"why are we not getting any information?! it's been a week already! I won't believe that the geomeun pi gang isn't doing anything!" soojin yelled loudlyΒ and punched the table causing a glass with water to spill.
minseok quickly grabbed a towel and cleaned up the mess.
"maybe they decided to not do anything because we're not doing anything either. we're not attacking in any way, what are we waiting for?" jackson spoke up and immediately received a death glare from soojin.
"I told you all to wait, I'm working on the perfect plan, and it needs time. be patient." soojin responded bitterly.
"why can't we work on it together? why are you hiding it from us?! it's disrespectful, we work for you, why aren't you letting us in on things?" YJ supported jackson.
"I think you all forgot who I am and how much power I hold over you." soojin grabbed a pen and pointed at each one of the three sitting opposite of her. "I don't need your assumptions or advice unless I ask for it. so stay quiet and do what I tell you to do."
YJ rolled her eyes so hard it hurt. minseok didn't seem to be bothered at all, he acted weirdly today... jackson wanted to ask if something was up, but decided not to. neither jackson nor YJ knew about minseok's disorder and they suspected nothing, never seeing his other personalities. soojin knew he was supposed to get some type of treatment done, but decided that the pills will help him enough and ignored his state.
"is it possible they found out who our spies are?" soojin spoke more to herself rather than to anybody else in the room. "but they keep on doing the same things everyday without even giving the spies weird glances... are they pretending to not know?"
"well about a week ago after I fought that taehyung guy, I discovered a tracker in the pocket of my jacket. I'm guessingβ" YJ was interrupted by soojin.
"what?"
"I'm guessing he somehow placed it during the fight... I don't know, I got rid of it as soon as I found it." she continued. "but that happened after a few days."
"are you out of your mind?!" soojin yelled in a high-pitched tone. "how could you be so careless and irresponsible?! YJ I'm disappointed in you, what will happen now? they've probably found out everything about us and our gang."
"well, they were going to find out someday? if your perfect plan is so great, then why are you scared? it's supposed to work in any case, right?" YJ spat, her eyes dark.
soojin stood up and walked up to YJ.
"did you forget your place? you're letting yourself do too much. you think you can say such things after what you've done?!"
"how was it my fault?!? I didn't know he placed the tracker in, I didn't even think about it!" YJ stood up as well and raised her voice.
"you should've been more considerate!" soojin continued yelling.
"lee soojinβ"
YJ was about to say something, but felt jackson's hand on her shoulder.
"it's not worth it." he whispered and gave her a reassuring look.
YJ bit her lip holding in anger, she clenched her fists tight, making her knuckles turn white.
she gave soojin a death glare and stomped out of the room, closing the door loudly. soojin scoffed and rolled her eyes before leaving the room in a fast pace.
jackson exhaled and flopped back on his chair, eyeing minseok. the younger's eyes were locked on jackson and that made him feel uncomfortable. his gaze was different from before... much more dark and intimidating.
"what are you still doing here? go fuck yourself." minseok said in a dark voice throwing jackson completely off track.
"dude, what the fuck?" jackson gave minseok a weird glance.
"I said leave."
jackson watched the glass minseok held in his hand. he clenched it so tight, his hand started shaking. in a matter of seconds the glass shattered into pieces from the pressure leaving minseok's hand in cuts that began to bleed instantly.
"m-minseok... what are youβ"
jackson caught minseok's deadly glance and decided to leave without wanting to stay and see what will happen. he didn't know what demons possessed the younger, but they sure didn't have good intentions.
jackson rushed out and met YJ by the elevator.
"what took you so long?" she asked, leaning on the cold wall.
"minseok was acting extremely strange... I don't know, I guess it doesn't matter now anyway." jackson replied.
"let's go to the bar, I want whiskey." she said and walked past jackson towards the elevator, waiting for jackson to follow.
in the strip club, as always, the music blasted through the speakers loudly, strippers were dancing the night away, and others were enjoying their time watching them.
jackson asked for another barman to work instead of him for a couple of hours while he grabbed a bottle of whiskey and two glasses and headed to the secret room with YJ.
"who does she think she is?" YJ complained on the way as they walked down the stairs. "I hate her so much."
"why are you still work for her then?" jackson asked.
"because of my personal mission..." YJ explained quietly. "it the only reason keeping me there. I would've left a long time ago."
"what is your mission?" jackson questioned before opening the door. "you've never told me. at least give me a hintβ"
jackson and YJ stopped upon seeing three people they weren't expecting to see at all β jimin, jungkook and taehyung. jimin was leaning against a wall while the other two sat on the couch. their gazes met jackson's and YJ's, they were shocked to see them here. how did they find this place?
YJ exhaled loudly in frustration.
"I had enough of a bad day today and now you?"
"surprise!" jimin laughed and took out his knife.
"oh shoot, will you cut us with that little pocket knife of yours?" YJ chuckled darkly.
"I suggest you think before you say anything dumb regarding jimin and his knife skills." jungkook stood up and gave the girl a death glare.
"so you're not surprised to see me?" jackson smiled and placed the whiskey and glasses on a table. "I'm guessing you know everything. it's been over a year or two... took you long enough."
"are you proud of being a betrayer and a liar? dang, is it a simyeon gang thing? or are you and minseok good friends?" taehyung stood up as well.
the three of them were standing opposite of the other two, eyes darting through each other.
"has your shoulder already healed?" YJ looked at tae.
"how's your head? are there are brain cells left in it?" taehyung smiled fakely and crossed his arms.
YJ was the first to act. she rolled her eyes and grabbed the whiskey glass, throwing it at taehyung. he ducked just in time making YJ even angrier.
"your temper is quite something." taehyung said before hearing YJ scream and attack him.
taehyung caught her arms, holding them.
"your gang is made up of a bunch of weak asses who uses spies to find out everything, but now without them you're helpless, aren't you?" he smirked darkly.
"you bitch." jackson started walking up, but was stopped by a punch from jungkook.
"looks like somebody wants to die today." jungkook smiled wickedly.
the fight was obviously unfair since it was three against two, but jackson turned out to be hella strong. taehyung never noticed the muscles he had under his work clothes. once again taehyung was fighting YJ who from time to time tried choking taehyung, the action made him laugh, driving YJ crazy. taehyung noticed she was different today, soojin really messed up her mood this evening.
jimin and jungkook were busy fighting jackson who managed to take on both of them. his clothing was all cut from jimin's knife attacks, the blade was so sharp that even the slightest touch of it made cuts.
the room was by now a huge mess and thankfully due to the loud music nothing was heard upstairs.
jackson turned over a table and ducked behind it just in time before the knife jimin threw stroke through the table.
YJ punched taehyung's face, causing a nosebleed. jungkook, seeing that, grabbed the knife and ran up to YJ, being furious that she harmed his lover once again. jungkook didn't know how to professionally use knives like jimin so he went in and sliced it through the air hoping to somehow get YJ.
she stopped his arm right in time and caught jackson's worried eyes.
jungkook took a brief look at the golden jewelry around the girl's neck and didn't notice how jackson came from behind to push jungkook away. the sudden gesture caught jungkook off guard and he ended up accidentally leaving a deep cut on YJ's hand. she screamed out in pain and jackson grabbed her arm, pulling her in.
"let's go. it will be no use." jackson whispered to her and took her by the hand, abruptly running out of the room.
"cowards." jimin sat down on the floor catching his breath along with jungkook and taehyung.
"we ran away like cowards!" YJ yelled.
"does it hurt a lot?" jackson ignored her and got out bandages from a cabinet. they were in jackson's house, in the kitchen.
"I'll do it myself." YJ said bittely and tried tying the bandage over by herself but failed doing so.
jackson exhaled and sat next to her, trying the bandage carefully over the cut.
"this was a waste of time, we could've won that idiotic trio, why did you have to do this and make us look so bad?"
"because we should act smart." jackson stopped for a moment. "calm down, I knew what I was doing. and tell you what, I have thought of the perfect plan, probably much better than what soojin is working on."
"wait... really? why didn't you say so earlier?" she whined. "you're really testing my temper, j."
"I know... sorry, but I assure you that my plan will work, and it's something we'll be able to pull off on our own." jackson smiled. "we won't even need soojin."
"tell me! what's the plan?" her eyes sparkled with excitement as she awaited for an answer.
"in return... tell me about your mission."
"seriously?" YJ exhaled loudly. "why?"
"it's simply curiosity. I mean, it must be important if you do your best to tolerate soojin for it." jackson explained in a calm manner. "you've been always so secretive about it, I've been curious for years."
"okay fine, fine." she said. "I'll tell you."

jungkook carefully wiped the blood off taehyung's nose while taehyung watched jungkook's fish rebecca swim around her tank carelessly. jungkook's house always held a certain feeling of comfort and coziness, but maybe it was mostly jungkook's presence.
it never seized to amaze taehyung how jungkook was the perfect balance of hot and cute, mean and caring β he found it to be an extremely attractive trait about him.
"I think that girl has a personal vendetta against me." taehyung said as he watched jungkook get rid of the bloody napkins.
"yeah..."
"and I'm so mad at jackson, you have no idea." taehyung scoffed. "I hate liars."
"same."
taehyung stood up and walked over to jungkook. he grabbed him by the elbow gently, getting his attention.
"babe... what is it? something's on your mind."
jungkook stayed silent for a while before speaking up.
"taehyung... I don't know if I'm crazy or hallucinating or anything else, but I've come to something that sounds absolutely absurd."
"really?" taehyung was confused, not understanding what the younger meant. "what do you mean?"
jungkook went over to his night table and took something out of his drawer. he stopped right in front of tae and showed the object to him.
"I think...
that girl is my lost sister."
