   Prince Baelys Targaryen was the only son of Prince Daemon Targaryen and Lady Laena Velaryon. Named for Baelon Targaryen, 'the Spring Prince'. He was a dragonrider who rode Vermithor.

The White Rose were rumored to be everything his rouge father were and more, though Baelys was most known for his gentle heart, often called Baelys the Gentle by the smallfolk.

Baelys were taught to wield a sword by his father, Prince Daemon Targaryen, who wielded Queen Visenya's Dark Sister, though it was said he preferred the bow and arrow.

Baelys had Valyrian features; silver-white hair, and purple eyes.
