╰┈˚ · ° .  THE FOLLOWING MORNING, Stiles and Scott waited for Alec and I near the bikes parking spaces announcing that they were successful in finding out how to enter the bank's vault. Apparently it had been Sheriff Stilinki the one to arrest the people responsible for the robbery, so thanks to that, Stiles had been able to ask him about it. The plan was to meet at Derek's loft at 5:00 to go over every detail.

And so, as soon as the hour came, all of us were gathered around the metal table in front of the wall of windows in my cousin's loft, where the map of the bank was laid on, Stiles telling all of us about the information that he had gathered by his father.

"Okay. You see this?" Stiles said out loud, pointing a precise point on the map with a red sharpie "This is how they got in. It's a rooftop air conditioning vent. Leads down inside into the wall of the vault, which is here." He then proceeded to circle the place.

"Okay." Derek said, making Stiles continue.

"One of the robbers was lowered into this shaft. Now, that space is so small, it took him about 12 hours to drill into that wall, which is stone, by the way. Then throughout the rest of the night, they siphoned the cash up to the guys back on the roof through that one little shaft in the wall. Boom."

"Can we fit in there?" Scott asked Stiles as he standed on the left of his friend.

"Yes, we can, but very, very barely. And they also patched the wall, obviously, so we're gonna need a drill of some kind. I'm thinking maybe a diamond bit-"

Cutting off Stiles, Derek stated "Look, forget the drill."

"Sorry?" Confused, the human said, turning to his right where the alpha was standing.

"If I go in first, how much space do I have?" Derek asked

"What do you... what do you think you're gonna do, Derek? You gonna punch through the wall?" The sarcastic question the Stiles had asked was definitely what Derek was thinking about, though.

"Yes, Stiles, I'm gonna punch through the wall." The Hale alpha responded, crossing his arm on his chest as his patience started to dimm.

"Okay, okay, big guy. Let's see it. Let's see that fist. Big, old fist. Make it, come on. Get it out there. Don't be scared."

"Oh this is awesome." Alec snickered under his breath as we watched Derek raise his fist just like Stiles had asked.

"It's not going to end well." I commented, eyeing the scene with amusement.

"The big, bad wolf. Yeah, look at that. Okay, see this?" Stiles positioned his hand with his palm in front of the fist "That's maybe 3 inches of room to gather enough force to punch through solid co..."

Proving his own point, Derek punched Stiles' hand without even a second thought resulting in the human crouching down and holding his hand close to his body groaning in pain.

"He could do it." Stiles whimpered,

"Do we need to call an ambulance, Stiles?" I asked sarcastically without bothering to conceal my amusement after the laughs that had escaped both me and my boyfriend had faded.

"Oh man, we should've recorded it." Alec added. His breath ragged as he was still wheezing from the laughter.

"Don't worry, I can do a spell and we can rewatch it whenever we want." I replied, making Stiles heatedly glare at me.

"Are you two done?" Derek asked with a pointed look in Alec and mine direction.

Grinning at my cousin, I held both my hands up in a surrender motion before making a sign for him to continue as Alec wrapped his arms around my middle pulling me closer to him.

"I count on it, little witch." He whispered in my ear. I didn't need to turn around to know that a smirk was twisting his lips.

"I'll get through the wall." Derek decered after he decided that we were calm enough. "Who's following me down?" his eyes going to Peter.

"Don't look at me. I'm not up to fighting speed yet, and honestly, with Isaac out of commission, you're not looking at very good odds for yourself." My uncle replied.

"So I'm supposed to just let them die?"

"One of them is already dead." Peter answered not bothering with any empathy.

"We don't know that." Derek insisted angrily.

"Do I have to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of alphas.

All of them, killers. And if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine bodies to form one giant alpha." He said completely seriously.

"He is right." Alec said as leaned back to rest his back on the windows wall. "It's not worth it."

Peter morphed his feature into one of fake compassion. "I'm sure Erica and Boyd were sweet kids."

"They're gonna be missed." Alec added with dramatic huff of totally fake sadness.

"Could someone kill him again, please? And maybe adding Alec to the mix." Stiles asked while looking at Derek and Scott.

"Watch what you say." I snapped at the human, eyes glowing gold making him stumble back.

"You?" Derek asked me.

Waiting another second glaring at the Stilinski boy I then took a breath, calming myself down. "We are going to write them a beautiful eulogy." I said, making Alec snort.

"Good thing that at least my niece took my sense of self preservation." Peter's comment passed completely over Derek who was now the one who was glaring at me.

"Really?"

"Yeah, really. I know that you feel responsible for them because you bit them but they choose to run away. They choose to leave your pack. And honestly, I didn't like Erica very much." I said looking at my cousin.

"They were afraid." The alpha grinded out angry.

"I'm not going to risk my life for them. Not when we have so little informations. I spent the entire summer helping you find them. Not even one of my spells worked. I couldn't track them, see them or even feel them. Meaning, they are probably dead."

"Or you are not a witch as powerful as you want everyone to think you are." He spat out with disgust slamming his hand down on the table.

"Wrong move, nephew." Peter commented from his place on the stairs.

Coping my cousin's movement, my hand came in contact with metal, only that I released a bit of magic sending him strength to the ground.

"Shit." Scott cursed, yanking his best friend with him as they took a couple of steps back.

"Really?" Derek asked with a groan as he stood up.

"I felt nothing everytime I did a spell, Derek." I repeated, trying to get him to understand my point of view. "It's only possible if they are dead or-" I cutted myself off as thoughts invaded my mind.

"Or?" Derek asked with insistence

"If they had a witch to somehow block them specifically from her." Peter said, eyes widened realizing where my train of thought had went.

I shook my head "I would've felt if another witch was in Beacon Hills. My grandmother and I are the only ones here."

"Some witches get paid to do some spells." Derek then asked "Is it possible that they may have done something like that?"

"Knowing Deucalion and his infamous fame... yes, it is totally possible." Peter said bitterly "Derek, seriously? It's still not worth the risk."

"What about you?" The alpha asked Scott only for Stiles to answer in his place.

"Yeah, if you want me to come..."

"Not you." Derek deadpanned.

"Got it."

"I don't know about Erica." Scott started "But if Boyd's still alive, we have to do something. We have to try."

Sensing the unsaid word, Derek asked "But?"

"Who's the other girl? The one locked in there with Boyd?"

"It doesn't matter." Derek insisted. "So it's only me and Scott."

I opened my mouth to say that I would go too only to be stopped by Alec as he spoke.

"I'll come too." He grumbled. "It's better if it's only us anyways. Too many people are sure to get their attention."

"I'll com-" A hand was slapped on my mouths cutting me off

"Only us three." Alec said with a warning in his tone directed to both me and the Alpha. "No one else."

Nodding his head in understandment, Derek agreed. "Alright then. It's only us."

╰┈˚ · ° .  "Okay, what the fuck is wrong with you!?" I shouted at my boyfriend.

I had dragged him away from the others in another floor of the building ready to kill him.

"A lot?" he said sarcastically with a snort. At my glare, with eyes flickering between my blue ones and the bright yellow of my werewolf side, he completely sobered his amusement.

"Since when do you care about Boyd and Erica?" I asked, my arms crossed on my chest.

"I couldn't care less about them." He shrugged unbothered "But we all know that it's too risky going in with more than three people if we want to do this without their knowledge, and you wanted to go, so I just did volunteer before you could have."

My jaw ticked as my rage boiled. "And you did that, why?" I snarled.

His movement was quick, he caged me against the wall, his body pressed tightly against mine. His hand wrapped around my neck forcing my head to tilt backwards to look at him straight into his eyes that were burning with darkness.

"Apparently I was not clear enough whenever I told you that I would burn this city to ashes only if it would keep you safe, Elizabeth." he said, whispering the words against my lips. "You think that I was joking? Uh? That I said it just for saying something?" He growled, "Answer me."

I gritted my teeth, spitting the single word with as much venom I could. "No."

"Exactly." His eyes, half lidded, stared down at me. Shadows were buzzing around us, almost covering our bodies entirely. "I know that after the weird vision and the spell you did on Isaac you are not at your full power yet. And you'll have to pass on my dead body before you go anywhere near something as dangerous as this if you are not able to use 100% of your magic."

"You can't just think that I'll just obey you." I said with a glare.

His lips twisted a grin, the one of his that I loved so much. "Oh, Amore, that's the thing. I would never want you to just obey me. It wouldn't be you otherwise. I did not fall in love with a girl who would just roll over and do whatever I wanted her to do. So get angry, fight me, make me bleed... you will only make me love you harder." [Love]

He pressed himself even harder against me, fingers squeezing at the side of my throat. I could feel his erection pressing against me as the silence that his words left us was filled only by our labored breath, and the air surrounding us, completely drenched with our mixed scents of arousals.

"You are fucking crazy." I said. My tone was filled with bite as I closed the space between our faces even more. Only a breath dividing our lips from colliding against each other.

He chuckled, the sound almost mockingly as he said "And you fucking love it." He crushed his mouth with mine. His tongue not waiting a second to slip between my lips forcing its entry. The kiss was so rough that I could feel my lips bruise with the intensity before healing. Our teeth clashed together and I couldn't help the moan that escaped only to be captured by Alec's mouth. My hand traveled up his abs, to his arms until I could easily wrap my fingers in his hair, that even if short lengthened, I could still tug at them. Groning against my mouth Alec started to grind his erection against me, making our kiss heightening its intensity.

It was until a loud cough coming from the upstairs floor, made purposely to make us hear it, that we broke our kiss.

"Cockblockers." Alec muttered with an annoyed eye roll.

I pushed him slightly away from me, enough for me to look at his dark chocolate colored eyes. "You started grinding on me." I said with a victorious smirk.

"Yes I'm aware, little witch. I'm hard as fuck." He grunted adjusting the visible erection in his pants "Not that you are not fucking drenched, amore, your scent is driving me crazy. I'm barely containing myself from fucking you against the wall right now." [Love]

I clenched my thighs at his crass words, their effect immediate. But still the smirk never left my lips. "You started grinding on me." I repeated. Alec furrowed his eyebrows in a way that showed his confusion. "You lost, my love. You lost our bet."

His eyes widened before he covered it with a scoff "No, I didn't."

I laughed out loud at his poor attempt at concealing the truth. "Yes, you did, You lost Alec."

"I did not lose." He tried again before conceding "Fine, I lost. But I did it on porpoise. I knew you were about to lose just like I knew that you would whine about losing for the rest of our lives so I sacrificed myself."

"So noble of you." I snorted. We both knew that he did not do that. He was just horny.

He pouted his lips in an adorable way, and I couldn't help but peck them before I forcefully turned him around from me to jump on his back. "Let's go upstairs to the others before we actually start fucking."

"So you are okay with me going but not you?" He asked as he started to slowly climb up the stairs.

"Nope. But I know you are right, this time." I huffed annoyed. "Does not mean I have to like it. Just come back to me, alright."

"I'll always come back to you." he said as a matter of fact, squeezing my legs from where he was holding me.

"Promise?" I asked in whisper as I tightened my arms around him, burying my head where his neck met his shoulder.

"Promise." he said, kissing my arm, the only place he could reach with our current position. "Ti amo." [I love you]

"I love you." I responded "You know that there will probably be an attempt on your life as soon as we'll see Derek and Peter, right."

"Why do you think I'm walking this slow?"

╰┈˚ · ° .  Derek, Alec and Scott were gone to their rescue mission leaving the rest three of us in the loft.

Stiles was staring out of the big widows wall, his anxiety heavy in the air. I was three seconds away from making him pass out so that we could breath a bit of air that would not make our head spin. His own high emotions definitely not helping with my own.

"I can't take waiting around like this, you know? It's nerve-racking. My nerves are racked. They're severely racked. Racked." Stiles rumbled, his eyes never leaving the full moon brightly shining outside.

"I could beat you unconscious and wake you when it's over." Peter commented completely seriously

"Please, do it before I kill him." I mumbled from beside my uncle as we both sat relaxed on the couch. Or as much as relaxed we could be in that moment.

"You think Erica's really dead?" Stiles asked, completely ignoring us.

"You think I really care?" Peter answered with a deadpan tone that I couldn't help but snort at.

"I just... I don't understand the bank, though, okay? Wha... like, why wouldn't they chain them up in some underground lair or something? They're an alpha pack, right? shouldn't they have a lair?"

"They're werewolves not bond villains."

"Wait a sec. Wait a sec. Maybe they're living there, you know? Like, maybe the bank vault reminds them of their little wolf dens."

"Wolf dens?"

"They can't even fully transform into wolves, why would they need wolf dens, Stiles." I huffed out a breath pinching with my fingers the bridge of my nose.

"Yeah, wolf dens." Once again Stiles ignored me, preferring to talk with Peter. "Where do you live?"

"In an underground network of caves hidden deep in the woods." My uncle joked, but apparently, the human had taken his answer seriously.

"Whoa, really?"

"No, you idiot." I groaned "He has an apartment downtown."

"Okay, fine, but still, that just proves that there's something up with the bank. And why wait around for the full moon, huh? Why not just kill them

whenever they want to?" Stiles continued to asks questions as we would have any answer to them.

"Maybe they think it's poetic."

"They've already had three full moons to be poetic."

"And here you've only had one full hour to be so annoying..."

I furrowed my eyebrows thinking about Stiles' words. "He is right." I mumbled.

"No, go ahead, finish what you were saying. I'm an... I'm annoying.

What were you gonna say there?" As if processing my words later, he then widened his eyes turning towards me "I am?"

"Yes. Why now? You are right, they already had three full moons to kill them. It doesn't make sense."

"What are the walls made of?" Suddenly Peter asked, getting from the couch.

"What? Uh... I don't know, like, wood and brick or..." Looking around the loft Stiles started to list.

"No, the vault, the vault, the walls. What are they made out of ? Where would it say that?" The ex-alpha asked as he skimmed through the bank map and papers.

"Doesn't say anything." Stiles replied.

"Where... where would it say the materials, the type of stone?" Peter asked in a panicked voice his movements more frenetic.

"Oh oh, hang on. Yeah, here, hang on. Here. It's gotta be in there." Stiles put on the table a stack of that would've been at least a couple of hundred of pages.

"We don't have time to read all of this." Peter shook his head, sliding them towards me. "Find it."

"Why do we need to know the type of stone the walls of the vault are made of?" I asked

"Just do it, Elizabeth."

I clenched my jaw at his tone, but his eyes were too panicked. "Fine." I swallowed the emotions that were starting to clog my throat. Something was wrong, I could read it in my uncle's eyes.

I closed my eyes, took big breaths and placed my hands above the stack of papers. I let my magic flow out, a small breeze passing through to the room as I focused on the question in my mind, and soon, the pages started to flip until they stopped, meaning that the spell had found what I had asked.

"There, that's it." Stiles yelled, pointing at the words that were glowing lightly from the spell.

"Hecatolite." Peter read the word

"Fuck." I whispered wide eyes, fear invading my entire body.

"Is that awful? That sounds awful." Stiles asked

"Get 'em on the phone. Call them. Now!" Peter commanded.

"Okay, why?"

" 'Cause Boyd and that girl aren't gonna kill each other."

"They're gonna kill Derek, Alec and Scott." I finished "Call Scott!"

Stiles quickly grabbed his phone calling his best friend, who fortunately answered.

"Stiles, now is not the best time." Scott's voice came from the speaker of the phone

"Scott! Scott! No, listen to me, okay? Look, you gotta get outta there. Look, the walls of the vault are made with a mineral called hecatolite."

"It scatters the moonlight." I added

"What does that mean?"

"It keeps the moonlight out, okay? They haven't felt the full moon

in months." I explained

"Okay, think of it like the gladiators in the Roman Colosseum. They used to starve the lions for three days, making them more vicious, more out of control. Deucalion has kept them from shifting for three full moons, Diminishing their tolerance to it." Peter used another way to explain it.

"Scott, they're gonna be stronger..."

"More savage, more bloodthirsty, Scott, they're the lions. They're the starved lions, and you, Derek and Alec just stepped into the Colosseum."

"We got a problem, a really big problem." Scott said to the other two on the his end of the call, when suddenly, growls and roars followed by a commotion were the only thing that we could hear from the call.

And then, Derek said a name, the one of a dead person. Or at least someone who should've been. "Cora? "

"Did he just say Cora?" I asked to Peter. "You know what, I don't care, get the fuck out of there now."

But soon, the line went dead just as my magic awakened in my veins with a latin world at the tip of my tongue.

Of course that Alec would be the one to accidentally lose the bet lmaoo. I love how cute these two can be. And Alec is something else. But we all love him for that.

This chapter has a lot of dialogue between characters so I hope that my adjustment to make Alec and Lizzie fit were somewhat good.

Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter, I'll see you on Tuesday!
