โŠนโ‚Š โ‹† AFTER BOTH DAMON AND STEFAN RUINED Asdrid's changes of a good nights rest, she refused to do anything that morning, and that included going to school. Though when realisation hit that she would have to spend the day with none other than Damon Salvatore, she wished she had left with Stefan that morning, because now she wanted to gouge her fucking eyes out.

"Are you just going to stay in here and avoid me all day," Damon teased as he entered Asdrid's bedroom suddenly causing the female to groan and shove her face into her pillow.

"Cant you just, I don't know... leave?" Asdrid said as though it was the easiest thing in the world, but once noticing Damon wasn't going anywhere she threw the covers off herself. "Fine, I'll leave."

As Asdrid was about to push past him the vampire grabbed ahold of her wrist. "I know it doesn't mean much," Damon started. "But I'm s-"

"Save it," Asdrid replied abruptly. "I don't want to hear it," she then pulls her arm away from the vampire who was about to reply when he heard the front door open and rushed downstairs.

Asdrid groaned once she heard the Gilbert girls voice before slowly following after Damon to the main floor of the Salvatore boarding house.

"Stefan," Elena called out as she looked around in awe, but she was met with silence, the only sound of the door creaking behind her, she suspiciously turned around the face it, but once again she was met with nothing, until a crow suddenly came flying through the door.

Elena jumped back in fright, only to let out a gasp as she came face to face with a stranger. The unknown person smirked slightly, tilting his head as he looked down at the girl.

"I'm sorry for barging in," she quickly said. "The door was...," she turned back to the now closed door. "...open."

The stranger took a moment to speak as he continued to stare, unknowingly creeping the girl out. "You must be Elena," she looked confused. "I'm Damon. Asdrid and Stefan's brother."

"They never told me they had a brother," Elena replied awkwardly.

"Actually," Asdrid spoke up as she finally made it downstairs. "We said we had none we spoke to," she corrected as she threw herself down on the red couch. "Unfortunately that's changed."

"And they're not one to brag," Damon smirked. "Please. Come," Damon gestured into the living area. "I'm sure Stefan will be along any second."

"Wow," Elena said in amazement. "This is your living room?"

"Living room, parlor, Sotheby's auction," Damon replied. "It's a little kitschy for my taste," after a moment he spoke up again, this time his words earning a glare from the immortal. "I see why my brother's so smitten. It's about time. I never thought he'd get over the last one... Nearly destroyed him."

"Damon," Asdrid spoke up. "I really don't think Elena needs to hear about this, especially from you."

Though Elena ignored Asdrid's words, keeping her eye on the older brother as she spoke her thoughts. "The last one?"

"Yeah. Katherine, his girlfriend?" Elena pursed her lips as she shook her head. "Oh, you two haven't had the awkward exes conversation yet. Oops. Well, I'm sure it'll come up now. Or, maybe he didn't tell you because he didn't want you to think he was on the rebound. We all know how those relationships end."

"Mind to attention to Damon, Elena," Asdrid speaks up, thankfully stopping the conversation from going any further. "He doesn't know what he's talking about," she glared at the oldest Salvatore. "Why don't I show you around more while we wait on Stefan?"

Elena quickly nodded, wanting nothing more than to be away from Damon at the minute, though the two girls didn't get very far as they turned around and Stefan was standing, glaring daggers into Damon's back. "Elena," he spoke. "I didn't know you were coming over."

"I know, I should have calledโŽฏ"

"Oh. Don't be silly," Damon cut the human off. "You're welcome any time. Isn't she, Stefan?" he smirked. "You know. I should break out the family photo albums, or some home movies. But I have to warn you... he wasn't always a looker."

"Thank you for stopping by, Elena," Stefan interrupted before Elena had the chance to reply, knowing if she were to say yes it would only cause more problems. "It was nice seeing you."

"Yeah, I should probably go," Elena replied, sending the tension in the room. "It was nice to meet you, Damon."

"Great meeting you too, Elena," replied the vampire, taking her hand a placing a kiss on her knuckles.

Elena awkwardly took her hand back before walking to Stefan, as she stood infront of him he minded her no attention, his eyes still glaring darkly at his brother. "Stefan? Stefan?" the Salvatore didn't reply, simply stepping to the side and letting Elena past, her lips parted slightly in surprise before she rushed out the house.

Damon blows out a whistle once Elena is out of ear shot. "Great gal. Whew. She's got spunk," he grinned. "You, on the other hand, look pooped. Did you overexert yourself today? Let me guess. Hospital."

"Someone had to clean up your mess," Stefan finally spoke.

"Well, were you successful?" he questioned. "Did the powers of persuasion work? Remember, if you don't feed properly none of those trucks work right."

"How long was Elena here?"

"Thankfully, not long enough," replied Asdrid. "Though that didn't stop Damon from being a dick."

"Why?" asked Damon. "Are you worried, Stefan? Scared we may be doomed to repeat the past? Isn't that why you play your game, I'm a High Scholl Human."

"I'm not playing any game," said Stefan.

"Of course you are," replied Damon. "But at least this time you've got a partner," he smirked in Asdrid's way. "We all know the closest you'll ever get to humanity... is when you rip it open and feed on it."

"What kind of game are you playing, Damon?"

"Guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?" he smirked before leaving the room.

Stefan sighed, looking down at the floor before glancing over at Asdrid who was still on the couch and looking at him worriedly. "I could always kill him for you?" she offered. Stefan shook his head, though he didn't fight off the smile that made way on his face as he made his way over and sat beside his friend. "You know, as much as I hate to say this, and trust me, I really do... Damon is right, you need to be careful."

"I know," Stefan groaned, throwing his head back on the couch.

"But if it makes you feel any better, he's wrong about the whole humanity thing," she spoke, Stefan moved his head to the side so he could look at her while she spoke. "He acts like he has everytbing under control, but in reality, he's just as screwed as the rest of us."

Stefan nodded, neither of the friends saying anything else just sitting together in a comfortable silence.
