"All four of them?" Johnny asked the two teenagers standing in front of him, his stern glare on his daughter as she nursed her bruised knuckles. "Yeah," Miguel nodded enthusiastically. "Even that big dumb one?" Johnny questioned with furrowed brows. "Kali handled him, it all happened so fast. Everything just came together," Miguel explained. "Yeah. We were blocking. We anticipated. Miguel slithered," Kalina continued with a wide grin, she was beyond impressed with how well they worked together.

"Your mom's gonna kill us," Johnny stated as he leaned back in his chair, but the two teens smirked. "Well, she would if she knew. When the school called, my Yaya answered. Never seen her so proud, she won't talk," Miguel assured Johnny. "All right, so let me get this straight. You both took all the lessons I taught you, and you used them to straight-up beat the shit out of those punks?" Johnny asked. The teens looked at each other before nodding at their Sensei.

"Follow me," Johnny ordered as he got up and made his way out of the office. Kalina stood on Johnny's left while Miguel stood on his right as he opened the trunk of his car, resting in it were two white Gi's with the faded Cobra Kai symbol. "I wore this when I was training for my first tournament back in '81. The other belonged to my best friend," Johnny explained before looking to his daughter, the young girl smiled up at him.

"I want you two to have them," Johnny expressed, the two looked at each other with smiles. "Are you sure?" Miguel asked Johnny as Kalina lightly felt the material of the Gi, her mind content with the symbol of the Cobra. "Hell yeah. You two have earned it," Johnny expressed with a proud smile. Johnny held his Gi out to Miguel, the Diaz boy looked at it as Kalina grabbed the Gi that once belonged to Bobby Brown.

"That's it. It's the best thing I've got," Johnny told him until Kalina nudged his back, "Second best." Miguel smiled as Kalina laughed playfully. "Thank you so much, Sensei," Miguel held the Gi in his hands and smiled before the two embraced each other. Kalina smiled at the sight until Johnny grabbed her arm and pulled her into the hug. The three of them were smiling as they cherished the moment, none of them aware of the eyes watching with anger and envy.

Kalina smiled widely as Eli and Demetri approached her outside Cobra Kai Dojo, she was glad they were giving it a shot. "You guys actually came!" Kalina cheered before pulling them into a hug, both boys laughed and hugged her back. "Eli convinced me and I gotta admit, seeing you fight was hot so I thought I'd give it a shot," Demetri expressed as they pulled back from the hug. "I'll try to ignore the reason that you are here is to stare at me and just smile happily about my awesome friends joining the dojo," Kalina responded with a laugh, both boys amused despite Eli feeling that pit of jealousy in his chest again.

"Oh and, uh... My dad isn't... the nicest person and he is still mentally stuck in a broken time period of stereotypes and judgement. Try not to let him get to you," Kalina advised uneasily as she began to worry. "I'm sure we'll be fine," Demetri expressed while Eli nodded. "Okay, I gotta head in and get ready, I'll see you in there," Kalina squeezed their shoulders before turning and heading into the Dojo. Kalina, Aisha and Miguel took turns getting ready for the class changing into their Gi's before walking into the Dojo.

Kalina stood in between Miguel and Aisha, her hands behind her back and her head held high as she remembered what her father told her prior to the class. "I understand that I am your father but in the Dojo, I am your Sensei and I expect the same discipline and respect as any other student, do you understand?" Johnny's stern words felt foreign, even to him but she understood what he meant and she knew how important the Dojo was to him.

"QUIET!" Kalina shouted to the crowd of students, all of them went silent instantly. "Thank you, Viper," Johnny nodded to her before looking at the teenagers. Kalina fought the smile on her face hearing the nickname that Robby had given her back when they were kids. "Face front," Johnny ordered them before he began walking by them. "Nice shirt," Johnny said jokingly to Demetri. "Thanks," Demetri replied genuinely not quite sure why Kalina warned them. "I'm joking, it sucks," Johnny answered back before walking by him.

"Word of advice; if you got shit for teeth, don't smile," Johnny said to another teenager as he walked by them. Kalina and Miguel looked at each other before focusing ahead, Kalina fighting the urge to stand up for these kids but understanding that her father had a certain way of teaching; not that it was an excuse for bullying. "My God, makes me feel like a virgin just looking at you," Johnny says to another kid while Kalina looked at Demetri and Eli, she didn't doubt they could be strong but she was worried her fathers teaching wouldn't be right for them.

"When I look around this Dojo, I don't see Cobra Kai material. I see losers, I see nerds. I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out," Johnny announced, Kalina cringing slightly. "But my short time as a Sensei, I've also seen some miracles," Johnny added as he glanced to Miguel and Aisha, the two held their heads high. "So maybe there's some hope for you yet. First, I need to see where you're at. So everybody, fall in!" Johnny ordered but no one moved. "That means line up," Johnny added with a sigh.

Everyone moved into lines making Johnny scoff, "No, not... not line up in a line. Lines. Get in lines." Kalina went to speak but Demetri beat her to it, "You mean, like, rows?" Johnny closed his eyes in annoyance before nodding, the class followed the order while Kalina and Miguel shared a look; it was going to be a long day. "Fighting positions!" Johnny ordered. Kalina moved into her fighting stance, taking slow deep breaths as everyone followed the order.

Eli looked to Kalina, he noticed the stance she was in was different to Miguel which made him guess she was clearly more advanced than him. "Jab punch," Johnny informed them but some of them had mistaken it as a command. "Nope, wait till I say go," Johnny told them as he walked by them. "Hiyah!" Johnny repeated the word, the class jabbing each time. Kalina looked around to spot any major potential that would be moved to the front while those who need extra work would be at the back.

Johnny advised a few students as he walked by them, subtly nodding to Kalina and Miguel that those were the ones that had proper potential. Johnny got to the front of the class and turned his head looking straight at the one person Kalina didn't want him to target. "Hey, Lip!" Johnny called out gaining Eli's attention. Kalina stood up straight, Miguel grabbed her wrist to stop her from moving, Demetri took notice of that and smiled slightly at the girls willingness to protect Eli.

"Yeah, you. The one with the freaky lip. Who do you think I'm talking to?" Johnny asked Eli after the boy looked around slightly hoping he was the target of their Sensei. "Excuse me, Mr Lawrence," Demetri spoke up. "Sensei Lawrence," Aisha corrected him sternly making the boy raise his brows at her before looking back at Johnny. "You really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance," Demetri advised while Kalina bit down on her lip so she wouldn't speak up; she could feel her skin tearing under the pressure of her teeth.

"Oh, is that so?" Johnny asked as he stood in front of Demetri. "So, I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all?" Johnny questioned Demetri. "Well, yeah," Demetri answered like it was obvious. Miguel kept hold of Kalina's wrist, sliding his hand into hers as he noticed she had bitten down on her lip so harshly that it tore and began to bleed. "Yeah, maybe that's what they teach you in school, but in the real world you can't expect people to do what they're supposed to," Johnny expressed to the teenager.

"Right? You hear that, Lip? If you can't handle someone making fun of you, how are you gonna handle an elbow to the teeth?" Johnny asked Eli, the boy looked down slightly as he understood the words. He knew Sensei Lawrence was right, in his own hurtful way and if the boy couldn't handle someone picking on his insecurities then how would he handle a physical fight. How could he show Kalina that he could protect her the way she protects him if he couldn't handle being called a freak.

"By calling the police?" Demetri answered with a slight attitude, his protective nature over his friend was present and Kalina had to fight back a laugh. "Dude, knock it off," Miguel instructed knowing that Demetri was just making the situation worse for both of them. "What? He does realise the Nazi's lost the war, right? Why should I be scared of him? Because he's got a snake on the wall? It's not like he's a teacher who can give us a bad grade," Demetri snapped at Miguel, he took notice of how Kalina was smiling softly at him; his heart skipped a beat at her expression.

"We're paying him. He works for us. It's not like he can actually hurt us," Demetri finished off and instantly the tension shifted causing Kalina to tense up. "Oh, shit," Miguel breathed out as Johnny stood directly in front of Demetri, everyone else back away. Kalina let go of Miguel's hand and moved to stand next to stand with Eli, slipping her hand into his for comfort; he greatly appreciated it and tightened his grip on her hand hoping to keep himself calm. "You done?" Johnny asked Demetri. "What?" Demetri answered feeling intimidated by the older man; he couldn't see where Kalina's kindness came from.

"Hit me," Johnny instructed but Demetri just stood there looking at him. "Go ahead, hit me. Strike me right here," Johnny expressed pointing to his face. Demetri sighed before moving into a fight stance, his fist raised before he jabbed forward softly, Johnny slapped his hand away. "Harder," Johnny ordered, Demetri jabbed at him again but Johnny dodged it. "Is that all you got, princess?" Johnny taunted. Demetri threw another punch towards Johnny, the older man flipped Demetri causing the boy to hit the mat.

Kalina's hand squeezed Eli's as she winced at the sight, her heart was racing and she was beyond angry at her father and fighting away the anger was not easy as she glared at him. She couldn't interfere with his teaching, he was her Sensei in the Dojo, not her father, therefore she was his student and not his daughter. "Let that be a lesson to all of you," Johnny exclaimed before looking at his daughter, swallowing fearfully at the deadly glare on her face; he knew better than to anger his daughter, or so you'd think.

Later that night, Kalina took slow steps up to the Moskowitz household, she wasn't sure whether or not she should do this. Remembering that a real badass wouldn't hesitate, Kalina rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer the door. "Oh, hello there," Eli's mother greeted once she had opened the door. "Hi, is Eli home?" Kalina asked softly, she wasn't sure how the woman would handle this and she was beginning to regret coming to Eli's rather than staying with the Diaz family. "Yes, come on in," Mrs Moskowitz said before stepping aside.

Kalina stepped into the home and admired the large space as Mrs Moskowitz motioned for Kalina to follow her. "He's in his room. I'm sure he'd love the company," Mrs Moskowitz told her before knocking on Eli's door; Eli's mother knew who Kalina was and she was happy for her son. "Hey mom─" Eli froze seeing Kalina standing shyly by his mother after he opened his door. "You have a guest," Mrs Moskowitz informed him before leaving the two to talk. "I was wondering if that offer still stands," Kalina asked him with a shy smile.

"Uh, yeah, of course," Eli replied before stepping aside to let her into the room, she looked around the space and smiled at the sight of the posters. "I like your room, it's pretty similar to mine honestly," Kalina told him as she turned to see him standing by her with a sheepish expression. "You can sit your bag on the desk chair," Eli told her before taking a steady breath as she did, removing her jacket to sit it with her bag. The two sat down on his bed and were in an awkward silence before Kalina turned to him.

"It's pretty awkward, huh?" Kalina asked before laughing softly, Eli nodded shyly wishing he had more confidence. "Let's watch some Star Wars," Kalina said after spotting the movies on his bookshelf. "Sure!" Eli happily agreed before putting the first movie on, however, when he turned around he was frozen again at the sight of Kalina laying back on his bed. "You okay?" Kalina asked him worried she was overstepping and making him uncomfortable. "I'm great," Eli replied remembering to be confident. That night Kalina fell asleep cuddled up to Eli who couldn't believe his lucky stars, his arms around her with her head on his chest.
