Back of a cop car

"Mav! Mavis wait!" Mike yelled as he ran after Mavis down the hallway. He had Will and Carrie not too far behind him, Carries hand in his.

"What? What?" she asked worried as she saw the looks on the three's faces.

"Dart... he-" Carrie tried to explain but couldn't bring herself to say it. Looking to Will, he gave her a frightened expression as her mind clicked.

"Upside Down," she said in confirmation while lacing her hand with Wills as the four ran off to find the rest of their friends.

"Dustin! Wait!" Mavis shouted as they ran into Mr. Clark's classroom to see Dustin about to show their teacher the creature.

"I'm really sorry Mr.Clarke, it was just a stupid prank," Mike said quickly as he grabbed the box Dart was in.

"What the hell are you doing?" Dustin asked them with a crazy look.

"Let's go," Mavis said as the three looked at her.

"Let's go right now!" she yelled at them before the group all ran down the hallway into to AV Club room.

"Party members only," Mike said while slamming the door in Max's face. Mike began to tell Dustin and Lucas about Dart and how Carrie and Will have seen him before.

"I don't understand" Lucas spoke as Mavis gave him a look.

"What do you not understand?" she asked with frowned eyebrows.

"Will and Carrie saw something that looked like Dart last year?" he asked while looking between the two siblings.

"Kinda but there was no tail," Will said to him quietly.

"But then he heard it yesterday, the same sound" Mike finished for him as Dustin looked over.

"Why didn't you two tell us before?" he asked annoyed, making Mavis give him a look.

"We weren't sure" Carrie admits while rubbing her cold arms.

"So it's a coincidence" Dustin listed off even though he didn't believe it.

"Or not" Mavis shook her head before Mike spoke next to her.

"What if when Will and Carrie were stuck in the upside-down, they somehow acquired true sight," Mike said as he made eye contact with everyone.

"True sight?" Lucas asked him confused.

"The power to see into a new plain" Dustin confirmed for him.

"Elaborate" Lucas said with an annoyed expression.

"Maybe these episodes that they keep having aren't flashbacks, maybe they're real. What if Will and Carrie can see into the upside-down" Mavis said with a knowing look toward her two friends.

"So that would mean..." Lucas trailed off as he looked at his pink-haired best friend.

"Dart is from the upside-down" Mike spoke for her, even though they were all thinking it.

"We have to take him to Hopper" Lucas spoke while Mike nodded in agreement.

"No, no if we take him to Hopper, Darts as good as dead" Dustin quickly disagreed with a shake of his head.

"Maybe he should be" Mike added back with a glare.

"Mike don't be cruel" Mavis scolded him while pushing some of her hair out of her face.

"How could you say that?" Dustin asked him with an insane expression.

"How could you not? He's from the upside-down!" Mike defended himself quickly.

"Maybe, and evening if he is that doesn't mean he's bad" Dustin stood up for the creature quickly while Mavis and Lucas shared a look.

"That's like saying just because someone's from the death star doesn't make them bad"

"We have a bond"

"A bond? Just because he likes nougat?"

"No! Because he trusts me!"

"He trusts you?"

"Yes! I promised that I would take care of him!"

"He has a point" Mavis spoke up as Mike gave her a look.

"Have you gone even more insane? He has no point" Mike quickly said as Mavis glared.

"Dustin said he promised! You shouldn't break a promise ever! But Dustin, you aren't off the hook, you shouldn't have promised him something you knew you couldn't keep!" Mavis spoke loudly, the group now realizing she was no longer talking about Dart.

"I'm sorry" she apologized in a whisper as she looked down, feeling Lucas grab her hand softly.

"What's happening?" Carrie asked as the box Dart was in began to shake violently. Mike pushed her behind him while grabbing the mic.

"Don't hurt him!" Dustin shouted at Mike, who sent him a look.

"Only if he attacks," the Wheeler boy said while they watched Dart pop out of the box and push two hind legs from his side.

"Kill it!" Lucas screamed from where he cowered behind Mavis. Mike tried to hit Dart with the mic but missed as the creature jumped off the table and ran for the door, just as Max swung it open, letting him escape.

"No!" Dustin shouted as he ran out the door, tackling Max to the ground.

"Where'd he go?"

"What was that?"

"Dart!"

"What!"

"You let him escape!"

"Why'd you attack him!"

"Come on" Mike rolled his eyes as they all ran off in opposite directions to find him quickly.

"Dart? Cmon little buddy you know I won't hurt you" Mavis cooed as she looked through the room after roming in the hallways. She looked through janitor closets and abandoned classrooms before she walked into the gym. Hearing a small noise from the boy's locker room, she slowly approached, pulling off her combat boot.

"Got you!" she yelled when chunking her boot at the noise.

"Ow!" a feminine voice said as Mavis then saw the red hair.

"Max? What the hell!" she said while Max gave her a crazy look.

"What the hell me? Why'd you throw your shoe at me?" she asked while throwing it back to Mavis.

"Any luck?" the shorter girl asked while they walked out of the locker room.

"Non, why does Mike hate me so much?" she asked as Mavis sighed with a shrug.

"Were all just grieving differently, he thinks if we accept another girl party member you'd be like replacing El" Mavis explained, flinching as she said the name with a frown.

"What about Carrie? She said she didn't get here until after El left" Max said back as Mavis sighed and turned to her.

"I don't know Max, it's hard to explain. You wouldn't understand" Mavis said, not meaning for it to come out as rude as it did, before she spun on her heels again.

"I could be your guys zoomer," she suggested as Mavis frowned her eyebrows.

"Mike says we don't need any more party members," Mavis said back to her, wanting the topic to be dropped.

"Yeah? Like what?" Max asked as Mavis rolled her eyes.

"Mikes our Paladin, I'm our Fighter, Wills our Cleric, Dustin's our Bard, Lucas is our Ranger, Carries our Sourcerer, and El's our Mage" Mavis listed on as she turned to her once more.

"Zoomer could fit perfectly" Max defended herself as Mavis crossed her arms with an eyebrow raised.

"Prove it," she said as Max smirked and jumped on her skateboard, skating in a circle around Mavis.

"Doesn't seem so hard" Mavis said to her with a small smile, slightly amazed.

"Oh yeah? I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeve" Max said back with a smile as Mavis turned in a circle to follow her until Max was suddenly yanked off her board, making her fall to the ground.

"Woah, are you okay?" Mavis asked her while trying to hide her laugh and helping Max up.

"Yeah it just felt like a magnet was pulling on my board, I know that sounds crazy" Max shook her head as Mavis blinked in shock while looking around. It couldn't be.

"Mavis! Max! Come on! It's Will and Carrie!" Lucas yelled as he pushed through the doors, causing the two to take off. Mavis pushed through the doors as she ran to where Mike was trying to get Carrie and Will to come back, their bodies slightly shaking from the trance they were in.

"What happened! Are they okay?" Mavis asked in a panic while looking between the two, not knowing if it was safe to touch them or not.

"I just found them like this, I think they're having another episode," Mike said as Joyce ran over, speeding after getting the call.

"Will! Carrie! Wake up, it's Mom! It's your Mom! Wake up" Joyce said with a shaky voice as she shook the two. Their eyes suddenly shot open at the same time, gasping for air.

Joyce was leading the two away from the school with Mavis not too far behind them, "I'll be over as soon as possible with movies and snacks and anything else, okay? Anything you need, call"

"Thank you, sweetie, we'll see you soon," Joyce said as she wrapped the girl in a hug and drove her two kids home.

"Where's your friend?" Darcy asked as Mavis walked into the Debate team class the next day.

"He's not gonna be able to make it today" she mumbled under her breath as she then caught sight of Andy standing in the corner.

"What happened to you?" she asked him with wide eyes, seeing as he was covered in bruises and cuts on his lips.

"Troy and James are what happened" he mumbled as Mavis frowned.

"Did they get in trouble?" she asked, making the boy shake his head. Looking to Darcey ,she gave a knowing look.

"I have an idea, it's a bit of a stretch but I think it may be worth it" Mavis spoke as the team all gave a confused look.

Waiting for class to start the next day Mike talked to Lucas quickly until he heard a loud alarm noise coming from the hallway.

"What on earth is that?" Mr.Clarke asked as his whole class rushed out the doors along with the other classes down that hallway.

Mavis led a small group of teens with a megaphone in her hands. The four young teens behind her all held large poster boards as they followed after her with brave faces on.

So much for a no-bullying school.

Equal punishment for all.

Stop picking favorites.

Bullying should never be acceptable.

"Miss Hilton, shut this down right now!" The principal shouted as he walked into the hallway.

"No can do" she spoke before bringing the megaphone to her mouth.

"Andy is a victim of violence at our school! Wanna guess by who? Troy and James! You've heard about them, you've probably even been a victim yourself by their hands" Mavis spoke loudly as everyone filled the hallway and watched in shock.

"Tell me how a school that is supposed to be known for a no-bullying tolerance, allows this to happen daily? Because Troy and James both come from well knows families in this town? Because both their parents donate a shit ton of money to the school?" she spoke up while spinning in a circle to look at every one.

"That's exactly why! So tell me why! Tell me why guys like them can hurt people for no reason at all, but when a woman like myself punches a dickhead in the face last year for making fun of my friend, I got suspended?!" she shouted loudly into the mic as the double doors were suddenly pushed open.

"Shit," she said while dropped the megaphone as the two deputies walked her way.

"Oh, you're gonna arrest me? For what? Standing up for what's right?" she asked with a scoff, feeling the coldness of the handcuffs go around her wrist behind her back.

"No, disturbing the peace" one of them mumbled while dragging her out of the school and pushed into a cop car. But she didn't care, she left with a grin on her face, because she made a statement.
