"Look!" Aang pointed in the air, the same figure flying in the air, Aang started to run away "This boy is going to kill me." Phoenix said before running after the Airbender, while he ran he hit a few people, and a cart of cabbages. "sorry for your cabbages" Phoenix picked three up and put it back on the cart. Aang finally caught up "you're not a Airbender" His voice was full of disappointment when he saw a boy in a wheelchair "An Airbender? of course not" He took his circular glasses off his face. 

The floor shook when a building from behind blew up "what the?!" Phoenix shielded her eyes with her hand, smoke started to fill the air so it was hard to see "Aang, we can't see" Katara coughed, Aang used his bending skills to clear the air "help me!" Phoenix looked at the ground, a teenager on the ground with a large brick on his leg. She rushed over to him, her hands went under the brick and she picked it up with struggle "here" She grabbed his hands and helped him up from the ground "thank you" He said out of breath, his breathing was heavy "Get somewhere safe" Phoenix ordered, he nodded his head and ran off to somewhere.

"Teo! Teo!" An older man with a big black beard ran over to the kid in the wheelchair, whose name is Teo. Teo coughed violently from the smoke "we should get him out of the smoke." Katara suggested "Here- our house is right here." He grabbed his son's wheelchair and pushed him out of the smoke into his house.

"what were you doing out there?" Sai asked his son when he sat on the table "I just landed. How was I to know there'd be another bombing?"  Phoenix gave a quick glance at Katara "Bombing? You mean this wasn't an accident" She asked in confusion "nothing the fire nation does is an accident" Teo said, causing Aang to look over at Phoenix, guilt spread in her stomach "What if it wasn't the fire nation?" She asked, Teo huffed "who else could it be?" His eyes landed on her "you're right- the fire nation are violent people.." She looked down in guilt, even though she wasn't apart of the fire nation anymore, she still was raised there.

"There's spies from the fire nation all over the city" Teo grabbed the tea cup from his dad's hand "It's not safe anywhere these day" Sai spoke as he placed the pot with tea inside down, he then left the area "You're an Airbender. Do you realize what this means? We finally have a way to take the fight  to the enemy. You can drop bombs on them, rain down destruction. Air power is their weakness, and you...you are air power" Teo said excited, excited that there was a chance to defeat the fire nation's bombings.

Sokka opened the front door, a wooden stick in his hands. "woah" He looked around the house, amazed. "Pretty great huh? Dad's the mechanist to the King of Omashu" Teo said with pride. Teo listed out all the great thing Sai had done, like the nice delivery system, and much more things. "Well, we have our own part to play in the war. Right, Aang" Katara bent down to get her brown bag "yes, which is why we have to go." Aang spoke "oh, right, of course. Just promise me you'll really stick it to the firebenders." Phoenix looked down yet again, Aang didn't respond but smiled in response.

"Sokka" Katara looked over to her brother, looking at things Sai created "this is incredible, look at this" He had some object in his hands that was close to his face "those are for cleaning under your toenails" Sai came back and informed, Sokka dropped the object down on the table with disgusted "it can get bloody" Phoenix's face scrunched up in disgust, she felt like she was going to puke by just imagining it. "we should go" Sokka suggested, wiping his fingers on his blue clothing "see you guys" Teo waved his hand goodbye.

They all went out of the house, the air smelt like smoke and fire, people were on the ground with all sorts of injuries "this place used to be incredible.  A place I couldn't wait to see. A place where amazing things were created, not destroyed. It's my responsibility to help these people" Aang felt bad for the people living in Omashu, so did Phoenix. She hated how the fire nation acted, she sometimes wish she was never born in the nation. "How are you going to do that?" Sokka asked the bald boy "Being the Avatar isn't just about fighting. It's about helping people, like Teo and his father and everyone in this city." Katara decided to speak up "what about the North? Didn't Kyoshi tell you you had to get there to prevent a tragedy? " 

"Yes, and i'm going to do that but I have to do this too. If i'm going to save the world, I have to do it one person at a time." Phoenix nodded her head "we should tell Teo and Sai then"  Phoenix suggested "good idea." Aang walked back into the house "I thought you were leaving?" Teo had a confusion expression "I've decided to stay in Omashu." Teo smiled "why? I thought you had to go?" "Because I wanna help, and I think I can, Because i'm the avatar. Now tell me about these bombings."
