"We need to talk about Kelsey," Lillian began as she tucked her hair behind her ears mentally repeating the pep talk that Ethan had given her on the way back to her room,

"No we need to talk about you and Ethan!" Indigo quickly shook her head in disagreement,

"Yeah we're dating," the blonde nodded as she rolled her eyes,

"Look I'm not going to befriend your girlfriend," she added in a duh tone,

"Why not?" The brunette shot back as though she hadn't been there for the girls little moment prior that day,

"She threatened me!" The defender pointed out as her jaw dropped,

"She didn't mean it," the striker sighed as she began to explain,

"Because that makes it so much better?" Lillian dropped her bag onto her bed,

"Did you have anything to do with that?" She added as she cocked her head,

"Are you seriously asking me that?" Indigo had to admit that the question hurt,

Originally she was on Lillian's side when she had the conversation with Kelsey but now wanted to play devils advocate,

"Why else would your girlfriend stalk me or some shit," the blonde pointed out as she raised her eyebrow,

"Look she said that she started that because she knew I was worried about you," the brunette mumbled as she looked down to the bracelet that she had been given by her girlfriend just that week before.

"You were worried because I didn't tell you who I was sleeping with?" The defender let out a devilish laugh as she thought she might have been going crazy,

There was a world that someone actually thought that Kelsey was in the right.

"No because you were sneaking around with him," the striker corrected her,

"This is stupid," Lillian threw her head back as she shook her head,

"I know!" Indigo was quick to agree giving the younger girl the false sense of hope that she was on her side,

"You were a bad friend," she added as she sipped her water quickly bursting that bubble that Lillian had,

"Look if you seriously think me not telling you that I was dating Ethan is worse than Kelsey stalking me then I don't know if I want to be friends anymore." The blonde blurted out as she felt tear well up in her eyes,

"Maybe we shouldn't," the brunette nodded somehow feeling the same sense of hurt that Lillian was going through,

"I am going to stay with Kelsey for a few nights," she added as she got up and made her way to her closet getting a bag for some clothes,

She didn't plan on going back to her own room anytime soon.

"Good," the defender went to the bathroom letting that be the last time she would see her roommate for the foreseeable future.

Mark made his way to Lillian's dorm as she didn't make it to the diner that morning.

"Lilly?" Mark asked as he knocked on the door,

"You good?" He added as he opened it knowing that she was in there based on her life360 location,

The duo had downloaded the app one time after Lillian got lost at a party,

"Markie," Lillian cooed as she looked up to see the boy,

"What's wrong?" The brunette asked as he shut the door quickly joining her on her bed,

"Indigo and I had a fight," the blonde explained as she sniffled,

Surprisingly enough during the almost two years that the girls had known each other that was the first fight that they had ever had.

"I'm sure it will be okay," the hockey player sighed as his fingers instinctively went through her hair in an attempt to comfort her,

"I don't think it will be," the soccer player shook her head as she rested her head on his chest letting the sound of his heartbeat calm her down,

"Look don't you have a class in like fifteen minutes," Mark pointed out as he looked at his watch,

"Told the professor I'm sick," Lillian mumbled as she fiddled with the hem of the boys shirt,

"Isn't that your class with Ethan?" It had taken him a few months but the brunette was now fairly confident that he knew the girl's schedule,

"Yeah," the blonde nodded not seeing where he was going with it,

"Well I for one think that your boyfriend is just the person you need to see right now." As much as the hockey player didn't want to admit it he knew that Ethan knew how to deal with the ins and outs of Lillian's life,

"And that you shouldn't be lying to your professors," he added as he tapped his pointer finger on her nose,

"I don't wanna talk to him," the soccer player shook her head as she knew that he would try to be her voice of reason,

And sometimes in life Lillian did not want to hear her reasonable voice.

"Can't a girl feel shit by herself in peace?" She groaned as she cocked her head,

"Unfortunately for you too many of the boys care about you," Mark pointed out as he let out a soft laugh,

"Now let's get you to class," he smiled as he got up holding his hand out,

"Bu-" Lillian was quick to try to protest,

"Nope," the brunette shook his head,

"If we aren't missing classes for boys then we aren't missing classes at all." He added reminding her of the time that Ethan semi-rejected her,

She went to all of her classes then.

"Fine," the blonde mumbled getting off of her bed realising that the older boy was going to win this one.

Ethan and Lillian were sat in the library as they were given the class time to work on a mini project that they had just been assigned,

"How did things go with Indigo?" Ethan asked as he pulled the girls chair closer to himself,

"Alright," Lillian muttered as she didn't look up from her iPad,

"Lilly," the brunette spoke in this near warning tone causing her to look at him,

"Let's just say that I don't have a roommate right now," the blonde explained as she placed her stylus on the table,

"Did she kick you out?" The hockey players eyes went wide as he grew alarmed,

"God no," the soccer player shook her head,

"She moved in with Kelsey," she added as she tucked her hair behind her ear,

"I'm sorry," Ethan sighed as his facial expressions softened,

"It just hurts," Lillian mumbled causing the boy to wrap his arms around her,

"She's meant to be one of my closest friends but clearly not," she added as she tried to not get emotional,

It really didn't help her that she was currently on her period and it seemed that her favourite thing to do during that week was cry.

"Just give her a few days," the brunette placed a kiss on her head as he watched her furrow her eyebrows,

She couldn't understand how he seemed to be calm in the situation,

"This shouldn't be something she actually has to think about," the blonde argued as she spoke in a duh tone,

"Not everyone thinks like you love," the hockey player pointed out not noticing how a small grin formed on her face at the new nickname,

"I know," the soccer player nodded as she let out a sigh,

"Tell you what," Ethan's arms dropped from around her as he moved one of his hands to her lap,

"Since you've got the room to yourself." He added causing the girl to smirk,

"You planning on moving in?" Lillian teased as she wriggled her eyebrows,

"No," the brunette softly laughed as he shook his head,

"I was going to say let's do movie night tonight," he added as he knew that they were her favourite thing to do,

Often times if there was something going on in her life that she wanted to just ignore for a little while longer she'd drown herself in her favourite movies. To her movies were like therapy, but free.

"Really?" The blonde eyes lit up as she smiled,

"Yeah," Ethan nodded as he watched her get back to work now desperate to finish so that they could get back to her room.

AN: low-key hated this chapter but we move on and can just ignore the fact that this was shit in the grand scheme of things.

But on a more positive note! I know who LI is for the next book (next three really if it want to get technical)

But after August I'd like to look at doing another college hockey book, so who would you want to see as the LI to that (they would have to be players for the next school year so like Luke Hughes wouldn't be an option)
