Heather's POV

After expecting Sean to come to my house yesterday I just gave up and stopped calling him. Getting out of bed I walked to my bathroom and turned on the shower. After stripping off my clothes I stepped in letting the warm water run down my body as my muscles allowed me to relax. I grabbed my blue bath sponge and squeezed my shower gel onto it and began washing myself. Turning the water off I wrapped my towel around myself and stepped out of the shower.

Once I headed into my room I dried off then got dressed in a pair of black and white side stripe leggings, a black champion logo t-shirt and black givenchy fur slides. I grabbed my scrunchy and tied my hair into a ponytail. I walked out of my room and down to the kitchen where I see my mom.

"Hey mom." I said giving her a smile.

"Hey sweetie how are you feeling?" My mom asks turning to me.

"I'm good." I said with a nod.

"That's good to hear." She says turning back to the stove.

Is now the time to tell her what happened two days ago at the party or no? I opened my mouth to say something but nothing would come out. Soon enough my mom puts a plate of pancakes and eggs in front of me.

"Thanks mom." I said with a smile.

"You're welcome my love." She says planting a kiss on my head.

I started to eat my breakfast and started thinking of a way to talk to my mom about what happened. What if she calls and tells my brother? Or what about my dad? I don't think I could handle that much aggression especially from two men. Shaking my head I snapped out of my thoughts and began to eat.

After I finished eating I handed my plate to my mom and headed back up to my room. I went to my box under my bed and grabbed some paper and colored pencils. Laying on my bed I plugged in my earbuds to my phone and played the song Dead In The Water by Ellie Goulding. As I listened to the song I started to draw. Once I was at the end of the song I looked at my drawing.

I slightly smiled down at it and sat it aside. Grabbing another piece of paper I started to draw. This time I drew another eye but this one was crying. The eye was glossy and red as a tear was starting to form.

Once I finished it I smiled down at it knowing that's how I really felt inside.

Just then there's a knock on my door and walking in was my mom. Quickly I covered the crying eyes with the previous eye and looked back up at her.

"Hey." I smile sitting up.

"Hey so whatcha doin?" She asks sitting next to me on my bed.

"Just drawing." I shrugged.

"Oh okay just wondering because you were quiet." My mom shrugs.

"Oh okay." I chuckled.

"So what exactly are you drawing?" My mom asks.

"I was drawing eyes." I said showing her the first eye I drew.

"Wow it's so nice." My mom smiles.

"Thanks." I say returning the smile.

My mom planted a kiss on my head then left my room. I sighed heavily and laid on my back staring up at the ceiling. What am I going to do? Needing someone to talk to I called Lori.

Setting my phone down I wiped my face then put my color pencils and things away. I wanted to try and call Sean again so I grabbed my phone and dialed his number. 'Hey it's Sean I'm probably busy so leave a message after the beep.' BEEP! Once I left a voicemail I slammed my phone my bed. After waiting about ten minutes I decided to call back again.

Finally giving up after calling a few more times I just got under my covers and laid there as I turned on the tv and started watching a movie.

After talking with Heather over the phone I immediately called Sean. 'Hey this is Sean I'm probably busy so leave a message after the beep.' BEEP!

Sean it's Lori again um I really need you to call me asap please...bye." I said then hung up.

Running my hand through my hair I sat on my bed letting out a heavy sigh. Just then my mom walks in my room.

"Hey what's wrong?" My mom asks sitting on my bed next to me.

"I've been calling Sean since yesterday and he's still not answering mine or Heather's calls." I explain while shaking my head.

"Oh maybe he's busy or lost his phone." My mom says to me.

"I don't know maybe you're right." I tell her shrugging.

"Okay well dinner is ready so come down and eat." My mom tells me placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Alright." I nodded.

I stood up and followed my mom down to the kitchen where I sat at the table while my mom made me a plate.

She then placed the plate in front of me and I began to eat.

"Do you like it?" My mom asks as she sat down.

"Yea." I nodded.

"Good it's a new recipe I found online." My mom smiles.

"It's good." I tell her.

"Thank you." She smiles at me.

We talked and laughed while we ate then once we finished I handed my plate then headed back up to my room. I went over to my window and stared at the cars that passed by thinking of how to get in contact with Sean. Feeling stressed out I changed into my orange neon knit tie side bikini bottoms and orange neon knit triangle bikini top then grabbed my towel and went to the jacuzzi.

I turned on the jets as the water began to heat up. Finally I got in and sighed as I sat back and relaxed. Suddenly I just started crying because I wasn't there for Heather when she needed me.

I shouldn't have left her alone with that boy. If I wasn't so caught I'm up in having fun I could've helped before she got raped by that boy. Damn it I should've done something to help her. I'm such a terrible best friend. About twenty minutes passed before I got out of the jacuzzi wrapping my towel around me then went to my room.

I went into my bathroom and turned the shower on. While the water warmed up I plugged my phone up to the charger. Once he water warmed up I took off my swimsuit then got in the shower, closing my eyes at the feeling of the water running down my body. Finally after enjoying the water I began to wash my body then I washed my hair. Getting out I dried off then got dressed in a pair of black mid rise leggings, a white ribbed crop cami and pink ankles socks.

I blow dried my hair then tied it in a messy bun. Turning my bathroom light off I went over to my bed and pulled the covers back. Once I got in bed I got comfortable and began to watch a movie that came on tv. Soon enough I began to doze off but couldn't help but think of the situation with Heather.
