"SAM, I'M GONNA KILL MYSELF, if I hear another word about how annoying one of the boys is, I'm gonna purposely walk in front of a diesel," Adonis informs the new alpha threw the call, silently following the sign directions around the airport to get to his luggage.

Two-and-a-half-year-old Athena was sitting on his shoulders, laying her head on top of his, still tired from the long flight from Alaska to Washington. Looking at her makes Adonis almost cry every time he sees Athena grow because it pains him that she's growing up. She now has a full head of hair, but it was short and only went to her chin.

She looks a lot like her dad, but sure, as hell has her mother's sassiness and button nose. You'd think he'd hate seeing certain genes his ex gave to his daughter, but it actually made him smile triumphantly. While he got to see her grow up and live happily with her, Chloe was missing all of what could have been something so much more than a "shitty life."

"You said you wanted to hear about how the others were doing, I'm telling you!" Sam shouts back through the phone as Adonis scoffs, rolling his eyes playfully even though Sam can't see him.

"I could have told you the boys were gonna be annoying, you wanted to be an alpha, you asked for it," Adonis remarks with a smirk as he hears multiple objections from who he assumes are the few boys in the pack.

"They can't wait to meet you." Sam chuckles out, making Adonis smirk to himself.

"Oh well, of course, I'm awesome. Who doesn't want to meet the great and powerful werewolf kitsune hybrid!"

"You might as well fly back to Alaska because nobody thinks that." Sam retorts with a smirk as Adonis only scoffs.

"I thought you were my friend, you fucking furry!"

"You do realize you also turn into a wolf—"

"Give me to Emily, she's nicer," Adonis demands in a pout as Sam chuckles before passing the phone to his fiancée, Emily Young.

"Hi, Adonis."

"Ms. Luna, why are you with this guy? I mean — come on, there's so many better guys out there." Adonis smugly stated, already knowing Sam's rolling his eyes.

He's known Emily a little longer than Sam since his half-sister, Sue Clearwater, introduced them around the second time he visited, and they grew pretty close immediately. He was pretty much close to everyone since most of the younger teens looked up to him even though he was only a few years older than him. Maybe it was because he was stronger, faster than any other werewolf, and was a hybrid — alongside being a father too, it all made it seem like he was older than he was.

"What about you, Ada — when are you gonna get a girl?"

"And the conversation is ending now because I'm not discussing this. We were talking about you and your furry boyfriend." She only laughed, laughing with the pack at Sam as he glared at everyone.

"I'm gonna kill him." Adonis laughs, hearing Sam's muffled voice.

"Okay, I got to go though, I need to grab my and Thena's suitcases and then go look for Sue's car."

"Okay, bye, Ada — Love you, can't wait to see you and Athena!"

"Bye, love you too." He tells her before hanging up and sliding his phone in the pocket of his sweats.

"Daddy, are we there yet?" Athena asks in a small voice from sitting on his shoulders.

"Not yet, baby — your Auntie Sue is gonna pick us up."

"Auntie Sue?" She asks with a small head tilt as Adonis grabs their luggage. A few women stared at him lustfully as he carried Athena on his shoulders, a big black duffle bag on his right shoulder, his backpack on his back, and two rolling suitcases being pulled by each hand. His suitcase was a basic black one while Athena's smaller suitcase was brightly decorated with colorful hearts and flowers.

He didn't think much of the eyes watching him intensely when everything barely weighed anything altogether, and all he could think about was taking a nap.

"Yeah, remember that picture I showed you on the plane?" He asks her as he exits out of the airport, now waiting on a bench with his luggage close by him. She shook her head and said no as he lifted her and sat her beside him on the bench.

"She's pretty!" She exclaims with a toothy grin, kicking her dangling legs as she looks at the picture on her dad's phone.

It was a picture of Sue, Leah, and Seth, a recent picture Sue sent him — now two years older than the last time Adonis had seen them. She grabbed his phone before inspecting her aunt and cousins a little closer in the picture.

Adonis crossed his arms over his chest as cold air blew out of his mouth. He was only wearing gray sweatpants with a plain black sleeveless shirt that showed off his sleeve tattoos and a black beanie over his head. People looked at him like he was crazy since it was snowing, and it was only the beginning of December, but the cold never bothered him.

Athena, though, was dressed in a soft pink puffy jacket that made her look like she was waddling when she walked. She had gray sweatpants and a green sleeve under her coat with cute boots and white fluffy ear muffs. Her hair was in one high little ponytail that spiked her hair up on top of her head since her hair was so short.

"And those are your cousins, Leah and Seth," Adonis tells her, pointing at the tall girl and young boy in the picture.

"They're so pretty!" She cheered with giggles, looking at Leah, who was tall like her mom, with tan skin and long black hair. Seth was tall but was shorter than all of them with tan skin and semi-long black hair.

Adonis always encouraged Athena to speak her mind with whatever. So she's pretty outgoing and honest, which could be bad on some occasions.

"Now, Athena, since we're not home anymore, what do you do if you can't find dad or are alone and someone you don't recognize comes up to you, saying they need to take you somewhere because they're daddy's friend?"

"Strike, scream, run! Like Creed!" She exclaims, proud of her answer as he can't help but chuckle.

"I mean — I guess that works, but... We'll work on it." Adonis mutters as she giggles before looking at other pictures of Adonis's family on his phone.

"God, I'm so tired." He groans, throwing his head back and closing his eyes with his arms crossed over his chest as Athena leans against his side, looking at his phone in her small hands.

"And I'm almost there! I'm almost there," Athena softly sang her favorite Disney song, making Adonis quirk a smile. Adonis hummed the song beside her as she continued with a giggly laugh and brig

"ADA!" Adonis sat up, hearing his nickname from his family, and saw Seth with half his body out of the car window, waving maniacally at his uncle.

"Finally!" He shouts as Sue parks the car in front of him, quickly coming out of the driver's seat.

"Adonis, I've missed you so much!" Sue exclaims excitedly as Adonis grins and stands up to pull her into a hug.

"Is this Athena?!" She exclaims excitedly, pulling away from Adonis as Athena claps happily at the familiar woman.

"Auntie Sue!"

"She knows my name!" Sue shouts happily before picking up Athena.

"Uncle Ada is here!" Adonis commands as he sees Seth and Leah exit out of the cat.

"I'm not calling you Uncle. You're literally two years older than me." Leah informed her uncle as he only smirked before he pulled her into a hug.

"Ada!" Seth cheers, jumping into the hug.

"Geez, man, you're getting strong! How old are you now?"

"Fourteen!"

"Is that a hair I see?" Adonis asks with a smirk, poking Seth's upper lip.

"Wait, really?!" He exclaims excitedly as his uncle laughs while Leah rolls her eyes.

"No kid, you're more like a hairless cat right now — the facial hair usually goes to the woman—" Adonis teases, giving Leah a cheeky grin as she shoves his shoulder.

"At least I can grow one." She smirks, making him scoff playfully.

"She's so cute and tiny. How old is she?" Sue asks, holding Athena on her hip while she lays her head on her Aunt's shoulder.

"How old are you, baby?" Adonis asks Athena as she tilts her head in thought, while Adonis secretly holds up a peace sign for her to count.

"This many!" She exclaims excitedly, holding up two peace signs.

"She's two." Adonis chuckles before Athena goes into his arms, and they begin piling his things in the car.

"Hey, so I accidentally destroyed her car seat — so you're fine if I just hold Athena on my lap?"

"Adonis, how did you accidentally destroy her car seat?" Sue asks, crossing her arms over her chest as he gives her a cheeky grin and shrugs.

"He crumpled it," Athena whispers to Sue with her hands over her mouth.

"Adonis!"

"Come on, Thena, that was our secret!" Adonis pouts as Sue raises her eyebrow at him, making him sigh.

"Okay, fine, I couldn't figure out how to unbuckle the car seat from the car and rip it out before chucking it at a tree..." Seth and Leah laugh at him as their mother shakes her head at her brother. Athena couldn't help but help but burst into giggles as Sue pinched Adonis's arm.

"Ow!" He cries out in pain — for a werewolf and kitsune hybrid, you'd think he could endure a small pinch, but somehow Sue knew how to hurt certain nerves in even strong werewolves.

IT WAS THE 30TH OF DECEMBER, and Adonis shipped out all of his gifts to everyone in Forks early before he came but everyone else held on to theirs so he and Athena could get them all when he entered his new home.

"We'll grab the rest, you go inside with Athena." Sue pushed Adonis as he slung his backpack over his shoulder and grabbed Athena's small princess and the frog backpack.

"You ready to see your room? You'll get to decorate it any way you want!" Adonis expresses to his daughter as she holds on to his index finger, a little shy with her new unfamiliar surroundings.

"Will Steve share a bed with me?" She asks concerned, holding her stuffed animal pig close to her chest, making Adonis chuckle.

"Of course, Athena, all your stuffed animals will be with you."

"Even Mr. Cuddles? Stacy, Macy, and Timmy? Wolfy?!" She asks excitedly, almost jumping out of her shoes in excitement.

"Yes, of course, all of them will be here tomorrow or the next day." He reassures her as he opens the door slowly, realizing it is already unlocked — when it shouldn't be. With his senses heightened and guard now up, he drops the bags at the doorstep and picks up Athena protectively in his arms, hearing several different heartbeats. The house was suspiciously completely dark and he took a few warning steps in before all the lights flickered on.

"WELCOME HOME!"

"Holy shit!" Adonis screeches, his heart jumping out of his throat as a whole bunch of familiar people jump out from the dark shouting. A smile quickly spread on his face, seeing everyone as they cheered. Everyone was here, Billy Black with his son, Jacob, and two daughters, Rachel and Rebecca (who he didn't know well), Sam Uley, Emily Young, and alongside them were a bunch of teens. Adonis was even surprised to see that Charlie Swan and his daughter (whom he'd never met, only heard of stories from Charlie and Jacob) were here. Others of course that he sadly can't put names to but he smiles at everyone nonetheless.

"Oh my goodness, is this Athena?" Emily coos, as Athena digs her head into Adonis's shoulder since she is beginning to feel overwhelmed by the unfamiliar people surrounding her.

"Yeah, she's a little shy," Adonis remarks to her as he pulls Emily into a firm hug before pressing a small kiss on her temple to show how much he missed her.

"I'm so glad to see you again — it's almost been three years since the last time I saw you!" She exclaims as Sam comes up beside them with a wide grin and pulls Adonis into a big hug.

"Damn man, got any more tattoos?" Sam asks with a chuckle, directing towards the tattoos scattered on his arms as Adonis laughs before nodding towards Sam's pack tattoo on his shoulder. "What about you, huh? Anything other than that circle-looking tribal tattoo, alpha? Looks pretty boring."

"Ha, very funny." Sam scoffs as Leah walks in, coming towards Adonis and the engaged couple.

"I'll take Athena, you hang out with everyone."

"You sure? She's getting a little tired and I'm the only one that can put her to sleep." Adonis asks as Leah doesn't even spare a glance toward Sam and Emily while she nods and Adonis leans over to give Athena to Leah. Athena gladly goes into her arms, recognizing her face from the hour's drive they had together, and snuggles into her chest. As Leah walks away, Adonis wants to remark so badly about how tense and awkward the air is... Just to piss off Sam but decides against it.

When Adonis first found out about Sam leaving Leah for Emily, he was furious. But after he realized it was because he imprinted on Emily, it made him just feel bad for his niece but he'd never show her that pity because she hated it. Adonis did have a serious talk with Sam though... Mainly just strictly telling Sam to try and refrain from showing PDA with Emily around Leah, and knowing Sam still loved Leah — he obeyed and tried keeping a distance from her since he knew she needed space.

"Look at you, all dad now!"

"That's right, I'm a DILF!" Adonis exclaims excitedly as Seth runs into the house with a suitcase and a bright smile.

"Did you like the surprise?"

"Of course, I did! Never could be happier, thanks, Seth." Seth grinned proudly to himself, side-hugging Adonis before running off to talk to Jacob.

"So do you think he'll ever shift?" Adonis asks Sam and Emily before he looks at the kid talking to Jacob. "If so, gotta be in a few more years, right?"

"We're only guessing. His dad is hoping for it to be soon if it does happen." Jacob looked over at them, sending Adonis a small smile before shuddering a glare at Sam and turning back to listening in on the conversation his dad was having.

"Ha, he still hates you." Adonis teases with a smirk while the couple merely rolls their eyes.

"Sam just needs to stop being creepy and stalkerish because Jake thinks the whole werewolf thing is a weird secret cult," Emily states, bumping her hip with Sam's as he scoffs.

"I'm just watching over him carefully so he doesn't turn at the wrong time by himself!"

"You're a stalker furry — I thought I taught you better, Sammy. What a disappointment." Adonis remarks, a small smirk on his fake disapproving lips as Sam throws his head with a groan. Emily shakes her head with a laugh and walks away after kissing Adonis's cheek, leaving with Sam.

"Billy! I'm so happy to see you again!"

"You've gained some muscle since the last time I've seen you!" Billy Black exclaims after he shakes Adonis's hand with Jacob and Charlie Swan beside him.

"Thank you, kind sir. I guess you start to gain muscle when you start lifting heavy car parts," Adonis informs the older man with a boyish grin, looking down at his own tatted arms since he was wearing a sleeveless black shirt.

"We're happy for you to be back and finally getting to meet little Athena—"

"Or should we call her mini Doni?" Jacob quirks, making his father playfully scoff. "Let's pray to the ancestors that she isn't like him or else we'd call her mini devil spawn."

"Love you too, Pops." Adonis snickered before greeting Charlie, and the twins, Rebecca, and Rachel Black.

Billy Black isn't related to Adonis, but he was always there for the visits. And since Adonis's dad died before he got to know him, Billy stepped in as a father figure. Sue was always close to everyone here in Forks, practically raised with Billy as siblings. So as weird as it is, Sue almost reminds Adonis that not only is she his sister, but she's almost like another mother figure like his Aunt Caiji. And Billy was that father figure that he never had.

"Hey Char, is that the famous Bella you were talking about? Why does she look so... Sad?" Adonis asks, crossing his arms over his chest as he catches Bella staring at him curiously before she quickly looks away, turning her direction to the ground.

Charlie just sighs with a nod, cracking his knuckles with a small sad grin. "Yeah, that's her, but remember that boyfriend of hers? He broke up with her, left her in the middle of the woods, and his whole family moved to god knows where. And now she's been in this depression ever since he left. And I don't know what to do."

"Oh, um, what an asshole—"

"She was dating Edward Cullen." Adonis suddenly frowns as Jacob informs him of the information that he had forgotten about. He makes quick eye contact with Billy before shaking his head.

"The Cullens were never good people anyway. It's better now that they're gone, but I'm sorry to hear that, Charlie."

"It's okay, I'm thinking of having her move back with her mom. Maybe it'll be good to be away to a place that reminds her of him." Adonis nods in agreement before he notices Billy nudging Jacob with a teasing grin.

"Oh shoot, does little Jakey have a little crush on Ms. Swan?" He asks the younger teen as he shoots a glare at Adonis for how loud he said that.

"Shut up, Doni."

EVERYONE was finally leaving Adonis's house, so happy he and Athena were staying. His house was in Forks but right on the edge of La Push, so everyone either walked or drove home but not before giving Adonis a bunch of food to stock up his fridge... There was one thing you should know about Adonis. Since he's a hybrid of a spirit shifter wolf and a kitsune, he eats a bit more than a normal wolf shapeshifter... which is a massive appetite.

So everyone he knew made him a platter of food and got him kid snacks for Athena, even though he practically begged for people to not do so, they did anyway.

Now Sue and Leah were sorting out his kitchen while Seth was playing video games on Adonis's TV after he helped him set it up. Adonis was saying goodbye to Charlie and Bella Swan with Athena sleepily on his hip. Charlie finally gets to introduce the famous Bella to them since during the party, Charlie didn't want to force her into talking if she didn't want to.

"Bella, I'd like you to meet Athena, Adonis's daughter. He's Sue's brother and Seth and Leah Clearwater's Uncle."

"Uncle?" Bella asks, confused, already confused by how young he looks to also be a father to the young baby girl on his hip.

"Sue's my half-sister, same dad," Adonis said with a grin.

"Yeah, he's gonna start working with Jacob for his dad's auto repair shop."

"Yeah, gotta get that money somewhere, am I right?"

"Hey, um, if you ever need help with finding someone to watch Athena... I can always help out with watching her." Charlie looked at Bella, surprised before grinning as she smiled up at Adonis.

"That'll be awesome. Thank you so much."

"Yeah, of course," Bella states, forming a small smile at the young adult. It was weird. He gave off the same vibes as the other boys from La Push that followed Sam. But this was slightly. He stood tall himself, showing that he was far from letting Sam boss him around like he was a lost puppy. He was different, like the Cullens and the weird cult thing Sam weirdly has. And she was determined to find out.

"Well, we better be off — you have my number, text whenever you need anything, and you should have dinner with us sometime."

"Charlie, last time you cooked, you almost burned down Billy's kitchen." Sue laughed, stopping beside Adonis, who smirked slightly as Charlie's heart started beating faster, and cheeks went flush at the sight of Sue.

"That's why there's such thing as a diner."

"Oh, of course," Sue remarked sarcastically with a grin before going off to hang out with Athena.

"A married woman, never thought, Charlie—" His eyes widened in embarrassment as Adonis only smirked.

"You shut your mouth, I'm a cop, remember?" Adonis teasingly raised his arms in surrender as Charlie began walking to his car where Bella was waiting. "Yeah, yeah."

Adonis chuckled, closing his door behind him and plopping in the seat beside Seth. Seth begins telling him about the game he bought on his TV as Sue sits beside him with little Athena. Harry Clearwater was supposed to come to the party, but he was out working late. He wished he could have come, but it was sadly too important to step away from. But Adonis was hoping you see his brother-in-law soon so he could introduce him to Athena.

Little did Adonis know... Alice Cullen, the seeing into the future vampire — was getting a vision at this very second.
