Chapter about past hehe
"Do you understand me?" The voice of the god reverberated through the heavens, dripping with disappointment. His words echoed across the celestial realm, ensuring that all would hear his discontented
His many eyes displayed a mix of frustration and disappointment, as if his very essence reflected the anguished emotions that consumed him
The god stood at a distance, facing his favourite little angel, Lucifer. A sense of unappreciation gnawed at him, as if his grand ideas for the future and the intricate planning of his dreams were dismissed as foolish. It felt disheartening to be met with such disdainful disregard, especially when he saw the potential hidden within the young angel
How could they understand the magnitude of his vision when they still saw him as nothing more than a little child?
"Yes..." Lucifer spoke, his voice trembling with a mix of sorrow and frustration.
The tears welled up in his eyes, cascading down his cheeks like tiny rivulets. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white as he struggled to contain the overwhelming emotions within him
Another little child, Y/N, stood behind God, her small hands tightly grasping his pure white cape. Her innocent eyes peeked through the folds of the fabric, silently observing the unfolding scene
"Say it"
"Say I wanna hear you say" God spoke once again, his voice laced with a dissatisfied. He raised his head, his gaze piercing as he awaited a response
She could hear the sound of sobbing emanating from her twin brother, and her heart filled with a profound sense of concern for him
Her eyes reflected her deep worry, her wings drooping in response to the weight of the situation. She continued to tightly grasp his cape in her small hands
"My dreams are just dreams" Lucifer spoke, his voice trembling with vulnerability. He sniffed softly, fighting back tears, as his gaze shifted downward, refusing to meet the eyes of God
She let out a soft gasp at the heart-wrenching sight, her instinct urging her to go to Lucifer's side. However, her attempts were met with a firm refusal from God, who blocked her path with his large hand
It covered her sighs, preventing her from seeing or expressing her deep concern. A sense of helplessness washed over her
"Say it again!" God commanded, his voice slowly rising in intensity. His demand hung in the air
"My dreams are just dreams" he repeated once again, his voice laced with a tumultuous blend of anger and sorrow
His face contorted with the overwhelming anguish that gripped his being. As the emotions surged within him, his six wings expanded outward, their majestic span a poignant reflection of the turmoil within his soul
"Say it again!"
"My dreams... are just dream!" he yelled, his voice resounding with a mix of anger and desperation, intentionally loud enough for God to hear
With a forceful flap of his wings, he flew into the air, his entire being consumed by a storm of emotions. He fought to suppress the sobs that threatened to escape his tormented soul. The air grew heavy with tension as silence enveloped the scene
His yell reverberated through the air, overwhelming her senses as it felt like her ears were being deafened. She quickly shut her eyes tightly, trying to shield herself from the intensity of the moment
Her grip on whatever she held tightened, her small body trembling with the weight of the anguished atmosphere. Seeking solace and protection, her six wings enveloped her body, creating a shield against the emotional turmoil that surrounded her
Lucifer flew in silence, his gaze fixed upon God, who remained eerily quiet
But, the sight of God turning his head away from him struck Lucifer like a dagger to the heart. The realization of this rejection intensified his sadness, causing the floodgates of his emotions to burst open
His tears streaming down his face, he sobbed uncontrollably, unable to bear the weight of the pain any longer. Without offering any explanation, he abruptly turned away and took flight
As soon as he was gone, God's attention shifted towards her, noticing the fear etched across her face. She instinctively sought refuge within the comforting embrace of her own wings, trying to cover up herself. God's expression softened with deep concern to her
Her eyes gradually opened, revealing the sight of him extending his hand towards her
"My dear Shining star, don't be afraid. I am here with you"
She raised her small hand, her fingers trembling slightly, and placed it on his large, firm hand. He responded by gently clasping her hand, providing a comforting grip. Using both hands, he carefully lifted her up
She wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to him tightly, while he held her close to his chest. Her head nestled into the crook of his neck, seeking comfort and security. As his long hair cascaded over her head
His four eyes reflected deep sorrow, a glimmer of regret flickering within them, as if he now realized the weight of his words spoken to Lucifer
She struggled to push aside his hair, desperately trying to catch a glimpse through the tangled strands. Her eyes, once vibrant and wide, blinked with a heaviness that mirrored the weight of her emotions
The once-sparkling orbs now seemed dull and devoid of joy. Her pupils constricted, shrinking into tiny pinpricks, as a wave of sad washed over her in the presence of Lucifer. The realization dawned upon her that he hadn't flown away yet
His eyes lacked any trace of emotion except for one
jealousy
And mixed with insecurity. It was a jealousy that stemmed from things she remained unaware of. The intensity of his gaze revealed the tangled emotions he grappled with, hidden from her known
Her attention became fully focused as she felt herself being gently lifted into the air, letting out a small squeak of surprise. Just before she could fall, God swiftly caught her in his arms, a wide grin spreading across his face and he pinched her cheek
"I'm afraid that you might follow in your brother's footsteps, repeating his actions and disregarding the consequences" God spoke gently, patting her back in a comforting manner. She responded with a silent nod
...
The sound persisted, echoing with small sobs that seeped through the door. His small frame trembled, collapsing onto the ground as he sought refuge. Wrapping his arm tightly around his knee, he clung to himself in a desperate, unyielding embrace. The tears flowed unabated, a torrent of anguish that seemed endless
His once dear dream was ruthlessly crushed right before his eyes, leaving him defeated in the presence of his own Father, God.
Desperately yearning for his dream to become a reality, he found himself trapped in a perpetual cycle of disappointment, never fully embraced or favored as his Father's beloved child
And yet, the complete embrace that God granted... was bestowed upon his own twin, Y/N, who obediently followed every command, effortlessly gaining acceptance for her ideas. HER DREAM. He couldn't help but harbor a deep-seated resentment, hating the situation, yet unable to act against it, all because of her
Born at the same time, sharing the same age, they were twins. But- she, amidst their siblings, effortlessly claimed the coveted position of being the favorite
The very idea of her presence weighed heavily on him, plunging him into a deep abyss of melancholy and boiling rage. Tears continued to trickle down his youthful face, staining his cheeks with a trail of sorrow
His small hand curled into a fist, his nails pierced his tender flesh, drawing forth a bittersweet flow of golden-hued blood
His eyes blazed with fury as he flung his top hat to the ground in a fit of anger. Using a forceful stomp, he crushed the hat beneath his boot, reducing it to a mangled mess
Very silly
Thump thump echoed the relentless stomping of his feet, the rhythmic pounding serving as a desperate outlet for his pent-up emotions. Until a distinct knocking sound resonated through the door, demanding his attention
He abruptly ceased his stomping, kicking the remnants of the destroyed hat away, scattering its pieces in all directions. Taking a deep breath, he approached the door and opened it
There she was again, her pure golden six wings spread wide. She energetically flapped her wings, kept knock on the door. But didn't realise that he had already swung it open. She caught off guard, she quickly halted her motion, a sheepish blush coloring her cheeks, she gracefully descended to the ground
be reminded that- their room door is very...HUGE, thus she has to fly up to knock on it
"Oh! Lucii!"
She spoke softly, barely above a whisper. The sound of a slight squeal escaped her lips, betraying the joy she felt. Her eyes were radiant, her pupils expanding to make room for even the slightest hint of light
A wide smile formed on her face, revealing a gleaming set of teeth. She was overjoyed to see her twin, her happiness clearly evident
She took a few hesitant steps towards him, only to have him back away from her. A small, grimacing face formed on his features, and he raised his arms to shield himself from her approach, letting out a small hump as he did so
That hurts her feelings for sure
"What do you want, huh? What are you here for? You are not supposed to be there" Lucifer demanded, his voice edged with annoyance. His eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed as his cheeks squished together, forming deep creases below his eyes from the force of his frown
"But- this is my room as well?"
Yeah, this room's supposed to be shared together.
He tries to look intimidating with his small head cocked to the side and a nasty expression etched on his features, but she just stares blankly at him, completely unimpressed. She's seen enough to know that a mere stare isn't going to scare her off
The child lets out a small sigh and lowers her eyes slightly, a concerned look crossing her face
"Well, I just thought, I could have cheered you up! Your dreams were meant to come true, like I did - wait, no, I want to give you this ducky!" she says, her voice laced with a hint of excitement
"Look!" She can't help but let out small giggles as she pulls out the small, soft, yellow alive baby duck from her small hand and holds it out to him and it quacks, her eyes sparkling with joy
SLAP!
Angering slap the duck away from her hand. It fell to the ground with a soft, padded thud, and she let out a gasp at the suddenness of the slap. She stared at the duck for a moment before turning back to him
She knelt down and scooped up the duck, holding it close to her chest as it quivered slightly in her hand. Its eyes were shut tight and its breath came in small, quick bursts, indicating that it was in pain. A single tear was streaming down her cheek as she glared up at him
"You hurt him! Why would you do that?-"
"I don't want it!" He screamed
He felt a lump form in his throat and tears well up in his eyes, but he did his best to choke back the sob that threatened to escape. His shaking little hands, he wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt, trying to hide the emotions he was feeling. He couldn't bring himself to look at her
As she breathed out, the ducky in her hand suddenly disappeared, its essence swallowed up by the bright orange flames that surrounded it. With a small gasp of shock, she quickly rose from the floor and stepped a bit closer to him, her eyes pleading with him to understand
"I thought you loved duckies?" she whispered softly, her voice barely above a whisper
"Not that- it's you! Why is it that your dreams can be accepted and not mine?" he exclaimed angrily. His lip trembled and his voice cracked as he tried his best to contain his emotions
"It's not fair! It's just not fair!" he sobbed, his tears rolling down his cheeks. He glared up at her, his small fists clenched tightly at his sides
Her eyes widened slightly as she watched Lucifer cry. His sobs were small and quiet, but they were heartbreaking nonetheless. She felt a pang of pity for him, and a tiny shred of guilt for her own role in causing his pain. She knew that she had been unfair and selfish, and that somehow, her actions had caused Lucifer to feel rejected
Before he could react, she wrapped her small arms around him in a tight hug. Her smile was wide and bright, and her eyes shone with happiness at the gesture. "It's okay" she spoke softly, her voice filled with cheerful and comfort
"Sorry" she said, her tone still cheery despite the tension of the situation
She kept her arms wrapped tightly around him, humming a soft tune as she tried to comfort him in her own way
He sniffled and wiped his tears, his eyes meeting hers as he looked up at her. Her words seemed to have no effect on him, and the happiness she was hoping for did not rise
"I still didn't forgive you"
He suddenly pushed away from her, his small hands hitting her away with surprising strength. He turned away from her, his back facing her as he stood there, his head hung low
"...I hate you!" he sobbed, his voice filled with anger and pain
He didn't mean to push her that hard, but he was so angry and hurt. As she stumbled and fell, her small body spinning around, she felt a sharp pain in her right eye as she hit something hard and letting out small scream
The pain in her eye was so intense, she could barely see through the tears. She could feel a warm, golden-colored blood dripping from her right eye, her hand unable to stop it from spilling forth. Her small body jerked reflexively in her attempts at stopping the blood, her hand smeared golden as she tried desperately to stem the flow. The pain was too much to bear
Her screaming filled the entire room, her eyes bleeding a golden color as she writhed in pain on the floor. He turned around in shock and his eyes went wide with fear and regret at what he had done
He let out a small gasp of shock and disbelief, his small hands covering his mouth in regret. He couldn't believe that he had hurt her so badly, and the realization that he had caused this pain made his heart sink
Just as he was trying his best to help her, he suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching. He looked up to see their older brother, Micheal, he was filled with fear and dread, and he stepped back even further from her
Michael rushed towards her, his wings lifting him off the ground as he quickly flew over. His eyes widened as he saw her bleeding eyes, and his heart filled with guilt. He quickly reached out to heal her, his power flowing into her eyes
The golden blood stopped flowing and her eyes were healed, with no trace of the wounds. He held her tightly, cradling her small body in his arms, and she wept softly into his chest. His robe was stained with her golden blood but doesn't matter to him
Michael's face shifted from grief to anger in an instant. He turned towards Lucifer, his eyes filled with fury, but saw that his little brother was already gone, his wings flapping as he flew away out of the window, the curtains flying in his wake
Gone.
