Day

An hour or so later, the boys came upon the old junkyard. There was an old bus, and it looked super rusted and scorched from the sun. The sides were lined with abandoned cars and sheet metal. The sun shone brightly over the area, and it was really nice actually.

"Oh, yeah. Yeah, this'll do." Steve nodded before starting down the hill and taking his sunglasses off, which he had put on a few minutes ago. "This will do just fine. Good call, dude."

They started to arrange things, and put their plan in motion. Steve put his things in the bus, which was large enough for all them to fit in. The rest of the meat in their buckets were poured into a pile in the middle of the junkyard.

"I SAID MEDIUM WELL!" A voice was heard.

The trio looked up, seeing a smiling and waving Lucas Sinclair standing on top of the hill with two familiar looking girls. They started to walk down the hill towards the trio. Steve had a confused look on his face as he looked at both girls, "Who are they?"

"The brunette is my sister." Brandon answered as Dustin frowned seeing Lucas with his crush.

As Lucas, Max, and Beth came over to them, Brandon walked up to Beth and pulled her aside as the others started working. "Beth? What are you doing here?"

"Hello to you too." Beth said to her brother as she started working with Max.

Brandon rolled his eyes, "Beth, what are you doing here?"

"That Lucas boy, told me and Max about the stuff that happened last year, we told him to prove it and here I am. How about you?" The girl replied.

"Same reason." The boy said. "Is that the Max girl, you like?"

Beth blushed a bit, "Um...yes. But keep your voice down."

"Little Beth has a crush!" He said.

"Shut up!" Beth said to him as she kicked him the shin, making him groan in pain.

"This is amazing. She's the first person you've liked since, Ally." Brandon said as Beth looked at him confused.

"You knew I liked Ally?"

Ally. She was Beth's best friend in Florida. She was a sweet girl and usually liked to listen to grunge and rock. Ally and Beth did everything together and soon enough, Beth developed a crush on her. Beth couldn't handle her feelings anymore, so she told the girl but she rejected her and didn't talked to her since. Beth was not only left heartbroken but friendless. Brandon could tell something was up and he knew it was about Ally, since Beth and her hadn't talked in forever.

He soon figured out it was because Beth liked the girl.

"It was pretty obvious." Brandon replied as Beth was about to say something back when they heard a loud bang.

"Hey! Dickheads! How come the only people helping me out are Brandon and these two random girls? We lose light in 40 minutes. Let's go. Let's go. I said."

"All right, asshole! God!"

"Okay! Stupid."

They all started working their butts off for the last forty minutes, getting everyday ready for when Dart came. Even though, some people didn't believe what they were told, they were still having a good time.

When they were done with everything and the sun was about to set, they all got inside the old van. They had covered the windows with rusted metal so Dart wouldn't see them.

Now they just had to wait.

Max and Beth were talking to each other, and laughing quietly.

"He actually tripped over a Barbie doll?!" Max asked after Beth told her the time Brandon tripped over her Barbie doll.

"Yes! It was so hilarious." Beth laughed.

Max started laughing as well making Beth smile. Her laugh. It was so beautiful. Adorable. It could light up any room in one second. "Ugh, stop Beth! You can date girls! It's bad!" Beth thought to herself

"Hey, Beth. You good?" Max asked after seeing her zoned out.

Beth looked at the girl and smiled, "I'm okay."

It was a silent for a moment before Max whispered, "Your brother looks kinda hot in the dark."

"What?" Beth looked at her confused.

Max laughed. "I'm kidding. Maybe."

Beth playfully rolled her eyes. I mean sure she thought her brother was a good looking guy. And any girl or boy would be lucky to have him, but she always say she was hotter.

The sun set slowly and Max and Beth watched it go down.

Suddenly, Max's hand was placed onto Beth's making the brunette's eyes widened. Max looked down and smiled a bit before taking her hand off.

Beth turned her head and started blushing hard. The girl turned to her brother and saw him wink at her. She flipped him off while muttering, "Shut the fuck up."

He laughed in response. "What's so funny dude?" Steve asked.

"Huh? Oh..nothing. Nothing at all." Brandon said as she kept staring at his little sister with a smirk on his face.

Beth continued to hold her middle finger up which made the redhead skater girl, Maxine Mayfield laugh once again.

"God. I fell for this girl hard. She's so sweet. She's beautiful and she looks kind. She gives me butterflies. I would be Happier with her. But being with her....is wrong."

Also Brandon is being an ass, but a stupid funny attractive ass 😏

Max is right about him. I'm going to confirm this now...Max definitely thinks Brandon is hot and she's going to say it soon....that just made me think of the song Best Friend's Brother now. Lmao. Anyways, Beth and Max are going to have a cute moment next chapter and they're going to meet baby Dart 🥰 I've been talking for way to long here...um...hope you enjoyed and more is coming soon.
