"What are you doing out here all by yourself?" Merida asked, a smile still plastered on her face from scaring Hiccup and a half empty bottle of beer in her hand. "You do know the party's downstairs, right?"

Hiccup scoffed at her sarcastic jokes. "I could ask you the same thing."

"I asked you first," the redhead urged, leaning on the balcony railing beside him.

"I asked you second." the brunette shot back in response, proud of his childish remark.

Merida laughed, glancing to him. "Don't be a smart-ass! No one likes a smart-ass, Haddock," Hiccup rolled his eyes playfully. "So, you gonna answer my question or not?"

The drummer sighed craning his neck to look down to the balcony floor, his drink held in his right hand. "I'm just not that much of a party-person. I never have been, in all honesty." There was silence for a few moments, Merida taking a large gulp of beer from the bottle she held in her hand.

"So what, you're like some anti-social loner?" The redhead asked, completely killing the mood. Hiccup looked at her with a bored expression to which she put both her hands up. "That was a joke, totally a joke! I promise!" Merida exclaimed, laughing hysterically. Hiccup couldn't contain a chuckle and joined in with her.

"Whatever, DunBroch," the boy rolled his eyes at her playfully. "What're you doing up here?"

"Well, I was going to get yet another drink, and I saw you come up here so I thought I'd come see if you were alright..." She trailed off.

Hiccup dramatically and deliberately pretended to spit out his drink. "Is this a caring action I sense in you, DunBroch?" He asked as if he were some kind of sophisticated person. Merida shook her head, pushing him lightly.

"No, of course not! I do not care about you, obviously. I was just- well I didn't want your dorky-ass to be alone!" She rambled, scratching the back of her neck. Hic couldn't help but laugh at her. Merida's cheeks began to turn as red as her hair. They took a moment to let their laughter die down, and once it did they looked back out to the dark sky. "You know, you're not that bad, Haddock-" Merida tried to get out but stopped herself when she suddenly heard the sound of a familiar song coming from downstairs.

'Cause baby now we got bad blood,
You know it used to be mad love.
So take a look what you've done,
'Cause baby now we got bad blood, hey!

Merida's eyes widened. "That song..." she mumbled, Hiccup looking at her with confusion. "Oh shit." The redhead then said louder, grabbing the brunette's wrist and beginning to drag him down the stairs. They began to hear shouting coming from the garden as the music had stopped. Once they reached the backyard, the two noticed that everyone was gathered around something, all yelling.

Merida let go of Hiccup and sprinted towards the scene, where she first lay eyes on Naveen. The brunette followed close behind her. "Naveen, what the hell is going on?"

"Astrid started singing her song 'Bad Blood' and now her and the girls are in a huge fight. She was totally dissing you and your band!" He explained. Merida narrowed her eyes.

"Astrid's here?" She asked, gritting her teeth.

"You didn't know?" Hiccup responded. "The guys and I were talking to her earlier, she seems really nice."

"Astrid is far from nice." Merida replied, clenching her fists as she began to push her way through the crowd of celebrities. Once she got to the front, she saw the other three girls having a screaming match with the singer-songwriter. Anna looked especially pissed off, as her and Astrid were beginning to get more physical by pushing each other and pulling on each other's hair.

"You have some nerve just walking in here like you own the place and then singing the song you wrote about us! Not to mention all the horrible shit you spread about us, which wasn't even true!" Punzie shouted, holding onto Anna's arm to make sure the strawberry blonde didn't pounce on her enemy.

Astrid rolled her eyes. "Don't act so innocent, blondie. We all know the only reason you threw this party was so that you could hook up with some of the guys here! That's what sluts do, isn't it?"

The whole crowd began to yell louder as Punzie stepped closer to Astrid, pushing Anna out of the way. Jack ran in suddenly, holding her back and trying to calm her down. He wiped a single tear that fell from her eye away quickly.

"Okay, you've seriously crossed the line now," Elsa set her drink down and clenched her jaw, completely ready to knock the teeth out of Astrid's mouth. She felt someone hold her back and turned to see Flynn. He gave her a pleading look, almost like he didn't want to see her get hurt. It confused Elsa, but somehow managed to keep her from doing anything.

Merida noticed Astrid was inching closer to Anna, who was shouting at her to get out. The redhead quickly swooped in between the two and nearly screaming the house down for everyone to shut up. The crowd went silent as she overpowered them all with her loud voice. "What're you doing here?" She asked angrily, turning to her blonde foe.

"You know I could never miss a party, Red." Astrid replied, smugly.

"First of all, you weren't invited." Merida hissed, pointing at her. She then looked to the rest of the crowd, mostly keeping her eyes on the girls. "And second of all, that's not how you kick someone's ass," she held up her fist to the girls with a smirk before turning back to Astrid. "This is!" She instantly swung her fist across Astrids face, punching her right in the nose, harshly. Astrid stumbled backwards as the crowd began their uproars again. The rest of the girls cheered, their hands in the air.

Astrid stood upright after gaining her balance and stared daggers at the redhead. "You trashy bitch!" She yelled before slapping Merida roughly on the cheek. The two girls grabbed each other by the hair and were now in a full-force fight. The herd of celebrities around them cheered and yelled as they hit and kicked at each other. Merida soon saw Anna pushing Astrid back and hitting her as she joined in to help her friend. Punzie and Elsa stepped forward but were pulled back by Flynn and Jack yet again. Kristoff made his way to Anna and grabbed her by her upper arm as she desperately tried to continue to hit Astrid. The blonde pushed Merida backwards, causing the redhead to stumble. She felt Hiccup catch her before she could hit the ground. He held onto her so she couldn't jump back into action.

Some other people grabbed onto Astrid to make sure she didn't try to get at the girls again. Her nose bled a little from the hard punch Merida gave her. "This isn't over," she barked, pulling away from the people's grasp and pushing her way through the crowd and making her way out of the party.

Tooth came stomping to the front of the crowd, her eyes widened as she saw what condition the girls were in. 5sos and Little Mix all froze as they realised how angry she was, cringing at how much trouble they were going to be in.

"What were you thinking?!" The manager cried, pacing the living room floor. "Do you know how bad this is? The press loves this kind of stuff, it's gonna be everywhere! God, what- why would you even attempt something like this?!"

The guests of the party had left, leaving the garden and kitchen a mess to clean up. The two bands sat timidly watching her ramble. The whole team were in quite sticky situations at the moment- Merida held an ice pack up against her forehead as Punzie wiped some blood from the redhead's lip. Anna had a few bruises on her arms and rubbed them as they stiffened her bones. Hiccup couldn't stop glancing over to Merida, wanting to make sure she was okay. Elsa's mind was racing with thoughts about how Flynn made her feel during the fight earlier. Kristoff wanted to desperately help Anna with her injuries and Jack felt saddened at how awful Astrid made Rapunzel feel at the fight with the insults she threw at her.

"If you don't mind me asking," Flynn was the first to speak after Tooth. "Why do you have so much drama with Astrid?"

The girls sighed and bit their lips while Tooth took a seat on one of the couches, burying her head in her hands. Merida spoke up; "We all used to be friends with her. Best friends, actually. She was sometimes a little fake but we still loved her. One night we were at some after party for an award show, and I caught her hooking up with my ex boyfriend, Josh Macintosh. We had been together for 2 years."

The boys' mouths were left a gap. "We confronted her about it and stopped being friends with her. She started spreading lies and rumours that weren't true about us. She also wrote a load of songs about us, including 'Bad Blood'." Elsa finished for Mer, who looked on-edge as she had to talk about Josh. It was kinda known in the house not to bring him up. He was the only guy Merida had actually loved, ever. She wasn't really the dating-type, but oh boy, she really fell for him all those years ago. She was so heartbroken when they broke up, she didn't stop crying for 2 weeks. She's really changed since then, she hasn't gotten attached to another guy since it happened. "That's why we have so much drama with her."

"Holy shit..." Jack breath out. The room fell silent, no one knowing what else to say or do.

Tooth finally stood up. "I think it's time for everyone to head up to bed." She declared before looking to her band. "I'm very disappointed in you girls." With that, she quickly made her way upstairs, almost looking as though she was going to cry.

"We're sorry, Tooth-" Anna tried to say but the manager was already up the stairs. Silence filled the air again, but not for too long. Merida got up from where she sat, took one good look at everyone and then left the room without another word, going upstairs to her bedroom as quickly as she could.

Rapunzel hated confrontation and felt bad at how they made Tooth feel. She sniffled, thinking back on how Astrid had called her a slut. Tears built up underneath her eyelids and before she could burst out crying, she sprinted up to her room, not long after Merida.

The others soon made their ways upstairs, not even bidding each other good night, leaving the mess of the party to clean up tomorrow.
