𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍 the gym when Rutger came over to talk to her,

"You got a sec?" Rutger asked as he grew nervous,

Ethan had been icing the boy out the last few days and the freshman assumed that Lillian had told the boy about what happened between them.

"Yeah sure," Lillian nodded as she pressed pause on her music as she turned to him,

"Look whilst that night was really fun we can't do it again," the boy explained as he scratched the back of his neck,

"Was I that bad?" The girl joked as she let out a snort,

"No it's just Ethan will kill me," the hockey player explained causing the older girl to stop in her tracks,

"Why would he do that?" The soccer player asked as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"Because he said that you two were together," Rutger spoke in a duh tone as though the girl should have already known about this,

"I'm single Rut," Lillian explained as she grew more confused,

"Yeah but like you two were sleeping together," the boy pointed out oblivious to the fact that the girl grew angry,

"I've got to get going," the girl grumbled as she was going to go and kill Ethan,

"Did I say the wrong thing?" The hockey player asked as he cocked his head,

"No," the soccer player shook her head as she sighed,

"I just realised that I have to get to class soon," she lied as she grabbed her things and made her way back to her room.

After learning that Ethan was at the arena Lillian came to find him with that felt like smoke in her ears.

"What the fuck are you playing at Edwards!" Lillian yelled as she stood on the ice,

"Woah," Ethan stopped skating and looked up to see her coming directly towards him,

"What are you on about?" He added as he cocked his head,

"You told Rut we were sleeping together!" The girl pointed out as she shoved her finger into his chest,

"Okay I never said that," the boy furrowed his eyebrows as he shook his head,

"Then why did he just come and apologise to me because he was flirting with Ethan's girl?" The blonde asked as she crossed her arms,

If this was a cartoon you'd see the smoke that was pouring out of her ears.

"So you're my girl again?" The brunette smirked as he scratched his chin,

"Wipe that smirk off of your face!" Lillian grumbled as she sent him a glare,

"Look he asked me if you were my girl or Lukes and I said that you were sort of my girl," Ethan explained as he shrugged,

"But I'm not!" The girls jaw dropped as she couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth,

"Look we have a rule that even exes are off limit on the team." The boy pointed out as the girl applied to that rule as well.

"So why does he think we're sleeping together!" The blonde asked as it still doesn't make sense,

"I don't know," the brunette shrugged as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"How did this come up anyways?" He added as he cocked his head,

"If you must know he was telling me that we couldn't sleep together anymore," the soccer player explained as she didn't think that it was an important part of the conversation,

"You slept with him?" The hockey player furrowed his eyebrows as he clenched his jaw,

"I'm a single woman Ethan," Lillian nodded as she reminded him that she had broken up with him,

"And now you need to apologise to your teammate!" She added as she sent him a glare,

"I'll clear it up-" Ethan sighed as he raked his fingers through his hair,

"No I'll talk to him you can apologise after," the girl shook her head as she didn't want him to screw things up further,

"As you've clearly done enough," she added as she let out a sigh,

"Look I'm sorry," the boy apologised as he could see that the girl was truly upset,

"I know," the blonde nodded,

"Just don't do it again," she added as she sent him a warning look,

She was quick to forgive him because she had done the same with Indigo and didn't want to come off as a hypocrite,

She really did have to find some friends who didn't meddle though.

He also had her totally wrapped around his finger and she really could never stay mad at him for long when he gave her a smile.

"I won't," the hockey player couldn't help but crack a small smile as the girl yelled at him,

She was cute when she got all aggressive,

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go tell a man that you haven't fucked me since January," the soccer player pointed out as she didn't notice the smirk on Ethan face when he realised that Rutger was the first guy that she had slept with since Ethan,

However that did also made him feel bad about the fact that he had been with multiple people since they broke up, despite the fact that all of them were to try to get over Lillian it still didn't make it right.

"You could come and skate for a bit though?" Ethan proposed as he smiled holding his hands out to her,

"I haven't properly skated in months," Lillian pointed out as she shook her head,

"You look like you've still got it," the boy shot back as he had watched her skate to him,

"Come on," he added as he waited for her to grab onto his hand,

"This doesn't mean that I'm happy with you," the girl warned as she finally agreed and took his hand,

"Of course not," the hockey player playfully nodded as he knew that she was not going to be mad at him for long,

"Just relax," he added as he still felt like the girl was tense,

"I'm relaxed," the soccer player nodded as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"You can stop squeezing my hands then," Ethan teased as he motioned to her hands that were gripping his,

"Shush," Lillian scoffed as she rolled her eyes,

"I can still be mad at you," she added in a warning tone,

"Sorry," the boy apologised as he smiled,

"So you got a lucky lady in your life?" The girl asked as she cocked her head,

"We're going back to the deep skate talks?" The hockey player teased as this was where Ethan almost told Lillian that he loved her,

Many many times in fact and it was also where he decided that he was going to prom with her because nobody else was going to make him laugh like she would.

"Why not?" The soccer player asked as she cocked her head,

This was her way of trying to move on.

"Well I'm single," Ethan began as let out a sigh feeling weird that he was talking about this with his ex.

"You know someone that wants to get to know me?" He added as he cocked his head knowing that there were a long line of ladies who wanted to get with him,

"Ethan!" Lillian reached over to hit him as she sent him a glare,

"Lilly!" The brunette matched her tone as he let out a laugh,

"I'm not gonna play matchmaker for you," the blonde spoke in a duh tone as she shook her head,

"Why not?" The hockey player asked as he had an amused grin on his face,

"Because up until a few minutes ago I was apparently your fuck buddy," the soccer player pointed out as she let out a laugh,

"We could change that," the boy pointed out as he smirked,

"I'm gonna just let you think about what you said," the girl muttered as she shook her head,

"I'm not taking that back," Ethan shook his head as he smiled causing her to laugh,

"Edwards, a moment," Coach Naurato called out as the duo stopped moving around and looked up to the man who was looking right back at them,

"I'll see you later," Lillian whispered to Ethan before she skated to the other gate of the rink,

"You've definitely still got it," Ethan muttered as he smiled to himself,

There was definitely something that was still there.

AN: There's not a lot to say about this chapter besides the fact that I used all my self restraint to not have Lillian hit Ethan.
