The band lounged around in Jack's bedroom, exhausted after the award show last night. They had decided to stay there for the night, and fell asleep instantly once they arrived. Hiccup and Kristoff sat on blue bean-bags on the floor, game controllers in their hands as they played a very intense video game on the tv in the corner. Flynn lay, still asleep on his friends double sized bed, drooling on the pillow. As for Jack, he chomped down on a slice of toast and scrolled through Instagram on his phone. Many pictures of the celebrities from last night were showing up on his feed, including ones of that girl band, Little Mix.
"Yes!" Hiccup cheered, throwing his fist into the air with a grin on his face. "I win, again!"
Kristoff groaned, sinking back into his bean-bag with a frown. "Come on, man! How do you manage to win every time?" He grimaced, glaring in the brunettes direction.
Before Hiccup could make a smart remark back to his friend, the bedroom door opened to reveal a tall and slim woman, wearing a grey coloured suit and black heeled shoes. Her straight chestnut brown hair was tied back into a ponytail, and her fringe covering her forehead. Her midnight blue eyes glanced to her outfit as she brushed it down for a moment before she looked up to the boys.
"Jack, I'm heading out to work and Emma's gone to the movies with Wilbur and Violet. She's staying in Penny's tonight so don't wait up for her." The white haired boy's mother, Diana Overland Frost, told her son, before looking to Hiccup and Kristoff with a smile. "You boys are welcome to help yourselves to anything in the kitchen. Emma insisted on making pancakes for you all before she left earlier. There cooling on the counter so you just need to heat them up."
"Thanks, Mrs. Overland!" Kristoff exclaimed happily back to her. Diana was always like a second mother to Hiccup, Kristoff and Flynn. She was a loving and funny woman. Most people who knew the family would not even need to guess that she was where Jack got his incredible wit from.
Diana giggled, before looking to her son yet again. "Try not to make a mess of the house."
Jack smirked. "No promises, mom."
The woman shook her head playfully, walking towards him and kissing him lightly on the head before making her way back to the door and grabbing the handle. As she began to close it, she stopped and peaked her head in one more time. "And wake Flynn up, he's getting drool all over my sheets." She grinned, just like her son tended to do most of the time. The three boys laughed as she bid them a quick goodbye, closing the door and making her way downstairs to leave for work.
Jack chuckled, grabbing a pillow from the ground and throwing it at Flynn, who after impact, jerked up with surprise. His hair was messy, and he wiped the drool on his chin off with droopy eyes. "Welcome back to reality, Sleeping Beauty." Jack joked, which made Flynn growl with annoyance.
"Did you really have to wake me up?"
The white haired boy nodded cheekily, making the other two laugh. Suddenly, the bedroom door slammed open, making the boys jump with fright. Flynn rolled of the bed with a shriek, hitting the floor harshly. "Dammit." He let out from the ground.
Standing in the door frame, was North, who was looking much happier than usual. He marched into the room, grabbing Kristoff by the arm and pulling him to his feet. He danced around, dragging the blonde with him.
"North, how did you get into the house?" Jack asked, confusion filling up inside of him.
"Diana let me in as she was leaving for work," North explained, spinning Kristoff around. "But that's not the point! I have some very exciting news, boys!"
Flynn stood with a tired look on his face, snapping at the man. "No shit." He rolled his eyes, crawling back onto the bed and burying his head in one of the many pillows which were scattered on it.
North finally let go of Kristoff, who stumbled backwards due to all the spinning he was being made do, and reached out to grab Hiccups shoulder to gain his balance. North clasped his hands together, his smile only growing wider. Jack lifted his shoulders high, "So, what's this big news you're raving on about?" He asked the manager, running a hand through his hair.
"Oh! Yes, yes, of course," North burst out with excitement. "Last night, while you four were at the after party, I got chatting to a lovely young woman. Stacey- well, she likes to go by the name of Tooth." He began to explain. "Anyway, she manages a group of girls who are musical geniuses, like yourselves. As we got to talk more and more, she kindly offered me a deal."
Hiccup narrowed his eyes with uncertainty. "What kind of deal?"
North chuckled loudly, patting his chest. "Now, this is where it gets good! She offered a collaboration, per-say. You boys are being given the privilege of doing an album with her group, and have the chance to live with the girls in their mansion while recording it!" He cheered, throwing his hands into the air. Flynn shot his head upwards with widened eyes and a much more awaken face. The boys stared at North with disbelief for a moment, before jumping into action, screaming with joy.
"No way, man!" Kristoff yelled with happiness and a humongous smile. "This is so awesome! Finally, we're getting recognised!"
"Well," Flynn squealed. "Who're we collabing with? I can't wait to meet 'em!"
North clapped his hands once more, his whitened teeth glistening as he showed them with happiness. "They're the most famous band in the world, so don't freak out," he bit his lip with excitement. "Little Mix!"
The boys' faces suddenly fell from smiles to frowns, and in unison, they shouted with their jaws fully dropped open, "What?!"
ร
"Here we are, boys." North announced as he parked his jeep outside the bands new home for the next few months. Once entering the private grounds which were owned by Little Mix, they drove for three minutes just to get down the incredibly long driveway. It was a scenic route to the mansion, the gardens were filled with healthy grass, flowers and wildlife.
It looked beautiful. Some would think of it as a paradise to live, but the boys were thinking otherwise.
They sighed as the car stopped, and Kristoff was the first, after North, to exit the vehicle. He looked up at the house, which was a tall and long building, painted white. The front door was huge, and the windows gleamed as the sunlight hit them just right. Red and yellow flowers decorated the outside of the house, as some sat in pots on the window sills and others outside the door. The other three boys stepped out of the car, staring at the building with disbelief as to it being much bigger than they expected. "Holy shit." Flynn whispered under his breath.
North finished lifting their luggage out from the back of the car and clicked one of the buttons on his keys, locking it. "Aren't you all excited?" He asked, handing Jack his blue suitcase, while the others picked their own up.
Hiccup bit the inside of his lip, still gawking at the mansion. "Super excited." The brunette replied with a fake tone. Jack hummed in response to his managers question, taking a deep breath as he heard the front door suddenly open.
The band and North shifted their gaze to the entrance of the house, where a small sized woman stepped out, her phone placed firmly in her hand. Her black hair was cut into a pixie- bob style, with the front parts of it dyed vibrant colours of purples, yellows and blues. She had pale skin and large crystal blue eyes. On top of her head, a pair of black sunglasses rested, and beige coloured feather earrings hung from each of her ears. She wore bellbottom dark blue jeans and a floral, off the shoulder, summer blouse. On her feet, were black boots, which were half covered due to her jeans. She gasped with delight at the sight of them all. "You made it!" She smiled. North chuckled as she made her way down the front steps and towards them. He bent down to hug her, and she patted his back with some laughter escaping her mouth. "Nice to see you again, North." She greeted in a friendly tone as they let each other go.
"Always a pleasure, Stacey." He nodded to her, his lips curving upwards.
She giggled, turning suddenly to the four standing beside him. "These must be your boys! Oh, it's so wonderful to meet you all," She squealed, shaking each of their hands with a wide smile. They politely did the same, pulling through the fact that they had no want of being here at the moment.
"Lads, this is Little Mix's manager, who I was telling you about yesterday." He motioned her way.
"Please, call me Tooth," She smiled. "Come on in, I'll show you around the house and you can meet the girls." The boys nodded, grabbing the rest of their luggage and following the woman inside. Taking their first steps into the house, they were already starstruck. The wide hallway was filled with a mix of the scents of lavender and cinnamon. The floors were made out of a varnished white and black marble, a spiral staircase could be seen ahead, leading upstairs and the room was decorated with pictures, a huge mirror and other cute trinkets (which looked very expensive). On the glass table by the door, some of their many awards were placed.
Tooth giggled at their reaction, leading them first to the living room. "This is where the girls hangout, when they're not busy, of course." She explained. "The tv has every channel you could possibly think of, and the couches were only shipped in a couple weeks ago, so they are fresh and so comfy." She grinned, pointing to the light grey couches, which were holding a series of cushions the colours of yellow and blue. "You can set your luggage in the corner. Maudie and the other staff will bring them up to your rooms later."
The band nodded, doing as told. They didn't expect to have servants. To be honest, they didn't really expect anything. It was hard to think of what the life of fame was like.
"Let's head upstairs." Tooth inquired. "The kitchen, recording studio and library are just down the hall. You can check those out later." She led the boys and North up the spiral staircase and down the long hallway where they passed many bedrooms, bathrooms and other eccentric rooms that probably cost millions to get built.
Finally, after the short de-tour, they came to a door at the end of the upper floors hallway. Tooth turned to them all, a more serious look on her face. "Alright, this is what the girls call their inspiration room. They write all their songs in here, it's where all their ideas really flow the best." She whispered, placing her hand on the door knob. "We can take a quick peak inside and say a short 'hello', as they are very hard at work right now, writing songs for their new album."
They nodded with bored expressions, as she twisted the handle and pushed the door open slowly. Loud music suddenly filled the air. It was a familiar song to the boys that they had heard on the radio and at numerous parties.
So I put my hands up, they're playing my song, the butterflies fly away! Nodding my head like yeah, moving my hips like yeah! I put my hands up, they're playing my song, you know I'm gonna be okay! Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A!
Tooth gasped as she entered the room, not only to hear the music pumping from the many speakers, but to see that the girls were doing anything but working on their own songs. The room was colourful, with a retro sense of style to it. It gave a warm and settling vibe to the boys, which is something they hadn't felt since they arrived.
Their eyes first landed on a tanned girl, with long golden hair and bright lime green eyes. The girl wore a baggy pair of baby pink sweatpants and a string strap top which was the colour yellow. Her hair was tied into a messy ponytail, a blue scrunchie holding it in place. She mimicked the song they were listening to, which was sung by one of the girls' close friends, Megara Hera, as she held a table tennis racket and hit the ball over to another girl with a giggle.
The girl she played with laughed as she missed the ball completely. She had skin as white as snow, and platinum blonde hair which was pinned back into a plait. Her icy blue eyes pierced through anything they came in contact with. She wore a pair of black leggings and a simple navy oversized jumper.
Not far from the two playing table tennis, were a set of other girls, one of which had a mass of curly red hair. Her skin was pale and she had ocean blue eyes that flashed with confidence. The girl wore her hair down, as usual, and was wearing something similar to the golden haired girl, but in much darker colours. Next to her was a slightly shorter girl, with strawberry blonde hair tied into plaits, teal eyes and freckles covering her lightly tanned skin. She wore a cropped peachy coloured top and pyjama shorts. The two were in a head-to-head game of Just Dance, which was showing on the huge flat screen tv in front of them.
The boys stared at them as they had what looked like a tone of fun, wondering if they were usually this chilled out.
"Girls!" Tooth yelled over the music in distress. The four girls jumped with surprise, all turning to see their manager and guests. The two blondes dropped their table tennis rackets and stood straight, making innocent faces to try and squeeze their way out of the situation. Tooth strutted over to the sound system and unplugged the speakers, making the music come to a halt suddenly
The platinum blonde scratched the back of her head and cringed for a moment. "Hey Tooth..." she paused, trying to think of what to say next. "What's up?" She asked, biting the inside of her lip.
"What's up?" Tooth repeated sternly. "Is this what you four have been doing all morning? Slacking off, again?"
The strawberry blonde shook her head slowly, looking to the other three for some help. The redhead sprung into action, quickly grabbing a notepad and pen that was set on the couch. She waved it at Tooth. "We were actually just about to write down the new song we've been putting together..." she said, thinking up the entire reply in a matter of seconds. "Right girls?" She looked to her band, urging them in the correct direction of where she was going. They caught on and nodded with fake smiles.
Tooth crossed her arms over her chest. "Oh, really?" She asked, unamused as the boys and North stood awkwardly behind her. "What's the name of this so called song then?"
The green eyed girl sucked in her breath, looking around frantically. "It's called..." she trailed off, almost making it obvious that there was no song in the first place.
"Power!" The strawberry blonde blurted out. The three girls shot her a glare, at how basic the name she thought of was. "The song is called, Power."
Tooth took a moment of silence, staring at them with a raised eyebrow. Her facial expression changed quickly from a frown to a smile. "Alright then," She chirped, buying their story, which the boys were not. "Girls, this is 5 Seconds of Summer, the band you will be collabing with!" She squealed happily, pointing to the boys. They gave small smiles, which the girls returned in he same manner.
"Allow me to introduce myself ladies," North stepped forward politely. "I'm the boys' manager, North. This is Jack Frost, Hiccup Haddock, Flynn Rider and Kristoff Bjorgman." He motioned to each of the boys as he said their names.
"Nice to meet you all," the golden haired girl waved. "I'm Rapunzel Corona. This is Merida DunBroch, Elsa Snow and Anna Arendelle." She introduced herself and her friends.
Tooth clapped her hands as excitement filled her. "Well, North and I will leave you kids to get to know each other better." With that, the two managers left the room, closing the door behind them.
Kristoff, not wanting an awkward silence to fill the air, ruffled his hair and turned to the girls. "So, are you girls-"
"Cut the crap." Merida, who's Scottish accent was really showing, rolled her eyes as she cut him off.
Flynn scoffed, glaring in her direction. "What did you just say, Red?"
Merida growled, on the verge of attacking him at any minute. Elsa held her hand up, telling her to stay put. "What she means," the platinum blonde began. "Is that we know you guys are just as annoyed about doing this collab as us."
"You're not wrong." Hiccup replied under his breath, but just loud enough for them to hear.
"Long story short, you stay out of our way, and we'll stay out of yours. Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to write our apparent new hit single, Power." Rapunzel sighed, narrowing her eyes at Anna who sheepishly smiled.
The boys were ushered out of the room by the girls, and as they head the door slam behind them, they stood in the hallway staring at each other with widened eyes.
"God, they are just as I expected them to be" Jack groaned, crossing over his arms.
