Happy Screams

"Please be carful, El." Mavis sighed as she watched her girlfriend tie the black bandana over her eyes with the radio static.

"Is this really gonna work?" Max asked excited while taking a seat next to Carrie on the bed as El nodded.

"Holy shit this is insane-" Max began but was cut off.

"Max, hush." Mavis said to her with a point as she sat across from El.

"Right, okay." Max nodded while she shut her mouth quickly.

"I see them." El said after a few minutes, Mav looked up at her friends on the bed with a annoyed look, not liking this idea.

"What are they doing?" Carrie questioned her.

"Eating." El said as Mavis laughed.

"Let me guess, nacho cheese chips." Mavis said as she saw a small grin form on El's lips before she nodded.

"They say we are species." El said as Mavis jaw dropped.

"Are you kidding?" Carrie asked, the steam nearly being seen coming from her ears.

"Emotion not logic." El informed them.

"What?!" Max asked loudly and annoyed.

"I'm gonna kick their asses, poor Will." Mavis said with a huff as she crossed her legs. El suddenly yanked the blind fold off and looked at them with wide eyes.

"What is it?" Max asked her as El suddenly started laugh, falling into Mavis who laughed because of her laugh, before Max and Carrie joined in.  (soft core four.)

The loud car from outside made El look to Mavis with wide eyes, "Hide!"

Carrie quickly helped Mavis into the closet as the door shut behind it. It was dark, but Mavis could hear the loud footsteps of Hopper coming into the house, "Can't believe i'm back in the closet."

"Hey! Hey! When I say three inches, three inch-" Hopper began loudly as he crashed through El's door to see the three girls on the floor.

"Geez, do you ever knock?" Max scolded him.

"Yeah, geez." El added in, making Mavis smile from where she hide.

"Oh, hey. I'm sorry, I thought-" he began but was cut off.

"Mavis isn't here." Max said to him with a annoyed look.

"And i'm taking time away from Mike, like you said." Carrie added in as Hopper gave the three a wide eyed look.

"Max and Carrie wanted to have a sleepover, is that okay?" El asked as she looked up at him from were they laid on the ground.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, your parents know about it?" Hopper asked, Mavis could hear the softness of his voice.

"Yup, both of ours do." Max answered with a nod while motioning between her and Carrie.

"Uh, yeah that's cool. That's really cool." Hopper explained, still parked in the doorway.

"Did you need something?" Max now asked as his eyes widened and shook his head.

"No, no i'll leave. I'll leave you." Hopper said as he shut the door behind him. Waiting a few moments Mavis exited the closet as the four laughed again.

"Ready?" Max asked as she spun the bottle in the middle of the board, watching which name it landed on.

"Mr.Wheeler, boring." Max said as Carrie nodded.

"All he ever does is sit in the lazy boy." she added as Mavis nodded.

"And eat chicken." Mav added as the four laughed before El spun the bottle again, watching as it landed on Billy.

"No, bad idea." Mavis shook her head as El gave a confused look.

"Okay, I should just warn you if he's with a girl or doing something gross just get out of there before you're scared for life." Max warned El, standing up and walked around the room.

"Max-

"No i'm just saying, he's really gross!"

"Max!"

"Maybe Mavis is right, we probably shouldn't do this. Don't you remember how Billy reacted last time the three of us hung out?" Carrie asked as Max nodded.

"What happened?" El asked as she looked to Mavis next to her.

"Threatened to shove carrots up my nose." Mavis said as El couldn't hold back her laugher.

"Not funny, El." Mavis said as she grinned and nudged the girl as she put the blindfold on after a moment and Max messed with the radio.

"I found him." El said a few moments later.

"What's he doing?" Max asked her as the three paid close attention to El.

"I don't know." El said back, her voice different than it usually was.

"He's on the floor talking to someone." El added as Mavis frowned her dark eyebrows.

"Who is it?" she asked her as El shook her head, indicating she didn't know before she suddenly yanked the blind fold off and shook.

"El, it's okay, it's okay." Mavis tried to reassure her while wrapping a arm around her to pull her closer, looking to Carrie worried.

"What is it?" Max asked her worried as El gripping onto Mavis's arms tighter.

"Ow! Mavis, what the hell?" Carrie asked after Mavis slapped her neck as they walked down the road.

"Mosquito, see." Mavis said as she wiped her bloody hand on Carrie as the girl struggling and slapped at her arm.

"It's gonna start pouring soon. We should be at the mall or watching a movie or something." Max said as she looked up at the thunder in the sky.

"You don't believe me?" El asked as she grabbed Mavis's hand.

"I believe you saw some super weird stuff, totally. But you said Mike has sensed you in there before right? So maybe it was just like that, maybe Billy just sensed you somehow." Max explained, trying to convince herself more then the others.

"But the screams." El pointed out as Max sighed with a nod.

"Yeah I know but here's the thing, when Billy is alone with a girl, they make like really crazy noises." Max explained as Mavis looked at her with a crazy look.

"They scream?" El asked with a confused look.

"Yeah but like happy screams." Max went on as Mavis once again gave her a look.

"Max! No!" Mavis explained to her with a insane look, pushing some of the pink locks out of her face and behind her ears.

"What's happy screams?" El asked as Mavis groaned, getting a laugh from Carrie on her other side.

"I'm just gonna lend you my Moms cosmo." Max said as Mavis scoffed.

"Oh yeah that's a great idea." she said sarcastically as the four now stood infront of Max's house.

"His cars not here." Carrie pointed out, not seeing the car that she watched Mavis key multiple times.

"To bad, i'm in a drawing mood." Mavis shrugged her shoulders.

"You sure you wanna do this?" Max asked El, catching all their attentions as the short haired brunette nodded. Walking into Max's house was a familiar feeling by now, still putting Mavis on edge as she looked around for any sign of Billy.

"Why do I get the feeling we're gonna find all kinds of wrong in here?" Max asked as they walked into her step brothers messy room.

"I'm too gay to this." Mavis mumbled, tearing her eyes away from the half naked woman on the wall.

"Ugh, gag me with a spoon." Max commented as she quickly shut the bed side door.

"This smells worse that Mikes room and believe me when I say his room ranks." Carrie commented with a scrunch of her nose.

"Mav, come on." El called out as Mavis followed her to the bathroom as the other two trailed behind them.

"Mav." El said as she looked down at the full bathtub with ice bags floating around.

"Ice, it's just ice. He works out like a maniac." Max said as Mavis shrugged.

"He is a maniac." she said as Max flashed her a grin.

"Is that blood?" Carries voice spoke as they looked over and saw the slightest shade on the cabinets, El rushed over and pulled it open to look under the sink.

"El, what is it?" Max asked her as she saw El pull a green bucket form under the sink. She reached inside and pulled out a life guard fanny pack and a bloody whistle before looking back at the three with horror in her eyes.
