KAKA AND MYMY'S BAND

AGE: 7

"No, you'll be on guitar and I'll be on drums." Annika instructs, "Ooo I can multi task!" Myley exclaims, failing at proving her point. 

"No you can't." Annika deadpans. "Actually, you do whatever, I'll just do the other." she shrugs.

"I want guitar." Myley smiles, "Okay I'll be on the drums." Annika shrugs.

"Wait. You guys need a band name." Mrs. Cameron states, "Oh my gosh yes!" Annika replies.

"Ooo maybe we can do our names together. Like um, Mannika?" Myley offers, "Yes Mannika!" Annika agrees.

"Oh my gosh! What if when we grow up, you like a boy and his name starts with an M! Then you're guys' couple name would be Mannika!" Myley points out, "Ew gross. I don't want to like a boy. Boys have cooties." Annika shudders at the thought of a boy.

"Jamie's a boy." Myley points out, "And I don't like Jamie." Annika states as her brother came from the door leading into the house.

"Can I be in the band?" Jamie requests, "No, this is an all girls band." Annika replies. "Please." Jamie whines, bouncing his knees. 

"I said no!" Annika yells, "You're supposed to be my sister. You're always so mean!" Jamie pouts before storming off. 

"Annika go apologize to your brother." Annika's mother says, "Fine." Annika sighs, stomping her feet as she walked into the house. 

"I'm sorry for yelling at you. You can be in our band." Annika says to Jamie, "I don't like it when you're mean to me." Jamie sulks. 

"I'm sorry for being mean. I won't be mean every again." Annika says, "Do you promise?" asks Jamie, "I promise." Annika smiles. 

"Can I be the lead singer?" Jamie asks.

"Damn, I remember that band. I tried my best to not let Jamie in at all but then he was in it and the band lasted for like a week." Annika comments, looking towards the boy beside her, "Yeah." Matt sighs.  "So we've looked through all of your snapchat memories with Myley, do you need to see anything else?" 

"Waffles." sighs from Annika, "How about me, you, Nick, Chris, and maybe Nate, if you want, all go get waffles." suggests Matt, "That sounds great, let me get changed." Annika replies. 

"I'll be in the living room." Matt smiles.

THE FIT

"You ready to go now?" questions Matt as he watches Annika come out of her room, phone in hand.  "Yep." replies Annika. 

"So we have to pick up Chris and Nick from the store but then we'll go back to my house, sound good?" Matt informs her, "Yep." she replies. 

"You good?" Matt asks, "Yep." she answers. "That's the third time you've said yep in a row. Are you okay? I mean you don't have to hang out if you're not ready." he replies. "No I'm ready." she assures him, "You sure?" he asks, "Yep- yes. Yes I'm sure." Annika smiles.

"Play bad habit, play bad habit. Right now." Annika demands to Chris who was on aux, "No. You can." Chris replies, "Oh for real?" she questions, "Yeah. When it's your turn on aux." he continues.

"Why can't you just play it now?" Annika questions, "Because, if I let you choose a song, then everybody in the car is gonna want to choose a song. And that's a no from me, so." Chris clarifies.

"Kid, you're acting like we have a whole set of Kindergarteners in the car. We're your brothers and our best friend. Is it that hard to let her have one song?" Nick comments, "That's a 2 against one Christopher." Mentions Annika.

"Three." Matt finally speaks.

"Three against one." Annika corrects herself. "Yall are so annoying, I swear to God." Chris mutters, tossing his phone to the girl sitting behind him.

"You're a slayer, thank you." Annika smiles, choosing her song that began playing, interrupting the song that had previously been playing.

"You weren't supposed to stop my song. You were supposed to add it to the queue, moron." Chris tells Annika, turning in his seat, "Well my song is better and deserves to be played over yours. It doesn't deserve to be second. It's just better." Annika rambles.

"That made absolutely no sense." Matt laughs, "Sorry, I'm dyslexic." Annika jokes, "What does dyslexia even have to do with that?" he replies, Annika shrugs, "It just does."

"You're really confusing most of the time." Nick comments, "Most of the time?" questions the girl, "Well I was gonna say the stereotypical 'you're really confusing sometimes' but I then thought about my words and realized you're confusing most of the time and not only sometimes." Nick explains, "And you wanna talk about not making any sense." Annika replies.

"That makes total sense!" exclaims Nick, "Sorry but it kinda did." Matt agrees.

"What happened to being on my side?" Annika asks Matt, "Yeah maybe when it comes to going against Chris but with Nick? Dawg, I am a Nick girl. I will forever chose Nick over anybody." Matt states.

"Even Panera girl?" Chris questions, "Ooo. Panera girl." Nick teases.

"I'm over her." Matt shrugs off.

"I feel like I'm missing something." Annika mentions, "There was this girl Matt met at Panera and he was like obsessed with her for like a straight week or two." Chris explains.

"Chris." Matt says, "What, I'm literally telling her what she wanted to know." Chris defends, "Yeah but I didn't want her to know." Matt replies.

"Why not?" Annika questions, "Because she's not important." Matt answers, "Or you just don't want Annika to think you're into a different girl." Nick shrugs.

"Nick shut up before I smack you." Matt responds, "I will also slap you." Annika adds, "And kick you very violently."

"What if I make a joke about that?" Chris asks, "Then I'll pull out your hair and if it doesn't all come out then I'm shaving it when you go to sleep." Annika answers.

"How come I get a worse punishment than him!" Chris exclaims, throwing his outstretched hand to his brother, "Because, like Matt said, I'm a Nick girl. Also Nick's just better than you." Annika explains with a shrug.

"Why isn't anybody ever on my side." Chris sulks, sinking in his seat. "Because you have poop head arguments and never have enough to back them up." Annika states. "I will slap you. Shut up." He replies. "I was just answering your question." She defends.

"Can we watch Wednesday when we get to your house?" Annika requests, "I've been meaning to watch that." Nick replies.

"All who vote to watch Wednesday. Say I." Annika declares. Everybody says I.  "Yay!!" Annika cheers with a smile on her face. Matt watches her through the mirror, wearing his own smile on his face.

"Wait can we pick up Venus and Issey?" Annika requests, "If they wanna come." Chris shrugs. "Alright. I'll call em." she replies. 

Annika calls one of the two Lennon sisters, Venus, who picks up shortly. 

"Hey Annika, you okay?" Venus asks, "Yeah. I'm good. Are you?" Annika answers, "I'm better. Did you need something?" the friend replies, "I just wanted to know if you and Klaris wanted, us to come pick you up. We're gonna watch Wednesday." Annika offers. 

"Yeah sure. Wait but who's we?" Venus questions, "The triplets and I." Annika answers. "Ohhh, so you're hanging out with the triplets again?" Venus questions once more, "This is the first time since... you know." Annika answers. 

"Okay well yeah. You can come pick us up." Venus says, "Okie dokie. We'll see you soon." replies Annika. 

KIERA SPEAKS: haven't updated anything in a hot minute but um. here i am. also IM AWARE THAT IT'S APPARENTLY JANUARY IN THE STORY AND WEDNESDAY CAME OUT LITERALLY IN NOVEMBER BUT WHATEVER
