♧ DESCRIPTION : The palace walls around the Snow Kingdom were built tall and strong, reinforced with a centuries worth of hate directed at the neighboring Flower Kingdom. Maybe it was jealousy because nothing beautiful could bloom in a land so cold, but the king of ice hated everything about the petaled things that grew just outside his palace gates. On the other hand, the Flower Kingdom wanted nothing but peace with the neighboring tyrant. What better way to achieve peace than the Flower King deciding to send his youngest daughter into the palace of ice in disguise? The mission was simple. Gain the kings affection. Build a bond with him. Reveal who you are, and show him that not all flowers are bad. However, once she's inside the palace posing as a maid she sees her mission might just be impossible. A man who's as cold blooded as the land he rules, his anger is unstoppable and the blood that's been spilled on the palace floors by his hands is immeasurable. When her identity is revealed too soon, she's now a captive, rather than a bargaining chip, and everyday seems like it might be her last. Despite all this, heros can come from strange places and love can bloom even in the cold, especially when the king's brother has taken a special interest in the flower imprisoned within the kingdom. A Palace of Ice and Blood is a story about hate, love, finding peace, and a flower finding a way to bloom through the ice.
