Cecelia is a young woman who is said to be very attractive, she is of average height, being shorter than Ella, Leraunt and Shinsei.

Cecelia has sharp facial features and waist-length straight line green hair, which she keeps loose most of the time during the story line but she often ties it up in simple styles when she is at school, during combat training or basic hero training, which she ties in high or low ponytails, braids and buns. She has sharp siren shaped golden eyes, she often wears makeup that is simple and natural looking.

Underneath her clothes, Cecelia has a scar underneath her left breast she developed when she was twelve years old after her stepfather attacked her and she fought back, ending up with her scar in the end.

During the events of Season One and further as her life as a student in U.A., Cecelia wears the standard U.A. girls uniform which consists of the usual white long or short sleeved button-up white shirt, a grey blazer jacket with blue-green stripes and a red tie with a dark blue-green pleated skirt with a small golden button on her tie. For her uniform, she often adds black leggings or black stockings and instead of the brown loafers, she wears white, black or green sneakers for her usual go-to for school (or sometimes she wears black sneakers as well of high fashion brands).

For her hair, Cecelia often styles it in various ways, but she mainly keeps it in half up or half down styles or low pigtails or she sometimes keeps her hair in high or low braided hairstyles. She wears little to no makeup on school days, she only puts them on to hide bruises on her face or body if she hasn't gotten into a physical brawn with someone, she also keeps her nails plain and bare during school days.

For decoration, Cecelia sometimes wears a small piece of jewelry gifted by Leraunt or his siblings or she bought for herself, but she makes sure that it isn't noticeable and often takes it off when there's P.E. or Hero Training.

During the events of Season One and further as her life as a student in U.A. during physical education, the sports festival and other events, Cecelia wears the standard U.A. P.E. which consists of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and a dark blue short sleeve shirt with white lines that form the letters 'U' and 'A' and for the winter variation of the gym uniform the long-sleeved shirt with a higher color. Underneath her uniform, she either wears a plain white or plain black tank top, short or long sleeved crop top underneath during winter or colder weather and she wears black or white sneakers as well.

For her hair, she will often keep her hair in simple styles such as low or high ponytails, braids or buns when she really needs her hair out of the way.

She often keeps a bottle of water for herself and often mints as well as she likes to chew them after doing a big amount of physical workouts and exercise for long periods of time.

🌷𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐄:🌷

Cecelia's hero consists of a one piece black body suit with a halter top and long sleeves with open shoulders, she swears black baggy pants over it to help with movement and stretching when she accelerates her strength, speed and other physical capabilities. Over her halter top part of the costume she has a white top piece with the top reaching below her shoulders and reaches to her elbows, she wears a skirt flowing piece that connects to her body with a belt around her waist. She wears which combat boots with black accents and black laces.

For her hair, she keeps it in a half up half down style but she often ties into a ponytail or braid when she's in combat or in a dangerous situation so she can keep it out of her way.

For equipment, Cecelia wears black gloves that only cover her middle and index finger which can concentrate her accelerating quirk in her body so she doesn't have her quirk accelerating the wrong physical abilities, she has a mask for poisonous gases and any quirk that can generate airborne attacks, she has a mask for herself and other civilians and heroes who can't deflect these kinds of attacks, she also carries a simple backpack of a different variety of weapons for herself and her friends if they need one.

𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐋:

For normal days and casual outfits, Cecelia's style, she wears her usual styles of witchcore, baddie, dark and light academia and more. She often wears a variety of dresses, pants, skirts, tops with sweaters, cardigans and more and she wears often black and white or other colors such as green, gold and more. She also wears accessories and jewelry that suits her outfits.

𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐋:

All formal events are categorized differently in each of her different styles depending on the events that is attending:

If she is with her friends going out to a fun place tonight to dance and party, she will wear her usual colors but she will make her outfit more fun and will add more spice to them.

𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘋𝘈𝘛𝘌𝘚:

For dates with Leraunt Vaillant, depending on the time of the day, season and theme of the date, she will wear her cute dresses and outfits but will style herself fancier with her appearance, her hairstyles, her makeup, her outfits, her shoes and will wear jewelry that Leraunt had gifted her.

𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘔𝘈𝘓 𝘌𝘝𝘌𝘕𝘛𝘚:

For formal events, Cecelia will wear more formal attire and formal version of her outfits, she will wear one of her dresses or other fancy and elegant outfits depending on the event but will still add bits and pieces of her authentic style such as her jewelry, accessories, hairstyles and more. She will also style her hair in more formal and elegant styles and wear jewelry and accessories to match her outfits.

𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘉𝘈𝘓𝘓𝘚/𝘍𝘈𝘕𝘊𝘠 𝘗𝘈𝘙𝘛𝘐𝘌𝘚:

For formal events, such as fancy parties and balls, celebrations and such, Cecelia will wear much longer formal dresses and will make herself appear more fancy, elegant and regal, as well as wearing jewelry and accessories that will add to the look with hairstyles that have ribbons and beautiful hair accessories and makeup that makes her face shine and compliment her features.

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆:

In combat training with Cassandra, her childhood friends, Shinsei or at school with her friends, teachers or mentors for hero training, Cecelia wears more athletic clothes that are stretchy, durable and comfortable such as loose tank tops, crop tops, sports bra's and shorts, she will add leggings, sweat pants or comfortable pants and hoodies when it's cold with athletic sneakers, with her usual color range of black, white, green, gold and the other colors she wears with.

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄:

On her days off where she is able to take it easy, whether it's at home or in the dorms, Cecelia doesn't wear outfits too fancy or wears the lazier version of her outfits such as one of Leraunt's or her own hoodies or t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings, comfortable clothes bring in her usual color range with comfortable shoes.

𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄:

During the nighttime, Cecelia wears comfortable sleepwear and pajamas being either a matching set of pajamas or she will wear Leraunt's pajamas, t-shirts or hoodies to sleep.

For jewelry, Cecelia has a variety of styles, colors and assortments. She wears gold or silver chained necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings with golden, green, yellow or pink pendants and decorations with spikes, cats or witch themed little charms.

Throughout most of the series, Cecelia expressed little in the way of emotion, behaving apathetically towards most, she can be hard to be distinguished due to her silent, mysterious and apathetic nature. She is quickly to most to be viewed as stubborn and headstrong, as well as possessing high standards, which Leraunt often takes note and teases her about from time to time. Ironically, she claims to hate stubbornness, despite being quite stubborn herself. For the most part, she was a level-headed, strong-willed, and independent woman. Cecelia normally maintains a controlled, almost emotionless persona to keep whatever she was thinking a secret unless she was around people she absolutely trusts. She's shown to be pragmatic, focused often on getting what she wants, showing she can be selfish at times. She's also shown to be isolated just like Leraunt, preferring to act alone to solve personal matters and being quite snarky and dismissive towards most people. Cecelia can also be very secretive, to the point of being on par with others, especially her classmates or sometimes even Leraunt and his siblings at times, albeit much less coordinated at times.

Although, despite her icy demeanor to most in the beginning, Cecelia appears to be something of a philosopher and takes interest in others and her own meaning and purpose of life. She muses about human nature and conflict, as well the meaning about quirks in this superhuman society, superheroes and supervillains as well, seeing human history as a long line of struggle, this belief being deepened by her own and her boyfriend and siblings life experiences. Cecelia, despite not living by it, used to see the idea of "Survival Of The Fittest" which Leraunt's father, Chandler Ziegenbein lived by, as a simple enough way to follow life.

Over time in her early teenage years, she's revealed to hold a strong belief in the idea that life requires purpose and focus in order to be called life. She comes to understand others more and they come to understand her too for their reason of living as well, however Cecelia due to events that have happened to her and the ones she cared about in the past, she has a cynical side to herself and the nature of life itself. She came to see death as the definitive proof of life itself, as it shows that life can come to an end. She believes that without death, life cannot be called "life", but rather, it is merely experience, an accumulation of memories and actions. Additionally, she sees the events of accumulation to be "worthless illusions".

Nonetheless, Cecelia also possesses some positive thoughts on life as well. One recurring topic she comes to discuss with Leraunt and even others is the nature of love. In her childhood after enduring her trauma, her greatest desire was to find genuine love and kindness from others, which is what she found when she was taken in by Leraunt and his mother when they met her. Though, she is cautious about the idea of friendship love with others due to her own, Leraunt and his siblings past and experiences, she sees sees love without limit to not be love at all, and she distances herself from others in order to avoid feeling pain as all those who had genuinely loved had nearly faded from her life.

Thought she is a very serious hero in training, Cecelia is by no means stuffy and has a sarcastic sense of humor, which mostly surfaces when is with those close to her and she is comfortable around, such as Leraunt, Ella Le Beau and their siblings and Shinsei Kiryu. Concurrently, C.C. is also shown to, in rare cases, show sympathy towards others she relates to. She sympathizes with Lelouch's insistence on pursuing purpose in life, Mao's desire for love and acceptance, and Suzaku's desire for death, as all of these are traits she shares. More notably, Cecelia shows many times that she is genuinely kind person, but it's hidden under the surface of her icy demeanor. She shows this in allowing Leraunt, Ella, Shinsei and those she is close to confide in her and actively listens to their thoughts and concerns, showing even empathy to those who have been through similar situations that she had gone through. She shows something of a more playful side towards her friends that she stays with and those who become her friends later, showing she loves to tease her friends multiple times and even loves to tease Leraunt about his flaws with him responding in kind. She's also shown to be somewhat more positive around Ella and Noelle, seeing both girls as being genuinely kind individuals.

On a more serious level, she shows open respect to those who meet her high standards, whether it is strength and convictions, friendship, mental strength and fortitude and such, she works with them rather easily as she knows she can trust them in grim situations. Cecelia also demonstrates a strong sense of loyalty as well, being one of the few people to remain by Cassandra as she moved away from Britain to Japan and even defending Leraunt from Shinsei when he bullied the boy, even when Shinsei and her became friends, she helped him out when he needed it the most, showing genuine respect to them. Cecelia is very intelligent, as shown how she can come up with strategies and can even fool others when she needs too and is capable of convincing others with an act of being scared, willing to surrender, etc.

Cecelia is very close to Leraunt and Ella's family with the siblings she escaped with, especially Noelle and Rolland. Cecelia is genuinely affectionate to the siblings, especially her own boyfriend, Leraunt Vaillant as shown many times in the series with her actions of how she loved him and he showed them in return as well. As one of Leraunt and the siblings oldest and closest friends, Cecelia knows all of them better than most and they know her the same way as well and they were always there for each other, whether either of them knew it or needed it. Though outsiders would view her as a degrading girlfriend or lackey, Leraunt himself appreciated her dedication and how long she took out with him when compared to everyone else and trusted her enough with his past and his dreams and desires, however sometimes their personalities can collide and it can drive her away with sometimes his arrogance, overconfidence and extreme stubbornness as well.

Cecelia is very brave and courageous, but although she was more than willing to rush into deadly battle and other unnerving missions for herself and her friends, she's not always completely fearless, as she can show fear in very few situations and missions. While tough and at times ruthless, she was still a good person and can be quite heroic in her own right. These qualities are usually brought out by her classmates and fellow pro heroes in training on missions, and no matter how injured she was in battle and how long it would take for her quirk to regenerate her body, Cecelia will go out her way to make sure bystanders are out of harm's way and risking her life to make sure innocent people are not in harms way. Despite her somewhat selfish personality, Cecelia can self sacrificing and selfless to those who truly need it. Her close loyalty to the siblings and Shinsei Kiryu is shown many times throughout the series, as she is willing to do anything for them and as a result of her childhood, she considered them and even Class 1-A later on her family, being desperate to keep them alive when the war hit Masutafu.

In her childhood, she was shown to be a quite girl as she still is now but she was much kinder and more positive about life, despite how her mother barely talked to her or acknowledged her she was loyal to her and wanted her approval. However, when her mother remarried and her stepfather sexually abused her and she tried to tell her mother, she was angered and saddened when her mother slapped and berated her out of jealousy instead, which twisted Cecelia's view of the world even more. She ran away from home after fighting back against her stepfather and was homeless for sometime before being found by Leraunt and his mother, Mariah Vaillant and taken to their home after seeing her in her bad shape and in a distressed state. After being taken in by the family, Cecelia was very wary of everyone around her, especially the men and the older brothers of the family due to her trauma but she seemed particularly glued to Mariah and her son Leraunt and his little sister Noelle, she became more playful and happy as the days went by and she learnt how to trust them.

However, being in a situation of a loveless home, Cecelia was starting to see signs of Chandler's abuse towards his own children, especially Leraunt, Ella and many others however she did not really say anything out of fear but was always there for them when they needed a friend. After taking a test on one of Chandler's experiments to strengthen her quirks, a curious Cecelia took her chance as she wanted to become stronger and with this experiment, she is able to physically enhance her strength, speed and other physical capabilities. With this, Chandler wanted Cecelia to join in his line of experiments but she refused and when she did so after Leraunt lost his mother and he showed no care towards the issue, it saved her life as Cassandra had finally figured out her escape plan and Cecelia joined in without hesitation.

Because of this, Cecelia finally understood Chandler's selfishness and how it impacted his children that escaped and what could've happened to her if she stayed, she had shown to feel remorseful and regretful of her actions as she never stood up for the siblings in the past but is willing to do it now to make up for her past actions. She had shown (despite denying it) to have fallen in love with Leraunt during the early years after they moved and after Cecelia was there for him during his lowest, he felt the same as well and they got together during their second year of middle school. Despite their relationship being difficult at times, they genuinely love each other and do their best to make it work for each other and themselves. She shows to hold no connection to her old name "Maeve Walsh" and has quoted that she "wants to keep it buried forever, as I'm not that little girl anymore".

Cecelia, was born as Maeve Walsh and lived for a majority of her childhood lived almost a relatively normal childhood as she lived with her single mother, Katherine Walsh. Her biological father Nicolas Grant had left their family when she barely reached a year old, only leaving them money from his profession as a doctor (or that's what she at least knew from her mother) and Katherine barely talked to her own daughter most of the time, however Cecelia didn't always mind it. She always loved her mother, she watched how she worked tirelessly most nights to support the both of them but even though she was greeted with harsh complaints from her mother to be quiet or was just plain out ignored, she still loved her mother and wanted to be a part of her life. Katherine worked as a model for clothes, nails and jewelry but she wasn't a big name due to her age but due to her quirk immunity that retained her youth, she was very beautiful and was kept in her job because of it, but even without her quirk Cecelia still thought of her as the most beautiful woman in this world.

As her childhood was silent, Cecelia started to pick up on reading as she started to read books most kids her age could not read at the time at the age of five, she was truly an intelligent child but her own mother still didn't acknowledge her, no praise or disparages, just plain ignorance and still focused on her career. Cecelia didn't give up though, she still wanted her mother to love and acknowledge her, but everything changed for worse when her mother remarried another man on a whim and brought him one day, Lawrence Carnell, when she was six years old.

A child and the first day she met him, Cecelia never liked him as she had a horrible feeling about him and often tried to warn her mother, yet Katherine ignored her and sometimes berated her own daughter to be quiet, so eventually Cecelia fell quiet because she thought she was being a stupid child with irrational fears, everything was normal until her fears came true. Lawrence started to become physically closer to Cecelia, often trying to talk to her and get closer to her but as she felt uneasy about him she tried to warm up to him for the sake of her mother. This eventually was the start of her stepfathers molestation within six months time after she turned seven, as he started to physically touch her more, then started to sexually assault her as time passed by.

After dealing with more than a month of her new stepfathers sexual abuse, she tried to tell her mother one day when she was off work and her stepfather was gone for the day (as he worked as a house husband), as she eventually gathered the courage to tell her mother of what she endured from her new husband, all that she was met with was a slap on the face and was called a liar and her mother continued to berate her out of jealousy, saying how she never loved her own daughter and wishing how she disappeared and that if she died then she would be happy. Hearing those words crushed Cecelia's world, breaking her heart as she realized how much her mother never truly loved her, the abuse and the trauma forever left a scar on Cecelia's heart and mind.

The abuse continued more and it gradually got worse every time, this left Cecelia very angry and eventually one night when he asked her to fully undress for him, she finally stood up to her abusive stepfather and snapped at him, running out of the house that she once called him. Realizing what happened and what she had done, Cecelia felt nothing but pain and anguish for a very long time, with nowhere to go and having only herself to survive on the streets for a few months. During one time when she was trying to steal food, she discovered her quirk when she was attacked by a vendor and she was badly injured, eventually she saw how fast her injuries healed quicker than the average person, she even realized how she barely even got sick in her childhood.

One day on the streets of London, a younger Lucian (now known as Leraunt) and his younger sister Leonora (now known as Noelle) were walking the streets with their mother Mariah Vaillant, a young Cecelia was trying to steal food while they were eating lunch and seeing how the little girl was being attacked by the vendor for stealing, Leraunt stepped in without hesitation to stop the vendor from attacking her. This act of kindness had shocked Cecelia genuinely, being surprised that someone was acknowledging her and even helping her, Mariah seeing the scene decided to pay for the food that Cecelia stole and tried to talk to her but despite getting no answers in return, they took the little girl home as they noticed how much distress she was in.

As Cecelia was taken into the family, she started to grow into the family environment as the siblings and some of the mothers also treated her with kindness, she started to speak more and started to come out of her shell and grew the closest to Leraunt as they both loved to read and they were both geniuses for their age. She even started to speak about her experience of what happened in her own family to Leraunt and Mariah, what happened and why she ran away and how she ended up on the streets to him and his family. While she expected to be called a liar and to be her hurt by them like her mother did, Leraunt and his mother believed her and they loved her unconditionally which really surprised her.

However as time passed, Cecelia started to see the signs of the abuse of Leraunt's father was starting to impact him and some of his siblings, she held a bad feeling about Chandler Ziegenbein and this time she trusted herself as he tried to lure her to his lab but every time she ran away and refused him straight up. As things got worse in the household, Leraunt's and Leonora's mother Mariah Vaillant was killed and Cassandra had planned for their escape. As the aftermath of the event started, Cecelia was there for Leraunt almost every step of the way and helped him through everything just like how he helped her, even defending him from Shinsei's bullying after the siblings moved into the Kiryu household after they were all discharged from the hospital.

As time passed, Cecelia and Leraunt friendship started to develop into an undeniable connection which started to turn into romantic feelings, while she also grew closer to Noelle, Rolland, Ella and Cassandra. These feelings started to show when they were in middle school and throughout their first and second years they never confessed until the beginning of their third year and became a couple, however it did take sometime for them to truly work on their faults but they made it work together. In her third year of middle school alongside Shinsei Kiryu, Cecelia got into the U.A. Hero Course Regular Entrance Exam to start her dreams of becoming hero like the ones she has read in books.

Regeneration was the first quirk that Cecelia inherited, giving her a regenerative healing factor, meaning that she can automatically and rapidly heal and regenerate from any physical, spiritual  and sometimes mental damage, attacks, harm and injuries she takes and is restored to her optimal and full health/state within an hour or more, depending on the injury and damage she has taken. Her Regeneration Quirk is a process that often happens unconsciously, however if she wishes to heal at a faster pace then she must concentrate her energy into it but it can deplete her stamina and drain her energy.

Her Quirk in regeneration is more efficient, seamless and powerful as time goes by, being able to regenerate without depleting stamina and energy and is even able to heal in a shorter amount of time and an hour at most as time goes on in the series. It is shown that Cecelia can recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, it is even theorized that she can slow aging just like her mother did. She can even regrow missing limbs, however if she wants it to work faster she must place the limb back in the place for rapid regeneration or she must allow her body to take at least a week for her arm to fully regenerate (depending on the limb that she lost). However for this quirk to fully work, she must be in a very good physical shape, as her body is constantly reverting to a healthy state, granting them nigh-inexhaustible stamina and vitality.

The regeneration process also increases the speed of processes the body uses in the healing such as endorphin production to mitigate pain reducing the amount of time and severity the subject feels discomfort leading to an increased pain threshold. Other processes of this quirk included are the production of adrenaline and the fight or flight response which are greatly extended by the increased recovery leading to increased physical performance as Cecelia gains elevated strength and energy while also able to push their bodies harder due to decreased sensation of pain.

At higher levels and as she trains her quirk more at U.A. Cecelia can regenerate not just their cellular tissues, but also their DNA, undoing genetic mutations and breakdown, as well as maintaining her youth by extending telomeres. If advanced enough, her power will cause the body to cease aging as the cells are regenerating and dying in equilibrium, granting a form of immortality for her.

She also possess health and metabolism at the maximum limit of human potential, meaning they have increased resistance to things like weight gain, illness, and intoxication. Her immune system makes them nigh-immune to drugs, poisons, pathogens, and viruses and able to recover from such aliments in a short period of time.

This quirk however does not stop her from experiencing the pain she endures while being injured, and she must be fully nourished and hydrated for her body to fully regenerated and also needs a good amount of rest as it can sometimes deplete her energy.

The second quirk that Cecelia inherited, this allows her physical condition at the pinnacle of human potential, almost being superhuman. Her strength, speed, stamina, senses, agility, reflexes, accuracy, longevity, durability, healing time, flexibility and combat skills are near enhanced.

This quirk allows her strength be enough to punch an individual through a brick wall, dent thin doors, bend, if not break, thin steel chairs, bars and handcuffs with her bare hands. Her strength is comparable to the combined strength of 5-10 strongmen, allowing her to fight and stand up to large animals like bears, gorillas, rhinos, lions, tigers, hippos, elephants, wolves, boars, sharks, etc., and even villains larger than herself.

This quirk also allows her speed to be fast enough to catch-up or outrun moving vehicles, most wild predators, and explosions from the average bomb. She can swim at 15 knots. She is also skilled enough to fight, train and can exert themselves at peak capacity, non-stop for multiple hours, producing top-endurance, and enough lung capacity to hold her breath for up to 20 minutes even whilst under water.
She can run a full marathon without losing breath and having fatigue. She is also able to make herself agile enough to climb the tallest of buildings, jump up to 20 ft vertically, 50 ft horizontally, and have the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats. She is fast enough to dodge multiple incoming attacks, rapid gunshots as well as seemingly sudden motions (e.g. walls or debris of a crumbling roof). She can also use ranged weapons to achieve multiple small and further distant targets and never miss.

She is capable of living longer than the average-person (also due to her quirk regeneration) while looking much younger in appearance.

This quirk also allows her to durable enough to withstand melee/ranged attacks from normal to superhuman levels, 50 volts of electricity, 220℉ (104℃) and -65℉ (-54℃). She can survive being stabbed and shot multiple times, point-blank grenade explosions, and falls from up to 200 ft without breaking any bones and even 5-10 miles in the air. She is also intelligent enough to understand complex problems beyond the scope of normal people, which allows them to effortlessly match all known geniuses and be flawlessly skilled in calculating things.

With these senses, she is capable of making herself see much further than normal people, having 20/5 vision (meaning she can see things clearly from 20 feet, which others have to see from 5 feet away). She is able to see a candlelit flame from over 10 miles away in the dark and acutely touch ink on a page. She can feel another person's breathing, pulse, and heartbeat as well as sense the vibrations of others close to bee vicinity without having to physically touch her. Her hearing ranges from 10Hz to 40KHz, allowing her to easily hear sounds clearly through a thick bricked wall and from miles away. (Ex: They can hear a watch ticking from over 100 ft away). She possesses a smell comparable to wolves and other animals, allowing them to smell distinct scents with perfect precision. She can taste way more accurately than the normal humans, allowing them to distinguish what ingredients or chemicals are inside each product or food they eat.

In this quirk however, Cecelia must concentrate on the physical ability she wants to accelerate or enhance, which she can only do up to two maximum in season one and further. This quirk requires a lot of concentration and energy most of the time, however in season three, she is capable of using these abilities within more concentration and is able to not deplete all of her energy in enhancing and accelerating her abilities.

Her emotional intelligence is quite sharp as well but it goes better throughout the series.

Her emotional struggles might persist even if her body heals quickly.
