╰┈˚ · ° . AFTER SCHOOL, AS OF PLAN, Stiles, Scott, Isaac, Alec and I rushed to the clinic to talk with Deaton. As we explained our plan to the veterinarian, Allison would procure the weapon that we would need.
"Xylazine." Deaton said as he procured the vials. "It's a tranquilizer for horses. For a werecoyote, expect it to work within seconds. So whoever's shooting, needs to be a damn good shot."
"Allison's a perfect shot." Scott replied.
"More like she used to be." Alec commented with a tight lipped smile, truth spilling from his lips.
The repercussion on Allison for the ritual, manifested in not only hallucination of her dead aunt haunting her, but also with so much fear that made her hands too shaky to have a perfect aim like she used to have.
"She can do it." Scott said back trying to sound convincing.
"Alright then, she can, If we manage to find the thing." Alec said.
"And hopefully she will not have another hallucination and shoot someone else instead of the feral coyote girl." Isaac's words were bitterly spoked even as he feigned nonchalant.
We could all agree that he was definitely still angry that Allison had shot his— uh, boyfriend?— We still had no idea what the relationship status was.
"Okay, what is the point of them?" Stiles asked locking eyes with both me and Scott pointing at the two other guys. "Seriously, I mean, what is their purpose? Aside from the persistent–" He moved his pointed fingers at Alec first. "Psychopathy and unhealthy obsession with his girlfriend." then motioned at Isaac, continuing, "And negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf anyway? It's 65 degrees out."
"The scarf is iconic, Stiles. He can't get rid of it." I scoffed dramatically, a smirk forming on my lips as I adjusted slightly one end of the navy colored fabric on the boy's shoulder.
"I am obsessed with my girl." Alec showed his maddening grin. "How could I not?"
"The fact that you did not say anything on how he called you a psychopath is very telling of my love." I matched his expression, my eyes traveling his body as I licked my lips. He was too hot.
"If you two could stop eye fucking each other..." Isaac nodded his head at Alec and I in a mocking thanks when we focused back before continuing, "Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into a girl, When she hasn't been a girl for eight years?"
"I can do it." Looking down, Scott admitted.
"You can?" Stiles asked, surprised by the statement.
"Well, he should be able to." I added with a winch.
"You remember the night that Peter trapped us in the school? In the gym, he was able to make me turn using just his voice. Deucalion did the same thing in the distillery." Scott explained to his best friend.
Shaking his head slightly, Deaton then said his opinion, "This is a werecoyote, Scott. Who knows if it'll even work if you can find someone who can teach you."
"That's why you called Derek, first."
"Yeah, I could try it on my own." Scott sighed, "But right now, I'm too scared to even change into just a werewolf."
"We need a real alpha." The human boy then said.
"Wow, cold Stiles. I like it" I chuckled amused.
Rolling his eyes, the Stilinski boy explained further, "You know what I mean. An alpha who can do alpha things. You know, an alpha who can get it going. You know, get it..."
"Up?" Isaac said, interrupting the other boy.
"Hard?" Alec added.
"Great. I'm an alpha with performance issues." Sighing again, Scott commented. He had been an alpha for only a few weeks and they hadn't been very easy. He totally looked like a kicked puppy at that moment.
"Is there anyone else besides Derek who could help?" Deaton asked.
"I wouldn't trust Peter."
"My uncle is with Derek. So he is unavailable too anyway." I said bitterly, hiding my worry underneath a roll of my eyes.
"Maybe the twins?" Stiles suggested.
"They're not alphas anymore. After what Jennifer did, almost killing them? It broke that part of them." Deaton told us. He had been the one to help them heal after Lydia and Cora had rushed here with the two wounded alphas.
"Yeah, but what if they know how to do it?"
"Nobody's seen them for weeks." Scott said.
"Well, actually, that's not totally true." I told him, taking my phone out from my pocket ready to call my strawberry-blonde haired friend. I spared Scott a look, flicking him on the forehead. "And stop looking like that. And feeling like that too. You are sending everything to me through the bond."
The corners of his lips slightly twisted up in light amusement. "Sorry."

╰┈˚ · ° . Offering Derek's loft as a meeting point with the twins was more of a sneaky revenge for my cousin then anything. Was it childish? Sure. But still, between worrying about both his and Peter safety and anger about their sudden disappearance, I would choose anger.
Stiles was the one that opened the metal door showing us the inside of the loft, but to the eyes, the twins were nowhere to be found.
"They said they'd meet us here." Lydia said as she stepped down the few stairs of the entrance.
On my side, Alec let out a chuckle. "They are."
And then the first punches came. Both directly at Scott's jaw before the two ex-alphas threw him down on the floor harshley.
Stiles was quick to grab Lydia, pushing her aside as they stood back and away from the three wolves. Taking my boyfriend's hand in mine, I strode to the couch, leisurely falling on it ready to see what the twins had in mind for Scott.
The true alpha was quick to get up but he did not anticipate another punch to the face. Ethan and Aiden did not pull any punches, not any kick as Scott fell down, his arms wrapped around his middle trying to protect himself.
"I thought you guys were gonna teach me to roar." Scott said through pained groans.
"We are. You do it by giving in." Aiden replied.
"Giving in and letting go. That's how Deucalion taught us control." Ethan added before pulling Scott back up.
"Hey. I've actually tried something like this one time but you're right, beating the living crap out of him is probably a lot better." Stiles commented.
"That's actually the plan? You kick my ass?" Scott asked in disbelief.
"You're afraid to turn."
"We're going to make you. You turn. Then you kick our asses."
"And then you roar." Eyes flashing bright electric blue, Aiden let out a roar, fangs and claws exposed for everyone to see.
"You don't think you can let go with us? You think you're going
to hurt us?"
"Come on, McCall. Give it your all. We can always heal."
The two twins pushed Scott between each other, taunting him, mocking the true alpha. And when Scott decided to fight back, his fist was blocked and in exchange, punches were served to him once again until he was on the floor once again bumping at the coffee table in front of us.
I snapped upright, eyes flashing yellow as I closed my right hand in a fist sending light spikes of paint to the twins. "This table is Italian. Beat the shit out of him further away." I said before relaxing once again on the couch and in the arms of my boyfriend who let out an amused snort.
"Sorry." The twins cleared their throat together, pushing Scott upright and away from the expensive coffee table.
Aiden was the one that resumed once again their power monologue, "You're an alpha. You want to roar like one, You've got to give in
full throttle. You've got to be the monster. Become the beast. Become everything you're afraid of."
"That's what gives you power. It gives you strength."
Aiden easily evaded Scott's attack, and with his elbow he sent him straight once again on the floor.
"Giving into it doesn't make you the bad guy."
"So long as you can control it." Ethan looked at his twin as he said that but Aiden was totally focused on Scott.
"Sometimes control's a little overrated." He said delivering another kick.
"What if I can't control it? What if I can't turn back?" Scott asked with blood-coated lips.
"Then it takes over. You become Malia. You get further and further away from being human. You turn into an animal." Ethan explained, and then his eyes left Scott for a quick glance in my direction. "Or worse."
"You turn into Peter." Aiden said.
I let out a scoff at that, rising from the couch and approached the werewolf to who I was bound with. "You won't." I told him. "Peter stayed catatonic for six years as he slowly healed more than half of his body from very major burn scars. And, after witnessing the slaughter of almost our entire family and pack. No one seems to remember that part though. He went insane, further away from reality not from control. Now get up and fight."
Bringing Peter in the conversation was not only wrong because they were two different situations but because of the trauma that Scott still had from being transformed and all the murders that followed in that period. He had no idea of what was going on at the time.
The McCall teen nodded his head in my direction, and with a scream of anger, he ran at Aiden who once again easily evaded his attack again. This time though, the ex-alpha harshly slammed him down on the table, climbing on top of him until he could land a punch after the other to the almost motionless true alpha.
My eyes widened and panic I grabbed Aiden's arm stopping him before he could deliver another attack.
"What? I thought we needed to help him." He shouted at my face.
Clenching my jaw I shoved him aside and away from Scott. "You are helping a bit too much."
"Go." Alec said, he too now standing up. He motioned with his head at the door and Ethan taking the not-suggestion, dragged his brother out of there silently.
That definitely did not go according to plan.

╰┈˚ · ° . The ride back to the McCall house was filled with silence. Scott was slowly healing from the damage the twins had done to him and was in no mood to breathe even slightly louder.
"Careful." I mumbled as I helped him sit on his bed. Still silently, I went into his bathroom, wetting a towel before giving it to him.
He took in his hands, but he made no movements to actually clean himself from the dried blood on his face.
"I failed." He whispered. His warm brown eyes pooling with tears.
"You didn't. Their method was the one that failed you." I replied as I carefully cleaned his skin for him. "It's like at school. I like to think that a lot of times if a student fails it is because maybe the method was not right for them. Of course there are exceptions. But this, they just beated you to a pulp." I stopped for a second, looking up as if in exasperation. "I can't believe that I'm actually going to say this but... it wasn't really funny. Yes, yes, yes, before you start, I know it's a miracle that I didn't find the violence entertaining." As much as I hated all the mushy feelings, finally seeing a smile curling Scott's lips lifted the weight on my heart that I didn't even notice was there to begin with.
"That is weird, true." There were still tears in his eyes, but at least he was smiling, even if slightly.
I snorted at his comment, chucking at him a clean shirt from the laundry folded on his desk chair. "Take off your shirt."
Scott dramatically widened his eyes, his tone taking a lift as he joked, "I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure you are still in a relationship. Alec would not be happy about it. And I see you more like a sister-"
"Oh for fuck sakes, I try to do something good, and look how it goes." I threw my hands in the air letting out a huff. "Change the shirt and go to bed."
"Sure." He chuckled as he changed his shirt to a clean one. "Are you going to tuck me in too?"
"Scott, I swear on god-"
He snicker under his breath before getting under his duvet. "You didn't have to help me." He said as his eyes locked with mine.
"I know." I shrugged my shoulders in reply. "No more self pity. Tomorrow is a new day or some other positive shit, I don't know. But— we are going to help Malia. Together as a pack. A pack that has a true alpha, not one with performance issues, because I know you. What is important is Malia. A girl that is trapped inside a coyote. A girl that we are going to help. Now sleep. You needed it." I turned around ready to take off when he called for me.
"Elle," His eyes softened, fluttering close for a second with sleep. "Thank you."

╰┈˚ · ° . It was early afternoon when the two cars and bikes breached the Beachon Hills Reserve. Out from the robin's egg blue Jeep, Stiles and Lydia were the first to come out, followed by Scott, who climbed from his white and green motorbike. He took off his silver helmet, exchanging looks with the banshee and human, and I was happy to see that hope blossomed in his eyes. A far away look from the one he only had yesterday.
I sent him a genuine smile as I passed Alec my helmet as he switched off his own bike, a matt black finish, bigger than Scott's own.
Out from the black toyota, Allison got out from the driver seat, her face stoic and on the other side of the car, with an arm lightly resting on Sebastian's shoulder, there was Isaac. Fortunately it seemed like he had gotten over the hunter almost killing Seb.
"Anyone else think we might be doing more harm than good?" Lydia broke the tense and charged silence that created around the group.
"We're trying to keep a father from killing his own daughter." Scott said in reply.
"Actually," Isaac interrupted, "we're trying to keep a guy from killing a coyote who is actually his daughter, who we don't know how to change from a coyote back to his daughter."
With a snort, Alec patted his best friend on his shoulder. I could definitely see why they became close friends.
"And again with the not helping." Stiles commented with a pointed look at the beta.
"As much as it hurts me to say this," I let out a sight, looking at both Isaac and Alec, "He is right. You two stop with all this pessimism. Thank you very much."
"When she agrees with me that is when we know that I'm actually right." Stiles fervently nodded his head.
"What did I do now?" Alec asked, mouth slightly hanging open with his flare of dramatics.
"Did you bring it?" Scott cutted of the conversation bringing back the seriousness. He looked at Allison, whose response was to open the trunk of her car and take out the rifle that she would use to shoot the tranquiliser to Malia. "Alright-"
And then a gunshot echoed around the forest.
"Let's go." Scott commanded before taking off on his bike following the direction where the shot was fired.
Lydia and Stiles remained near the Jeep, Allison and Sebastian kept up with Isaac as they ran, and with our supernatural speed, Alec and I moved further away from the trio.
And it took a second of distraction as Isaac's pained scream came from behind us, for my feet to catch a bear trap. Agony spread through my ankle as the metal dug into my skin making me fall forward. Blood stained my skin as it quickly dripped down into the earth.
"Elizabeth!" Alec shout pierced through the pain. "Shit, don't move."
"Where do you think I'm going?" I yelled between heavy breaths, my throat rough from the scream that had left my lips.
"Yes sorry, you are right." He was panicking. I could hear it from his tone, confused words, heartbeat and breath. His shadows frantically moved around him, his eyes shifting from completely to his human one. "Okay, I'm going to help you, little witch, alright. I'm going to open it up."
"Do it quickly." I said through clenched teeth as waves of pain made my leg quiver.
Alec kneeled in front of me, his hands touched the metal of the trap, but at the slightest pressure, my lips parted and another scream left me, burning through my throat.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He breathed out his panic through his words, tone shaking with unmistakable worry. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay." I whispered to him, biting my lower lip to contain the whimper of pain. "Just do it quickly."
"I don't want to hurt you even more."
"Alec, my foot is stuck in a bear trap." I glared at him, "Just rip it off, already before I snap your neck and do it alone."
"Look at that, you can't stop flirting with me even when you are hurt." The cocky smirk that his lips twisted into, I know was part there only to cover his rising anxiety.
"You are insufferable." I said with a touch of amusement. "On three alright." I placed my hands on the metal that surrounded my wound, my flesh flinching away.
"On three." He nodded. He kissed my forehead before placing his hands next to mine. "One, two-"
A roar, like nothing I ever heard the true alpha make before, resonated all around us, echoing through the reserve in the forest. My eyes flashed gold at the call as Alec's took their all-black color. "Three."
The metal gave in at the supernatural strengths, and with a last scream, I was finally free from it. I dropped in the arms of my boyfriend, my breath coming into heavy panting as the wound started to close and heal.
"He did it." I breathed out a relieved sigh.
"Yes he did."
And for the first time, I tried to use the pack bond. It was hard to distinguish the different strings of everyone, but Scott's was the easiest to find. I could almost feel the string disappear from my hand as I tried to reach for it. But when I was sure that it was enough, I sent a wave of proudness to him.
He did it. He roared like an alpha.

Hello everyone!!
I'm gonna be honest, this chapter was a bit harder to write, I don't know why. But that little moment between Scott and Lizzie at the end is something that I LOVE.
