𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

"YOU SURE YOU don't wanna go?" isis asked celeste once again. notti had invited isis and celeste to go hang out with them at the studio but celeste didn't wanna go unless she had talked to darrian first which, she hasn't.

celeste shook her head once again as she completed once of the homework worksheets she had gotten earlier in the school day.

isis let out a sigh and plopped down next to her cousin. "ddot is gonna be there y'know. you can talk to him then." isis could see how celeste's eyes gleamed when she mentioned darrian, making her smile.

the two cousins ended up going to the studio, which celeste was regretting each step of the way. it wasn't that she didn't wanna see darrian it was because she was nervous to see him.

when they made it inside the studio celeste's nose was immediately inhaled with smoke make her subconsciously scrunch her face up. 

notti and dd were the first ones who noticed the two and emerged from the music booth they were recording in to tackle the girls with hugs. meanwhile, darrian was in the booth trying to calm himself down since he was in the worst mood possible.

when celeste sat down on one of the leather couches she spotted darrian's figure inside the booth. she could visibly see that he was mad and she so badly wanted to go over and hug him but she sat in her positioned spot.

celeste pulled out her phone and put it on the armrest of the couch. she pulled her hoodie, well darrian's hoodie over her head. she was currently trying to drown herself in music to ignore her actual problems in life, it was working.

darrian looked out the glass booth, seeing celeste made him want to literally kill himself because he was the cause of the frown etched on her face. if it was anyone else he wouldn't care but this was celeste. he cared a whole lot.

darrian let out a sigh, sliding off the headphones off his hears and put them around his neck and walked out the booth. he sat next to celeste and looked everywhere but way. celeste knew it was darrian and if she didn't speak they wouldn't speak at all, so she took out her headphones and stuffed her phone in her sweatpants pocket.

the girl turned to her boyfriend and stared for a bit before speaking, "are you okay?" her voice was so soft that it almost couldn't be heard since their was loud drill music playing in the background but darrian heard her, he always does.

and the fact that celeste still asked if he was okay made darrian's heart soar. he never had someone care as much as celeste does, it may sound selfish but he prays to god that she never stops caring.

darrian nodded at her previous question and opened his mouth to say something but nothing would come out, he didn't know what to say without it coming out wrong. 

celeste knew that he was sorry so she put her head on his shoulder and nuzzled it into his neck, smiling. "it's okay, i know you didn't mean it. we all have bad days. just don't take it out on me next time. "she let out a small laugh at the end making darrian smile to himself.

he loved her laugh it's crazy how much he'd love to hear it every second of the day.

"ight, but i'm still sorry." he wrapped an arm around his girlfriend and looked down at the beautiful girl he was lucky to even call girlfriend.

"you so beautiful, bro." he let out a sigh making celeste laugh slightly but her laugh was quickly stopped when she heard isis yell dramatically, "must be nice!" isis yelled across the room while she shook her head and muttered something about being single. 

but it didn't make sense since notti's head was literally laying on her lap. celeste talked with her through her eyes and busted out laughing when isis knew exactly what she was saying. 

both notti and ddot looked at each other confused.

CELESTE NOW SAT down on one of the couches in the reyes household. the group of boys decided they wanted to have a smoke break so why not have it in their own house.

the boys were smoking across from them while celeste was talking to isis as she was trying to untangle her wired headphones that got messed up since she had shoved them in her pockets earlier.

"oh my god, look at amiri!" isis jumped up from were she was sitting besides celeste and went to pick up what she had learned to be melz son. celeste had heard of amiri but she never met him since every time she went off the boys house he was always asleep.

isis snatched amiri from notti while mugging him but quickly smiled at the smiling toddler. she walked back to were she was sitting.

"amiri, this is celeste say hi." isis pulled amiri to face celeste as she smiled at the adorable toddler. amiri instantly started to make grabby hands at celeste that caught her off by surprise but slowly pulled the toddler onto her lap.

celeste always had a love for babies, even if she was not around many every kid she had met always seemed to like her and so does amiri too. amiri starts to babble about random things that celeste doesn't even understand but she pretends she does nonetheless.

"my birthday is next week, you is gonna be there right?" amiri asked her with puppy eyes now she had no choice to say no now. "you want me to be there?" amiri nodded frantically at her question making her laugh.

"i'm gonna be there." she nods. amiri pulls out his small pinkie, "you promise?"

"i promise." she locks her pinkie with his, sealing it with a kiss as amiri had told her to do that.

the two start in a conversing in a playful conversation well mostly just celeste listening to amiri talk about dinosaurs and him taking multiple photos on her phone. he had noticed that darrian and her was as her lock screen and called darrian over making celeste want to swallow into a hole.

"darri!" amiri called over the boy who turned his head and stop his argument he was having with notti to walk over to the two. "wassup lil bro." he ruffled amiri's hair as the younger boy pulled celeste's phone to darrian's eye level.

"cellie likes you." he drags the u for a dramatic effect. darrian pulls a shocked face and cups celeste's face, "you do?" celeste nodded playfully but it wasn't a lie before darrian planted a small peck on her lips making amiri squeal.

when darrian walked away amiri squealed once again, "he likes you!" as celeste just nodded in understanding. "he does." shortly after celeste got a text from her dad asking for her to pick up a sandwich from the deli. she quickly tells the little boy that she would be right back and left the house. 

just as soon as she w

as gonna take a step she felt an arm around wrap her shoulder making her jump slightly but then realized it was darrian. "you scared me." celeste slaps his chest gently as they start walking.

the two walked to the deli and walked in the section where they made the sandwiches. the couple talked for a bit until a girl bumped into them. 

you could tell that the girl was literally stars truck from how big her pupils were when she saw darrian. "sorry- um. are you waiting for food?" the girl asked which made both of them pull a face. there was a whole line of people behind them waiting for exactly what she was also waiting for. food.

"fuck i'm here for then?" darrian tilted his head making the girl turn into a whole blushing mess then started laughing really really hard. the joke wasn't even that funny, well at least from celeste's perspective it wasn't.

celeste mugged the girl as she was laughing way too hard at darrian's joke and it wasn't even that funny, she pulled on of darrian's arm and put it around her as he slowly wrapped his hands around her waist and put his head onto her shoulder.

it seemed like the girl had gotten the memo when she nervously scratched the back off her neck and walked away.

celeste was frowning the whole time they were on the line and it didn't go unnoticed by the boy, "what's wrong ma?" she turned back to her boyfriend to answer. "she looked at you funny." celeste mumbled even embarrassed to say that out loud.

darrian grinned at her answer. "too bad, you stuck with me."
