one thing yoongi truly learned from his deceased dad was the art of letting your enemies know their place.
you may think that stuff is easy and quite obvious. if you're enemies, you're enemies for a reason.
no shit.
but it was difficult for yoongi to even think properly with having both hoseok and jimin stand in front of him.
"looks like minshit betrayed you." hoseok pointed out the obvious with a smirk.
starting from the beginning of all beginnings, just when mafia gangs got introduced to the world back in the 19th century, there were four main gangs, aka the first four gangs in korea. they were the jugeum, geomeun, malgeun pi and simyeon gangs. the geomeun gang and the malgeun pi gang, despite their differences, were on the same level hence why the rivalry between them began β one wanted to be better than the other.
the jugeum gang was honestly just a bunch of weirdos who probably needed a psychiatrist. they went around killing people for money or just for fun, which was why everyone was scared of them. you could never compromise with them, no matter what. if you met somebody from the jugeum gang, that meant instant death.
and out of all, the simyeon gang was always on top of its game. it was top tire.
there was no such thing as the best or the worst gang member β they were all equally unbeatable. they were the richest, they were the best, they ruled the mafia world.
in the mid 1900s, the simyeon gang was passed onto the son of the boss who got deadly ill, but due to an accident, the son passed away and the boss had no choice, but to pass his business to his daughter. she became known worldwide for being the first and the best yet female gang leader.
due to certain circumstances, she got pregnant and in the end of 1900s abruptly left, closing down the gang building, firing all members and disappearing without a trace. it was not only shocking, but also confusing because only a few knew of the pregnancy. she ended up dying after giving birth to her daughter and unfortunately, the little girl got into the hands of the gang members who decided to raise her to become a good leader.
but the thing was that... nobody had a clue of what was going on.
as it was now brought out into the light, turned out the simyeon gang has always been there. they were preparing for their return.
both yoongi and hoseok were quite young, they didn't know much of the simyeon gang, only old tales told to them by their parents. but the jugeum gang knew and they were the ones who brought out the truth.
when earlier today yoongi and hoseok got the news from the jugeum gang, their jaws dropped to the floor.
yoongi felt betrayed at most... things finally made sense when he found out that the signature sign of the simyeon gang was the crescent moon.
"sorry to burst your bubble, yoon, but that guy literally never gave off positive vibes, let alone the feeling of trust." hoseok took a seat on a chair across from yoongi who was deep in his thoughts.
"did you come here to mock me?" yoongi's hand went through his hair in frustration.
"we came here to remind you of this." hoseok slid the peace contract across yoongi's desk and noticed the first copy they brought him over a year ago on the edge of the table β the place it was always at.
"we initially wanted simple peace, no working together no matter what, but you can see for yourself how the tables turned..."
"you're telling me that now you want to unite?" yoongi's eyes scanned the peace contract that now had some modifications added.
"you're being absurd."
"absurd?" hoseok chuckled darkly. "neither of us have gotten to experience or see the simyeon gang work, thankfully. but I'm pretty damn sure you heard about them from your dad, your grandpa... about how dangerous they truly are."
"and?"
"and? min yoongi are you playing dumb?" hoseok raised his voice. "in case you forgot, minshit, aka your pseudo lover and apparently a spy sent by the simyeon gang, who chose himself to betray his best friend, stole all your gang's information. whatever you planned and have been planning is now open to them. they can do whatever, whenever!"
"I just don't understand why you are willing to help me!" yoongi yelled.
"the simyeon gang is our enemy. you think if they did this, they won't strike again? you think they won't come for us as well?" hoseok explained. "I'm asking for peace so we end them. you know that if they've been in hiding, preparing for this all their life, they will be much stronger than we can imagine. and we alone won't be able to fight them off."
yoongi only now noticed the sincerity in hoseok words. all the times before, he didn't sense it at all.
and it was true. hoseok's plan was to trick the geomeun gang, but now because of the simyeon gang, he reevaluated his choices, and decided that the peace contract would be beneficial to both sides.
yoongi truly couldn't believe minseok betrayed him. he tried to not show it, but he wasn't only shocked, he was also disappointed. both in minseok and himself. he lived with his biggest enemy for the longest time. and obviously minseok wasn't part of the gang since the very beginning, but yoongi knew how much he always wanted to be part of a gang. yoongi's dad didn't let minseok in and forbid yoongi from letting minseok be a part even after his death. of course, minseok felt certain anger because of that and probably didn't even think too hard before deciding to betray yoongi.
come to think of it, since he betrayed jungkook while betraying yoongi, that would make him betrayerΒ², which just went perfectly with his fucked up self.
"if you want to let your gang get ruined, and let simyeon take over once again, then, of course, don't do shit." hoseok remarked. "I'm surprised you want no revenge."
"yoongi..." jimin added. "I hope you're not forgetting that your gang was one of the first and most successful four gangs... will you let all those years of keeping the business up go to waste?"
"besides... we'll be the first gang in history to unite." hoseok chuckled as he watched yoongi make the most difficult decision of his life.
a certain deja vu appeared in yoongi's mind as he felt jimin's leg "unintentionally" snag his. he looked up and was met by two pairs of eyes.
hoseok and jimin were like yin and yang β the perfect balance. hoseok was mean, strict, intimidating and diabolical. jimin was more to the soft and slightly feminine side, but he was equally as hot and in his own way a leader. they defined each other and held power that made you want to fall onto your knees from the mere sight of them.
"this won't solve anythingβ" yoongi started, but was interrupted by jimin.
"or will it?"
"you know..." hoseok said. "talking is one way to solve this problem... we can just keep on convincing you and all..."
as hoseok talked, jimin stood up and walked up behind yoongi, placing his hands onto the chair yoongi sat on and slowly moving them to his shoulders.
"what...?" yoongi was intimidated.
jimin's hand slid down to his chest, hastily unbuttoning his dress shirt buttons.
hoseok couldn't stop grinning. he looked like some demented cheshire cat.
he stopped right in front of yoongi and tugged on his chin, making his lower lip part from his upper, he let go. yoongi licked his lips by force of habit and then regretted the gesture when he saw hoseok's eyes darken.
"wh-what are you going to do?" yoongi whispered, moments before hoseok leaned down and kissed him.
he felt the vibration of hoseok's moan of satisfaction travel through him. all his concerns were soothed the moment hoseok's lips pressed hard, urging him to open his mouth wider. his thin fingers grabbed onto yoongi's thighs, propping them up, one on each arm of the chair.
he became bolder, reaching up to slip a hand behind hoseok's neck and pulling him close as his tongue foraged into his mouth. he never wanted to come up for air. he made do with gasping in between kisses, hands going down to undo the top buttons of hoseok's shirt as the younger male's knee landed dangerously close to his crotch on the seat.
hoseok pulled away.
"thoughts on topping, jimin?" his eyes locked with jimin's.
"with pleasure."
