╰┈˚ · ° . THAT MORNING ALLISON, LYDIA AND DECIDED TO GO TO TOGETHER TO SCHOOL since it would've been the first day back for the strawberry-blonde girl after her almost being killed the night of the winter formal and her wandering for two days in the woods.
"You really don't remember anything?" Allison asked to our best friend
"They called it a fugue state, which is basically a way of saying 'We have no idea why you can't remember running through the woods naked for two days.' But personally, I don't care. I lost nine pounds." Lydia said, making us laugh lightly.
I knew Lydia, she wanted to portray this mask of the perfect girl, the ice queen that no one can touch or hurt. But that wasn't true. Lydia had feelings like everyone else, she just liked to not show them.
"Are you ready for this?" Allison asked softly
"Please. It's not like my aunt's a serial killer. The same one that was responsible for killing Elizabeth's entire family six years ago." Lydia said bluntly
"Why to be empathic, Bloom." I said with a roll of eyes "You are getting better at it, tho."
She sent me a wink before opening the doors of the school. What I expected, happened. Everyone in the close vicinity stared at her. The three of us really made a great team. The one with the serial killer aunt, the one who the said serial killer burned her entire family and the crazy one who wandered naked in the woods for two days. Fantastic.
"Maybe It's the nine pounds." Allison whispered, trying to make the moment actually better.
Lydia straightened her shoulders, brushed her hair away from her face and then, she strode down the hallways like it belonged to her.

╰┈˚ · ° . I entered the chemistry class smirking at the cowering teacher as I passed by. I took a seat at the table and soon the seat next to me was occupied by Alec and the desk in front of me by Scott and Stiles.
"There is a new werewolf." Scott stated with clear anxiety in his tone "Derek already turned one boy, his name is Isaac"
"And?" I said unbothered
"My father brought him to the sheriff department. Isaac's father was murdered. They keep suspects in holding cells for 24 hours"
"Oh" Alec said understanding the problem "And tonight there is the full moon"
"Why would Derek choose Isaac?" Scott asked
"Peter told me that if the bite doesn't turn you it could kill you. And maybe teenagers have a better chance of surviving." Stiles proponed
"Yes, it true" I nodded my head at him
"You knew?" The beta asked me
"I know a lot of things Scotty, you need to be more precise"
"About Derek. That he was going to bite someone." Scott accused
"Yes" I said "I had a vision of his pack forming a couple of days ago."
"And you did nothing? You could've prevented it!"
"The visions are not for me to change. They are just a way for me to see important events if nature decides so. They will happen whether I like it or not." I explained trying to keep the bite of the words.
"You could've warned us" He continued to argue
"Scott, my visions are for me and for me only. Nature gift them to witches. I can't and won't talk about it with everyone." Now I could feel how venom was dripping from my words as I discarded the idea to keep calm "I will just know when to talk about them and with who. Now back to the previous topic." With a last glare to the boy, I picked my pencil and started to draw. Alec's hand tangled itself in my hair, curling a strand between his fingers
"Does being a teenager mean your dad can't hold him?" Scott now, asked his best friend
"Well, not unless they have solid evidence. Or a witness. Wait." Realizing something he turned towards Danny "Danny. Where's Jackson?"
"In the principal's office talking to your dad."
"What? Why?"
"Maybe because he lives across the street from Isaac." Danny explained
"Witness" Scott said
"We gotta get to the principal's office."
"How?"
"I don't know" Stiles said
"Idiots" Alec muttered. He formed a ball with a paper sheet and threw it at Harris.
"Everyone please turn to page 73." The teacher said just as the ball collided with his head "Who in the hell did that?"
Scott and Stiles took the bait, both pointing at each other, giving the blame to the other. Mr. Harris in the end decided to just send them both to the principal's office.
From the corner of my eyes I could see how Alec's attention was totally not on the class. He stared at me, a smirk on his face, still twirling my hair between his ring cladded fingers.
"What?" I asked not to look up from my wolfsbane sketch. Alec ignored me. I saw how his smirk widened when he noticed my anger rise at that. I just continued to draw, clinging the pencil tightly in my hands until it snapped "Why are you looking at me?" I said in a low voice with a snarl
"Can't I look at you?" He said with an accomplished smile
'You know, I think making you angry just became my favorite pastime, little witch' — He had said that when he first arrived here. I think that that is still completely true.
"Not like that!"
"Like what, Amore?" [Love]
If I wasn't sure he was doing it on purpose , I was now. Apparently hearing him calling me love in italian made my body react in a way that I didn't like. One that I couldn't control. Everytime he called me that, I would blush. Blush! And the fucker knew.
Fortunately the bell rang saving me from more humiliation. I quickly grabbed my things and turned towards him just to send him a seething glare and to spat out three last words."I hate you!"
His booming laugh followed me until I was so red in the face that I didn't know if it was from anger or my blush.

╰┈˚ · ° . Alec didn't take much to appear at my side again, fortunately I had calmed down. We opened the doors of the school in time to see the sheriff helping Isaac in the backseat of his car. The door opened behind us, Scott running past us to get to the boy but it was too late. The sheriff had already started to drive again.
"Now what?" Scott said turning around to look at Alec and I but then a black camaro drove in front of the school.
"Get in." Derek said
"Are you serious? You did that. That's your fault." Scott told him. He was furious
"I know that. Now get in the car and help me."
"No, I've got a better idea. I'm gonna call a lawyer. Because a lawyer might actually have a chance at getting him out before the moon goes up."
"Not when they do a real search of the house."
"What do you mean?" I asked my cousin
"Whatever Jackson said to the cops, what's in the house is worse. A lot worse."
"That doesn't sound good." Alec commented. He sent a nod to Derek and then said "We will follow you with the bike."
I didn't get to say anything because Alec was already dragging me away, I just saw Scott getting inside Derek's car.
───── ⋆⋅⋆。 ゚☽𖦹☾ ゚。⋆⋅⋆ ─────
"If Isaac didn't kill his father, who did?" Scott asked while moving his flashlight around. The Lahey house seemed normal from the outside, but I felt it, as soon as the door opened, how wrong everything felt.
"I don't know yet."
"Then how do you know he's telling the truth?" Scott asked
"Because he trusts his senses." I said. My forehead was furrowed and my mouth twisted in disgust. I didn't like it here.
"And it's a combination of them. Not just your sense of smell." Derek said
"You saw the lacrosse thing today."
"Yeah."
"Did it look that bad?"
"Yeah."
"Oh I really wanted to see that." Alec chuckled. He wasn't wrong. When the best friend duo told us of their plan I wanted to start laughing.
"You wanna learn?" Derek asked Scott as he opened a door. One that led down to the basement "Let's start now."
"What's down there?"
"Motive." I whispered. This place had a lot of concentrated negative energies. My senses told me that but it was my witch side that hated it.
It's something personal, it changes from witch to witch. Sometimes places with powerful energies, good or bad, can make a witch more powerful almost as if it feeds us they're energies. With places like that, witches often consecrated them. Using them as their own sacred place. It helps you ground yourself, your magic. It makes you feel less lonely almost as if you were home. Those are called Prosperum.
The Hale house, even with all the tragic death that happened there, became my consecrated space.
On the other hand, there are places that can drain a witch, almost as in the energies present there and witch's magic were in a continual state of fighting against each other. They take the name of Pugnam.
I placed a hand on the doorway and took a big breath "I can't stay here." I announced "It's a Pugnam."
"A what?" Scott asked confused
"Her magic and energies in this place are fighting against each other." Derek explained "She needs to get out of here."
"Alright little witch, time for us to go." Alec said, wrapping an arm around my shoulders and directing me outside. As soon as we stepped out from the property I felt ten times better.
"Thanks" I said. My eyes were closed and I could feel the moon rising by the second "How are you feeling?" I asked
"Shouldn't I ask you that?"
"I mean with the full moon, idiot." I wanted to roll my eyes by I still had them closed
"I'm fine, Ellie. I can control the shift." I could feel his stare on me even if I didn't open my eyes to look. Then one of his shadows caressed my cheek, shivers traveled down my back. "You stop telling me to not call you Ellie." He said in gravely whisper
My eyes snapped open at that.
I haven't noticed.
"Do you still want me to not call you that?" He asked, moving more towards me
"You are not going to stop calling me that anyway even if I say no."I could feel his breath on me now as said that. I did everything not to turn my head. But it was all for nothing because Alec grabbed my chin with his hand, our lips brushing against each other.
"I'm definitely going to still call you that." He placed a kiss on my neck slowly trailing upwards. Now it was me that grabbed his chin and made him look at me. Or maybe it was just because I wanted to feel his mouth on mine.
His lips twisted in an unhinged grin that I hated so much because I really loved how you could see the chaos underneath his skin, when normally, Alec could pass by an unfeeling boy. Always calm and like nothing could bother him.
I wanted to kiss him, I wanted to crush my lips against his and drink everything that was him. Before I could do that, the front door of the Lahey house closed. I quickly moved away from Alec when I noticed that it was Derek that was coming out.
"Let's go. Stiles is waiting for us." He gave us a last suspicious look before entering his camaro.
───── ⋆⋅⋆。 ゚☽𖦹☾ ゚。⋆⋅⋆ ─────
╰┈˚ · ° . We were outside the sheriff station, Stiles and Derek in the front seat, Alec and I in the back.
"Okay, now the keys to every cell are in a password protected lockbox in my father's office. The problem is getting past the front desk." Stiles explained us
"I'll distract her." Derek said already starting to get out of the human's car
"Whoa, whoa, whoa... you? You're not going in there."Stiles said, grabbing Derek by his shoulder preventing him from exiting the car. The looks that Derek was sending him made me snicker as Stiles slightly panicked said "I'm taking my hand off."
"I was exonerated." Derek told him
"You're still a person of interest."
"An innocent person." The alpha stated
"An... you? Yeah, right!"
"Can we get back to the plan?" Alec said while rolling his eyes
"Right. What's your plan?" Stiles said to derek
"To distract her."
"Uh-huh. How? By punching her in the face?"
"By talking to her."
"Okay, all right. Give me a sample. What are you gonna open with? Dead silence. That should work beautifully. Any other ideas?"
"I'm thinking about punching you in the face." Derek told the human
"I'm thinking about punching both of you in the face" I said out loud earning glares from the two
"We should just send Alec in there" Stiles with a sigh
"Why?" Derek said trying to contain his annoyance
"I'm sure he will be able to charm the deputy." He said then pointed at me "For sure it worked on her" Suddenly, his head collided with the steering wheel earning a shout of pain by the boy "What the fuck?!" Stiles yelled at me between pained groans, his hands cradled his nose.
"You get the keys with Alec." I said to the human boy before turning towards my cousin. "You get inside and distract her. I'll be near the front doors and if it doesn't work or she gets suspicious, I will make her pass out and then remove her memories. Let's go." When no one moved I raised my voice opening the door at Derek's side with my magic "Now"
That got them moving. My plan was going well. Stiles and Alec passed the front desk where Derek flirted with the deputy, and then, we heard Alec shouting "Plan B!"
The deputy furrowed her eyebrows and proceeded to grab her gun.
My hand shot forward and I willed my magic to take the weapons from her and placed it in my hand. "Somnus." The deputy fell on the floor sleeping soundly. "Go, I'll be right behind you." Derek didn't waste another second to run. I placed the weapon back in the deputy's gun holster and quickly casted a spell to remove the memories of the last ten minutes.
When I arrived at the holding cell, the fake deputy or actually one of the Argent hunters was passed out on the floor. Next to him, Isaac was crouched down, shadows binding him as his hands shot to his ears as Derek roared his dominance. Alec was in front of Stiles, who he too was on the floor looking at the scene. Isaac shifted back to his human form, but his fear was palpable as he cowered away and tried to get as small a possible. In that moment, the shadows around him disappeared.
"How did you do that?" Stiles asked
A small smirk bloomed on Derek's lips as he stated "I'm the alpha."
Alec was the first that approached the new beta. He extended his hand towards Isaac to help him up. The boy was reluctant but nevertheless took it.
Then I felt it, the change in the air as the wind started to blow. My eyes rolled to the back of my head as I fell limp to the ground.
Yellow reptilian eyes and loud hisses followed by a piercing screech. A long tail and transparent liquid dripping to the ground from the sharp claws.
I woke up gasping for air finding myself with my head in someone's lap. "Welcome back, little witch." Alec said while smiling down at me
I groaned and touched my head in pain as I sat up. We were still in the Sheriff department, I could feel the worry oozing off Derek and the curiosity off Stiles. And Isaac was definitely confused and afraid.
"How much time I was out?" I asked to no one in particular as I stood up with the help of my cousin
"Just a couple of minutes" Derek answered me "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Der." I said, sending him a small smile. The headache was definitely killing me though
"What just happened?" Isaac asked
"Well, that was one hell of an introduction." I said towards the boy "Elizabeth Hale and that was nature sending me a vision"
At his confused expression Derek explained to his beta "Elizabeth is a hybrid. Half werewolf half witch. Witches have a strong connection with nature and sometimes it is said that to its favorites, Mother Nature sends visions. Like warnings. On the other hand, the shadows that were restraining you were from Alec. He is a shadow wolf"
"Shadow wolf?" Isaac was definitely more than confused
"It's complicated, let's just say my ancestor was a normal werewolf before a Warren witch, one of Elizabeth's ancestors, cursed him and all his line." Alec explained to the new beta while smirking down at me
I wiggled my fingers at Isaac who looked at me and gulped "Alright" he said, still confused. His eyebrows furrowed before he looked between his Alpha and me "Hale? Like-"
"She is my cousin" Derek replied
"You'll see the resemblance as soon as they start to glare and scowl" Alec commented with a grin. As on cue both Derek and I glared at the boy "See" Alec pointed out
"We need to get out of here" Derek stated after rolling his eyes at the shadow wolf's antics
"I'll stay here and find some excuse" Stiles said
"The deputy at the entrance won't remember anything. She'll just think that she passed out." I said to Stiles who nodded at me
After that we all got out of the Sheriff department as soon as we could.

╰┈˚ · ° . As soon as I climbed down from the bike that Alec parked in front of my house, I noticed how the moon was still high in the night sky. I looked towards the boy, his hair a curly mess from the fight and helmet. I heard his heart beating a little bit quicker than normal as I saw how he passed his hands through them trying to tame them. He was stiffer, his muscles rigid. I knew that for shadow wolves the full moons were harder. They would use a lot more energy to contain the shift, that is why they prefer to transform into their wolf during it.
"You can shift, if you want." I said. My tone was too soft for my liking "The woods around the house are still protected by the ward"
His head snappen towards me quickly, I felt his shadow trying to crawl from underneath his skin. Trying to get free.
"I'm fine, little witch" He said roughly, not looking at me directly.
I rolled my eyes and used my magic to catch in my hand the key of his bike. "Go and shift, Alec. I'll be outside in a couple of minutes."
I walked inside the house when I was sure that the shadow wolf had entered the wards. I took my sketchbook and pencils and then made my way once again outside. What I didn't expect to find was Alec sitting on the green grass of the backyard. His chocolate eyes trailed on the full moon above us.
"Shouldn't you be already in your wolf form?" I asked as I took a seat next to him. As soon as I sat down he immediately laid back and moved his head into my lap. I raised my eyebrow down at him but he wasn't even looking up. His eyes too focused on the rings on his fingers. "What is it?"
"Nothing" He said now, twirling a wisp of shades between his fingers. He still wouldn't look at me.
"Alec" I said having enough of this non conclusional conversation. I tilted his head backwards using his hair. "What is it?" I asked ignoring the groan of pain and the glare that he was sending me.
Well, at least he was looking at me now.
Before I could comprend what happened, Alec swiftly moved and trapped my body underneath him. "That wasn't nice, little witch." He said. His eyes darkened as a smirk twisted his lips.
Using my werewolf strength, I flipped our position and snarled down at him. "I'm not nice, if you haven't noticed."
"I would have to be very stupid to not notice it." He growled. Eyes turning obsidian black. His shadows moved with swiftness helping the wolf to turn our position again. I felt them coiling around my legs, wrapping around my wrists. Alec sat up and captured my bounded arms and brought them together, gripping the wrists with his hand "Do you remember what I told you that night at the school, little witch?" His pleased smirk was like a taunt that only worsened as he spoke again "I was right, I really like seeing my shadows restraining you."
My eyes glowed bright yellow as I started to use my magic. Groans of pain escaped Alec's lips as blood dripped from his nose. The shadows retread, unbinding my wrist. It wasn't a very painful spell, for sure not how I really could make it. But it hurted enough. My claws extended as they pointed them at his throat as at the same time he wrapped his hand around mine. He brought my head near his, my claws disappearing as his nose touched mine and our breaths started to mix.
"Witch."
"Demon."
Then he kissed me. It was a hungry kiss that made me want to lose my mind and never stopping it. Lips, teeth and tongues, it was a rough kiss that left our lips bruised when we parted for breath.
"Go out with me." He said one his breathing pattern returned to normal
"Are you asking me on a date?" I couldn't help but smile cockly at the boy "Wait, that was what was wrong with you? You were nervous about asking me out?"
The way he groaned and layed back down with his arms covering his eyes said that I was completely right. "Shut up" He mumbled
I couldn't help the way my heart beated a bit faster, or how I wanted to smile like a fool.
Or how much he felt right.
"Look at me, Alec" I said using my hand to try to peel his arms away from his face "Please?"
That did the work. "Yes, you can take me out on a date"
He was smirking now, one that was the most cocky that I've ever seen him wear
"Oh for fuck sakes, I changed my mind" I wasn't proud to say that I wanted to pout.
His arms sneaked around my middle and shoved me down. My head now on his chest "Nope, you can't take it back, amore." [Love]
"You might want to shut up before I slash your throat and then use your body as a pillow" I snapped, a growl forming in my chest as my cheeks were coated in pink. But Alec just grinned like a manic tightening his hold on me
"Your really like flirting with me, little witch, don't you"
"Oh my god" I mumbled "You are such an insufferable bastard."
As his laugh echoed in the backyard, I swear that I felt a piece of myself melt with his shadows.

Hello everyone!
I feel this is kinda rushed but it's okay I guess.
Alec getting nervous about asking her out is too cute, I couldn't help but write that scene in that way. Yes, he is very confident but that does not mean he does not get nervous sometimes. (Only with Elizabeth lol)
I really hope you liked this and let me know some date ideas for more in the future. Or if you have some things that you would like to see in this fanfiction let me know. I would love to read your ideas.
Anyways, thank you for reading this chapter, I'll see you on Tuesday!
