"Does it hurt terribly Draco?" Pansy pouted, her fingers trailing Malfoy's cast.
"It comes and it goes. I consider myself lucky," He boasted on about how he quite literally evaded death. It made Isabella sick, glaring over at him she turned her gaze back to Estrella and pulled a face making the witch giggle and shake her head.
"Should we pay a visit to the Gryffindor table? If I hear one more second of his survival story I might just rip my hair out." Estrella gagged, gathering her papers and stealthily stepping over the bench to Isabella's side. The two witches made their way to the Gryffindor table, Estrella plopping herself in front of Harry with a big sigh. "Are you hearing the meirda Draco is spitting about that little scratch?"
"Estrella what?" Ron looked at her baffled.
"It means shit, sorry, the Spanish slips out when I'm annoyed."
"Ah, he is really laying it on thick isn't he," Ron tutted, looking back at Draco.
"At least Hagrid didn't get fired," Harry shrugged, sifting through his pieces of parchment finding a blank one to start writing on.
"I heard Draco's father is furious," Hermione looked up from her frantic scribbling. "We haven't heard the end of this." She glanced around her four friends faces.
They fell into a comfortable silence, however, Harry found himself losing focus quite quickly with Estrella in front of him. "What was your old school like Estrella?"
The young witch immediately brighten up at the mention of Castelobruxo, "Oh it was beautiful! Our school was buried deep within the Amazon Rainforest in South America and by god was it the most luscious, thriving and deliciously warm place to live in."
"Wow," Harry couldn't even imagine something of the sort.
"So what? Did you just have lessons in the rainforest then? What even is that?" Ron asked.
Estrella delved deep into the lore of her school, telling them all about the fabulous golden castle, the vast grounds and the Caipora, the small furry spirit beings which are the most mischievous, that come out at night to watch over the students and creatures of the forest.
"They're honestly worse than Peeves and that is really saying something." Estrella held her stomach laughing as she recalled her Draco equivalent once being strung up to the vines by the Caipora and being left to swing back and forth for the entire morning. "It was only when Headmistress Dourado saw him gripping onto the spire that extended from her office that he was finally brought down!"
"I also remember them quite vividly helping me stay warm and feeding me ants when I found myself lost in the rainforest at the start of Second Year," She reminisced. "It was the most disgusting experience ever but I was so grateful to have them. They're incredibly loyal to those they see as their own you see," She stared out of the window behind Harry's head, her heart throbbing in longing. "I'm so lucky to have experienced that month with them."
"A month-?!" Isabella and Hermione exclaimed in tandem.
"How-"
"He's been sighted, he's been sighted!" Seamus came darting into the Great Hall with a copy of the Daily Prophet.
"Who?" Ron exclaimed.
"Sirius Black," He slammed the paper down in front of Bem, who's eyes trailed over the excerpt.
"Dufftown? God that's not far from here at all," Hermione exclaimed.
"Do you really think he'd come here, to Hogwarts?" Neville asked.
"Not with Dementors at every entrance," Isabella shook her head.
"He's already slipped past them once! Who's to say he can't do it again?" Seamus raked a hand through his hair in panic.
"He's right, Black could be anywhere." Estrella stared down at the picture of his sullen screaming face. "It's like trying to catch smoke. Trying to catch smoke with your bare hands." Her eyes trailed to the faraway look on Harry's face.
The booming bell rang out signalling their study period was over and it was officially the end of the school day. Estrella gathered her things, walking and and pulling on the back of Harry's robe and leading him outside.
"I'll see you in the common room," She called to Isabella. "We've got some things to talk about."
The two trudged on in silence until the reached the edge of the Black Lake where Estrella placed down her satchel and made her self comfortable on the ledge of a large rock. Harry dumped his bag at his feet, shrugging off his robe and picking up a couple of pebbles to start skiving on the water.
"Penny for your thoughts Potter?"
"He's after me," Harry started after a pregnant pause. "Black, he was an avid supporter of You-Know-Who and now he's broken out of Azkaban it's a matter of time before he finishes off what Voldemort started."
"You need to be prepared for the worst." She agreed. "My mother suspects Black had help escaping and if that's the case Harry we really don't know what were dealing with."
"We?" Harry turned around with a smirk on his face.
"Oh shut up," She blushed looking down at her swinging feet. She heard Harry's footsteps come closer until his shoes came into her vision. Estrella looked up, meeting his and blushed deeper as she locked eyes with him.
"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are," Harry spoke lowly. Estrella shook her head, biting her lip in nervousness.
Estrella rolled her eyes, "We're meant to be talking about you?"
"I'm not important, it's the same old stuff anyway." Harry shrugged, shaking his head slightly as he felt is hair tickling his forehead. "My question still stands Estrella," He nudged at her knee.
"Well...has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?" She countered back, blushing so hard she felt her face would melt off.
"A couple of times," He shrugged with a teasing smile. Estrella rolled her eyes, pushing his shoulder. Harry let himself stumble back a little before swiftly sitting down on the grass bed beneath her.
"I want to know everything about you," Harry stated, crossing his legs. Estrella jumped down, taking a few steps before mirroring Harry's position as she sat just out of reach. "Lets play 20 questions, it's a muggle game where we both ask each other 1 question till we reach 20."
"Okay," Estrella nodded. "I'll start, what's your full name?"
"Harry James Potter. Do you have a nickname I'm going to have to steal?"
"Mariposa. It means butterfly in Spanish." She winked. "Where did you grow up?"
"Little Whinging Surrey, dreadful place. Where did you?"
"Valencia, the capital of Carabobo state in Venezuela. Favourite food?"
"Treacle tart. What's your favourite subject?"
"Care of Magical Creatures. What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"An Auror, what about you?"
"Magizoologist, I want to be as great as Newt Scamander. How did you get your scar? I mean I know it has to do with my Black's after you."
"The night Voldemort murdered my parents, instead of killing me with them, he died instead and left me with this scar."
"You don't mean to say-?"
"Yes I survived the Killing Curse. The papers call me The Boy Who Lived."
"Wow. I have been living under a rock. I only started reading the news this summer." Estrella laughed looking at him in wonder.
"More like in one," He laughed alluding to Castelobruxo's appearance as a ruined mountain to muggles. "Next question, what is your favourite spell?"
Instead of saying she showed him. Being skilled in wandless magic, Estrella spoke Crinus Muto in her head and before Harry's eyes Estrella gave herself beach blonde hair plaited into 2 braids.
"How the bloody hell did you do that?" Harry exclaimed, eyes wide with wonder.
"Well at Castelobruxo we don't use wands so I can get away with a lot from inside here," She tapped at her cranium. She allowed her hair to get back to normal while giggled at Harry's stunned face.
"You have to teach me some stuff!" Harry exclaimed leaning forward and placing a hand on her knee.
"Only if you promise to help me work with a wand," She laughed. "Okay okay, next question!"
"My turn," Harry shouted, clapping and rubbing his hand together as he thought of a juicy one.
The two went back and forth, inching closer and closer until their knee's were almost touching and they could see nothing but each other. "Last question," Estrella's voice turned into a whsiper.
"Do you have a crush on anyone?"
Harry's pupils dialated before he boyishly smiled. "Maybe? Do you?"
"Maybe?" Estrella replied, her heart set on the boy in front of her. Pull or not, Harry had a hold on her she couldn't shake and if anything the last couple of hours revealed her heart was no longer hers to keep and instead belong to this green eyed wonder.
"I'll tell you if you tell me."
"Okay...It's you."
Harry gasped mockingly, "Really? Well isn't it crazy I just so happen to have a crush on you too."
Estrella giggled rolling her eyes, "What happened to trying to be friends?"
"Friends are overrated, I like you and you like me there's no denying. I don't know what it is I feel for you Estrella but bond or not, I am obsessed with you and I need you in my life. Have me in any which way you want but I swear if you even think about dating-"
Estrella covering Harry's lips with one finger, "I know Harry and I promise I won't." She watched as sparks of magic started to erupt from her finger, that familiar warm feeling filling her body again. She felt her arm start to lock in place, so much so that she felt she had to wrench her hand away to make it stop.
"I won't but we need to know what this is before we go any further."
"I know." Harry sighed, dazed by the rush of magic still coursing through his vessels and veins.
"I'll head to Library sometime soon and do some reading, I'll get the girls to help me too. For now tho we better head back, it's nearly dinner time and we're still in our robes."
"You're right Butterfly," Harry sighed standing up and holding his hands out for Estrella. She looked at him pointedly. "Right..sorry." He stepped back, brushing the leaves off of his trousers.
As they walked back to the castle they fell into a quiet chat, "You know the robes at Castelobruxo where bright green with yellow outlines. Disgusting."
"I NEED to see a picture," Harry barked out.
"I'll write to my mum and see if she can send back any." She giggled stopping as they reached their split. "I'm heading this way," She pointed to the dungeons.
"See you at dinner Butterfly," Harry smiled, messing up his already messy hair even further. The action made Estrella's heart beat out of her chest.
"See you at dinner Harry," She turned around and headed back before she made a mistake she didn't feel like regretting.

"Intriguing isn't it?" Professor Lupin's voice rang out from somewhere in the classroom. The 3rd Years of Slytherin and Gryffindor were staring at a cabinet that encased something so unsettled inside, it was trying to break free. Estrella stood with both her and Isabella's peering through Ron and Harry's shoulders to get a good look. "Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside?" Lupin walked around to the front of the cohort, his gaze drifting over all their faces.
"That's a boggart that is." Dean Thomas jerked his head towards the cabinet.
"Now can anybody tell me what a boggart...looks like?"
"Nobody knows," Hermione's voice rang out. All four of her friends faces whipped around looking at her incredulously, "When did you get here?" Ron asked, flabbergasted. Hermione side eyed the boy and continued speaking. "Boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the shape of whatever a person fears most, that's what makes them so-"
"So terrifying yes, yes, yes...Luckily," Lupin stood in front of the cabinet, seemingly nonchalant to the increasing rattling behind him. "There is a very simple charm one can use to repel a boggart."
"Without your wands, repeat after me. Riddikulus."
"Riddikulus." The 3rd Years chorused back to him. "Very good, just a little louder and very clear. After me, Ridikulus."
"Riddikulus."
"This class is ridiculous," Draco spat, glaring at everyone. Estrella heard this and rolled her eyes, looking back at Draco with a sneer.
"You're more than welcome to leave, I mean we wouldn't want little Draco to strain himself too hard and lose his arm." She pouted mockingly to which the boy rolled his eyes back at her.
Her friends snickered, "Good one Butterfly," Harry whispered holding his hand out behind him for a high five. Without thinking Estrella high fived him back, the electricity that shot up both their arms making them spasm.
"So much for the easy part. You see, the incantation alone is not enough. What really finishes a boggart is laughter. You need to force it to take the shape of what you find truly amusing. Let me explain...Neville will you join me please?" Neville inched forward, looking back at everyone with a helpless expression.
"Come on don't be shy, now tell me, what frightens you the most?" Neville mumbled something everyone struggled to catch.
"What was that?"
"Professor Snape," He spoke a bit louder, wincing at the laughter behind him.
"That is adorable," Isabella giggled, Estrella shushing her even though she couldn't contain her own laughter.
"Yes, well he frightens all. And you live with your grandmother?"
"Yes but I don't want that boggart to t turn into her either."
"No," Lupin took a glance back as if imagining that image himself. "I want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes very clearly in your mind."
"Well she's got a red handbag--"
"No need, as long as you see we will all see it," Lupin hushed him. "Now when I open that wadrobe I want you to-" He bent down and whispered something in Neville's ear that made him recoil in confusion.
"You can do it Neville," Lupin assured him, walking off to the side of the classroom leaning next to a record player and with a "Wand at the ready!" and a silent incantation of Alohamora did the cabinet door swing open.
Out stepped Snape, looking disgusted at his surroundings and when his eyes locked on Neville it took no second for him to make a couple menacing strides towards him. "Think Neville, think." Lupin urged him on and Neville snapped into action.
"Riddikulus!" In a flash, Snape clothes morphed into a emerald green two piece with a bright red handbag and hideous eagle hat with a cat scarf. The whole room stared in amazement before Estrella burst out howling with laughter.
"That...is...GOLD!" She wheezed, tears coming to her eyes with her uncontrollable laughter.
"Wonderful Neville! Now everyone form a line!" Lupin called and the 3rd Years all rushed to get into formation, pushing eachother back and forth. Estrella, still laughing, had to have both arms grasped by Hermione and Isabella to get her to move. "I want everyone to picture the thing they fear the very most and turn it into something..." Lupin placed the pin on the record player and a jaunty tune filled the room. "Funny!"
Ron started it off, walking towards the Snape and Neville Grandmother fusion with trepidition. The Boggart paused, assessing the boy before morphing into a giant spider. Ron squealed with horror, lifting his wand with a tremble.
"You've got this Ron!" Isabella shouted. "Face your fears!"
The spider stepped closer and closer, it's jaws snapping and saliva dripping from them. The image made Estrella queasy, so much so she hid behind Hermione's hair to block it.
"Wand at the ready, Ron." Lupin advised, his eyes darting between both the Boggart and the boy.
"Riddikulus!" Ron waved his wand and suddenly the spider has roller skates on all eight of it's legs, slipping and sliding all over the place.
"Excellent!" Lupin exclaimed admist his laughter, "Parvati you're up next!"
Parvati Patil stepped forward, her Boggart taking the shape of a snake. With a shout of the incantation the Boggart morphed into a Jack in the Box which to be honest, creeped Estrella out more than it did laugh.
"I hate anything to do with clowns and those circus things," She shuddered watching Hermione walk up. "They're horrid."
Hermione's Boggart was so....Hermione. Stood before her was Professor McGonagall thrusting an exam paper with a giant T circled on it. Peering closely, it seems Hermione's hair was getting larger and larger with the distress she was feeling. "Riddikulus!" She shrieked, obviously wanting the image to disappear.
"She may be the smartest but she is also so predictable," Harry leant forward whispering in Estrella's ear. "It's your turn, good luck!"
Estrella stepped forward, the Boggart of McGonnagall dressed as Professor Sprout studying her carefully. Her heart rate started to pick up, as she waited in bated breath for the Boggart to change shape.
What she saw confused not only her but Professor Lupin as well who stepped closer, raising an eyebrow in confusion. The image before them showed two holding hands with wisps of gold swirling around them and joining. The image seem to glitch, however, and the image that forced it's way to light was stomach churning.
Her lifeless body...pale dead eyes staring back at her with what looked like blood pouring from her eyes, nose, ears, mouth. Harry watched Estrella intently as she stuttered to get the spell out of her mouth, knowing exactly what those two hands mean. He rushed forward, grabbing her by her shoulders to pull her away.
The Boggart, sensing Harry was near, immediately morphed into a Dementor that swooped down low, taking it's chance to give the two of the a Kiss. "Here!" Lupin yelled, blocking them from the Dementor, which faded into a bright glowing orb, blinding the class so much so Estrella jas to cover her eyes. "Riddikulus!" The orb turned into a balloon that whizzed around the classroom as it deflated, it's path headed back down towards the cabinet that Lupin cast it inside, locking it away.
"I think that's all for today," He huffed. The class broke out in whispers and shouts of complaint. "Sorry! You can't have too much of a good thing." Lupin stared at the two, his facial expression a mixture of grim and relief.
As the cohort walked at, they all stared at Estrella and Harry with looks of confusion and annoyance. The young witch felt her shame and embarrassment run up her spine, her eyes burning with tears that started to stream down her face.
"I've got to go," She sniffled grabbing her bag and taking off out of the classroom ignoring the shouts of her name behind her. "I'll see you all at Lunch!"
