Holy shit. He thought, as he looked down and straight into Hyunjin's eyes. To other's it probably was nothing special - just brown eyes. And yet the color was so deep, so rich. His eyes looked so peaceful. Just what was happening to Minho? His own were similar in color, but when he looked at himself in the mirror, he never felt about them in that way.

The situation had no right to be this intimate. With how fast his heart was beating the other must've already heard it. Embarrassing. It all was so weird and unusual, he was acting like some high school girl finally getting to talk to her crush. Except Minho wasn't in love with Hyunjin, he really wasn't.

When he tried getting out of the situation, it made everything worse. Of course he had to hit his head on a metal a bar, embarrassing himself even further. Him hissing in pain instantly alarmed Hyunjin, as if the dull sound of his head hitting the metal wasn't enough to get his attention.

"Oh god, Minho", he exhaled and put his hand on the exact spot he had hit, carefully rubbing over it. The position they were in could easily be described as suggestive.

"Weren't you two supposed to be working out?"

Both of their heads instantly turned to face Changbin standing at the entrance, arms crossed and eyebrow raised.

Right. Their position. What they were doing was far from working out. Minho was basically trapping Hyunjin between his arms, while he had his hand in the elder's hair. That definitely did not look like Hyunjin had simply tripped. Explaining it would be quite the fun.

"It's not what it looks like!", the man underneath him spoke as he slowly and carefully pushed Minho off of him, making sure he wouldn't get hurt again. "I tripped and he tried catching me." "Right.." Changbin definitely did not believe a single word. But could you really blame him? Minho wouldn't believe Hyunjin either if he would be in Changbin's position.

"Next time you should work out with me, I'll catch you for sure", he eventually said, winking before walking over to the weights. Only then did the other two get up as well, deciding to finish for the day. They had done more than enough and Minho's head was buzzing.

"Leaving already? Awh, I was gonna show you how much I can lift now." Changbin acted extremely disappointed on purpose and somehow.. it annoyed Minho. He was Hyunjin's personal trainer now. What was Changbin even trying to achieve? Did he just want to impress Hyunjin? Because no way seeing how much Changbin could lift would benefit him in any way. If anything it could just end up making the younger feel even worse.

Sighing he took the said man's hand. "Hyunjin definitely needs a shower and some food after practice. Sorry, Binnie. I'm sure you can show him next time." "Awh, sucks. I understand though. Make sure my Jinnie eats well!"

His Jinnie? What was that supposed to mean? Claiming Hyunjin as his when that was nowhere near reality? It was just him playing around. Of course it was. But Minho didn't like the sound of it.

As soon as they left the gym, his grip on Hyunjin's wrist loosened and the other male shook his head as if he was disappointed, though wasn't even thinking about taking his hand away. "What was that all about? I understand that I have to shower and all.. but can't that wait? Changbin was really looking forward to showing me something."

Fuck. What was he even supposed to reply? Hyunjin was totally right and he wasn't going to tell him that his jealous side got to him. There was no way he would. Because he had no right to feel that way. Hyunjin wasn't his either.

"You should be grateful I saved you from his bragging." His heart was beating so fast. Why didn't he think of something better to say? Surely this action alone ruined the friendship friendship had built up. But thankfully there it was. The sound of Hyunjin's sweet chuckle. "It's not like I have anything against it, but you might just be right this time, Minmin. I really can't wait to take a shower and get comfy in my bed."

Somehow he managed to overhear everything else, just a single word stayed in his head. Minmin? Minho's head was spinning. Such a nickname had no right to make his heart skip a beat like that. It had to stop.

The last couple weeks have been so stressful and Minho had no time to go cuddle with his cats. So that had to be why he was reacting that way to everything. It wasn't just Hyunjin specifically.. of course it wasn't. All he needed was a weekend off and everything would be normal again.

The days passed, turning more stressful, as his schedule was filling up way too quickly. He barely had any time to continue with Hyunjin's personal training, but he did his best not to forget about it. Yet he was getting more distant. Minho needed to be focused all the time, he had absolutely no time for distractions. Their japanese single was getting closer, so he had been busier than ever, even though he wasn't even the one in charge of the songs. Chan had wrote those a long time ago, but obviously they needed to be recorded and practiced.

Soon 'Minmin' turned back into 'Minho Hyung' and eventually he stopped spending time with Hyunjin entirely. They would not be working out together for a couple weeks, as their schedule was filled and both of them were usually way too exhausted to even think about going to the gym. While it might not seem surprising that Hyunjin wasn't feeling like going to the gym, he had definitely started to accept it.

That all left Minho frustrated. Their relationship was getting so much better and like that it was all ruined again. Perhaps they just weren't destined to be as close as they were to others. Otherwise it all would've worked out.

The following week it seemed like they got another shot at getting closer; Minho was supposed to accompany Hyunjin on a short trip to Paris. The Versace photoshooting was extremely important and could not be canceled, especially when Hyunjin was expected.

They shared a hotel room, which made the first night just incredibly awkward. After a long flight and drive from the airport to the hotel, both of them were way too exhausted to do anything other than get changed and fall onto the bed. The same bed.

It all looked like some bad movie or book plot, but it wasn't unusual for members to share one bed, as that saved money and they usually never really had a problem with it. But somehow it was awkward now, even though it has never been before.

"Hyung, you're taking up so much space", Hyunjin complained and shuffled around a little bit more, pulling his own blanket over his shoulders to keep his body warm. "Just sleep. You have a photoshooting tomorrow." Minho was tired and just couldn't put up with his complaining.

Silence. Awkward silence.

"Goodnight, Hyunjin." "...Goodnight, Minho."

And silence again. But somehow, Minho felt at ease in a way. In the end the other could've just asked for another room to be able to have his own bed, so it couldn't be that bad for Hyunjin.

The next day they woke up way too late. Hyunjin barely had enough time to get ready and only managed to finish because he skipped breakfast. Minho had tried to get him to eat, told him it was important and he could end up passing out if he would skip a meal like that, but Hyunjin didn't listen, which resulted in Minho's mood dropping. After all he was just trying to help and look out for his friend, for someone he cared about.

Since he wouldn't leave Hyunjin alone, the male let Minho grab something to eat while he would already head to his photoshooting.

It worked. The older one made sure to get him a bagel and the most perfect chocolate croissant he could find as a dessert and a coffee for him to drink. Caffeine was something Hyunjin quite enjoyed and would probably need with how exhausting the photoshooting would be. Minho really wanted to treat him after they had barely spent any time. In the end..Β  they were still friends. And friends looked out for each other. To him the money was well spent if it meant Hyunjin would eat and maybe even feel happier after receiving that from him. Perhaps it'd be a step in the right direction and get them closer again.

It all took him just about twenty minutes, in which Hyunjin had apparently already changed into his first and only outfit for the day.

But oh, how beautiful it was. A mesmerizing sight in fact.

The outfit complimented every single curve of his body, showed off just enough to leave room for imagination. The white blazer looked so good on his slightly tanned skin and it also showed off his collarbone, which was also decorated by various chains The sight should be illegal, especially the slit in his pants. It easily showed part of his thigh and his oh so soft skin.

Not only that, but also Hyunjin's hair looked beautiful. The dark hair was a nice contrast to the white clothing. The hairstyle was quite casual, just part of his hair tied into a ponytail with a white ribbon. Minho couldn't stop looking at him.

The diadem on his head was just as bright as his eyes, shining so beautiful due to the lights exposing his beauty even more. The mole under his eye was visible, just how Minho loved it.

His lips had the slightest amount of lipstick on them, it made them look even fuller, softer even. The things he'd do just to be able to place a kiss upon those lips. However that was not possible. He'd never be able to do so.

Hyunjin simply had the face of an angel, although it did seem like there was a fire behind those eyes β€” the passion. Hyunjin had always been so passionate and even though he had always preferred being known for his dancing and singing, modeling was definitely also one of his skills. It was beautiful. He was beautiful.

Though no matter how often he kept telling himself whatever he had felt weeks ago was temporary, he knew it wasn't. Had he really fallen in love with Hyunjin? With his band member? It sounded absurd. They weren't exactly friends β€” it was as if they had a love-hate relationship. So how was it even supposed to work?

The past years Minho had spent being rather distant and if they did interact, it was usually him teasing the other. They were so different, and yet they had a lot of things that connected them. Dancing was important to both of them, that was one passion they both shared.

He tried looking away, he really did. The second Hyunjin slightly turned his head and looked Minho straight in the eyes, it was as if he had been shot by an arrow. The small smile on his face made Minho's heart race, pumping all of the blood through his body and straight into his face and ears, painting all of that a dark shade of red.

He was in love. He had fallen in love with Hwang Hyunjin. That was absolutely crazy. It was wrong. He shouldn't have such feelings for the other. But oh how good it felt to finally accept his feelings towards the other.

Although he had no idea whether Hyunjin felt the same or not, in that moment he was still way too busy admiring that boy to care. Why did he have to be so beautiful?

"Why are you staring so much?"
