"You shouldn't have done that," Carlisle scolded the Danali's who were crouched next to each other on the floor after hearing the wheels of a car crush the snow. Tanya was looking to the floor where he had been sat and only snapped out of whatever she was thinking when Eleazar's wounds fully healed.

"What where we to do?" Kate shot up from the floor in anger and it was Rosalie who stepped next to Carlisle prepared to take the shock. "He killed our mother!"

Tanya stayed silent as she rose and went to lean against the kitchen island with her arms folded and expression unreadable.

"And you," Carlisle pointed a finger towards the family, "just tried to kill him- the most powerful vampire in history," he barked back with his face clear in rage. None of his children had ever seen him like this not even when Edward had become invested in a human.

"What's going on?" A voice from the front door asked in uncertainty wether they should step in or not.

"Irina you missed all the fun," Kate said animatedly with a crazed look in her eye as she held her arms open.

"Cullens," she greeted shortly and brushed passed them to hold Kates arm, "what fun?"

Carmen pulled Irina by her arm, "Kyrell just tried to kill Eleazar!"

"Because you tried to kill him first!" Emmett shouted back enraged by the injustice to which Jasper nodded curtly to.

"He started it!" Kate boomed angrily and sneered at the tall man who pinched his lips up ready for a fight until Carlisle put himself between the two.

"We shouldn't have done it," it was Tanya who spoke up quietly and all heads snapped to her, "it was over five hundred years ago it was stupid."

Kate looked at her incredulously, "what? You agreed with me when I suggested it," she was walking up to her sister standing face to face with her and Tanya was not afraid to match her.

"I did but now I've changed my mind," she said lowly with her hands clenched by her sides the tensions were high.

"Suggested what?" Irina had no clue about the plan at hand and was confused at even the Cullens being here let alone the most powerful vampires in their living room.

"When you left," Carmen told her gently afraid of startling her like one hunter would a deer, "we found out that Kyrell was responsible for killing Sasha."

Irina stilled but her first reaction wasn't to kill him it was, "how?"

Eleazar and Carmen looked to one another in caution they had told Kyrell it was the Volturi who said the dagger would kill him. However, they didn't specify which vampire it was but now they were caught in a threshold.

Carlisle took a step forward, "I would like to know that too," he spoke to them with no kindness or even acknowledged that they were family.

"We were told we couldn't s-

"It was Caius," Tanya spoke without care that she had outed the man responsible and Kate quickly hissed at her. "So what?" She bit back, "the dagger didn't work he must've know and wanted Kyrell to kill us."

"But why would he want that?" Irina was now fully invested and walked over to Tanya noticing how she was slowly shutting down.

"Because your mates," Carlisle said in recognition and his eyes widened dramatically before he left the house without so much as a goodbye the Cullens quickly trailed after him.

"It doesn't matter we don't need anyone we can still kill him," Kate encouraged but none of her family said anything to show they agreed.

"No Kate," it was Eleazar who now spoke up and did not want another dagger in his neck or his heart next time.

"No more Kate- you nearly killed your own mate just so you could have your vengeance and we shouldn't have agreed," Carmen defended softly.

"But he- Tanya?" She turned to her sister who had Irina's hand rubbing up and down in a comforting manner.

"No," was all she said before pushing herself out of her sisters grip and trudging up the stairs with venom welling in her eyes. She felt like she had killed him, she felt like he was dead to her and the world but Kyrell was out there brooding and living. She regretted what she did it was a long time ago and she now understood that if he didn't give the order Sasha would've only made more newborn children.

It was unfair why did her mate have to be the man who murdered their mother, it would take time but she felt herself already forgiving him and now only wanted him to forgive her. "I'm sorry," she whispered out to no one in particular but not even the wind replied to her.

The three didn't return to the Cullens or stay in the same country as them and went back to his castle in Greece. When Elizabeth woke up on the way to the airport she was livid shouting profanities that her so called mate would do this to her. Kyrell offered for Antonette to return to her own mate but she refused and said that she too would then be a traitor, he'd never felt more pleased that she would be staying.

Many months passed and the three were doing all they could to forget their mates but the aroma around the castle had darkened. The monument was bleak with an often bitter chill to whichever human had managed to wind up on his doorstep, they were often dinner.

Kyrell was sitting on his balcony watching over the waves crash against the rocks of the castle when his phone rang, he answered it without looking at the name.

"Yes?"

His voice was grouchy and irritated but Carlisle's calm and ambient tone made him deflate slightly, "Kyrell I was saddened at your leave."

He chuckled darkly, "others do not share your same sentiments," he spat out and his eyes turned stormy.

Carlisle sighed and turned to look at Bella on the couch who was growing paler and weaker by the second, "we need your help."

"With what trying to murder me again?" He snipped back and his son was quick to defend himself and his family.

"We didn't know that the Denali's were going to do that," Kyrell stayed quiet but he continued, "it's Bella she isn't- she needs your help." He was quiet again before asking a question that would've been obvious to him.

"What is she a newborn I knew Edward wouldn't be able to control himself," he scoffed down the phone whilst Edward glared at the cellphone.

"No it's not that its-

"Carlisle give me the phone," Bella softly said in her scratchy throat and held her dainty hand out which he gave to her quickly. "Kyrell?" She called down the phone wearily.

"Isabella?" His eyebrows furrowed at her voice and this was certainly not the attitude of a newly turned vampire.

"I'm pregnant," he was now eerily quiet and the family waited in angst until he spoke up again like an angel answering her prayers.

"I'm on my way."

Kyrell stared at the phone in his hand before muttering , "fuck," if Bella truly was pregnant he didn't want to but the child would have to be killed. The only time he's ever seen a newborn baby was when Sasha Denali created one and now Edward had impregnated her- he was going to kill that Cullen.

Antonette and Elizabeth were sat in front of the fire on the leather couch with a drink in hand blankly staring at the flames. Their heads snapped to him when he appeared and briskly walked past them whilst telling them to pack a bag.

"Why?"

"Because our dear Bella has gone and gotten pregnant," their eyes widened.

"She cheated on Edward!" Elizabeth gasped loudly thinking of the werewolf at the wedding but he scrunched up his face.

"No, he got her pregnant."

"But that means," Antonette drawled off and all of them went silent before she grumbled, "shit."

"Shit indeed."

They arrived only a few hours after the phone call and Carlisle answered the door with a weary smile. Over the months he tried to get in touch with his father but it only went to voicemail so, he was glad that he had finally picked up the phone.

"Kyrell I'm glad you came," he gave small nods to Elizabeth and Antonette who both looked like they'd rather be anywhere but here.

He gave a small nod before they glided into the house, "where is she?"

"Upstairs."

"Kyrell," Bella said almost gladly when she saw his face he would be able to help her that was the hope she relied on when Edward told the family he wanted to kill her child.

"Bella," he went to sit next to her but the werewolf he came to know as Jacob stood up quickly and positioned himself in front of the girl with his chest puffed out. "Down dog," Kyrell dug his hand into his shoulder and threw his across the room with ease Elizabeth failed in hiding her laugh whilst Antonette was busy trying to avoid Rosalies tantalising gaze.

"Get away from her."

He sat next to Bella and put an arm round her and Jake stood with a groan holding his shoulder, "dogs aren't allowed on the couch," was the last he said to the boy. Kyrell analysed her from head to toe and knew he wasn't hiding his weary face very well when he saw her expression deflate.

She had hollow cheekbones with dark bags under her eyes, thinning hair and cracked lips. Bella's shoulder blade poked his hand when he put his arm round her and her hands looked as though she'd aged twenty years.

He looked over the couch at Edward who was stood chewing on his thumb anxiously, "this is your fault," he sneered but Bella shook her head.

"No it's not it's mi-

"If he had turned you then everything would be fine and you wouldn't be pregnant but no," Elizabeth snarked as she too glared at the Cullen boy, "he just couldn't wait."

Edward felt if he could blush his face would be best red, "how do you get rid of it?" He avoided their comments and walked to the edge of the couch where Bella looked betrayed by his very answer.

Kyrell too ignored him, "Bella you do realise that if this baby is a newborn I will have to end its life," she tended under his hold, "and you may die for nothing," he was truthful and blunt with her.

"But what if it's not?" She still held out hope and Kyrell felt his undead heart warm slightly for the girl sitting next to him, the most he's felt since the Denalis tried to kill him.

"Didn't you hear it's going to kill you!" Jacob shouted in panic whilst Edward nodded his head to agree with the shapeshifter.

"You should get rid of it now," Edward said.

"Bella the foetus isn't good for you," Alice said more gently although she spat the word foetus out with malice.

"Just say the word Alice, baby, it's just a little baby!" Rosalie growled back at her sister and Antonette carefully moved closer to the blonde by her own hand or not she didn't know nor care.

Kyrell kept quiet and looked at Bella's face she looked even more sullen than five minutes before and rubbed her hands over her stomach as a comfort to her. "If Bella wishes to keep the baby then she can say for herself," his voice cut through like an executioners in a busy crowd. They all went quiet and Edward looked at him like he was crazy it was his idea to call the vampire because he thought he'd get rid of the child for him. "What would you like to do Bella?"

She looked to him with wide eyes and gave him her bestest of smiles even with the stare she was in, "I want to keep it."

"You can't!" Jacob shouted but Kyrell gave Elizabeth one look and she sped up from the couch and grabbed his throat before pinning him to the wall. The Cullens jumped at the sudden change but none moved to help him not wanting to face her rage.

"One more word and she'll rip out your throat," Elizabeth ran her tongue over one of her fangs to emphasise Kyrell's point before dropping him to the floor.

"Bella it is important you understand," Kyrell became soft with his words again, "do you understand that you could die," she nodded weakly, "and do you understand that if this child is a newborn I will have to," he didn't say the last word watching how her face contorted.

"I understand," she meekly said and he rubbed his hand up her shoulder.

"I will stay until the birth and if any of you," his eyes darted to Edward and Jacob, "do anything to jeopardise the baby's life I will have no choice but to inflict a harsh punishment."

It went silent and he caught Antonette's gaze watching as her eyes flickered back and forth from Rosalie to him. He gave her a firm nod to end the silent war she was having with herself and gave him one of her reserved grins.

Jacob was quick to storm off with a ugly scowl on his face and Edward followed after him in urgency, Kyrell narrowed his eyes and he gave Elizabeth a small nod in their direction. She took off without a word leaving just him, Antonette and some of the Cullens it wasn't until the big burly one, Emmett spoke up.

"That was bad ass," Emmett said out of the blue which got a small chuckle from Bella.

"Isabella is family," Kyrell simply said before he turned to Carlisle, "go get some blood."

He looked baffled by the request but went to get some anyway, "Antonette why don't you and Rosalie go on a hunt- bring me back a snack," the blonde looked to his friend waiting for an answer. As she stared into the golden hues she couldn't do anything but cough up an answer.

"O-Of course," she stuttered stupidly and gave him a sharp glance when Rosalie walked past her and out the door, Antonette quickly trailed after her like a lost pup.

He gave Alice and Jasper a scan over with his eyes but when he looked to Esme he patted the spot next to him which she took with a smile.

She had felt guilt filling her ever since he left and only wanted to apologise but she had no way of contacting him and didn't know where his castle was exactly located. Over the years of knowing him she saw how calm he was being with Bella and knew it was the distraught feeling of Tanya plotting his murder that must've tugged on his heart strings more than he'd like to have admitted.

Carlisle returned and apprehensively handed him the bag which he turned to Bella with who was surprised that for a vampire he was surprisingly warm as she leant further into him. "You may not like this at first but it'll make you feel better," they watched anxiously as Bella took a small sip from it.

When she didn't wretch in disgust and instead looked up with a cute shrug, "it's nice," this got a small chuckle from Jasper who Kyrell hadn't heard make a noise since he walked through the door.

"Rest love," he brought her in closer so she could rest her head on his shoulder as the television played and she was asleep in seconds. Kyrell saw Esme giving him one of her kind smiles out of the corner of his eye and felt a fuzzy feeling of acceptance that would've made any man blush. Carlisle stood behind his wife with the same face and when he looked to Alice and Jasper they were simply staring at one another with unreadable eyes.

Emmett came and layed down by Kyrell's feet having no room on either couch but wanted to watch the game that was playing.

When Elizabeth came back she went to boast loudly about what she heard the boys talking about but he made a shushing motion with his hand and she quieted. But for the love of everything holy she couldn't wait to tell him what she had heard the boys talking about.

When he was assured Isabelle was asleep Rosalie who had finally returned with a shy Antonette took his place without waking the sleeping beauty. Elizabeth had told him of what Edward wanted Jacob to do and silently fumed he was careful not to break anything. He didn't want Bella to wake up to him throwing her husband through the window, he ordered Elizabeth to watch over the girl as the days passed and he was out hunting.

"Edward," Kyrell called out to him and shut the door behind him as they entered Carlisle's study. Edward turned round and gulped lightly before crossing his arms as an attempt to seem stable.

"Yes?"

"I understand that you want Bella to live but this is her decision not yours," he added with a stern tone and Edwards stoic expression turned dejected. Like he knew the truth but didn't want to hear it and just sighed rubbing his withered face- he too looked like he'd aged.

"I know it's just- I won't be able to live without her," he whispered scared to admit it but Kyrell just stayed silent and unmoving. "And if that thing," he gritted out, "isn't even a newborn but it kills her I won't be able to look at it without thinking of-

His voice wavered as he cowered behind his hands covering his face, "I will be there with her and I make this promise to you." He grasped Edward's shoulder with a stern look was in Kyrell's eye that made Edward feel like a boy again. "I will turn her before she has the chance of dying."

Edward didn't want to believe him, he didn't want to give into a comforting lie but he let himself do so. It would be Edwards own fault that he believed Kyrell and was driven to madness all because he couldn't live without his mate.

"We're thinking of baby names," Bella smiled lightly happy that Edward and Jacob could stand to be in the same room as another. "Lizzy hates them," Elizabeth was standing on the side of Bella whilst Rosalie stood on the other like her loyal hounds. Days had passed and the blood was sustaining Bella like any food would, she had regained enough strength to stand by herself but her stomach had largeness if even possible. Her head looked too big for her body and she seemed to have withered in such a short amount of time.

"There terrible."

"There not all bad," Rose lightly suggested and gave a playful look to Elizabeth. Antonette was sat stupidly smiling up at her mate, a fool in love was what she was ever since their kiss when they hunted.

"What are they," Edward asked gently and stood next to Kyrell. Carlisle was right he gave off a aurora that either made you afraid to be near him or could make you feel more protected than ever.

"Well if it's a boy I was thinking of Kai short for Kyrell," eyes turned to the man in question he was staring at Bella with eyebrows raised in surprise. He said nothing but gave a quick nod and looked to the floor with a shy but happy grin that warmed Bella's heart when the saw the smile he tried to hide.

"And if it's a girl," she now gave a look to Esme, "I was playing around with our moms names a little bit and thought of Renesme."

"That one's not totally horrific," Elizabeth rolled her eyes but Esme was not afraid to show off a toothy smile. Kyrell was still looking at the floor with his head down still feeling jittery that a child could be named after him- if it was human. The heavy weight daunted on him and he found himself conflicted, he chose now the time to comfort the mother of the child that he may have to kill.

A sharp gasp from Bella made him snap his attention to her and she dropped the cup filled with blood before crying out in pain as her bones snapped. "The baby's coming."
