AFTER SEPARATING FROM THE WEASLEY FAMILY, Clover, Cedric, Hugo, and Amos made their way through a small patch of forest before reaching a field which was decorated with thousands of tents and twice as many people. They made their way slowly through the rows, staring eagerly around at the vast amount of wizards as upbeat music and laughter rang out all around them. In the distance, you could see the stadium they'd built for the event and although it was barely visible, Clover could only assume that it was impressive.
"Alright kids, this is it!" Amos cheerfully gestured, pointing to a small, assembled tent beside a small sign hammered into the ground that read DIGGORY. The man ducked under the tent flaps, leaving Clover sceptical about the size. How would four people possibly even fit inside a tent so cramped?
Her question was quickly answered as soon as she poked her head through the entrance. Clover's mouth dropped open as she entered the tent. She had walked into what looked like a three-room flat, complete with bathroom and kitchen, not to mention it was fully furnished with items from a scarlet couch to a threadbare rug.
She felt a hand on her shoulder, pushing her forward slightly, it was only then the girl realised that she was still standing in the entrance of the tent completely gobsmacked. Clover looked back to see a grin plastered across Hugo's face as he steered her ahead, allowing for Cedric to enter the tent. The girl feverishly walked around, craning her neck as she peeped around another tent flap which seemed to hide a small room with a bunk bed inside of it.
"Ah, I see that Clover's already found where Cedric and Hugo will be sleeping!" Amos boomed heartedly, causing Clover to whip her head around to face the man who was now standing in the centre of the large tent. "Clover, you're sleeping in the other room, now don't be shy, make yourselves at home and I'll be back in a small while."
The three watched as the man disappeared out of sight, Clover turned around to face the boys with a gleeful smirk while Cedric groaned loudly.
"I can't believe I'm stuck bunking with you!" Cedric moaned, his arms dropping to his side in defeat.
"Hey!" Hugo replied defensively, "What's wrong with me?"
"You snore, and I get enough of that during school, but now I have to suffer during the summer?!"
"I don't snore, take it back!"
"Calm down, both of you." Clover laughed, "Ced, I'm sorry you're stuck with Hugo, and Hugo, I'm sorry, but you do snore."
"HAH!" Cedric exclaimed, pointing a finger at the other boy.
"Whatever..." Hugo grumbled, rolling his eyes. He looked up, catching a look from his two friends and without another word, the three fell into unprovoked laughter, filling the tent with their joy.

"C'MON SHE TOLD ME HER TENT IS JUST OVER THE SOUTH FIELD!" Hugo called back, as he ran ahead of Clover and Cedric as they weaved through the crowds. The three had just managed to settle down in the tent when Hugo had jumped out of his seat and let out a large shriek before running towards his backpack and pulling out a letter. He'd explained quickly to his two startled friends that Juliette had sent him a letter before he arrived at the Diggory household, telling him where her family's tent was located.
"Slow down!" Clover yelled, as the boy practically skipped through the masses of people littering the fields. Despite the large crowds, The girl couldn't deny the beauty of it all. People of different cultures, different preferences, differences in general, had all gathered to watch the World Cup in support of the two teams playing and there was something so magical about it. Cedric swiftly pulled the daydreaming girl backwards as a man in stilts suddenly stepped forward right in the spot Clover would've been in if she hadn't been moved.
Cedric laughed at the girl's solemn expression as the man passed, pushing her forwards so they could catch up with Hugo. The two looked directly ahead only to see Hugo tackling an unsuspecting girl to the ground. Cedric and Clover were quick to sprint over as the girl struggled to break away from Hugo's tight grasp.
"Get your fat arse off me!" The girl shrieked, hitting the boy repeatedly as he continued to hold her.
"Admit it...YOU LOVE ME JULES!" Hugo cried while Cedric attempted to pull the boy off of a struggling Juliette Garrows. After several minutes of trying to pry Hugo away, Cedric finally succeeded, allowing Juliette to push herself out of the grass and to brush herself off.
"You prick!" She hissed, hitting Hugo over the head, causing him to wince but chuckle at her reaction.
"Lighten up, Jules, you know you missed me." Hugo retorted, rubbing his head as the girl huffed.
"She missed me more!" Clover interjected with a grin. "Didn't you?!"
"No, I hate all of you." Juliette scoffed with a deadpan expression but she couldn't help but let a smile creep its way across her face. "Oh for Merlin's sake, c'mere." Clover and Cedric embraced the girl in a tight hug, sending her stumbling back under the weight.
And so the four friends reunited once again for the first time since July as they embarked on their very last adventure of the summer.

"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS?" HUGO SCREECHED as Juliette scoffed loudly. "How did you, of all people, manage to get a girlfriend?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" The girl replied, her eyes narrowing as she looked towards him. The four friends had ended up back in the Diggory tent, sitting on the couch and the tent floor after a very successful kitchen raid.
Kitchen raiding was something the four tended to do a lot. It became a tradition of sorts in their second year and seemed to withstand their years at Hogwarts. It consisted of tearing apart whatever kitchen they were nearest to in search of food, alcohol, or any goods at all and once they'd secured said goods, they usually wound up talking and falling into deep conversations.
"What I mean is," Hugo began, stretching his arms out from where he lay on the couch, his head in Cedric's lap. "You're a little bit of a bitch- hey, don't give me that look! You can't deny it!"
"And you wonder why she says she doesn't like you, Hugh." Cedric retorted, rolling his eyes while Clover placed a hand on Juliette's shoulder, holding her back.
"What's she like?" Clover asked, diverting the conversation as she leaned her head in her hand.
"She's not like us, uh... she's a muggle, I mean. Her name is Anna, she lives a few houses down from mine and she's...she's amazing really."
"Do your parents know?" Cedric questioned causing Juliette to go silent for a few moments.
"Of course not, they still think I sneak off to snog the wizard boys down the street." The girl answered, "Besides, it's not like they'd ever actually understand."
"You never know." Clover replied with a weak smile, "Also, she sounds great, Jules."
"Ced?" Hugo suddenly spoke up, looking up with furrowed brows as if he'd gotten bored of the previous conversation and had been struck with a sudden thought. "Has your dad brought firewhiskey by any chance?"
"'m not sure, but I bet if Ireland wins, he'll find a way to get some."
Hugo's lips stretched out into a mischievous grin. The boy was infamous for sneaking alcohol into Hogwarts for parties as well as occasionally hooking up people with weed, but that would have to be a story for another time.
"Good!" Hugo stated, "So, that's it then, If Ireland wins, we get hammered, deal?"
"For once I agree with him." Juliette huffed, lazily pointing her finger in the boy's direction. "I don't think I can last the rest of the night with my cousins while sober."
"What happens if Bulgaria wins?" Clover questioned, tilting her head with raised brows.
"Oh shut it, you pessimist!" Hugo groaned, throwing his arms up in the air, only for them to come into contact with Cedric's face.
"OW!" Cedric exclaimed, clutching his face, "You prick!"
"Now, now, Ced." Amos interrupted as he entered the tent causing all four teenagers to face him. "Watch your language."
"Yeah, Ced," Hugo smirked, "Watch your language." Cedric gritted his teeth while he glared down at the boy.
"Ced, Clover, Hugo, dinner's going to be soon." Amos stated, before turning his head towards the other girl. "Juliette, you're welcome to stay if you would like."
"Nah, it's alright." The girl replied, pushing herself off the ground. "I should probably go back to my family anyway, thanks though." Amos nodded and disappeared off into the kitchen section of the tent, causing all four of the teens to freeze in horror, knowing just how big the mess they left was.
"Well, I'm going to go..." Juliette began, rushing towards the tent's entrance. "See you later." Clover watched in terror as the girl fled the tent while Amos huffed loudly from the kitchen. The man angrily made his way back out to the main area of the tent where he found Cedric, Clover, and Hugo staring innocently up at him.
"Now, who would like to explain why there's bread stuck to the ceiling?"
"We wanted to make toast?" Cedric answered sheepishly, scratching his head. Amos closed his eyes and took a breath in before slowly letting it out.
"I'm going to go outside for ten minutes, and when I get back, I expect no bread on the ceiling." The man told them, noticing the three teenagers holding back smiles. "Understand, Ced?"
"Yessir." Cedric nodded in response while Amos stepped outside the tent. As soon as they were in the clear, Hugo turned to face Cedric.
"'Yessir'..? What are you? 12?"
"Shut up, Hugo."

AS THE SUN BEGAN TO SET OVER THE FIELDS OF DEVON, a deep, booming gong rang out while green and red lanterns blazed into life, lighting a path to the Quidditch stadium. Clover, Cedric, and Hugo had all jumped to their feet in delight at the sound, knowing that it was almost time for the match. Amos had to practically hold the three back to prevent them from happily skipping off into the crowds.
Clover could hear the sounds of thousands upon thousands of people moving around them, singing, laughing, and shouting out of pure excitement. The entire atmosphere exuded a feverish feeling of elation which was in no doubt highly infectious. The girl was bouncing in an animated fashion, her arms draped over Hugo and Cedric's shoulders. The three were decked out in green accessories and clothing in support of the Irish, so while they received many glares from Bulgaria supporters, they were greeted with smiles by those who adorned similar green merchandise.
They walked through the fields for roughly twenty minutes, jokingly singing and laughing loudly, until at last, they stood in the shadow of the ginormous stadium. Clover couldn't help but gawp at the sight of the stadium ahead. It must've been at least ten times the height of Hogwarts and at least twice the width.
"C'mon kids, the match won't wait for us." Amos chuckled while the three teens gaped in awe. Clover, Cedric, and Hugo followed Amos into the giant arena. The stairs into the stadium were adorned with rich purple carpeting. The four climbed upward with the rest of the crowds, as they were slowly filtered through doors and into the various stands. Amos showed a wizard their tickets and they were soon pointed in the direction of their seats. Clover trailed behind Amos with Cedric and Hugo as they made their up through the stadium. Amos soon stopped near enough to the top as he glanced at the tickets he clutched.
"Alright, we should be just in front here...AHA, there we go!" The man exclaimed, pointing at four empty seats close to the barrier. Clover's eyes widened as she took her seat, the view was simply spectacular. You could see the many witches and wizards below them take their seats as a golden light lit up the stadium. The field looked well kept and smooth from their view and the two sets of three hoops at either end of the field stood tall and firm. Clover almost pitied those who had to sit further down a few levels merely because they wouldn't be having the same unforgettable experience she was having right now.
The golden lights seemed to grow and the voices of those around her seemed to grow as someone cleared their throat whilst using an amplifying charm. Cedric clutched Clover's arm in excitement as Hugo almost fell out of his seat from the suspense, and finally, the time arrived, the time Clover had been waiting for all Summer.
"Ladies and gentlemen. . . welcome! Welcome to the final of the four hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup!"
