๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ didn't know how they were able to keep the noice levels down to a minimum as they attempted to make the birthday girl pancakes.
"Mom?" A panicked Luke called as he was on the phone with his mother desperate for any help that the boys could get,
Maybe cooking lessons for the lot of them would be a good Christmas present.
Lillian had woken up to an empty bed causing her to slip on her duck slippers that Luca had bought her after they went pottery shopping and she made her way downstairs where she was met with a strong smell "what's burning?"
"Hi pretty girl," Ethan turned to her with a smile,
"Yeah don't worry she's now awake mom," Luke spoke as he hung up the phone.
Lillian made her way over to the counter as she tried to hold back a laugh at the boys horrible attempt at pancakes.
"The pan is too hot," she pointed out as she turned the heat almost all the way down,
"We were meant to make you breakfast," Mark explained as he motioned to the whisk in his hand.
Deciding to not totally knock their confidence the girl decided that she would rather help them, "why don't I just supervise?" She offered as the boys were quick to nod,
"You are going to want to flip the pancake when you have bubbles forming on the top," she added as she watched Dylan follow her instructions,
Successfully flipping the pancake and being met with a golden brown side Dylan's eyes lit up as he looked at Ethan "your girl is like magic," causing the Canadian to laugh as he nodded wrapping his arm around the girl "I know," he agreed as he sent her a smile,
'Now this is how you spend your twenty first' Lillian thought to herself as she couldn't help it when her heart practically burst at the seems seeing the boys all get excited at their first successful pancake.

Lillian woke up early as she was beyond excited to go to Europe. Sure she was going to miss the boys but she was ready to go back to her favourite country, even if they were taking a pit stop in France first.
"Lilly?" Mark asked as he saw the girl walk into the kitchen,
Lillian looked over the counter to see Mark and Luke "what are you two doing?"
"Just having a talk," Luke explained as he sent her a smile shifting up so that she could sit between them,
"You gonna full me in or what?" The blonde waited for one of them to tell her what it was that they were talking about,
"I told you that she doesn't like secrets," Mark laughed as the girl flicked his leg,
"We were talking about you," Luke shook his head as the girl turned to face him,
"Me?" Lillian cocked her head at the mention of herself,
"How we're proud of you," the Hughes boy explained as he smiled,
"You're proud of me?" The blonde felt her heart melt at the comment,
She was the one who always told the boys how proud they made her but it wasn't often that the comments were reciprocated, she knew that they were proud of her though so she never felt the need to be told.
However when she was told if actually felt really nice.
"We're always proud of you," Mark nodded as he rested his head on her shoulder,
Lillian let out a groan it continued to rain,
"It's not that creepy," Mark mumbled as he looked around the path that they were walking on,
Luke and Mark were walking Lillian back to her dorm.
"Then why are you guys practically on top of me," Lillian laughed as she was sandwiched between the two boys,
"Cause we gotta make sure that you don't get lost," Luke nodded in agreement with his teammate as he also thought that it was a creepy place.
"Where am I gonna let lost in?" The blonde asked as she was with both boys so she knew that she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon,
"It's dark and raining," Mark pointed out as he jumped at the sound of thunder,
He hated the rain,
"You were the one who told us that we had to come with you," he added as he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yeah cause I didn't want to die," Lillian let out a snort as she nodded,
She threatened them that if she were to die they would the first people that she would haunt when she came back as a ghost.
"Now that you're with me I'm fine," she added as she shrugged continuing her walk,
"Lillian slow down!" Luke groaned as he heard the sound of the branches above them bashing together.
Lillian threw her arms around the boys as she sighed "don't let anyone m know that I said this,"
"You two are my favourite boys from the team," she added as she placed a kiss on both of their heads,
"I knew that I would be," Luke mumbled causing the girl to flick his ear,
"Shut up," Mark sent his old teammate a glare as someone was ruining the moment that they had created.

The couple sat in JFK airport as they waited for their flight to France. Despite the fact that Ethan clearly wasn't paying attention as he had fallen asleep two minutes ago Lillian continued on her rant about how America acts like they are the best country but then back it up with the shittiest terminals that she has ever seen. Maybe it was the large levels of renovation programs that she watched on tv with her dad when she was younger but she sat there listening off all the different ways that the airports could improve and they all seemed to have one thing in common, they needed to stop looking like they were still in the 90s. How Lillian knew what those times looked like though? Don't ask her, she wasn't even born yet.
"Flight three zero seven to Nice, flight three zero seven to Nice is now boarding." The intercom announced pulling Lillian out of the rant that she was having with herself.
Lillian went to grab her bag but when she noticed Ethan wasn't moving she took a second to notice how cute he was fast asleep before she placed her hand on his shoulder "baby?"
"Yeah?" Ethan groaned as he hated being woken up. It didn't help either that he was in the middle of his dream where he was about to win a Stanley Cup.
"We gotta go," Lillian explained as she motioned to the time on her watch,
Ethan nodded grabbing his bag as he let out a yawn, "good sleep?" The blonde asked as she smirked feeling his arm go around her shoulder as he was trying to send a message to all of the guys that looked like they were a similar age to the couple if they even looked at Lillian.
"Great sleep," the brunette nodded as he placed a kiss on her lips before they continued walking.

France always had a special place in Lillian's heart. She remembered how her whole family would stay in Nice and just make the drive over to Monaco during the formula one race weekends. Despite the fact that she was never too into the sport she still adored the views that it brought.
That is what caused the duo to spend most of their days walking, which Ethan liked to say was just going to be the justification that he would use to eat his body weight in pasta and pizza when they got to Italy.
Lillian suddenly stopped as she let out a soft gasp seeing a young girl who couldn't have been older than four in a dress that matched her own "I like your dress," she commented as she crouched down to talk to the girl.
"Merci," the red headed girl nodded as she smiled before she ran off to tell her mother that she had meet a pretty girl.
Now Ethan was not the biggest fan of children as they honestly scared him, he didn't like the idea of having to worry about something that was a product of his. The idea of spending time alone with a baby made him want to listen to Lillian's whole evaluation of the ten minute version of All To Well, and even that was rough for him.
"What?" Lillian asked as she saw her boyfriend sporting his infamous thinking grin,
"You look cute with kids," Ethan mumbled as he threw his arm around the girl placing a kiss to her temple,
The blonde almost threw up in her mouth at the thought of having one "don't get any ideas," she added sending him a warning glare. Don't get her wrong she loved children but the idea of having her own made her sick, and as cute as most ladies looked pregnant Lillian already felt like a whale with her food babies that she would create when she would go a little too hard at restaurants. So she didn't want to know how she would feel with an actual baby inside of her.
"You think I want them?" The brunette almost grew defensive as his eyes went wide,
"You think I want them?" The blonde repeated his words showing that they could clearly agree that this trip was going to be a baby making free zone.

AN: the first two parts of this chapter were meant to be in the last chapter but they made that one like way too long, and I wasn't prepared to say goodbye to them yet.
Which is why we got the whole Mark, Luke and Lillian scene because I realised that we really haven't had one of those thus I had to write it in.
The Europe portions of this book have been so much fun to write cause they're making me excited for my own travels!
I'm not even going to try to deny this, the whole airport thing was a rant from me causing like the regional terminals are okay in the US but the international ones are some of the worst I've ever seen and that's coming from a girl who lived in Africa ๐ญ
Anyways I'm going to leave you all now so that we can see what our favourite couple gets up to in Italy!
