Dear Elizabeth,

I don't know what to say. I wish I could be with you now more than ever. I wish I could hold you and just be able to be there for you. Your father is an amazing man. I look up to him very much. You're right. He is strong, and he's gonna fight for as long as he can. But I know that whatever happens, he's gonna be okay and so will you and your mother. You know he'll always be with you wether he's gone or not. His love for you will never die. I'll be sure to write him and your mother soon. I can't imagine what she's going through. I'll tell my mother to look out for her as well. She'll there for them if they need anything. God, I don't even want to believe there could be a world without your father. That man is a saint. He's the most welcoming person I've ever met. The day you took me to meet him, I expected him to hate my guts for taking his daughter away for a whole week without a word, but then he invited me inside for dinner. I hope by some miracle we will make it back before he goes. I hope we can say goodbye one last time. Stay safe, doll and know I love you.
