"I can't." I sigh, "Fine." he replies, standing up.

"What the hell are you doing?" I giggle.

You think you're gonna tell me you love me and then get plain out rejected and completely friend zoned, but you won't because I am so in love with you it couldn't even compare to your love for me." he rants.

"Matt." I start, "What?" he pants, out of breath from his rant. 

"I wasn't gonna tell you I love you." I state.

"Don't take it back." I say, standing up, "Why? You just said you don't love me." he asks.

"I told you I wasn't going to tell you that I love you, that doesn't mean I don't. Believe me I love you too. And you're right. I was scared of rejection. But, now I know that's behind us." I answer, smiling up at him.

 "So you like me back?" he ask, "I love you back." I correct.

"You actually scared the balls out of me for a second there." he chuckles, "Oops, sorry." I shrug.

"Wait so then what were you gonna tell me?" he asks, "Oh. I was gonna tell you that the necklace you gave me that Christmas when we were like 14. I lost it, but never had the balls to tell you." I giggle.

"You made me confess to you all for a necklace?!" he asks, "Yeah. But it was worth it." I shrug.

"Wait wait wait. I forgot the most important moment of tonight." he says, turning away from me and picking through his backpack.

When he turns around, he's holding a ring pop as he smiles and gets down on one knee.

"Annika will you be my girlfriend?" he laughs, "Yes." I giggle as he puts the ring pop on my left ring finger.

"Now we're official." he smiles, licking my ring pop.

"Hey!" I exclaim.
