╰┈˚ · ° . I WAS STILL IN ALEC'S ARMS. I could feel his shadows inconspicuously caressing my exposed skin. My face was buried into his chest, his scent prominent, engulfing me entirely, his arms firmly holding me against him. Once again he titled my chin upwards, his eyes, his gorgeous dark chocolate eyes bored into mine with intensity. But that was everything he was. Alessandro Di Luna was intense. Everything he did, with every movement, every emotion you could feel it.
The sound of a fist hitting skin was what made us both come back to reality where we were trapped inside the school, with three out of seven of us unaware that it was the Alpha hunting us and not my cousin, Derek, as Scott explained as an excuse.
"Jackson!" Allison shouted in worry, crouching down to the boy who had been hit by Stiles apparently "Are you okay? Hey, are you okay?"
I looked towards Lydia, her face covered in fear, probably for the situation and slightly jealousy, as her best friend helped her boyfriend.
I walked near her and as soon I was in her reach, her hands firmly gripped my arm. "It's going to be alright, Lyds. I promise, nothing will happen to you" I whispered to her as I intertwined our hands. Her forest green eyes filled to the brim with tears as she looked at me
"You can't promise me that" She said barely above a murmur
"Yes, I can." I said with a confident nod "Nothing will happen to you" with that I tuned back to the others that were all focused on the Stilinski boy .
Stiles, with his phone to his ear, calling his father. "Dad, hey, it's me. And it's your voicemail. Look, I need you to call me back now. Like, right now."
The doors of the cafeteria banged loudly. Someone on the other side trying to open them. We all grouped together as the nails on the door started to lose from the strength applied. I could feel the effect of my spell already loosening its hold. I couldn't cast it again, or straighten the efficiency as there were the three teenagers still unaware of the supernatural between us.
Continuing to speak with his dad's voicemail, Stiles said "We're at the school, okay? We're at the school."
"Oh, God. Oh, my God." Lydia screeched with distress clinging to his boyfriend and at the same time to me, Alec was on my other side. Focusing as much as I could I continued to feed the spell my energies but I knew that it wouldn't be much before that too would cede.
"The kitchen, the door out of the kitchen Ieads to the stairwell." Stiles said
"Which only goes up."
"Up is better than here."
And with that we all started to run. In the end, up a flight of stairs, down the hallways, we hid in the chemistry class. Scott was the last one to enter, closing the door behind him adding a chair under the handle.
Closing my eyes I once again casted the spell to seal the door. Mumbling under my breath, who by everyone with the high adrenaline would have passed undetected, I performed the same spell that I did to Alec and I in the coach office. A bubble to suppress the sight, hearing and scents. Wet liquid fell from my nose. With overuse of my magic with low energies my body started to rebel. Crimson liquid stained my fair skin, dripping to my lips and down my chin but still, I held my eyes closed, continuing to mutter the spell. Suddenly my chin was grabbed roughly but I didn't dare to lose my concentration
"Stop it" Alec said with a slight growl, his tone low enough for only the one with supernatural hearing could catch "Elizabeth!"
I knew that as soon as my nose started to bleed the effect of the spell would be much lower. It was very probable that the Alpha who stalked down the hallways could get a hint of our scent or the sound of our heartbeat and heavy breaths. But I knew that if my instinct was right, he wasn't here to kill us.
"Jackson, how many people can fit in your car?" Scott said as soon as the alpha prowled away
"Five, if someone squeezes on someone's Iap."
"Five? I barely fit in the back."
I could faintly hear the others banther with each other. My head rested on the wall behind me, I was still trying to catch my breath. I felt the soft material of a tissue being pressed on my face. Slightly wet enough to clean the majority of blood off my skin. "Thank you" I whispered between pants
"Sarai la mia morte" Alec said in Italian, still continuing to dab the tissue. I didn't know what he said but the clench of his jaw after the words left his lips didn't gave the impression that it was something joyful [You'll be the death of me]
"It doesn't matter. There's no getting out without drawing attention."
"What about this?" Scott said leading us to another door. "This Ieads to the roof. We can go down the fire escape to the parking Iot in, Iike, seconds." He whispered to Stiles, Alec and me
"That's a deadbolt."
"We could easily break it" Scott said
"And how do you explain that to them?" I tiredly pointed at the other three teens in the room as I leaned on Alec. His arm was wrapped around my waist helping to support me
"Why does it seem like you can barely stand?" Stiles asked confused
"Because she casted spells the entire night so that the Alpha wouldn't scent, hear or see us" Alec snapped out in a hushed shout
"You did?" Scott questioned before shaking his head and gettin once again to his point "The janitor has a key."
"You mean his dead, probably very much mutilated body has it." Alec said with a nonchalantly tone
"I can get it. I can find him by scent, by blood." Scott proposed
"You?" Alec questioned amused. I was sure he was trying to contain his laugh
"Scott, you barely know how to make your eyes glow" I pointed out with an eye roll
"They are right. That sounds Iike an incredibly terrible idea. What else have you got?"
After a second of thinking Scott declared "I'm getting the key."
"Wait" I said, grabbing his arm, now standing a bit straighter. "I'll come with you. You can't do it alone"
"No." Alec and Scott said at the same time.
I could feel the shadow wolf glare on me now "You are right. I don't know what I'm doing but you two...You do. So you'll stay here and protect the other and I will get the keys" Scott said switching his stare between me and Alec before he looked towards the others "I'm getting the key for the door"
"I'm good with that" Alec shrugged his shoulder once again dragging me closer to him
"Are you serious?" Allison whispered in utter disbelief
"Well, it's the best plan. Someone has to get the key if we want to get out of here."
"You can't go out there unarmed."
At his girlfriend's words Scott looked around, his eyes falling on a pointing stick "Well, it's better than nothing." He excused once he saw everyone incredulous looks
"There's gotta be something else."
"There is." Lydia said, answering Stiles. Looking towards a cabinet the strawberry blonde girl nodded her head with a slight smirk
"What are we gonna do? Throw acid on him?" Stiles snapped
"No. Like a fire bomb." Lydia confidently said "In there is everything you need to make a self-igniting Molotov cocktail."
"Self-igniting..."
"Molotov cocktail." Her confidence quickly vanished at the look she was receiving from the others "What? I read it somewhere."
"You. Are. Awesome." I grinned widely at the girl earning an amused eye roll from her
"We don't have a key for that either." Stiles pointed out
Apparently, fed up with the entire situation, Alec smashed his elbow into the cabinet, glass shattering in a million pieces at the impact. "No need for one"
Lydia didn't wait a second to start, mixing chemicals together as she was making a cake and not a bomb.
I was sitting on one of the desks, my back to the wall. Next to me was Alec, who apparently, for tonight, he decided to be my bodyguard "Why were you bleeding?" he asked. We were both trying to tune out the couple that was currently fighting
"I used too much magic with too low energies" I replied using a pen that I had found in the classroom to draw on his hand "I told you that I spent the afternoon with my uncle" At his nod I continued "Everytime I go, I try to heal him. It can take a lot of energy to try even if nothing happens."
"So you used your magic all night even knowing that you were weak" The dark-haired boy said through gritted teeth
"I am not weak." I glared at him
"I didn't mean like that" He snapped. "But you almost collapsed before. So yes, your body was weak in that moment"
I didn't answer. He was right but that doesn't mean he should have the pleasure of knowing he was right from me.
"Please don't leave us. PIease." Allison cried, her tears freeling cascading from her eyes as she pleaded with her boyfriend.
"Lock it behind me." Scott said to no one in particular. But still, Allison didn't let him leave without a last kiss.
Silence ringed around us and I found myself scooting closer to Alec. He kissed my forehead as my head rested on his shoulder, his ring cladded fingers intertwined with my own as with the other hand, I once again started to doodle on his skin.

╰┈˚ · ° . The silence stretched between us teens after Scott went outside to take the keys from the dead janitor. As time passed the others started to get more comfortable, sitting on desks and chairs near the table where I still was on with Elizabeth. Her slender hand continued to move, drawing with the black ink of a pen on my skin. My tattoos and her designs merging together. Her head still on my shoulder, her exhaustion evident by the way her movements were rallented and by the black circles already forming under her stunning jade eyes. The pen stopped moving, her head tilted upwards to look at me. I could see a question forming her mind as her brows furrowed.
Cute.
"Where did you get the water?" She asked in a tone above a whisper. Now it was my time to be confused
"What water?" I questioned
"The tissue" She clarified "The one you used to clean the blood of my skin"
A wide and smug grin spreaded on my lips "Again, what water?" How I wanted to laugh. Fucking hell. From the way her brows furrowed even more for then to exchange it only for a glare, I knew she had come to her conclusion
"Spit" She slowly snarled the word "You used your spit!"
Smiling slyly at the girl who looked furious now I couldn't help the chuckle that I made "Did you want to stay with blood on you all night?" I asked already knowingly "For them to see it?" I nodded my head towards the others. Elizabeth sended me one last glare muttering an 'asshole' under her breath, before starting to doodle on her hand.
I didn't like that. And I didn't like, that I didn't like that.
With a clenched jaw, I shoved my hand on her lap, over her own and covering her line of sight. The implication of what I wanted was clear.
Draw on me.
I felt her jade eyes focusing on me. Her stare was heavy and I knew that I could have felt it even if the room would have been full of people and we were at the extremities of it.
After seconds her eyes shifted back to my hand and once again she started to draw.
"I don't get this." Allison said, her voice trembling and on the verge of crying "I don't get why he's out there, and why he Ieft us. And I can't... I can't stop my hands from shaking."
"It's okay. It's okay, it's gonna be okay." Jackson took her hands in in own, cradling them as he tried to console the girl. Probably too much. The way Elizabeth snapped her head towards the two so quickly was actually comical. Her stunning eyes danced between the two and the girlfriend of the boy who was being too touchy and gentle with the younger Argent girl.
"Okay." Allison whispered back. I didn't know if she was uncomfortable with Jackson or not and I honestly didn't very much care. What I did care about was the way my witch jumped from her place next to me to sneak her arm around her childhood best friend.
"Jackson, you handed me the sulfuric acid, right? It has to be sulfuric acid.
It won't ignite if it's not." Lydia specified only for her boyfriend to snap at her
"I gave you exactly what you asked for, didn't I?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure you did." She said back with an assured smile, now stepping closer to her best friend.
"So" Jackson said, now looking at Elizabeth "Since it's cousin that is trying to kill us and all" he motioned with his hand. "Don't you think that you could, I don't know, talk him out of it?"
Her plump lips curled into a snarl "If I was you, I would worry more about not being alive for my cousin to kill you" her glare pierced through his tough guy exterior making the boy clench his jaw. I could feel the smirk that was forming on my face as I stared at them. An hinged predatory one, a smirk commonly used by actors in slasher movies when playing psychotic characters. It was one of the things that I loved to do the most. It never failed to intimidate anyone. Well, anyone apart from the brunette werewolf-witch who always answered to it with a fierce glare.
Suddenly, a loud animalistic growl echoed around the school. I groaned in pain as with my heightened hearing I could feel it even more than the human, who too, covered their ears slightly at the sound. Jackson cradled his neck, kneeling on the floor from the pain. My head immediately turned towards Elizabeth at the same time as she turned towards me. I didn't waste a second to go near her as the others were preoccupied with Jackson who was yelling in pain on the ground.
Her slender hand cupped my jaw, turning my head from side to side taking me completely by surprise. "Your ears are bleeding" She said, making me quickly moved her hands away to make me able to examine her. My finger brushed her hair out the way, blood once again staining her perfectly pale skin.
"Are you alright?" She asked me making me nod
"You?"
"Good" She replied a mischievous smile forming on her lips "We need to clean the blood off of you before they see it" Licking her thumbs she swapped it on the skin near my ear "I can just hide mine with my hair"
"If you think that having you cleaning me with your spit would gross me out" I said closing more distance between our faces. My thumb coming to rest on her lower lip slightly tugging at it "You are completely wrong, little witch"
The continuous yells of pain made me groan in annoyance. Clenching my jaw I snapped my head towards Jackson who now with the help of Lydia and Allison was standing up
"Uh, no, I'm fine. Like, seriously, I'm okay." The shakely said still touching the back of is neck
"That didn't sound okay at all."
"What's on the back of your neck?" Stiles asked, pointing at it only for Jackson to smack his hand away.
"I said I'm fine."
"It's been there for days. He won't tell me what happened." Lydia informed the group
"As if you actually care." Jackson once again snapped at his girlfriend. Now his tone bleeding more with malice
"Mind how you speak to her" The Hale hybrid said, her body now slightly in front of the strawberry blonde girl covering his view of her.
" AII right, can we not argue for half a second here?" Stiles proposed trying to diffuse the tension growing by the second
"Where's Scott? He should be back by now..." Allison said preoccupied
"He will be back, Ally. Don't worry, alright" Elizabeth said trying to comfort her friend. Allison, quick to accept her words, neared the two girls, who intertwined their arms together.
The sound of the lock turning made all of us rush towards the door
"Scott!" Allison yelled, shouting his boyfriend's name as she tried, and unsuccessfully, to open the door "Scott!"
"Where's he going?"
"Scott. Scott. Scott! Scott!!" Allison continued
Over her shouting my hearing picked up the sound of the sirens. Exchanging a nod with Ellie, I exhaled in relief.
"Stop." Lydia said, probably now, hearing the sirens too "Stop! Do you hear that? Listen."
We all rushed to the windows as multiple police cars accosted the school.

╰┈˚ · ° . As an emancipated teen, I didn't have to wait for anyone to come and pick me up, but still, while sitting on my bike, I overheard the sheriff interrogate Elizabeth thanks to my enchanted hearing. Her grandmother was near her but the girl, as always, was stubborn as hell. Not a word passed from her rosy lips. After minutes and minutes of unanswered questions the sheriff left the duo of grandmother and granddaughter alone. I walked towards them, their whispers of what really happened rushing to my ears.
"I'm sorry to interrupt," I said, smiling charmingly at Rosalie Warren. "Can I borrow Elizabeth for another couple of hours? I know she hasn't eaten anything else since lunch." Then with mischievousness I added "She was starving enough to steal with her magic from the vending machines"
Elizabeth's eyes widened as she turned towards her grandmother who slapped the girl behind her head repeatedly murmuring how stupid and reckless she had been.
The older witch sighed, returning to her joyful self offering me back a cheerful smile "Sure. Make sure she eats a lot, please. I can feel how drained she is."
"Of course. It was a pleasure meeting you again. Mrs. Warren" another mischievous and charming grin later I looked towards my witch, who was currently drilling her glare into my head "Let's go, little witch."
I turned around and walked to my bike, not waiting for her to follow, I knew she would.
"You are an asshole" She seethed as soon as she was in front of my bike.
"I know," I said smirking while offering her a helmet. "Like I said, you need to eat, so let's go." Huffing she didn't make me repeat again. As soon as she was seated, I manipulated the shadows to make sure she was secure and pressed tightly against my body.
"Demon!" She sneered at the tendrils that were wrapped around her.
I laughed at the expression that she was surely making inside the helmet. I knew that she hated them. But I didn't do It to annoy her, maybe just a little bit, after all, I loved making her angry. But she was tired, starving and without much energy left. I didn't want her to accidentally fall from the bike.
I spared a quick glance back at her from the rear-view mirrors, and I knew, that even over the wind, that she had heard me as I spoke back to her "Witch."
The difference from the other time, I could feel the lack of the normal amount of venom when I said it.
