๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ felt like an eternity for Lillian as she wanted to see her friends,
"Missed you," Ethan confessed as his hand drew figures on the girls bare thigh,
"Huh?" Lillian snapped out of her gaze as she turned to face him,
"Wanted to see if you were listening," the brunette explained with a smirk,
"Sorry," the blonde apologised as she let out a sigh,
"I'm excited," she added with a smile as she felt like a child counting down the minutes to the end of a long road trip,
"We are almost there," the hockey player turned onto the road of the lake house,
"I missed you," the soccer player confessed,
"You did?" Ethan asked surprised to hear that come from the girl,
"Yeah," Lillian nodded as she smiled,
"Slept in your shirt and everything," she added not realising how that thought went to his other head,
"Don't start on this," the brunette groaned as he clenched his hand around the steering wheel,
"Start on what?" The blonde asked as she cocked her head,
"I'm driving," the hockey player pointed out as the girls fingers danced around the hem of his shorts,
"So?" The soccer player trailed off as she wanted to tease him,
"And we're gonna be around our friends for two weeks," Ethan added as his breath hitched feeling the girl being to move her hand up his thigh,
"That sounds like it's gonna be a you problem," Lillian shrugged as she pouted her plump lips as she leaned over the console to kiss his temple,
"Lillian," the brunette warned as he felt her remove her hand,
"We're here!" The blonde squealed as she practically jumped out of the car,
"Lukey!" She added with a laugh as she was pulled into a hug,
"Lilly!" Luke smiled as he spun her around just enjoying the fact that she was back in his company,
"Let's not smother her before we all get the chance to say hi," Jack teased as he watched the interaction between the duo,
"It's good to see ya Jacky boy," Lillian pulled away from her best friend as she looked at his older brother who now has his tooth fixed,
"Hi Lilly," the middle Hughes brother threw his arm around her as he gave her a hug,
"Fraser!" Trevor let out a gasp as he walked out of the house to see the blonde stood there,
"Zegras!" Lillian cheered as she saw the boy,
"How long have you guys been here?" She added as she cocked her head,
"Since yesterday," Jack explained as the girl nodded,
"Thought you guys were coming next week," the blonde pointed out as she was still confessed why she was seeing them,
"We're going to Montreal with Cole next week," Trevor smiled as they were going to go watch a formula one race there.
"Cole?" Lillian repeated the boys name as it was foreign to her,
She hasn't met him yet,
"Cole," Jack pointed to the boy who walked next to Trevor,
"Hi," the blonde nodded as she silently stared at him,
"Hey," Cole smiled as he waved at the girl wondering who on earth she was.
โโโฆโโ
The laughed as Lillian and Cole celebrated their win,
They had known each other for less than a day and were already on the same wavelength,
"How are they undefeated?" Jack asked as he looked at the duo who had already created a celebratory handshake and everything,
"They're the shortest two here," he added as he crossed his arms wondering how they managed to score another point against himself and Trevor.
"Hey we're both not that short!" Cole was quick to scoff as he sent his friends a glare,
"Told you we should have picked her first," Trevor mumbled as he shook his head,
"When else was I meant to pick you?" Jack almost laughed at his friend's stupidity,
They were playing in teams of two because the majority of the guys were inside taking a nap.
"Right," the ducks player let out a soft gasp remembering the technicality,
"You boys ready to accept defeat?" Lillian asked as she was setting up to serve the ball again,
"Never," the older Hughes brother shook his head as he sent her a smile.

Luke watched as Lillian made her way back to the deck with Cole as they had given up on playing volleyball.
"I'm getting a beer," Cole announced as he looked at the duo,
"You want anything?" He added as he was met with the shake of head from Luke,
"Just a white claw thanks," Lillian smiled as the boy nodded walking into the house,
"You okay?" She added as she sat on the outside couch with him,
"Missed you," Luke confessed as he pulled her into a hug,
"You just woke up from your nap," the blonde laughed as she could tell that he was still sleepy,
"I actually gotta tell you about something," she confessed as she ran her fingers through his curls,
"You okay?" The brunette cocked his head as he sat up to face her,
"I'm leaving Michigan," the soccer player announced as she shrugged,
"You're what?" The hockey player felt his eyes pop out of his head,
"I'm joining you and becoming a drop out!" Lillian decided that she wanted to screw with him a bit as he looked now disappointed,
"I'm only one because I've got the league-" Luke argued as he thought that she was out of her mind,
"I'm going to the draft for the woman's league," the blonde explained as she realised that she had to tell him the truth,
"You play hockey?" The brunette furrowed his eyebrows as he was still clearly half asleep as his brain wasn't working.
"For soccer you idiot!" The soccer player reached out to hit him,
"That's so cool!" The hockey player gasped as his eyes lit up,
"My best friend is gonna be a professional athlete!" He added as he pulled her into a hug,
"When did you find out?" The boy asked as he cocked his head,
"A few days after I left Jersey," Lillian explained as she smiled,
"And you're only telling me this now?" Luke let out a scoff as she sent him a glare,
"Yeah," the blonde nodded,
"Why'd you wait?" The brunette asked quietly as he was almost upset that he didn't know sooner,
"Wanted to see your reaction," the soccer player smirked as she had a grin on her face,
"Why was someone yelling?" Jack asked as he walked over to the duo,
"Do they know?" Luke furrowed his eyebrows as he was hoping that the answer was no,
"Not yet," Lillian shook her head as she looked at the duo,
"You keeping secrets from me now Lilly?" Jack placed his hand on his chest acting offended,
"No Jack," the blonde smiled as tucked her hair behind her ear,
"I've just got news," she added as she watched the two older boys sit down,
"Do tell," Trevor motioned to her to carry on,
"Wait for me!" Cole called out as he saw that something was going on outside,
"I'm gonna play soccer next season," the soccer player did these little jazz hands,
"Like full time," she added as she picked at her nails,
It was weird how two guys that she had known for such a short amount of time had now become such important people in her life.
"What she's tryna say is that she going to the dr-" Luke began as he watched the three boys remain silent,
"I know what's she's trying to say," Jack rolled his eyes as he got up,
"I'm proud of ya," he added as he pulled the girl into a hug,
"Thanks Jack," Lillian smiled as she felt the boy ruffle his hand in her hair,
"Never doubted you for a second," Cole didn't even know that she played soccer,
But he was still going to be supportive,
"Love ya Cole!" The blonde laughed as they heard the glass sliding door open,
"Why are you people yelling?" Dylan grumbled as he walked out still mentally asleep,
"Good morning sunshine," the soccer player cooed as the boy yawned,
"I finally told him," she added as she motioned to Luke,
"He knew?" The youngest Hughes brother let out a scoff as he looked at one of his closest ex-teammates.
"Whole hockey team did," Dylan nodded as they had multiple conversations about their predictions for where the girl would go,
"I wanted to see your reaction," Lillian explained with a shrug as she had to tell him why she had waited for so long,
"FaceTime is a thing for a reason!" Luke shot back in a duh tone.
โโโฆโโ
It was a quiet evening as the group sat in front of the fire,
"I did not act like that!" Lillian argued as she shook her head,
"You walked right past him as he asked for your name," Trevor shot back with a laugh as they were talking about the spring break trip to Jersey,
"Good," Jack sent the girl a smirk as he sipped his beer,
"He was an asshole," he added letting the words come out louder than intended,
"See I have taste," the blonde sent the boy a smile,
"I knew I picked a good girl," Ethan joked as he came back with a new beer in hand,
The couple looked at each other as they couldn't help but grin at each other,
"Lilly," Trevor pulled the girls attention away from her boyfriend causing her to look at the other boy,
"Trevor," Lillian matched his as she waited for him to continue,
"Where do you think that you're going to play?" The Ducks player asked as he cocked his head,
"Who knows," the blonde shrugged as she sipped her drink,
"Reporters think I'm going to Jersey," she added as she enjoyed that idea,
"And she will," Luke was quick to nod as he had spent the afternoon researching the league as he wanted to know more about where his best friend was going,
"I might not," the soccer player countered as she shook her head,
"Others think I'm going to the Angels," she added as the other team that she was possibly going to go to as in LA,
"She's a popular girl with the teams," Mark joked as he sent her a grin,
"What can I say, I know how to make myself wanted." Lillian matched his facial expression,
"Point is I don't mind where I go," she added as she shrugged,
"Even if you guys might have your favourites," the girl pointed out as she knew that they each had a team that they liked,
"We will support you regardless of what happens," Ethan shook his head as he grabbed her hand,
"Thanks E," the blonde sent him a smile as it made her feel better that he was the only one who never made his favourite team known,
"Where is the draft even happening?" Jack asked as he cocked his head,
"New York," Lillian found it amusing that she was getting drafted in her favourite state,
"Good," the forward nodded as he twirled his new ring in his fingers,
"Why?" The soccer player furrowed her eyebrows as she saw the boys all grin,
"We gotta know what state we're going to," Cole explained as he already knew that they were going,
When Jack realised that he got on with the blonde and as a result they invited him along,
"You guys are not all coming with!" Lillian let out a groan as she shook her head,
"Why not?" Ethan furrowed his eyebrows surprised at the girls complaints,
"People are going to think that I've gone mad," the blonde let out a laugh as she loved the boys for coming with but she was clearly going to be the only one who had that many guests.
"About time they learn the truth." Mark joked as he sent the girl a smirk that was met with a simple roll of the eyes.

Ethan woke up to see his girlfriend doing her hair.
"Good morning pretty girl," Ethan smiled as he looked at the girl,
"Hi," Lillian turned around as she now faced him,
"Happy birthday baby," she added as she pecked his lips,
"Thank you," the boy watched as she grabbed a box from her suitcase,
"This is for you," the girl explained as she held the blue box in front of him,
"You didn't have to get me anything," the brunette furrowed his eyebrows as he tugged at the bow,
"This is just something small," the blonde watched as his growing hair sat in a floppy mess on his head,
He looked hot.
"Didn't want the boys seeing it," she added as the lid finally came off,
"Wow," the hockey player smiled as he looked at the book,
"What's wrong with this," he added as he flipped through the book.
The soccer player smirked as she watched him go through the different Polaroids that sat on the different pages "go to page seventy three."
"Oh," Ethan's eyes went wide as he looked up at the girl,
It was a picture of Lillian as she was giving him a blow job.
"Yeah," Lillian nodded as she smiled,
"There are a few more of those like that too," she added as they had recently found out about the element of the Polaroid camera during sex.
"I love it," the brunette put the book next to him as he pulled her towards him as he wanted to kiss her,
"Figured it was a good thing to give you for those nights when you miss me," the blonde explained as she laughed landing on his lap,
"That's gonna be every night," the hockey player sighed as he was going to miss being around her,
Even when they weren't dating he still knew that she was in walking distance. Her going to a soccer team was going to be a whole new thing.
"Then it's a good thing that there's over a hundred of them," the soccer player smirked as the book had 500 pages each with up to three Polaroids or notes of things that she had written.
"How long have you been working on this?" Ethan asked realising how much work that she had put into it,
"Since December," three weeks after they started dating Lillian started working on the book,
"You kept these after we broke up?" The brunette realised that the Polaroid on the cover of the book was one from when they were first dating,
"Indigo wanted me to burn them," the blonde confessed as she laughed,
"Why does that not surprise me?" The hockey player sighed as he shook his head,
"I'm glad you kept them," he added as he placed his hand on her thigh,
"Me too," the soccer player nodded in agreement,
"What are you doing?" She watched as he grabbed something from his hoodie pocket,
"I was gonna give you this on the day of the draft but I figured it would be better to give it to you now," Ethan explained as he handed her a much smaller box,
"What is this?" Lillian asked as she held up the piece of jewellery,
"It's a bracelet," the brunette smiled as he watched the girl study it,
"All of those charm thingies were ones that I got after the special occasions in our life," he added as there were many different charms relating to different moments in their life.
"I originally wanted to give you it for our one year anniversary," the boy explained as the girl looked back up at him,
"Which one?" The blonde couldn't help but laugh as she cocked her head,
It was good that she was now in a position to find their breakup amusing.
"The first," the hockey player nodded as he helped the girl her put the bracelet on,
"Thanks baby," the soccer player smiled as she kissed his lips.
"You think that they are awake?" Mark asked from the other side of the door causing the couple to go quiet,
"You should knock," Dylan spoke up talking to a different person,
"Why me?" Luke let out a sheer groan of panic,
"Cause we don't need to see what they could be doing," Mark explained as he didn't want to walk in on anything,
"We all know that Lillian would be loud right-" Mackie began causing Lillian to turn a bright shade of pink,
"Oh my god!" Lillian let out a gasp as she got up causing Ethan to laugh,
"Come in before I kill all of you," she added as she opened the door letting the boys in,
"Can't blame us for being worried," Dylan raised his hands in surrender as he shrugged,
"Shut up," the blonde grumbled as she went back to her side of the bed,
"Happy birthday bro!" Mark smiled as he looked at the boy who was now standing.
