╰┈˚ · ° . I WAS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY TIRED. My magic was draining me of my every energy. I didn't know what was happening or why, but I felt it, deep in my bones, that nature was in distress. I didn't know who to make it right. I only knew that I was so tired. It had been days since I hadn't woken up in the middle of the night, my chest heavy with my lack of breath, my hands trembling to put on paper what my magic wanted. A tree. That was it, or maybe not since I could almost feel its magic from just a drawing.
"What is happening in that pretty little head of yours?" Alec asked once we entered my room.
I groaned as I unceremoniously threw myself on the bedding, covering my face with my hands. "I'm tired."
"Yes I know." He stated as he rested his back against the closed door.
Peeking from between my fingers, I noticed how distressed he looked. His curly hair was a chaotic mess, deep bags were under his eyes, but still, his worry for me was palpable. I knew enough about him to know that he cared more about knowing what was happening to me than his own health. It made the rage that I had simmer slightly.
"You are tired too." I replied, closing my eyes.
He grunted as if dismissing what I had said. "It's your magic, isn't it?" Slowly, he stepped towards the bed until he was kneeled in front of me, his hands on my knees. "Talk to me, Elizabeth. Please." at my silence his words took a tone of pleading.
"You used your shadows to keep me still when my cousin was going to let himself get killed." I said sitting up. I couldn't look him in the eyes. "You were going to let me watch as another person in my family died."
Alec sighed. He closed his eyes and moved to sit on the floor with his back to the bed, his hands in his hair.
"I feel like you betrayed me." I confessed. That made him snap his head towards me.
"Ellie..."
"We are a team, Alec. We. I need you to be at my side, not fighting against me." A tear fell from my eyes as I spoke. I kneeled in front of him so I could look at him. "Do you remember when we were at the hospital after Peter bit Lydia? When we walked inside that room full of hunters that were threatening Jackson and Stiles?" He nodded his head as he too shed a tear. "You stood with me. You fueled my fire, my magic. It made me feel like I had someone who was with me even in chaos and madness. I wasn't alone anymore. I never fit with anyone. Too much witch to blend with werewolves and too much werewolf to be just a witch. You stood with me that day even if we had weapons aimed at us. You trusted me. You matched me. And I want that."
"I'm afraid." He whispered after a long second, eyes fogged by tears. His voice trembled with emotions.
"Of what?"
"I can't lose you Elizabeth. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm afraid of losing you."
I cupped his cheeks and with my thumb brushing away the tears that stained his skin. "You won't. I promise you." I neared my face with his until our noses were touching, softening my tone to a whisper.
"You can't promise that." He squeezed his eyes and clenched his jaw.
"I just did." I said.
Alec breathed out a sigh of relief, his arms wrapped my shoulders until he had successfully yanked me against him.
"We are a team." He said as he hugged me tightly to his chest.
"We are a team."

╰┈˚ · ° . "He what?" Sebastian asked Scott as we exited our last class before lunch period.
"Stiles think that these killings are human sacrifices." Scott replied, telling once again Stiles' theory.
"Human sacrifices? Really?"
"Yes, he is very convinced about it." The beta replied with a small smile to the blond human.
"Are all his theories like this?"
"Well, to be completely honest he actually thought that Matt was the master of the Kanima and it ended up that he was right." I said with a raised eyebrow to Scott.
"Yeah, I mean..." He trailed off.
"Okay why am I smelling so much anxiety coming off of you?" I asked, stopping Scott near the window wall of a hallway near the cafeteria.
"You can smell that?" eyebrows lowered in confusion Seb asked.
"Yes, but that is not the point." I then turned towards Scott, "Why so much anxiety?"
"Isaac is very determined to fight the twins." He replied with a huff "And they got him in detention. Apparently he is doing his task with Allison."
"They won't kill each other. Don't worry." I said before "Probably."
"You are not helping." Scott hissed.
"Calm down Scotty. It will be fine." Just as I said that, my head snapped towards the other hallway, my magic directing me. "Or maybe not."
Wide eyed, I directed the other two where I sensed we needed to be, and just as we stepped inside the hallways of the classrooms, the sound of snarls and growls could've been heard with our super-hearing, alongside Allison calling Isaac's name.
"Fuck!" Sebastian cursed as he saw a drinking vending machine blocking the door of a storage room.
"Help me." Scott said as we both moved the machine away from the door. He yanked open once he could, and quickly threw Isaac on the floor.
Derek's beta was completely shifted with his werewolf features, and he was completely panicking.
I quickly went to Allison, on her arm there were three scratches caused by the boy.
"I'm fine. I'm fine." The Argent girl said between harsh breaths.
Isaac still struggled under Scott's hold, until he said his name in a roar. I felt my eyes flashing yellow at the tone, but fortunately for all of us, Isaac calmed down. His human features had returned, but his panic was still very present.
"I'm okay. I'm fine." Allison said to Scott once his concerned eyes landed on her and her wounded arm.
"I'm sorry, I didn't... I didn't mean to do that." Isaac said as he rested his back on the vending machine, I could hear his heart still beating too fast.
"I'm okay." Allison replied.
"I'm so sorry." Isaac panted, eyes watering.
"What the fuck is happening here?" Alec's voice boomed as he glanced between us five.
"An accident. The twins closed Isaac and Allison inside the storage room and Isaac panicked." Sebastian replied as he kneeled next to the Lahey boy placing a hand on his shoulder, which seemed to somehow calm down the boy. Then, his eyes then landed on Allison's wound. "It's not his fault."
Alec's eyes widened a fraction, he gave his friend a look which Isaac replied with a not very convincing nod.
"Seb is right. It's not his fault." Allison said agreeing with the boy
"I know." Scott replied "I guess now we know they want to do more than get you angry. They want to get someone hurt."
"So are we gonna do something?" Isaac asked.
"Yeah. I'm gonna get them angry. Really angry." With a new look of resolution in his eyes Scott stated.
"Are we going to kill them?" Alec said after a second of silence.
"Beat them up maybe?" Sebastian added.
With a groan Scott replied "No and no"
"Not even maim a bit?" I asked, cocking my head slightly to the side.
Covering his face with his hand, Scott replied with another "No" but it was clear from the little smile on his lips that he had found us a bit funny.
My phone buzzed in my pocket. Once, twice. At the tenth message one after the other and a questioning look from the others, I fished my phone from the jeans pocket, seeing all of them from Lydia.
"Oh my gods, what now?" I groaned.
"What is it?" Alec asked with a narrowed look to his eyes.
"Stiles is getting on Lydia's nerves." I deadpanned.
"Let's get you some fresh air, you big giant." Sebastian said, slapping Isaac lightly on the back. We all raised our eyebrows funnily at him. "What?" he flushed a deep shade of pink.
"Big giant?" Isaac asked with a smirk.
"Shut up." Sebastian's cheeks were an even deeper shade, crossing the threshold with the red. "I'm trying to help you here, you know?"
Isaac's smirk softened to a smile as he stood up and extended a hand to help Sebastian up.
"Alright, I'll see you later. Let me know the plan for the twins. And call me if the plan involves any type of physical fight." I kissed Alec on the cheeks, gave Sebastian a cheeky wink, to which he glared at, and started to search for Lydia's scent.

╰┈˚ · ° . I found Lydia with Stiles walking on the second floor outside. The boy was constantly talking with the girl as she tried to not listen.
"So look, here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking that the murders maybe come in threes. Ancient people love things in threes, right? So maybe first
it's three virgins. And then, I don't know, maybe it's three people
who own little dogs.
"I own a little dog." Lydia stated as she stopped and turned towards Stiles. The boy just looked at her, expelling a sigh "I am not getting rid
of my dog!"
"Would you just think about getting rid of your little dog?
"No."
"Does Scott count as a little dog?" I asked as I made myself known to the two
Stiles jumped, he placed a hand on his heart before he glared at me "You. Don't do that ever again."
"Thank god you are here." Lydia said before continuing "By the way, you cannot discern a pattern by a single data point, So stop trying." Lydia said.
"Wha-okay, so what. I'm just supposed to wait around for someone else to die, then? I'm just supposed to sit there and watch them die? Just wait for them to wither up and die right in front of me?"
"Wither?" Lydia deadpanned.
"Aren't you dramatic?" I snorted.
"You know what I mean. Die, in just a hideously awful, strangulating, head-bashing, throat-cutting kind of way. Maybe it's not your job. You said it yourself, they were strangled with a garrote. That's a human thing to do, so... Maybe just leave the figuring it out part to someone human."
"You mean someone like my dad?"
"No, I mean your dad. The sheriff!"
"Hey, Lizzie, do you believe me at least, right?" Stiles asked.
"Sacrificing people with little dogs does not seem really convincing, Stiles."
"Okay, maybe it's not that but."
I turned to look at him fully. "I don't know if these are human sacrifices but... something weird is happening. And it's not because of the alpha pack." I said before interlocking my arm with Lydia's, walking away from him. "The twins closed Isaac and Allison inside a storage closet. Isaac had a panic attack and hurt Allison. Before you aske, yes she is fine. The others are making a plan to get some type of revenge."
"This is all a mess." She huffed. "And Aiden is continuing to flirt with me."
"Do you like him?"
"He is hot. That's it." She gave me a serious look.
"If you want to fuck him, go ahead. He won't hurt you, trust me." I said with a smirk.
"How do you know that?"
"Because I threatened him. Trust me, he won't hurt you." She rolled her eyes but I could see that something was bugging heer still. "What is it?" I asked her. Lydia gave me a confused look "Don't give me that look. You are thinking about something. What is it?"
"What Stiles said about the ' human sacrifices', about the first three being all virgins..."
"Yes, and?" I made a motion with my hand as to say 'continue'
Lydia stopped, she looked around us before her eyes locked with mine. "At the party, the one we went to see Scott... before you passed out from whatever witchy thing that was, you said something in latin."
"Yeah, Alec told me that." My eyebrows lowered in confusion not getting what she was thinking.
"Do you know what you said?" She asked. I shook my head making her sigh "You said Virginius. That is the latin word for-"
"Virgins."

╰┈˚ · ° . I was ready to go back home. I was in the parking lot when my phone vibrated. An incoming message from Lydia.
Bloom
Music room!! ASAP.
I groaned out lot, we really couldn't get a second to breathe in this town.
I walked inside the school and the first thing that I saw as I stepped inside the hallway, were Isaac, Scott and Alec sprawled to the ground.
"What the fuck did you three idiots have done now?" I said, breathing out an exasperated breath. They looked between each other, letting out only incohesive sounds. "You know what, I don't want to know." I started to walk away from them, not even glancing their ways once.
"I love you" Alec shouted
"Fuck you!" I yelled back as my lips twitched in a smile.
When I entered the music room, Lydia was pacing back and forth, her hand tightly holding a phone. Sebastian was sitting in a chair trying to calm down his cousin, without any success.
"What happened?" I asked
Lydia took a breath, her hand tightening even more on the phone.
"Mr. Hasting, the music teacher. He is gone." The strawberry-blonde girl stated, almost panting in her panic.
"Home ?" I asked confused.
"What? No!" She snapped.
I gave Seb a look to which he just shrugged his shoulders before I focused once again on my panicking best friend. "Alright, try to take a breath."
"Take a breath? Our teacher has just been kidnapped to be sacrificed and you tell me to take a breath?!" Lydia shouted almost in insterics.
"How do you even know that he has been taken?" Sebastiana asked his cousin only for her to snap all her body towards him with a piercing glare in her jade eyes.
"I know. I just know." She sighed "I found this." Lydia signaled to the phone.
"Mr. Hastings' phone?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes. I-"
"Lydia!" Stiles' voice cut the girl's off as he came into the classroom followed by Deaton.
"Why is the doc here?" Sebastian asked, standing up from the chair, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Because he knows what is going on." Stiles replied for Deaton.
"Lydia, you said that you found the teacher's phone with something in it." The veterinarian said to the strawberry-blonde girl.
Lydia extended her hand giving the doctor the unlocked phone with what she had found. It was a vocal recording on his phone. Of the teacher playing the piano until a wrong deep key was pressed. Silence followed for seconds before a melody, a chant, had been recorded.
I felt myself get more and more lightheaded as I heard it until a word rolled from my lips.
"Bellator." And as if a cold bucket of water had fallen on me, I came back to reality slightly confused to see the four look at me. "What?" I asked.
"You said something." Stiles said "The same thing you said yesterday."
"What, what did I say?" I asked a bit panicked
"Bellator. You said Bellator." Lydia answered
"Each grouping of three would have its own purpose, Its own type of power. Virgins, healers, philosophers, warriors..." Deaton said, looking directly at me at last part.
"Warriors..." I whispered, my head falling in my hands with a huff.
"What?" Stiles asked confused, the same expression etched on Sebastian's face.
"Bellator it's the Latin word for warrior." I explained.
"Warriors" A deep in thought look fell across Stiles' feature until he started furiously searching the teacher's desk. "Where is it? Where is it?" He mumbled. "Here. Warrior, could that also be like a soldier?"
"Absolutely." Deaton nodded.
Stiles showed us his findings. A photo of our teacher the day of his wedding. He was wearing a soldier uniform standing next to his bride. He placed it on the desk before continuing. "Kyle was in R.O.T.C. with Boyd."
"That's got to be it. That's the pattern. Where's Boyd?" Deaton said.
"He's probably home by now. I'm gonna try and get him on the phone."
"Lydia? Something wrong?" Seb asked, eyeing his cousin slightly wearily.
"No, it was...I mean... I just thought of someone else with a military connection."
"Who?" Stiles asked, turning his phone off.
"Mr. Harris." I realized with a heavy breath.
We hurried down to the chemistry lab. No sign of the teacher there.
"This is just one of many possibilities. He could have simply left for the day." Deaton asked as he looked at the plate sitting on the desk where it was written West Point's Cadet Honor Code.
"Yeah, well... Not without this." Stiles told us, showing the teacher's bag.
Taking the situation more seriously, we all started to search around for any sign of Harris.
"Elizabeth, do you feel something?" Deaton asked me.
I was looking around with weary eyes, and yes, my magic wanted me to say that exact word that I had spoken in the music room.
I nodded my head, not replying verbally.
"What?" The veterinarian asked switching his focus towards Sebastian. He was looking at some paper that were on the desk
"This test is graded 'R.'" He showed us the paper.
"This one's an 'H.' " Lydia added, showing us another one.
Deaton started to look at the papers, shuffling them around until they made sense to him.
"Stiles, you remember I told you 'druid' is the Gaelic word for 'wise oak'?"
"Yeah."
"If a druid went down the wrong path-"
" The wise oak was sometimes said to have become a dark oak." I cutted of Deaton as I realized what he was saying. The stories and myths about the dark druid flowing through my brain.
"Yes." Deaton said with a heavy look in his eyes. "There's a Gaelic word
for that as well..." He showed us the paper in the right order. All the grades formed one word. The same world that was the name of a druid went dark. "Darach."

Hello everyone!!
And the plot thickens!!
I hope you are liking the changes and addictions, how I'm adding Elizabeth magic to the plot. I think it's really cool to be honest.
Alec and Ellie talked in this chapter, and I'm all in for it. Alec is the type of boyfriend to be very very overprotective, and Ellie is a very strong and independent woman. As much as she loves Alec, what she wants is a partner in crime, not someone that oppresses her.
Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter, I'll see you on Thursday!
