✰ ⠀┊ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐄 ~ THE GREAT FALL ⠀┊ ✰

        PRINCESS MERA ODINDOTTRI violently choked up, and pressed the back of her hand to her mouth to make as little sound as possible while her legs finally give in to the extreme exhaustion; she and her mother have been on land far too long, and it was taking it's toll on their bodies. The redheaded mermaid princess falls helplessly to the floor as her legs finally give out. Mera's  vibrant sea green eyes had just watched in complete, and utter horror as her home world is reduced to a mere nothingness. She feels absolutely sick to her stomach because Mera knows - she knows - that there's no going back, and the place that she had always called home, that she had fought so hard to make to sure that she and her mother fit in, and had absolutely loved with every single fiber of her begin, is now, utterly gone. Completely gone from total existence, in what was like a mere blink of an eye. All Mera's spells to save, and protect the planet from her evil half sister, Hela, now felt like it was for nothing. Had been completely useless. Mera feels weaves of guilt wash over her as she holds her mother's bloody hand. She just wants to scream, to cry, and to yell with all the pain that was currently building and imploding in her chest. But, Mera just couldn't.

      Mera hadn't even realized that she was shaking. Shaking so uncontrollably that she hadn't originally felt the icy cold touch of her younger adopted brother; the only other person besides her mother that Mera trusted with her life. Which felt like a seemingly odd statement given her brother's rather vast betrayal streak, but the two siblings had a bound that was more then their rather complicated pasts. Their kinship was different then it was with their brother, Thor. Both Mera and Loki shared something in common that Thor would never quite understand. Something that made them stand out, in a rather horrible way, in the chaotic eyes of their dead father; both of the two siblings were considered monsters in the eyes of their people. They were the frost giant and the half mermaid. Their monstrous genetics gave them a sort of common ground. A ground that fostered a unweaving friendship that could never be broken.

      Loki could see all of his older sister's pain as clear as day; anyone, and everyone could see the pain in their Asgardian Princess as she weeped for their lost; The lost of those who weren't quite so lucky to  make it onto the ship in time, or all of those who had been slaughtered mercilessly by the bloody hands of her older sister, and for the lost of their precious homeland. All Loki could do to make her feel even the slightest bit better was to squeeze her shoulder reassuringly, and sit down on floor next to her. He slowly wrapped her in his arms, and held close his sister close to his side as he let her weep into his shoulder; the ship had grown rather silent as they mourned all slightly mourned all of their loses. Loki looked up towards his king, up towards his older brother, he was talking to both of his two soulmates.

       GERSEM   "EMI" ODRDOTTIR suddenly shared a panicked filled glance with the mischief god, before looking back at her two soulmates with the same level of utter fear. The ship suddenly shook even more violently, which resulted in the displacement of all of the ship's passengers. The ship's lights started to spark up as it shook; someone was firing at their ship; which didn't make any scene given the fact that they had been sending out messages about what had happened to Asgard and were simply pleading for some simple help. The redheaded mermaid princess managed to pushed herself off the ground, despite the extreme exhaustion that was running quite rampant throughout her body. More sparks flew from the lights as another blast meet their ship.

     " Mom?" Mera called out in a panic. The older white haired mermaid frantically rushed towards her daughter's side. " What the hell is going on?"

       " You need to get out of here." Her mother said quite urgently as she stared at her daughter with a rather pained look. Mera's mother, Atlanna, looked over at Loki; he was like the son she never had, and although Loki did think of Frigga as his mother, he does think of  Atlanna as another mother figure in his life; she had been the second behind Mera who understood the whole Thanos mind controlling him, and manipulating every ounce of him.  " You both need to get out of here!"

      " Bother, she's right." Agreed Thor as he made his way towards the group. He shifted to look back at their people; they were scurrying about the ship in a panic.  " We need to get them to the escape pods. Need to get as many as we can out of here." He advised to them.  " I'll stay behind to make sure everyone gets out alright." 

    " Thor..." Emi said in a sad and worried tone.

   " I'll be fine, beloved." He said as he planted a kiss to the top of her head.

     " So will I. And this isn't up for debate Mera." Atlanna told her daughter. Before could even get the chance to rebuttal her mother's statement, the ship shook again expect this time the blow was far more powerful and caused the ship to start to break apart.  " Go! Now!"

    " Everyone follow me!" Brunnhilde yelled before running off towards the direction of the escape pods. Emi and Mera shared glances with their loved once's before dashing off towards the escape pods. Loki paused and took one last fleeting look at both Atlanna and Thor.

" Protect them, my prince." Atlanna told him as she gave him a sad smile. Loki nod understanding before running off towards the direction of the girl's.
