REAL LIFE

"millie" a voice sounded outside of the girl's bedroom door.

milani slowly opened her eyes, watching as her bedroom door opened. she soon noticed her brother peeking through the crack, eventually finding his way into her room.

"what do you want?" the girl mumbled, rolling over in her bed so that her back was to him.

"um, for starters.. it's 2pm," he pointed out.

she immediately rolled back over and glanced at her phone, noting that it actually was two in the afternoon. groaning, she sat up and rubbed her eyes. as she did so, she noticed that she was wearing an oversized black button up shirt.

"who's-"

"i have no clue," she answered before he could finish his question.

kyson ran his fingers through his hair, "jesus milani, how much did you have to drink last night?"

the girl remained silent, unable to recall how many drinks she had because she was more focused on who's shirt she was wearing. along with that, her head was hurting more than it ever has.

"can you just.." she started. "give me a minute?"

her brother nodded and quietly left her room, shutting the door behind him.

milani shut her eyes, trying to focus on her memory of last night. all she remembers was that she wasn't going thrifting with nick and ended up going out to a party with her brother.

failing to remember any other detail, she reached for her phone and noticed a thousand different notifications displayed on her lock screen. the most recent being a text from ella, followed by a strand of messages from the thotivities group chat.

she then noticed a couple texts from someone named mason. it was then that she started to remember what happened last night.
