MUSIC WAS CLEOTHA ROBINSON'S ESCAPE. She listened to it, cried with it, danced to it, lived it. It was every bone in her body and every hope hanging in her sky. She found comfort in the constancy of music, of the individualism of songs, of the places it showed her. After her dad's death, her sister's ex and his brother, the Winchesters, told her about the life they lived. About monsters, danger, accelerated heart rates, and best of all, no roots and no requirements. She chose their life, and she got revenge for her dad's death. But she didn't stop there. She found a home in the Winchesters, and in Bobby Singer.

STORIES WERE CELESTE MIDDLETON'S HOME. She read them, held them, watched them, and always hoped to live them out. They were her whole identity, everything she wanted to be. Since she was a kid sitting in her bed, her mom reading the hobbit to her, they've meant everything. After the accident that killed her father and put her mother in a coma, she was on the run, always. She changed her name, always meaning something in the story language she spoke. Stories were her found home, her safe space she carried with her everywhere. She figured out how to live faster than anyone should, and her home has been anywhere she finds herself since then.

Wanting a HOME and wanting an ESCAPE are two drastically different things, but in each other they found them. In songs and dancing, in late night reading, and in finding the SUNSHINE in all the dark corners of their lives.

AUTHOR SPEAKS

Charlie Bradbury was the lesbian geek we never knew we needed. Therefore, here I am, about to write a fic about her because I can't find any. I love Charlie so much and I love her dynamic with all the characters in supernatural. (I'm hoping to write some Charlie and Cas content, fingers crossed it'll be good). AND I loved Cassie Robinson when we met her, because she was a complete & total badass and I will not be taking criticism.
If I ever get some continuity error wrong and you notice it, please let me know. Supernatural is so long and infinitely confusing I might mess things up once in a while so yeah. That's it, I hope you enjoy the ride!
