WE'RE BEING PUNKED, PEDRO
part two
GUINEVERE STOOD BY HOPE and Josie as the pair joined hands, a red glow emitted from the class as they casted a spell.
Suddenly, Josie pulled her hands back, doubled over and clutching her stomach once again. Guinevere quickly moved over to the Saltzman girl, placing her arms around her, holding her up.
"Why'd you stop?" Hope asked looking at the pain filled Josie.
"This is twin pain. Something's wrong. I think Lizzie's In trouble." Josie replied, her voice oozing with discomfort and pain.
Once Josie could stand without being in pain, all of the girls made their way over to Mr. Williams who quickly denied them to leave when they asked.
"I'm sorry, I can't let you leave."
"No, I need to go home to see my sister." Josie responded, looking at the man who was sat in front of her.
"Your dad's with your sister. And I'm under strict orders to keep you here." Mr. Williams was clearly determined to keep the girls in Mystic Falls, away from the school.
"What? Why?" Josie asked not understanding why they were to be kept there.
Guinevere quickly spoke up too. "Yeah come on can't you make an exception? She's worried about her sister."
"And why are you researching that?" Hope suspiciously inquired as she looked down at the books laid out on the table in front of their teacher.

After some serious conversation with Mr. Williams, all of the girls made their way through the front door of the Salvatore School. After they had taken down the containment spell around the school, of course. The door shut behind them as they walked further into the foyer.
"Lizzie?" Josie called out for her sister, concern in her voice as she did.
"I'll check the library." Hope said as she began walking backwards in the direction of the library.
Guinevere nodded her head in agreement. "Good idea. I'll stay here with Josie just in case."
The Elison and Saltzman girls walked around the school corridors, both on edge due to how quiet the building was. They had no idea what could be lurking around the corner.
"Hey Josie. Lizzie's going to be okay. I know you're worried but she will be fine. We'll find her, I promise." Guinevere said to the Saltzman girl, trying to comfort her.
Josie nodded her head in appreciation of the Elison girls words. "Thank you, Guinevere."
Suddenly both girls heard voices coming from nearby. They began walking faster, until the voices became more clear. "How did you take the containment spell down?"
"She didn't. I did." Josie spoke up as her and Guinevere came around the corner, coming face to face with Hope and Dr. Saltzman. "And I have questions."

Guinevere found herself walking through the school alongside Hope, Josie and Dr. Saltzman. All of them keeping an eye out for the Gargoyle and any of the students.
The group reached the room that Dr. Saltzman has said he told Emma Tig, the schools counsellor to bring Lizzie and the younger students to keep them safe. When they entered the room, it was empty.
"Emma?" Dr. Saltzman called out, trying to find the woman. After he spoke, the room separating doors slid opened to reveal Emma, Lizzie and the younger students.
When Emma made eye contact with the group, she quickly motioned for them to be quiet, holding up a finger to her lips.
The sound of heavy footsteps and growling reached Guinevere's ears and she turned around with the group to see the Gargoyle at the top of the stairs, glaring down at them.
Suddenly his wings spread open. As he let out a loud, ear piercing battle cry worthy screech, he flew down to the ground floor, directly in front of the group.
The Gargoyle quickly went for Hope, swinging the Knife, it so desperately wanted, at her. The Mikaelson girl dove to the floor, out of harms way.
Dr. Saltzman quickly ran out in front of the Gargoyle when it went of attack Hope once again, crying out the word no as he did.
"Dad!" Josie screamed, scared for her fathers safety. Guinevere quickly wrapped her arms around Josie's waist and pulled her back, stopping the Saltzman girl from running over and getting hurt.
The knife stopped just in front of Dr. Saltzman's chest as the Gargoyle refused to hurt the man. After a few seconds of eye contact between Dr. Saltzman and the stone creature, during which Guinevere had released her hold on Josie, they both grabbed on to the broken pieces of stone on the floor, quickly and successfully attacking the Gargoyle, causing it to break slightly.
The Gargoyle growled, turning to attack the girls with the knife.
"Fluctus inpulsa." Hope cried out, knocking the knife out of the Gargoyle hand.
"Josie. Guinevere, help me." The Mikaelson girl demanded as she walked out in front of the Gargoyle.
"How?" They asked, not knowing what to do .
"Just repeat after me." She then quickly grabbed onto Josie's hand, the Saltzman girl talking hold of Guinevere's. "Fluctus inpulsa."
All three of them repeated these words, the magic running through them. Wind began to blow through the room, until the Gargoyle blew up in front of them, broken pieces of stone flying through out the room.
"Nice job." Hope said, turning to face the two girls beside her. Guinevere gave her a smile in acknowledgment.
Josie instead turned around to face her father, tears in her eyes. "How could you jump in front of her like that? You could have died, Dad."
"Honey, I knew it wouldn't kill me, because my research said so." Dr. Saltzman said, stopping himself as Josie began to walk off. Guinevere quickly followed after her, worried for Lizzie.

"If you'd asked me a week ago, I would have told you I knew the difference between myth and fact. I would have said that supernaturals were limited to the species under this roof." Dr. Saltzman said to the school body during a makeshift assembly.
"I would have said that folklore and fairy tales were just stories. But I can no longer say that any of that's true.'Cause just a few days ago, we were confronted by the existence of a dragon."
As he finished speaking, murmurs of people in shock reached Guinevere's ears as sat on a table surface next to Hope due to the fact that at that very moment, Josie had yet to speak to her since the Gargoyle attack.
"And then today, our campus was terrorized by a gargoyle come to life. Some of us were forced to fight. We won. This time. They were drawn here by a knife that went missing earlier this week. And for whatever reason, these creatures consider us to be the enemy."
The headmaster continued. "In their minds, we're the villains because we won't give them what they want. We don't even know why they want it. But we're gonna find out. I can't say for sure what their true intentions are. I can't say there won't be more attacks. That's why I'm telling you this. To warn you. To ask you to look out for each other."
"To do what's best for one another. Because we're more than just a school. We're a family. And we will stand together, we will fight together, and we will win or lose this battle together, no matter what comes next."
After Dr. Saltzman has finished his speech and everyone was allowed to leave, Guinevere quickly followed after Josie and Lizzie.
"Lizzie, Hey." Guinevere called out, the sound her voice stopping the Saltzman twins in their tracks. They both turned to see the Elison girl walking up to them. "How are you? Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm a lot better now." Lizzie nodded her head as she spoke, confirming that she had begun to revert back to her old health status.
Guinevere smiled, glad that the blonde was okay. "That's great, Lizzie. Would you mind if I spoke to Josie for a few minutes?"
"Whatever you have to say to me, you can say in front of Lizzie." Josie spoke up for the first time, grabbing on to her sister, who had began to move.
The Elison girl nodded, taking a deep breath before she spoke. "Josie listen. I know that you are pissed at me for stopping you from helping your Dad and I don't blame you." The blonde began, her palms sweating as she spoke.
"But I will not apologise for trying to protect you because you, Josie Saltzman, are slowly becoming a very important person in my life and I protect those whom I care about. So if you don't like, tough. Because I will never stopped trying to protect you, no matter how long it takes you to speak me again or if you never do."
Both Josie and Lizzie looked blown away by the girls words. Josie from how upfront Guinevere was being with how she cared about her and Lizzie, because the Elison girl had basically exposed herself for all to see in order to get Josie's forgiveness.
When Josie didn't speak, Guinevere sighed before taking a step back. "It's your move, Saltzman."
Then the blonde turned around and walked away from the Saltzman twins, happy she had told Josie the truth instead of begging for her forgiveness.
