It's been three days since I last seen Heather or talked to her since I lost my phone but I ended up finding it at the house the party was at three days ago. As soon as I got it charged up I immediately called Heather and seen I had at least thirty missed calls from her and ten from Lori. When I tried to call Heather back her phone went straight to voicemail. Grabbing my keys off my dresser I ran out to my car and drove to Heather's house. Once I got there I got out and rapidly rang the doorbell.

After a few seconds Heather's mom answers the door.

"Hi Mrs. Edwards is Heather upstairs?" I asked and she nodded.

After she allowed me inside I took off my shoes and went to Heather's room. Bringing my hand up I knocked on her door.

"Who is it?" I hear her ask from the other side of the door.

"It's me." I said leaning against the door frame.

I hear shuffling coming from inside the door opens to reveal Heather with a scowl on her face.

"What do YOU want?" She asked crossing her arms.

"I just got your missed calls what's wrong?" I asked scared.

"Like you would care anyway." Heather scoffed shaking her eyes.

"What's happened?" I asked walking into her room.

"You don't care about me do you?" Heather asks sitting on her bed.

"What do you mean? Of course I care about you you're my best friend." I said sitting next to her.

"No you don't because if you did you wouldn't have left me alone at that party!" Heather yells angrily.

"Wait. What do you mean left you at that party I was downstairs?" I asked confused.

"You and Lori left me alone. While you were socializing I was getting taken advantage of!" Heather yells and I was taken back.

"Wait. What?" I asked not sure if I heard her correctly.

"He took advantage of me Sean. I needed you. I needed my BEST FRIEND." Heather cries and I pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you." I apologized hugging her tighter.

"I called for you Sean. I did but you never came." She cries hugging me tighter.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry Heather. I am." I said pulling away to wipe her tears.

"You know I was sitting here yesterday thinking. What kind of best friend doesn't come for his best friend." Heather says shaking her head.

"I was talking with Karen and she said you went upstairs with some guy." I said remembering back to that night.

"Wow and you believed that lying bitch." Heather says laughing when she was just crying.

"I didn't think nothing of it." I said with a shrug.

"Seriously? What makes think I would just go up to a room with some random guy for no reason?Huh." She asked me.

"I'm sorry I should've done something." I said shaking my head because I wasn't there to protect my best friend.

I wasn't there for her in her time of need. Not even there to comfort her. If only I would've been there to stop her from going upstairs with that guy. As I sat there comforting my best friend I started to think about who this guy was. After Heather cried on my shoulder I laid with her in bed and held her.

"He told me that if I told a-anyone he w-would find me and torture me in w-ways I couldn't even i-imagine." Heather whimpered.

"Who was he?" I asked her.

"He said his name was Jason." Heather says shrugging.

"That sounds suspicious." I said shaking my head.

"At the time I didn't think about it." Heather says shrugging.

"Well I'm here now. I've got you." I said hugging her close to me.

I feel Heather nod as we started to watch a movie.

Waking up I realized I am still wrapped in Sean's arms. When I removed his from around me I got out of bed and walked inside of the bathroom. As I turned on the light I looked in the mirror and was horrified at how I looked. My eyes were red and puffy then my head was hurting so I put eye drops in my eyes then took an Ibuprofen. Once I left the bathroom I walked back to my room where I grabbed my phone and texted Lori.

As I sat my phone down on the bed my stomach started growling. I got out of my bed and headed down to the kitchen where I placed a bag of popcorn in the microwave. While the pope corn was popping I grabbed the bag of pretzels twists from the cabinet and poured some into a medium sized bowl. Finally the popcorn was finished so I opened the. Ag and poured it into the bowl and mixed up the pretzels and popcorn.

Grabbing a bottle of apple juice from the fridge I walked back up to my room and took a seat on the floor at the foot of my bed. About ten minutes later I hear movement from my bed and knew Sean was waking up.

"No wonder why my stomach is growling." He says sitting next to me on the floor.

"Sorry I got hungry." I apologize chewing on some popcorn.

"I can see that." Sean says and laughs.

"Don't judge me." I said and smiled at him.

"I'm not." He says shaking his head grabbing some popcorn.

Laughing at Sean we continued to watch the movie on my tv. Three hours and five movie later Sean had to leave and go home. I followed Sean to the front door and waited as he put his shoes on.

"Thank you for coming over." I said to Sean and smiled.

"It was the right thing to do." Sean says smiling down at me.

"I really needed it." I said and hugged him.

"I know you did." Sean says then pulls away.

I waved at Sean as he gets in his car and drives off. Locking the door behind me I went back upstairs to my room and continued to watch tv.

Once I arrived at home I was attacked by two pairs of arms wrapping around my legs. Looking down I see my little brother ad sister Aubree and Archer laughing. I laughed bending down to pull them into a hug.

"Where have you been all day?" Aubree asks in her kiddie voice.

"I went to go hang out with Heather." I said to them.

"I miss her." Archer says sticking out his bottom lip.

"You'll see her." I said ruffling his hair.

"Okay." He says and nods.

Giving my younger siblings one last hug I went up to my room. I shrugged off my leather jacket and tossed it on my bed. Next I took off my black long sleeve shirt, tossing that on my bed also. When I walked into my bathroom I turned on the shower and went to grab a towel then got in the sower. As I washed up I started thinking of the talk Heather and I had earlier.

Finally I got out of the shower wrapping my towel around my waist then dried off in my room. I slipped on a pair of black Calvin Klein boxer briefs and some black drawstring sweatpants then headed to the kitchen.

"Hungry?" My mom asks.

"Yea." I tell her nodding.

She makes me a plate then I sat at the table and start eating. Once I finished eating I helped my mom wash the dishes. After that was done I dried my hands off then said goodnight to my my mom then went upstairs to say goodnight to Aubree and Archer. I
