╰┈˚ · ° .   WHEN THE BUS STOPPED FOR THE NIGHT, the expression on everyone's face was one of borderline disgust at the dingy motel before us. It had two stories with an U shape, and there were a couple of cars parked in the parking lot. The pain was of a dirty cream color, cracked and flaking. The neon sign, red and teal, said the name of the motel: Glen Caprì.

"I've seen worse." Scott said, trying to lighten up the mood as we all stared at the motel.

"Where have you seen worse?" Stiles questioned with a deadpan look.

"Well damn." I commented as I felt the energies of the place rolling against my skin, on my magic.

"What?" Stiles asked with a somewhat concerned look as he took in the hotel, glancing from it and to me.

"Oh nothing." I chuckled before changing the subject "This looks like the set of a horror movie." I said looking around with a raised eyebrow "I'll let you know if I see the Shining twins, Stiles."

"Thanks." the boy muttered sarcastically at my teasing.

Blowing his whistle, the coach rounded us all "Listen up. The meet's been pushed till tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and least amount of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up. Choose wisely." He started handing the various keys "And I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants. Got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!"

"Thanks for the advice coach." Alec smirked, taking one of the keys and sending a wink in my direction.

"I'm serious, Di Luna!" The coach yelled after him as he ran away with an arm across Isaac's shoulder pulling the beta with him.

"Lydia?" I turned when Allison called for our friend, only to see her with a clear look of a mix between fear, concern and anxiety.

"I don't like this place." Lydia stated as her eyes scanned the motel.

"I don't think the people who own this place like it either." Sebastian told her with a scoff.

In a softer tone Allison talked to her. "It's just for a night."

Her eyes were almost watering when she said. "A lot can happen in one night."

She could feel it. The death happened in the motel. Somehow, Lydia felt it. And that was something to keep in mind for when we would go back home and I could add that to the list of weird things that happened to her, and to try to understand what type of supernatural creature she was.

╰┈˚ · ° .  "How are you doing?" The sweet melodic voice of my grandmother passed through the phone. Everytime I heard it, it was instantaneous, it always succeeded in making me feel better.

"I- I don't know." I sighed. "Derek, he is- I don't even know at this point."

"Cora and Peter are still searching for him." Grams said. I could imagine her smile, always so comforting even from the phone. "I told them what my magic felt and we are doing everything we can to find him."

"You felt it too?" I asked, really hoping for a positive answer.

"Of course I did." She replied with a light laugh. "Now, tell me where you are?"

"In a motel, we are with the others. The meeting had been postponed so the coach found us this motel to sleep for the night." I explained before adding with a bit more emphasis, "Heavy energies here."

"Bad ones?"

"Definitely not for me." I couldn't help but smirk a bit as I said that.

My grandmother's laugh spilled from the phone, my lips softening to a genuine smile. The door of the room opened, revealing Sebastian with his hands full of snacks that he unceremoniously dumped on the bed that he and his cousin would share for the night.

I raised an eyebrow at him at the amount of food. "Boyd smashed the glass of the vending machine with his fist. I just caught the opportunity for free food, ya know?" He told me with a nonchalant shrug. "Is that Grams?" At my nod, a wide energetic smile spread on his lips. "Hello, Grams!! I miss you and your cooking!!"

Of course he would've added something about food.

With a booming laugh, my grandmother said. "Tell him that I miss him too and that when you'll be back I'll cook dinner for all of you."

"With dessert?" Seb asked after I told him what she had said.

"Of course." Grams said.

And then, the door opened revealing a distressed Lydia.

"Grams, I have to go now." I said, eyeing carefully my strawberry-blonde friend.

"Alright, call me if anything happens." She replied, and the phone call ended like that.

"Lydia? Are you okay?" I asked.

Wordlessly she came and sat next to me. She opened and closed her mouth before answering shakily. "No, I'm not."

"What is it?" Allison asked as she opened the door of the bathroom

"98. That is the number of deaths that happened in this motel." Lydia stated with a faraway look.

Damn, I knew that a lot of death had happened here but not this many— I thought.

"198?" Allison asked, in her hands there was a brush as she detangled her hair.

"Yes, and we're talking 40 years. On average, that's... 4.95 a year, which is... Actually expected. But who commemorates that with a framed number? Who does that? Who?"

"Let's be honest here, this motel is probably run by some very real psychos." Sebastian said, looking between us three.

"And they were all suicides?" I asked, ignoring the boy who was probably right.

"Yes. Hanging, throat-cutting, pill-popping, both-barrels-of-a-shotgun- in-the-mouth suicides. I don't know about you, but me, I..." She trailed off, her brows lowered in confusion "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Allison asked

"I didn't hear anything" I said as Sebastian shook his head when we looked at him for his answer.

After a couple of seconds Lydia stood up and hopped on the bed. Her eyes locked on the air vent.

"Why is she standing with her shoes on the bed?" Sebastian asked in a whisper-shout tone just as Lydia started to pant and gasp.

"Lydia?"

"What is happening? What are you hearing?" I said coming to stand next to her but still with my feet on the floor.

"Oh, my god." She gasped, stepping back quickly with her hand covering her mouth and jade eyes pooling with tears.

"Lydia!" I shouted helping her down from the bed before she could fall.

"What is it, Lydia? What happened?" Allison concerned asked.

"Did you hear that?" The strawberry-blonde haired girl asked.

"Hear what?" Allison replied with another answer.

"We didn't hear anything." Seb added.

"The two people in the other room... They shot each other." Lydia freaked out, quickly running outside of the door.

"Lydia."

"Lydia, wait."

We all followed after her as she frantically searched for the door of the room next to ours. And when she finally found it, it was already ajar.

"Hello?" Lydia asked, completely opening the door with tear stained cheeks. She tried to switch the light but it wasn't working.

"Lydia, what are you doing?" Allison asked in a whisper as our friend started to walk inside the dark room.

"Lydia, you are starting to freak me out. Please wait." Sebastian said with a pleading look that the girl didn't even turn to look at.

"Hello?" Lydia called in the dark room.

I made my eyes glow gold making me able to see in the dark. I walked inside after Lydia, quickly finding that the room was in the middle of a renovation. I switched on the working light so that the other could've been able to see too.

"It had to be right here. It was a guy and a girl, and, I mean, they sounded younger, but... They were here." Lydia started to explain, her tone on the verge of desperation.

"I believe you. We believe you." Allison said, making Sebastian and I nod in agreement. " After everything we've been through, we believe you."

"We'll understand what is happening, don't worry." With a soft empathic smile, Sebastian assured his cousin.

"Okay, let's just go back to our room. We will talk there." I said, switching off the light after the other had exited.

As soon as we were inside our room Lydia started to pack her things. "You know, there is something seriously wrong with this place. Allison, we need to leave."

"But they were suicides, not murders, and it's not like this place is haunted, right?" Allison said, making me winch.

"Maybe it is." Lydia stated

"It's not haunted but...This motel is filled with energy." I said "Energy of the dead, of their tragic death. When people die of a tragic death or even when bad things happen in one place, they leave energy residue behind. This motel has a lot of it. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to scare anyone."

"See!" Lydia shouted, her arm raised as he pointed in my direction. "You know, I bet that couple made their suicide pact in that very room. Maybe that's why they're renovating. Maybe they've been scraping brain matter off the wood paneling."

"Gross." Seb muttered with a grimace.

"Maybe we should find out."

And with that, we all went downstairs trying to find the owner of the motel only to find the woman that Lydia had previously met was gone, and a sign with 'back at 6am' was hanging on the glass.

"Well, there goes that." Lydia said scoffing.

"Didn't you say the sign said 198?" Allison abruptly asked

We all turned to see that the number was now at 201. Three more suicide added to the count.

"It was 198. I swear to god it was 198." Lydia said with a disparate tone wanting us to believe her.

"Okay, what does that mean, that there's been three more suicides?"Allison asked, trying to understand the situation.

My head snapped towards the doors of the room, my magic began to stir in my blood. Calling me forward, warning me of the incoming danger.

"No." I said with a gulp. "There will be three more suicides."

╰┈˚ · ° .  The four of us ran back to our room, quickly calling for the others. Stiles quickly joined us, Alec just minutes later.

"Last time I saw Scott act like that was during the full moon." Allison said after she explained to us what had happened between her and Scott before while she was showering.

"Yeah, I know. He was definitely a little off with me too, but actually, it was Boyd who was really off. I watched him put his fist through the vending machine." Stiles said

"Yeah and then we both stole from it." Sebastian commented with snort.

But Lydia was too freaked out to lighten up by the joke "See, it is the motel. Either we need to get out of here right now, or..." She took a bible out from a drawer "Someone needs to learn how to do an exorcism asap, before the werewolves go crazy and kill us."

"I'm not going crazy, though" I said, furrowing my forehead. "And Alec is at his normal level of crazy too."

"Yeah actually I'm at a steady five." He said with a lazy smile "I smoke a blunt so I'm pretty chill right now."

"How? You can't get high or drunk, Alec." Stiles said

"I made him a magic blunt." I rolled my eyes before looking at my boyfriend with an angry look "And you smoked it without me. Unbelievable."

He raised his hands up in a surrender motion. "Isaac was weird, he wouldn't talk and I was bored. And this place is a shit damp. I needed it."

I gasped dramatically "I'm not giving you anymore of them. You know how difficult they are to make."

"Alright can we get back to the previous topic. Crazy werewolf going mad? Alright." Stiles interrupted us, tone dripping with sarcasm. Before returning serious again. "Okay, just hold on, all right? What if it's not just the motel? The number in the office went up by three, right?"

"You mean like three sacrifices?"Allison asked following the human theory of human sacrifices.

"What if this time it's three werewolves?"

"Scott, Isaac, and Boyd."

"That would make sense that neither Elizabeth or I are acting differently." Alec spoke .

"Yes! A shadow wolf and hybrid do not follow the pattern. Maybe we were meant to come here." Stiles said.

"Exactly!" Lydia snapped "So can we get the hell out of here now? Please?"

"Wait, hang on. Let me see this." Stiles said taking the bible from Lydia's hands

"What is that?" Sebastiana Asked once stiles started to take out loose papers from inside of it

" '28 year-old man hangs himself at the infamous Glen Capri.' " Stiles read before shaking the bible making all the loose paper fall onto the bed.

"Oh, no. Look at these two. They both mention the room 217. These are probably all the suicides that happened in this room."

"So if every room has a bible..."

"There could be articles in all the rooms."

"That's a beautiful thing. Most places leave a mint under the pillow. This one leaves a record of all the horrible deaths that occurred." Stiles said, fighting his growing fear with sarcasm.

"Fitting for the horror movie motel." I added.

"What if the room next door has the one about the couple?" Suddenly Lydia asked.

Stiles was the first one to run towards the other room only to find it closed.

"No, that was not locked before." Lydia stated as Stiles continued to try to open it.

"Forget it. We need to get Scott, Isaac, and Boyd out of here." Allison said, trying not to panic.

"Yeah, let's go." Alec said, taking my hand in his ready to drag me away.

And just as we were about to run away, a sound coming from inside the room stopped us.

"I'm not the only one who heard that, am I?" Fearfully Lydia asked.

"It sounds like someone turned the handsaw on." Sebastian said.

"Handsaw?" Wide eyed Stiles asked.

"Move." Alec grumbled as he stood in front of the door. With a push the door succumbed under the usage of his wolf's strengths.

The sight inside was one literally nightmare inducing. Ethan trying to use the handsaw on his abdomen.

"Hey, no, Ethan, don't!" Stiles yelled trying to take the saw away from him. Alec quickly joined, taking it from the alpha's hand and throwing it aside just as Stiles' fell on top of it. Fortunately Lydia had just pulled the plug making it stop working.

Sebastian and Allison rushed to the human boy, helping him away from the deadly sharp machine, but whatever Ethatn was going through, didn't stop. With his claws out he stabbed them in his skin, Alec taking one of his arms, me the other, as we tried to keep him from doing more harm to himself. As my palm made contact with his skin my magic rushed out, but he was struggling too much for me to focus enough to help him.

"Help us!" I yelled to the others.

The other four rushed to us as I let go of his forearms and placed my hands on his head. I channeled the energy trapped in the room, my magic replenished with a new found power. I felt its presence inside his mind, The Darach had almost completely taken over. Following the lead of my magic, I released a static, and soon, Ethan was panting heavy breaths and his eyes were wide with confusion.

"What just happened?" He asked, looking between us all before he rushed out.

"Ethan!" Stiles yelled as we all followed after him.

"Didn't you hear what I just said? I don't know how I got there or what I was doing." The alpha said as he speed-walked away from us.

"Okay, you could be a little bit more helpful, you know?" Stiles said with annoyance.

"We did just save your life, dude." Sebastian added.

"And you probably shouldn't have."

"Yeah maybe we shouldn't have." Alec replied with a glare as we all looked Ethan going farther away.

"What now?" Lydia asked.

"I'll find Scott. You guys grab Isaac and Boyd. The best thing we can do is get them out of this place." Allison said, starting to climb up the stairs towards the second floor.

"I'll come with you." I said. I gave the others a nod before following after the Huntress.

───── ⋆⋅⋆。 ゚☽𖦹☾ ゚。⋆⋅⋆ ─────

╰┈˚ · ° .  "Where is he?" Allison said. We searched Stiles and Scott's room without finding the werewolf. "Where could he be?"

"I don't know, but I can track him." I said taking a shirt that was Scott's from the scent of it.

"Alright then-" Allison was cut off by my phone, ringing loudly in the pocket of my jeans. It was Lydia.

I didn't even have the time to say her name when she frantically told me to go to Boyd's room. That he too was under the Darach's influence.

"Start searching door for door, I'll find him by scent later if you have not found him yet." I said to Allison, leaving the shirt on the bed and already starting to walk away in a rush.

"Yeah, go." She nodded.

I ran to Boyd's room, there was a safe on the floor near a filled bathtub, where Boyd, struggling from the hold that Alec and Stiles had on him, tried to put his head under the water to drown himself.

"Do your thing!" Stiles yelled.

I placed my hand on Boyd's temple and let my magic flow freely knowing that it knew what it was doing, and soon, a static passed from my fingertips to his temple and the fog in Boyds brain was lifted.

"You good?" I asked as the wolf sat down with his back to the tub panting loudly.

"What the hell just happened?" He asked betweens panting breaths.

"No time for explanation now, sorry." Alec grabbed my hand, leading me towards his and Isaac's shared room. The wolf was binded by Alec's shadows on the floor, his hand twitching to have his claws near his face.

I kneeled next to him as Alec strengthened his hold on the shadows. And again, when my magic did its thing, a static appeared between the contact of the pads of my fingers to Isaac's temple.

"You good, man?" Alec kneeled next to us, patting his hand on his friend's shoulder.

"I don't- I don't know what happened." Isaac said. Cheeks wet with tears.

"We need to find Scott." Stiles said. Him Lydia, Sebastian and Boyd had followed after Alec and I in their room.

"I'll stay here and I'll explain everything to them." Sebastian said motioning to the two betas.

"Your sacrifice is noted." I said with a wink, to which he blushed at.

"Shut up." He said between clenched teeth.

"Let's go." Stiles insisted, already walking outside.

We met with Allison as we decided to search Scott downstairs as she had not found him yet.

"I can't find Scott anywhere." Allison said.

"It's happening to him too, isn't it?" Stiles asked.

"It has to be." Lydia replied.

"This way." I told them following Scott's scent.

But it wasn't needed, because as soon as we were down the stairs and turned towards the courtyard, we all saw him. Drenched in gasoline and with a red flare burning in his hand.

"Scott..." Allison called him, but he was totally immersed in his hand. "Scott."

"Fuck." I muttered slowly as we all walked near him cautiously to not trigger him.

"There's no hope." Scott said, his tone filled with sadness and trembling with emotions.

"What do you mean, Scott? There's always hope." Allison tried to get the positive words to contrast the one said by his ex boyfriend under the control of the Darach.

"Not for me. Not for Derek." Scott replied to her. The scene happening in front of us was heartbreaking, because if Scott usually had one thing in abundance, that was hope.

"Derek wasn't your fault. You know Derek wasn't your fault."

"It wasn't." I said.

"How can you say that?" He told me as more tears fell from his eyes.

"Because it's the truth."

He shook his head looking more hopeless by the second. "Every time I try to fight back, it just gets worse. People keep getting hurt. People keep getting killed."

"Scott, listen to me, okay?" Stiles said, trying to get his best friend's attention. "This isn't you, alright? This is someone inside your head

telling you to do this. Okay? Now..."

"What if it isn't? What if it is just me? What if doing this is actually the best thing that I could do for everyone else? It all started that night, the night I got bitten. You remember the way it was before that? You and me, we were... We were... we were nothing. We weren't popular. We weren't good at lacrosse. We weren't important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all." He held the flare tighter as he continued to cry.

"Scott, just listen to me, okay? You're not no one. Okay? You're someone,

You're... Scott, you're my best friend. Okay? And I need you. Scott, you're my brother. All right, so..." Stiles took a step forward, his foot hitting the gasoline pooled around Scott. "So if you're gonna do this, then..." He grabbed the flare in his hand too "I think you're just gonna have to take me with you. All right?"

Scott was sobbing as Stiles took the flare away from him and threw it away. For a second we all stopped, thinking that it was over, until I felt the Darach's presence moving the flare to create the fire.

Lydia yelled as she threw herself at the two best friends, sending them away from the gasoline pool as the liquid ignited in bright and high flames, The Darach appearing between them.

I channeled the energy of the motel, it entered inside of me, fueling my magic to another level as I stepped in front of the Darach. More and more magic was flowing through my veins as I used all the energy available given to me by the motel. I sent a wave of magic with a scream, the Darach screeched almost as if in pain, but they disappeared before the whole bulk of my magic could land. They had chosen a wrong spot to do this shit, because the motel had been Prosperum for me. An energy filled place that only heightened my magic.

I let out a breath, my magic returning to its normal level as I turned towards Scott.

"Are you okay?" I asked,

"Yeah, I think with all of that, you sent them away from my head too." He answered.

I looked at him, my magic sweeping quickly through him to see if he was right, and when I was done, I extended my hand for him to take.

He hesitated for a second before he latched into it and stood up. And then, I hugged him. I knew I had taken him completely by surprise when it took him a second to hug me back.

"Never lose hope, Scott, that is one of your best and worst personality aspects." I whispered with a grin before breaking our hug.

He let out a breathy laugh "Thank you." Scott said, but the sincerity was there.

"I think the Darach is making me see things." Stiles said "Because for sure Lizzie hugging Scott did not just happen." I rolled my eyes at him, slapping the back of his head without a second thought. "Bitch."

"Oh, thank you." I replied as that had been a compliment before wrapping my arms around my boyfriend's waist.

"Did I ever tell you how hot you are when you are angry and do all your witchy things?" Alec suddenly said, loud enough for even the non supernatural one to hear.

They all let out a collective groan as I answered "Once or twice."

───── ⋆⋅⋆。 ゚☽𖦹☾ ゚。⋆⋅⋆ ─────

╰┈˚ · ° .  We had collectively decided that the time to take a quick shower and grab our bags was all we needed in that motel. Boyd, Isaac and Sebastian agreed with our decision. We all had spent the rest of the night crammed in the seats of the bus trying to let the time pass quickly.

"I don't want to know." Suddenly the coach said as he and the rest of the students entered the bus "I really don't want to know, but in case you missed the announcement, the meet's canceled so we're heading home. Pack it in. Pack it in!"

The unexpected thing was Ethan sitting next to Scott.

"I don't know what happened last night, but I'm pretty sure you saved my life." He said.

"Actually, I saved your life." I said to him with a roll of my eyes getting my head up from Alec's chest.

"I'm gonna give you something. We're pretty sure Derek's still alive." He stated.

"I already knew that." I said, "So you are gonna need to tell us more."

"You knew?" Scott asked.

"Kind of. My magic still felt him. Peter, Cora and Grams were searching for him yesterday." I waved a hand in a nonchalant manner that made Alec snort.

"Thanks for telling us." Stiles replied with sarcasm.

"I wasn't sure. I did not want to get anyones hopes up." I replied.

"Derek killed one of ours." Ethan said after my explanation "That means

one of two things can happen. Either he joins our pack... And kills his own. Or Kali goes after him, and we kill him. That's the way it works."

"You know, your little code of ethics there is sort of barbaric, just F.Y.I." Stiles told the Alpha as he stood up and walked away to find a new sitting spot

"Coach, can I see your whistle for a second?" Lydia stood up, quickly taking the whistle from finstock's neck without waiting for his reply.

"I'm gonna need that back." The coach said with a pointed finger in her direction before he walked away to talk with Ethan.

Lydia blew in the whistle, her hand cupping the other part. She opened her palm showing us all her discovery. "Wolfsbane."

"So every time the coach blew the whistle on the bus, Scott, Isaac, Boyd..."

"And Ethan."

"We all inhaled it." Scott stated

"You were all poisoned by it."

"So that's how the Darach got in their heads. That's how he did it."

"But how I wasn't poisoned by it?" Alec said, confused.

"You were." I told him with a deadpan look. "It was just covered by the magic blunt that you smoked. And the Darach didn't need you because you are a shadow wolf, so entering your head wasn't necessary." I explained.

Stiles yanked the whistle from Lydia's hand, he opened the window of the bus and literally threw it outside.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! Stilinski!" Coach yelled. But the bus was already starting to move, and the wolfsbane filled whistle was left behind at The Glen Capri Motel.

Hello everyone!!

Big chapter today, and I really love it. So many things happened that I really don't know what to say, but I hope you liked the change I made to this chapter with Elizabeth's magic.

And the magic blunt!

I had already talked about Prosperum before, in season two. I don't remember what chapter it was but it was for the episode where Isaac was arrested for his father's murder.

Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter, I'll see you on Tuesday!
