"That looks good," Hawk's voice pulled Kalina from the sketch she finally managed to start, it was a wolf but she still felt like she was on a path to the girl she was born to be. "Thanks," Kalina replied sharply, she didn't really know what to expect talking to Hawk. "I, uh...I noticed your disappointment at Valley Fest," Hawk spoke causing Kalina's guard to falter, the boy sounded like Eli at that moment and she wasn't sure how to respond. It had been some time since the Valley Fest, she was still very disappointed in her father who could've been more considerate.

"Yeah, well... Robby, Sam and Sensei LaRusso worked hard on their presentation last minute until Cobra Kai crashed the party out of spite and jealousy," Kalina replied, she didn't take her eyes away from her sketch even as Hawk sat down next to her, leaning back against the wall. "Come on, Kalina. It's friendly banter," Hawk told her before sighing at the eye roll, even he knew that it was more than friendly banter. The two sat in silence as Kalina focused on the shading of the howling wolf while Hawk watched her.

"I miss you and I'm sorry..." Hawk whispered to Kalina, almost like saying it any louder would damage his character. "I miss talking to you. Hanging out with you. It's not the same anymore," Hawk continued before letting out a slow breath. "I'm not the biggest fan of you and Demetri, but it's nice to see you both happy... even if it's not me bringing that ethereal smile to your face," And like that, Eli had made his appearance with his slow shy words.

Kalina's cheeks tinged pink before she looked up at him, the soft expression showed that he was genuine with his words yet unsure. "I miss this... us..." Kalina's blush deepened as Hawk's eyes widened slightly with hope pooling in them, she cleared her throat and looked back at her sketchpad. "I mean... I miss our friendship. The soft-spoken words, the movie nights and the random calls till all hours of the morning," Kalina expressed openly before looking back at Hawk.

"I know things aren't the best between you and your dad, but... you two should talk. Bert heard how you handled Kreese at the show, you're still a badass. Handle that shit, you know," Hawk expressed before the two laughed together. "You know... when you first... flipped the script... I was worried that the confidence would overthrow the good kid I became friends with... And for a while, it did," Kalina told Hawk as she looked up at him.

"I just really hope that one of these days, Hawk and Eli can meet at the halfway point... Because I know for a fact that a pretty awesome and badass dude is gonna come out of that. And I look forward to that day," Kalina told Hawk before letting out a breath, she leaned over and kissed his cheek before closing her sketchpad. "Maybe... things will be better between us in time," Kalina told him before she got up and walked away leaving Hawk with the ghost of her lips on his cheek and a soft smile on his face.

Kalina was sitting on the couch in the living room with a pizza, Friends playing on the TV as she sipped her cola. Her phone began ringing pulling her out of her thoughts about Chandler, she looked down to see Demetri calling her. "Hey 'Metri," Kalina answered with a smile on her face, she leaned back against the couch enjoying the lack of her father. "I was punched in the face by Kreese and Hawk thinks that I'm a pussy," Demetri explained before sighing, Eli was back to being Hawk; Well, Rome wasn't built in a day.

"Well, Hawk's opinion doesn't matter, remember? And what do you mean Kreese punched you?" Kalina asked as she sat up straight. "I went in to give Cobra Kai a second chance but the guy sucker-punched me and there was no way, I was sticking around for that," Demetri explained while Kalina took deep breaths to stop herself from hunting the man down and punching him for revenge. "What will you do now?" Kalina asked Demetri, she needed to distract herself.

"I'm gonna check out Miyagi-do as I should've in the first place. Considering our lessons never go to plan," Demetri answered bringing a smile to Kalina's face. "I truly believe that is a better and safer option for you. And I mean that respectfully. And plus, they don't go to plan because of you," Kalina told him with a giggle, Demetri laughed on the other side of the phone. "I know. Maybe you should consider joining with me, it'd make it better for me. And don't blame me, it's your fault for being kissable," Demetri expressed to Kalina who sighed with a smile. "I'm more likely to be a distraction for you as mentioned," Kalina replied as the front door was unlocked.

"Look, my father just got home. I'll talk to you tomorrow!" Kalina told Demetri allowing him time to say goodbye back before she hung up. "Pizza?" Kalina offered her father as he moved to walk past her, he didn't want to overstep after the fight. "Uh, yeah. Pepperoni?" Johnny asked his daughter as he sat down next to her. "Of course, it's that or meat-lovers," Kalina answered him with a teasing smile, the older Lawrence smiled back before biting into his slice.

The two ate in silence as they watched Friends play through season four, Kalina looked down at her phone to see an encouraging message from Hawk about talking to her father. "I, uh...had some time to think and... I don't want Kreese to get between us, dad. I can't fully forgive you for the fight but I can... let you earn that forgiveness back," Kalina said as she turned to her father, he nodded instantly. "Of course, that's all I could ask for," Johnny replied before they both leaned back into the couch.

"So how are you and, uh, Demetri?" Johnny asked Kalina who smiled. "We are good, despite his dislike for Cobra Kai. But other than that, things are really good between us," Kalina answered her father who nodded before letting out a slow breath. "And what about Hawk?" Johnny asked Kalina. She furrowed her brows before looking at her father, "What about Hawk?" Johnny shrugged as he looked from the TV to his daughter, "He talks about you often."

"He does?" Kalina asked with a confused expression. "Yeah. Whenever someone does something wrong ─ knowing you'd do it better ─ he corrects them by claiming you would say this or say that. Miguel does it too but Hawk is always bringing you up somewhere in the conversation," Johnny explained to Kalina who shrunk down in her seat. The encounter she had earlier with him played through her mind, she remembered the butterflies she felt with him in that very moment.

"I, uh─I don't know. We spoke earlier and I feel like we could become friends again but it may take some time, you know?" Kalina told him before looking at her phone. "Time works, Kali. And that's all Hawk and I could ask for," Johnny said before he leaned over and kissed Kalina's head. "Thanks for the pizza. Get some rest and I'll see you in the morning," Johnny told her before making his way out of the living room toward his own room.

Kalina sat in silence for a few minutes before grabbing her bag, keys and phone. She made her way out of the apartment, locking the door before walking over to the Diaz apartment. She knocked on the door, knowing it was late, and waited for someone to answer. Miguel opened the door and smiled once he noticed Kalina standing there, "Hey Kali, what's up?" Kalina smiled and threw her bag at him. "I'm staying the night, movies and snacks. Let's go," Kalina answered before walking past him.

Carmen laughed as Kalina kissed her cheek, "Hey mama Diaz, Yaya. Don't mind us." Miguel's smile widened before the two made their way into Miguel's room, the Diaz boy turned on his laptop and they got comfortable under the blankets. "What are we watching?" Miguel asked Kalina who thought for a moment. "Teen Wolf," Kalina answered with a grin before shoving a handful of M&M's into her mouth, Miguel put the show on and the two spent the night laughing and smiling.
