Jungkook was a bit taken aback by the sudden hug of Yoongi and the words he said

But Jungkook didn't hugged Yoongi back and stood there still

"Y-you h-hate m-me kook?" Yoongi asked while snuggling into Jungkook's chest

Jungkook sighed and said "no"

"I'm r-really s-sorry Kook, p-please f-forgive me" Yoongi said while sobbing out

Jungkook gently pulled away Yoongi from his embrace and said "I don't hate you, i still do care about you, but I'm not able to forget that incident or forgive you. Let's be like this hyung"

Yoongi cried while looking down

"You should had thought about these before doing that death prank!! Now crying and asking for forgiveness won't bring our dad back!" Jungkook said with his ice cold tone

"I k-know b-but can you f-forgive me k-kook? T-the guilt i-inside me is k-killing m-me, please?" Yoongi asked while looking at Jungkook with a pleading tone

Jungkook was about to say something but before that his phone started to ringing

Jungkook took his phone and saw that the call was from Yoongi's doctor

"Hello Mr.fang" Jungkook said as he picked the call

"Yeah, why you called me Jungkook?" Mr.fang asked

"I think it will be okay if we do a check up for hyung" Jungkook said with a concerned tone

"Alright, are you coming to the hospital or should I come there?" Mr.fang asked softly

"Are you in the hospital now?" Jungkook asked

"No, I'm on my way to the hospital" Mr.fang said

"Can you come to the home itself doctor?" Jungkook asked

"Yeah sure, I will be there in few minutes" Mr.fang said

"Ok doctor, thank you" saying this Jungkook cutted the call

Jungkook's eyes landed on Yoongi who is sitting on the bed while wiping his tears away

"Mr.fang will be here soon, cooperate with him for the check up! Im leaving" Jungkook said coldly

"Where are you going? You said that you don't have to go to the office today" Yoongi asked in a panicked way because he is scared of the hospital stuffs and all

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm just going to my room! aren't you old enough to manage the check up by your own?" Jungkook asked as he raised his brow

Yoongi felt a pang on his heart as he heard to Jungkook's words

Jungkook know the fear of Yoongi very well and had always taken care of him like a toddler throughout the check up before but now it had also changed

"I w-won't create any trouble, c-can you stay with me during the check up time? Please kook?" Yoongi asked, more like begging

Jungkook sighed but nodded his head and sat on the couch and started to scroll through his phone

Yoongi layed down on the bed and cuddled a pillow to console himself

Soon enough they heard the door knocking sound

"Come in!" Jungkook said

Mr.fang came inside

"What happened suddenly?" Mr.fang asked as he looked at Yoongi who is sleeping while hugging a pillow

"Nothing new" Jungkook mumbled as he looked down

"This won't work like this Jungkook!! I told you many times to change yourself, at least for the sake of his health!" Mr.fang scolded Jungkook with an cold tone

Jungkook didn't said anything and stood there still

"Wake him up!" Mr.fang said as he sighed

Jungkook nodded his head and patted Yoongi's shoulder to wake him up

Yoongi opened his eyes and looked around, on seeing Mr.fang he sat up on the bed and rubbed his eyes cutely

"Feeling tired?" Mr.fang asked softly

Yoongi nodded his head while looking down

"Why?" Mr.fang asked again, taking out his stethoscope

"The medicines are making me feel so tired, can I stop taking them? Please?" Yoongi asked while looking at Mr.fang cutely

Mr.fang didn't know what to answer, he know that the medicines are of heavy doses

Mr.fang also know one thing, to make Yoongi like before is in Jungkook's hand

"Let's talk about that last, now take some deep breaths" Mr.fang said as he placed the diaphragm over Yoongi's chest

Yoongi took some deep breaths in

"Good" Mr.fang said and kept the stethoscope away

Mr.fang then checked Yoongi's other vitals

"How about taking a blood test?" Mr.fang asked to Jungkook

"Is it important?" Jungkook asked back with a frown

"He looks pale, a blood test will help to find out what had happened" Mr.fang explained

"Ok you can proceed doctor" Jungkook said while nodding his head

Mr.fang nodded his head and started to taking out the blood test kit

"Kookie" Yoongi called out Jungkook while looking at him with his teary eyes

Jungkook didn't said anything and just stood there, ignoring Yoongi completely

Mr.fang tried to take Yoongi's left hand, but he scooted away from him and crawled on the bed towards Jungkook

"Hyung!!" Jungkook sounded a bit harsh

Yoongi sobbed on hearing Jungkook's harsh tone

Jungkook sighed and said "Lay down on the bed"

Yoongi obeyed Jungkook and layed on the bed

"Hold his hand for me" Mr.fang said to Jungkook

Jungkook sighed, he pulled up Yoongi's left hand sleeves and held his hand down firmly

"Don't move ok? It won't hurt too much" Mr.fang said while rubbing a cotton ball on Yoongi's crook of elbow

Yoongi nodded his head and closed his eyes tightly

Jungkook noticed how scared Yoongi is looking

"Don't be scared, it will be alright" Jungkook said in a calm tone

Yoongi nodded his head with his eyes closed still

Mr.fang gently inserted the needle in

"Ahh!" Yoongi whimpered in pain

"Shh, the worst part is over" Mr.fang said softly and pulled the plunger letting the blood slide into the syringe

After a few seconds he pulled the needle out and pressed a cotton ball upon it and bandaged it

"Hold it for a minute" Mr.fang said to Jungkook while transferring the blood into the container

Jungkook nodded his head and pressed onto the bandage softly

"H-hurts" Yoongi said while sniffing

"It will be fine" Jungkook said

"Jungkook I wanna talk to you" Mr.fang said in a serious tone

Jungkook nodded his head and got up from the bed

"Yoongi take the medicine for few more days ok?" Mr.fang said softly

"I don't want to please" Yoongi said as he sat up on the bed

"Only for few more days please?" Mr.fang asked softly

"O-ok" Yoongi said and nodded his head

"Good! Take care ok? And Jungkook come with me" Mr.fang said as he went outside the room

Jungkook also followed Mr.fang to the living room

In the living room :

"When will stop all these?" Mr.fang asked

"What?" Jungkook asked back

"Being rude and cold to yoongi, hurting him mentally! When will you stop these all? It's been a year since you started this Jungkook!!" Mr.fang yelled out

Mr.fang had been the family doctor of min family for more than 5 years and he know everything about them including how Mr.min died

"I told you doctor, I don't hate him! I do care about him!! Isn't that enough?" Jungkook asked as he clenched his fist

"You care about him? What a joke Jungkook" Mr.fang said as he chuckled

"If you really care about him, stop hurting him mentally!! If you keep being like this to Yoongi, then one day he will surely end his life as he won't be able to bear the guilt anymore!! So change yourself like before, before it gets too late!" Mr.fang said and left from there

Jungkook sat on the couch, a tear rolled down his cheeks

"I don't know why hyung, but I'm not able to forget that day! Why you did that hyung? Why? How could you do such prank even after you know that our dad was a heart patient?" Jungkook thought in his mind as he cried silently
