"You cannot be serious?!" Kalina snapped as she looked at Robby who nodded before biting into his burger. "God... I can't stand her," Kalina muttered as she leaned back against her seat. After Johnny and Miguel left in the morning, without saying a word to Kalina, she called Robby and picked him up so the two could have lunch together. Robby had explained how their mother practically took off without a care in the word about Robby's feelings. "We have some serious deadbeat parents," Robby stated before looking at Kalina ready for her to defend Johnny.

"Yeah... you are right about that," Kalina shrugged before looking at Robby who had wide eyes. "No defending dad?" Robby asked before noticing the sadness and anger battling behind her eyes like the wind and the sea. "Nope..." Kalina muttered in a quiet voice before sipping from her shake. "What's going on?" Robby asked her, his full attention on his little sister. "It's just... since the tournament, dads been distant with me and I think... I think he's disappointed in my loss..." Kalina blinked back tears.

"I've been working so hard to keep him proud of me... showing him that I'm more than just Kalina... that I'm a Lawrence... and on top of that... the falling out with Hawk and even Miguel has been distant with me... he was my best friend and now... it's like all I have left is you and Demetri," Kalina explained as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Dad has me out of Cobra Kai due to my leg and shoulder... but we both know I'm all clear so I just think... he's disappointed in me," Kalina finished before looking up at Robby with a frown.

"Kali... You are one of ─ if not the best ─ fighters I have met. That guy used an illegal move on you otherwise you would've won, plus you kept going when you should've backed down and that makes me proud," Robby told her as he wiped another tear away from her cheek. "Don't spend forever trying to make him proud because it'll only make you drown. And as for Hawk and Miguel, you don't need them. Prove to all of them that you are strong 'cause you are," Robby explained with a smile on his face.

"What would I do without my big brother?" Kalina asked him with a grin on her face. "You'd crash and burn," Robby teased before they both laughed. "Now about this Demetri?" Robby asked in a playful stern tone. "My boyfriend is a sweetheart though he could stand to learn a few moves," Kalina expressed with a laugh as she thought back to the few times she taught him Karate, now she can't successfully teach him karate without them ending up in a heated makeout session.

"Maybe you and him should join Miyagi-do Karate then," Robby suggested as he scrunched up his rubbish and shoved it into the takeout bag. "I don't know how well that would blow over. I mean, between Miguel, Hawk and Dad... talk about bad blood," Kalina replied to Robby. She hated to admit it but the idea wasn't unappealing to her though she knew the outcome of that decision and she wasn't sure she would want to face it. "Just think about it, yeah? They can't put you in second place forever," Robby asked getting a nod in return, she'd think about it, that was certain.

"What are you thinking?" Hawk's voice caught Kalina's attention as she walked in, her hair was no longer long and she had died it a pastel pink. "Shithead One and Shithead Two?" Hawk continued as Kalina leaned against the wall watching Hawk, Aisha and Bert stand in front of Mitch and Chris. "I was thinking more Mary-Kate and Asshat," Aisha voiced making Hawk laugh while Kalina frowned, she didn't like seeing them bully others.

"Well, I'm Chris..." Chris was cut off by Hawk snapping at him, "Did I say you could speak?" Kalina rolled her eyes with a quiet scoff. "Guys, look, they're just messing with you," Miguel assured as he stepped up next to Chris with a grin. "Thanks, man," Chris told him as they high-fived. "Besides, everyone knows your names are Assface and Douchebag," Miguel continued with a serious look before smirking.

"Wow... real alpha behaviour, huh?" Kalina spoke up as she clapped her hands slowly gaining the whole Dojo's attention. "Kali..." Miguel spoke as he noticed her knew look, her skinny denim jeans and corset top matched with her red jacket and her new hairstyle. "You look badass," Aisha complimented with a smile. "Whatever..." Hawk muttered as he fought his mind, his thoughts betraying him as he memorized Kalina for later.

"Where's my father?" Kalina asked them, Aisha pointed towards the office before raising a brow at Miguel noticing how Kalina was giving them all the cold shoulder. She walked past them without a second glance and made her way into the office where her father sat, he looked up to see Kalina standing there. "Nice hair," Johnny told her as she sighed. "Am I still on leave or can I come back? Or am I interrupting your perfect picture with Miguel?" Kalina asked harshly, she felt out of place as she spoke.

The two heard the door jangle before Johnny could respond to his daughter, her harsh tone was new and didn't sit right with him. Johnny let out a slow breath before standing up and walking out of the office with Kalina trailing behind him waiting for an answer. Her breath was knocked from her lungs when she saw John Kreese standing there with a smug smirk on his face, the younger girl went from stunned to almost homicidal. "You got to be fucking joking!?" Kalina snapped efficiently shutting up the entire Dojo.

"Hello Kalina," Kreese greeted as he held his hand out to shake but the pink haired girl looked at his hand like it was a disease before slapping it away. "How dare you show your face around here?!" Kalina seethed before Johnny looked at Kalina. "Kalina Laura Lawrence!" Johnny snapped in a tone Kalina had never heard, she flinched back at the tone and visibly stepped away from her father, something that hit the man more than he would let on; the genuine fear that shone in her eyes reminded him of the fear in his own reflection when he was a kid, yet he didn't stop.

"That is not how you greet a friend," Johnny sternly told her as Kalina took a deep breath to prevent from snapping or having a straight up panic attack in front of everyone. "A friend!? This man turns you into a monster. He is manipulative and we were changing Cobra Kai for the better and now..." Kalina trailed off at the look in Johnny's eyes, the same look that said Kreese mattered more. "I'm out... If he is here, then I'm done. Him or me, dad?" Kalina asked him sternly, she wasn't backing down even if it meant another parent abandoning her for someone else they consider more important.

"Goodbye Kalina," Johnny replied causing Kalina's eyes to water instantly, her throat went dry as her heart began to race. Her father, in front of everyone, chose someone else over his own blood. "I hate you..." Kalina mumbled making Johnny sigh before clearing his throat. "Don't mumble, you aren't six anymore," Johnny told her causing her to look up at him, tears fell from her eyes but they held anger ─ no sadness, just rage. "I hate you, Johnny Lawrence," Kalina seethed noticing how Johnny faltered at the words before she stormed out leaving Cobra Kai in her past.

Kalina leaned back against the driver's seat, tears flowed freely down her face as she took in the words her father said; he chose Kreese. She felt sick, her mind flooding with self-doubt and beliefs that maybe she wasn't good enough for her parents. She tried to battle these thoughts by remembering the caring words from Demetri and Robby but it just seemed to be a constant battle within her head. She began hitting the edges of the steering wheel while shouting out before lowering her head to take deep breaths, she sniffled before wiping the tears away roughly; she reached for the paper bag in her passenger seat before stopping.

She couldn't become her father, that would only make her feel worse to look at her reflection and only see the man that didn't care for her. She grabbed her phone and unlocked it, swiping through the names in her contacts ignoring certain ones before she came across the one she wanted to see. "Hey love," Demetri greeted once he answered the phone. "Code lilac. Are you busy?" Kalina asked while Demetri tensed up, after what had happened the night Hawk broke her heart, he came up with code lilac for Kalina whenever she was tempted to drink her problems away so he could help her instead.

"Never too busy for my girl," Demetri reassured her with a soft tone that made her blush, biting on her lower lip before she grinned. "So I can come over?" Kalina asked as she turned her key to bring the car to life. "Of course. I'll have Teen Wolf on ready with snacks," Demetri replied with his own smile. They said their farewells before Kalina pulled out of the parking lot and headed to the Alexopoulos household where she stayed the night watching Teen Wolf with her boyfriend who was happy to reassure her and wipe away the doubts with his own tatics; kisses. Kalina was beyond grateful for her boyfriend and her feelings for Eli began to fade with every affirmation and kiss.

Rosemary Speaks

Kalina Lawrence is gonna be in no man's land for a while... She's gonna be moody.

Also, I'm obsessing over her hair colour like it's so good. I wanted blue but I remembered that Hawk has blue hair at the moment and didn't want them to match each other when they are enemies.

And I want to point out that Kalina and Demetri have not had intercourse. Trust me, you'll know when that happens. ;)

See you in the next chapter!
