╰┈˚ · ° . WHEN THE SCREAM OF LYDIA MARTIN was hearable even in Cora's hospital room, I knew two things. One, Something was wrong, my best friend was hurt or scared or in danger. And two, what type of supernatural creatures she was. Her scream, one that I had heard before but never connected the pieces until now, the dead bodies that she continued to find, Morrel's words on how she could sense the supernatural. Lydia Martin was a banshee, and her scream, I had heard it before, in my vision. Followed by the clashes of swords.
But I couldn't stay still and think about that damn vision. Alec and I separated from Derek. Allison had sent me a text telling me that they were at school, Scott had sent one to my cousin to meet him at his loft. With a heavy heart he had left Cora with Peter and followed what the messages said.
When we arrived at school, the police were there with the medical examiner and an ambulance was parked in front of the school.
"Come one." I said to my boyfriend. The scent of blood coming from the theater was strong, but I made myself follow Lydia's one.
The police swarmed the school, and in a classroom, the English one, I could see the paramedics and hear and smell Natalie and Lydia inside.
Allison, Sebastian and Isaac were staying outside. My other two best friends were pacing back and forth in front of the closed door.
"What the fuck happened?" I said first thing. They snapped their heads towards us as they heard my pissed off voice.
"That fucking bitch tried to kill Lydia. I swear, If I get my hands on her-" Sebastian said, red in the face with anger. His pacing increased as each word fell from his lips.
"You what? You'll choke her with your sneakers bars?" Isaac commented with a snort.
Sebastian snapped all his body towards the beta, a finger pointed at him. "Watch what you say before-" He was cut off by Isaac pulling him to his chest.
"Okay, what the fuck. Can someone tell me what is going on? Because Lydia almost pierced my eardrums, and I was at the hospital. And now, paramedics are in there for her. So before I'll get answers by taking your memories, someone better start talking." I said all in one breath, my claws piercing my skin.
Tendrils of shadows sent by Alec wrapped around my wrist and fingers making me relax slightly, enough to make the claws go back. He came closer, his chest was a hard presence at my back, like his hand on the low side of my back, almost on my hip.
"Ms. Blake is the Darach. She tried to kill Lydia. We don't know why." Allison breathed out, her back coming in contact with the lockers.
"She what?!" I almost screeched.
"Oh fuck." I faintly heard Alec murmur but I was too far gone. I opened the classroom door and pushed my way inside.
Lydia was on a chair with a paramedic in front of her and her mother caressing her by threading her fingers through her daughter's strawberry-blonde hair.
"Lydia." I breathed out as I saw the already forming bruise on her neck.
"You can't be here, miss." A deputy came blocking the view of my best friend.
Almost growling like an animal, I glared at the deputy "Get out of my way before I'll make you." Without looking at him, I surpassed him with an additional shove to his shoulder.
"What are you doing here?" Lydia asked in a crooked tone. Her eyes watering, and voice rougher than I had ever heard. She placed a hand on her throat, apparently it even hurted to speak.
"You are the smartest person I have ever met so I know that you didn't think that I wouldn't have come." I said with a sarcastic tone kneeling next to her. I gave Aunt Natalie a small smile, before focusing entirely on my friend.
Lydia's lips wobbled, and then, her arms were wrapped tightly around my shoulders.
I quickly hugged her back as the girl sobbed on my shoulder. A minute or so later, I felt two other people adding to our hug. Allison and Sebastian. It only made the girl cry even louder.
It took almost ten minutes for Lydia to calm down enough for the paramedics to keep looking at her wounds. We stepped outside the classroom, waiting for them to be over. They would take her to the hospital. She didn't have any serious injuries but they wanted to keep an eye on her at least for the night.
"Were the fuck is Jennifer Blake?" I asked between gritted teeth as I watched the storm outside from one of the many windows.
"Stiles and Scott went to tell Derek about her." Allison then added "She kidnapped the Sheriff."
Something was wrong with this storm. And something was wrong with Cora.
"Okay, you wait for them to take Lydia to the hospital, I'll need to go to the hospital. I'm sure that she did something to Cora. She should be able to heal but when I tried with my magic to help her, it was like there was a barrier there." I explained, pinching the bridge of my nose and letting out a tired sigh. "I need to go."
"Alright, send a message if anything happens." Sebastian replied.
I called my boyfriend's name, he stood near the lockers with Isaac. I motioned for him to follow me, explaining my thoughts on Cora's situation as I drove us back to the hospital.
"Do you really think-"
"Something was wrong with her. I should have used my magic to understand what was wrong and not just let it be and hope for her to heal."
"You were tired, you are tired. All this situation with the Darach is sending you magic all over the place because nature is unbalanced. Don't be too hard on yourself, Amore mio." Alec said, his eyes shifting from the road, as he was the one driving my car, to me. But I was looking outside the window, not wanting to believe his words even if they were true. [My Love]
The car suddenly stopped. Manipulating his darkness gift, Alec willed a shadow to caress my chin, with their strengths forcing my head to turn towards him. "It's not your fault, okay?"
His eyes were like incandescent steel on me, still human but dark as the night. "It's not your fault, say it."
With a tired sigh, after almost a minute of staring at his eyes without glancing away, I said "It's not my fault."
"Why?"
With another sigh, I admitted, "Because I'm tired, really tired and my magic is all over the place because the Darack is making Nature unbalanced."
With a satisfied smirk, Alec closed the space between us until his lips were on mine, a slow and sensual kiss that finished too early. His thumb caressed my lower lips, "Good girl." He whispered leaving a kiss on my forehead before starting the car once again.
I couldn't help but blush at the choice of words. My weakness if he was the one that spoke them. His grin was a sign that as always, he knew what he had done. And was proud of it.
"Fuck you." I grumbled with a scoff.
Grinning even wider he glanced my way as the car just moved forwards "I love you too, little witch. Unfortunately, there is no time to fuck now."
"Oh my gods, shut up." I replied with an amused eye roll shoving him slightly, being aware that he was driving.
But he had succeeded in making me smile and forget, even for just a couple of seconds, the horrible day that we all had.

╰┈˚ · ° . The hospital was in full chaos when we entered through the emergency room. Patients were being evacuated, nurses and doctors quickly moved through the rooms to make it happen as soon as possible.
Cora's room was on the second floor, just where with our heightened hearing sense above all the noises of the emergency room, we could hear a fight happening.
Opting to take the stairs as they were quicker then the elevator, Alec and I rushed to the second floor. Following the sound of the fight we arrived in time to see Stiles smash a baseball bat to the head of the Alpha's twins— who now were transformed and merged into one giant Alpha.
Scott, coming to his friend's aid, jumped, his hand grabbing the industrial light panel. As it fell, it hit the twins directly in the face. And as they were still disoriented I moved in front of them, arm raised and palm facing their chest.
"Moventur. " I mumbled the spell. Ethan and Aiden landed just outside the double door, dividing themself to their two human form at the impact with the floor. Closing my hand in a fist, I followed with another spell. This one to close the doors and seal them. "Sigillum."
"Alright, let's go. Now!" Derek yelled.
We all followed him until we entered another room that held medicinals and other tools.
"Where's the big guy?" Stiles asked.
I moved towards Cora, who had been gently placed on a gurney by Peter. I brushed her sweet drenched hair away from her hand as the others continued to bicker in the background.
"What did she do to her?" I asked in a low tone to my uncle. His eyes held concern, even he would never admit it that he cared.
"I don't know, but she is not healing. And she started vomiting mistletoe."
I closed my eyes, taking Cora's hand in mine as I took a bit of her pain. "Stop, we need you. Don't waste your energy now." Peter said softly, yanking my hand away from my cousin.
"Is she really dying?" Scott came near us, his eyes locked on Cora.
"She's definitely not getting any better." Peter answered.
"There has to be something that we can do. We have to help her." Scott turned towards me, "Can't you do anything?"
"She can't." Jennifer Blake entered through the double door, a smirk on her lips. "Only I can. I can save her, and I can tell you where sheriff Stilinski is. But there is a pack of alphas in this hospital who want me dead. So I'll help you... But only when I'm out of here and safe. Only then."
At the sight of our teacher, the Darach, the woman who killed twelve people, who attacked Danny, tried to kill Lydia... My eyes glowed yellow, my fangs elongated from my teeth and my claws replaced my nails. With a growl I speeded towards her. My hand grabbed her throat, I lifted her up only to send her to the floor. Still with my hands, my claws ready to rip her throat, through the contact of our skins, my magic flared and I started to send waves of pain through her skull.
"Lizzie stop!" Stiles shouted, but I couldn't hear anything other than my rage.
As the first drop of blood dripped from her nose with a scream Scott rushed to my side.
"Elizabeth!" Scott yelled as he rushed to me, he placed a hand on my shoulder that only made me growl at him. "Not yet. Think about Cora." He said, ignoring my threat.
I felt his words calming my anger, making my eyes return to my human blue ones and my werewolf feature disappeared as I lowered my magic attack. But still I held her under the threat of my claws and magic. I might not be sending spells into her mind, but she could still feel the presence of my magic, like a claw scratching against her brain.
"Well that was hot, little witch, but unfortunately we still need her alive." Shadows wrapped my hand that was on Jennifer's throat. "And your magic is kinda bleeding all over the place. You are suffocating our enchanted sense."
I hadn't even realized that.
Sending a last glare to the Darach, I called back my magic, mumbling to the others an insincere apology, to which my boyfriend snorted at and I could feel the eye roll of my cousin and uncle.
"You really can't do nothing?" Derek, confused, asked, the rage in his expression was clear as he glared at his girlfriend— I guess, ex-girlfriend, now.
"I can't." I replied through gritted teeth. "The bitch is blocking me out."
"Blocking?" Stiles asked.
"She is blocking my magic from helping Cora. I can't pass through."
"A trick that I learned from the alpha pack. They too blocked any witches from tracking Boyd and Erica, didn't they? But I'm blocking specifically a Warren witch. Not she or her grandmother can help Cora." With a satisfying smirk, Jennifer replied.
"If you want to show you're one of the good guys, then heal her." Stiles said, pointing at the unconscious form of my cousin.
"Not until I'm safe."
"I'd like to volunteer a different method of persuasion. Let's torture her." My uncle suggested.
"Works for me." Derek agreed
"For me too."
"I'm in." I said after my boyfriend spoke.
And then, through the P.A. system, came the voice of Melissa McCall.
"Um, can I have your attention? Mr. Deucalion... Excuse me, just Deucalion... Requests you bring the woman calling herselfJennifer Blake
to the E.R. reception. Do this, and everyone else can leave. You have ten minutes."
"He's not gonna hurt her." The Darach quickly said, as if to not make us even try to think about the possibility of giving her to them.
"Shut up." Derek snapped.
"He won't!" Jennifer insisted "Scott, you know why. Tell them it's true."
"What does she mean?" Derek asked Scott.
Knowing that he didn't want to say it, I quickly talked first. "You know that if we kill her then I could be able to save Cora, right?" As I said that, I saw Jennifer's mask slip slightly
"What about the Sheriff? You kill me and he'll die with me."
I looked for a split second towards Stiles. He couldn't lose his only remaining parent.
"Deucalion is not going to hurt Scott's mom because," she turned toward her ex-lover, " You're not the only one he wants in his pack. Deucalion doesn't just want an alpha pack. He wants perfection. That means adding the rarest of alphas to his ranks."
A look of understanding fell upon Peter as he whispered Scott's secret. "A true alpha."
"What's that?" Stiles asked.
"The kind that doesn't have to steal his power from another. One that can rise by the force of his own will." A bitter smile formed on Peter's lips. "Our little Scott."
"But what's even better than a true alpha in his pack, is having a Hybrid too. A Hale and Warren hybrid." Jennifer added with a smirk of satisfaction as she looked at me. "And he wants that even more than just a Hale alpha.
"You think that telling them that Deucalion wants me in his pack so much that he would make me kill my own cousin so I could become an alpha, helps you? You think that we didn't know? Wrong, girl, we all knew that. We just didn't acknowledge it. Now, you're just pissing me off. If I was you, I would think twice about the next word that'll come out of your mouth."
"It doesn't matter." Scott quickly said before Jennifer Blake could make me even more angry, "We still need to get her out of here."
"Scott, your mom..."
"My mom said there's one more ambulance coming in 20 minutes. And I don't think we've been here that long, so if we can get down to the garage, get to the last ambulance, we can get out of here."
"The twins aren't gonna let us just walk out." Peter said.
"I'll distract them." Scott told us.
"You mean fight them." Derek corrected him.
"Whatever I have to do.".
"I'll help you." My cousin said.
"Um, sorry, but I'm not going anywhere without you, Derek." Jennifer announced.
"You really should think about what I said Jennifer." I told her with a fake smile.
"I'll do it. But I'd prefer to be out there with an advantage." Peter suddenly said.
"Really?"
"You?" Alec and I said at the same time with the same surprised expression, to which, my uncle responded with a deadpan look.
"An advantage like what? You mean like a weapon?" Stiles asked him.
"Something better than a baseball bat."
"Then let's start searching." Alec said.
We all opened cabinets and drawers, trying to find something, anything to use.
"Hey, wait. What about these?" Stiles suddenly said, in his hands holding two defibrillator paddles.
"Do you know how to use those?" Derek asked him.
"Well, no."
"Then put 'em down, Stiles." I said.
"Epinephrine?" Scott then asked, in his hand a large syringe filled with clear liquid.
"It's adrenaline. It's going to make them stronger. Get tired less."
"How strong?" Suddenly Peter asked.
"Enough." I said with a smirk catching his plan.
"Okay, then, let's go." Alec said.
"You're going with them?" I asked him.
He rolled his eyes "Yeah. You keep an eye on her." He pointed at Jennifer, "I'll fight the twin alphas with the ex-alpha and the one soon to be." He added with an amused grin.
I catched his chin, making him look down at me. "Be careful."
"You too."
"Are you two done?" Peter asked us, sending an annoyed look to my boyfriend.
"Ti amo, Mia Luna."Alec kissed my temple, whispering in my ear even if more than half of the people present could clearly hear him. [I love you, My Moon.]
"I love you." I whispered back, kissing his chest before looking at him with a cheeky grin "Please, use that trick with the shadows to gag Peter if he starts getting sassy, alright?"
"I'm sorry, gag trick? How do you even know that he can do it?" Peter asked.
I raised an eyebrow at him, not answering his question. But apparently he caught the meaning as he closed his eyes and gritted teeth as he sighed through his nostrils.
"Oh for fuck sakes, really?" Derek commented with a disgusted look.
"Boy, you better start running away from me." Peter said.
I took the epinephrine syringe from Scott, quickly stabbing my uncle in the chest, just where his heart was and pushing the liquid in. "Go and fight the alpha. Not my boyfriend." I sternly said, turning him by his shoulder and pushing him forward. Scott and Alec followed after him
Derek lifted Cora on his shoulder, giving us a nod. We heard the fight start, we sneaked behind them, using the elevator to go down and we sped walked toward the emergency exit and to the ambulance.
But as Derek put Cora on the stretcher in the ambulance, the scent of blood and the one belonging to Kali reached my nostril.
"Oh fuck." I said as I saw the dead paramedics bleeding all over the floor.
"Julia." The alpha sang the name. With the keys of the ambulance in her hands, Kali walked forwards with a taunting grin. "It is you."
"You can't beat her." Jennifer, or apparently Julia, said.
"Yes we can." I rolled my eyes.
"You are not killing her." Derek grunted, he took me by my arm "We're gonna run."
"What?" Confused and annoyed, I ran with the two, until Kali reached us just as we arrived at the frontal desk of the emergency room.
"Go!" I yelled at the two. Derek faltered for a second, but fortunately, Jennifer yanked him towards her.
I smirked at Kali. "I really want to kill her too, trust me, but the Sheriff is going to die if she does. We don't have much choice here."
Kali matched my smirk before she growled.
"Moventur." I yelled the spell. She fell on her back with a pained groan, and with the time she took to go back onto her feet, I was already invisible and untraceable by scent and sounds as I ran away from her and towards the laundry room where I had just heard Peter, Scott and Alec land by the laundry chute.
The thing was that Kali still had the key of the ambulance so we couldn't take Cora away, Melissa McCall was still with Deucalion and Jennifer, Julia, still had the Sheriff kidnapped and hidden away somewhere.
And as the seconds ticked, the more I was aware of how nature was so unbalanced that I felt its cry till deep into my bones.

Hello everyone!!
A very full chapter this one!! There is a lot going on in this.
I hope you liked the moment of friendship of the four guys, with Lydia crying with them. Definitely this episode had enough writing material to make at least two chapters.
I love traumatizing Derek and Peter with Elizabeht and Alec's relationship and sex life.
If you didn't notice, I love pet names, the creative ones even more. All my ocs have at least one from their love interest. What is your favorite one?
Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter, I'll see you on Thursday!
