✩48✩ Beginning of the End [Pt.2]
✩Queen Y/N✩
You surged to your feet in one fluid motion, your wings unfolding with a power that made the very air tremble. The once-muted weight of captivity vanished, replaced with a surge of freedom that filled every fiber of your being. The League of Villains turned to you, their expressions varying from surprise to irritation, but none of them truly grasped what was about to happen.
Shigaraki's voice cut through the tension. "Y/N, what are you doing?" His hands tightened around the chain that still clung to your neck, pulling you down in an attempt to regain control. But you weren't the same anymore.
A growl rumbled deep in your chest as you whipped your head around, fire flashing from your mouth in a sudden, violent burst. The flames danced around you, sharp and bright, a warning. You were not their pet anymore.
"I'm not your little pet anymore, Shigaraki," you snarled, your voice no longer that of a human, but something ancient, something primal. "My friends are here to save me."
With that, you smirked, and in one swift motion, the chain snapped apart in your hands. The metal, heated by the intensity of your will, melted like wax, falling to the ground in a heap of blackened remnants. You stood tall, no longer just Y/N—no, she was gone.
In her place stood the queen of dragons.
Your body shifted, scales the color of copper red creeping over your skin, glowing under the moonlight. Golden eyes gleamed, sharp and predatory, scanning the League of Villains with cold calculation. Teeth like daggers filled your mouth, and your claws extended, each one longer and sharper than any blade. You could feel the power flowing through you, a strength that had once been locked away—untouched for so long.
Your wings stretched wide, beating the air with hurricane force, sending gusts of wind ripping through the alleyway. The air around you hummed with raw energy, as if the very earth trembled beneath your feet.
Smaug was awake. The queen had returned.
A deep, rumbling growl escaped your throat, your voice now echoing with the ancient authority of a being far beyond their understanding. The world around you seemed to bend, as though it too recognized the awakening of a force long dormant.
Shigaraki's eyes widened as the reality of what was happening settled in. The girl they had taken was no more. In her place was something far more dangerous. The League of Villains stood frozen, unsure of how to react to the unearthly presence you now exuded.
They thought they had broken you. They thought you were theirs.
But you were the queen of dragons, and they were nothing more than ants beneath your claws.
Hell would rain down.

✩Izuku Midoriya✩
Izuku could only watch in stunned silence as you rose before him, an unstoppable force, a living storm ready to unleash its fury. The flames gathering in your throat glowed ominously, casting eerie shadows on the ground. It was clear now—this was no longer just Y/N. This was the queen of dragons, the one who had slumbered for far too long.
Before you could unleash the inferno, Izuku lunged forward, his eyes wide with determination, his hands held out as if to shield the villains from your wrath. "Y/N, wait!" he shouted, his voice breaking through the tension.
You froze for a moment, your golden eyes narrowing in confusion. You snapped your jaws shut with a deafening crack, but the smoke that poured from your nostrils and the corners of your mouth made the air thick and suffocating. "Do you dare to stop me, little emerald?" you rumbled, your voice deeper and more resonant than it had ever been before.
Izuku didn't move, standing firm in front of the villains, despite the danger that loomed. The flames roared in your chest, eager to burn it all down, but for just a moment, his presence, his voice, made you hesitate.
You blew a puff of smoke in his direction, enough to send him staggering back. But it was enough of a warning to him—he knew you weren't playing around.
And then, through the smoke, Aizawa appeared, his eyes wide with disbelief as he saw you fully transformed, wings flared and tail thrashing. All Might followed closely behind, his body more frail than it had ever been, his figure weakened from the last battle. His voice was strained, yet firm, as he addressed you.
"Heroes don't kill, Y/N. You know that," All Might said, stepping forward as if to reason with the beast you had become.
You sneered, the words barely registering in your now animalistic mind. "I am no hero," you snarled, your voice shaking the ground beneath you. "I am the queen of dragons. I am Smaug. And I do not care about the morals of humans who are too timid to strike down those scoundrels."
The ground seemed to tremble beneath your feet as you lashed your tail, sending a wave of force through the area. Your gaze, sharp and unwavering, locked on Shigaraki and the rest of the League of Villains.
"They have kidnapped me," you growled, your voice dripping with contempt. "And now they will pay."
The League, once cocky and full of bravado, now shrank back. Even Shigaraki, whose power over decay had once made him a terrifying leader, faltered in the face of your overwhelming might. For the first time, they saw you for what you truly were—a force of nature, a creature of destruction, not just the girl they had thought they could control.
Shigaraki's usual smirk faltered, replaced by an expression of genuine fear as he and the others began to huddle together. The League of Villains, for once, wasn't the threat here. It was you—the queen, the one they had thought they had subdued, but who now towered above them, ready to unleash the full extent of her wrath.
Izuku remained where he stood, his expression filled with both worry and determination, not daring to move in case he made things worse. He knew the stakes. He had to reach you—Y/N, the friend he had fought beside for so long.
But for now, all that remained was the queen of dragons. And there would be no mercy.
"All Might is right," Shoto's voice cut through the tension, his face resolute as he stepped forward, his icy demeanor matching the weight of his words. "We turn villains into the police, nothing more. You know that."
You stared down at them, your gaze cold and calculating. But then, a twisted smile crept across your face, one that didn't belong to the girl they had once known. This smile was that of a queen—a predator who had been wronged, and now, finally awakened.
"I see," you purred, your voice deceptively calm, too calm. "I see you are not the brave souls I thought you were." Your wings unfurled, the sheer size of them dwarfing your former classmates as you stood tall above them, an unstoppable force in their midst. "Instead of bringing justice to villains, you give them chance after chance. No wonder humanity is on the brink of collapse."
The words were venomous, and the sting of them echoed in the hearts of those who had once been your allies.
Izuku's breath caught in his throat. He wanted to reach out, to say something—anything—that could pull you back from this abyss, but there were no words that could undo what had already been done. No words that could erase the weight of betrayal that had settled in your heart.
You drew back, your body coiling like a spring ready to release. Your golden eyes flashed one final time over the group, your expression full of disdain. Then, with a final, bone-chilling snarl, you spoke one last time.
"Farewell then, Class 1-A. Rot, if you will. I no longer care."
With a sudden, powerful beat of your wings, you took to the sky. The wind whipped around you, sending debris scattering as you ascended higher and higher, vanishing into the storm-heavy clouds that loomed ominously above.
Izuku stood frozen, his heart shattering in his chest as he watched you disappear. His mind screamed to take action, but his body betrayed him.
Tears welled up in his eyes, and he hung his head in silent agony. He had lost you—Y/N, his friend, the girl who had fought alongside him, the queen who had once trusted them. The weight of the loss hit him like a freight train, the finality of it crushing any hope he had left.
A hand landed gently on his shoulder, and he looked up to meet the sad, knowing gaze of All Might. The former Symbol of Peace gave him a sorrowful smile, one that spoke volumes of the pain he, too, was feeling. They had tried, they had hoped, but in the end, they had failed.
They had lost you—a good friend, a queen, a beloved. And there was no turning back now.
All Might's voice was soft, tinged with regret. "She's gone, Izuku. We... we couldn't save her."
Izuku nodded slowly, his tears falling freely now. He had tried, but the queen had made her choice. And the storm had taken her far from them, never to return.
