𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐖𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 her pen cap as she watched Ethan flex his muscles,

"So I was saying-" Ethan rambled on as he saw that the girl was no longer listening,

"Are you even listening to me?" He added as he cocked his head furrowing his eyebrows,

"Yeah sorry," Lillian tucked her hair behind her ear as she apologised,

"Were you staring at my arms?" The boy leaned back in his chair as he smirked,

He was in his blue crew neck that just still fit him,

"No," the girl shook her head as she turned a shade of pink,

"Continue telling me what you were going on about," she added as she made it look like she cared,

"So you can stare at me again?" The brunette teased as he smiled,

"I wasn't staring!" The blonde groaned as she was met with shushes from around the library,

"It's fine to admit it," Ethan pointed out as he smirked.

"I know I've got nice arms," he added in a whisper as he patted her hand,

"I will hit you Ethan," Lillian warned as she rolled her eyes,

"Hey I'll tell you that you have a nice ass if that makes you feel any better," the boy offered as he let out a soft laugh seeing her turn a shade of pink,

"You were always an ass man," the girl muttered as she sipped her coffee,

"What can I say," the brunette smiled as he messed with the ends of his cap.

"I know what I want," he added as he leaned back in his seat,

"Shut up," the blonde rolled her eyes as she held back a smile,

"It's true!" Ethan decided that it was now time to change the subject,

"You got any plans tonight?" He asked as he cocked his head,

"The boys want to watch a movie tonight," he explained as the girl nodded,

"You want to join in?" The boy offered as the couple used to have many movie nights,

"I can't," Lillian shook her head as she ran her fingers through her hair,

"The girls and I are going out tonight to celebrate the end of the season," she explained as it was a tradition that the girls would go out for dinner at the end of the season,

"Even though you were suspended for it?" The hockey player teased as he cocked his head,

"Hey I defended your honour!" The soccer player reminded him as she sent him a glare,

"And I am grateful for that," Ethan nodded as he remembered why she has gotten sent off in the first place,

"You know what you want to wear?" He added as he knew that her favourite things to do were get all dressed up,

"Indi was thinking of black so I was going to go with red," Lillian explained as the girls had been planning their outfits for days,

"Not orange?" The brunette furrowed his eyebrows,

Lillian had this tropical sunset looking dress that when Ethan saw for the first time he wanted to lock it away so that he'd be the only guy to see her in it.

"Red is usually a first pick," the blonde explained as she grabbed her iPad out of her bag,

"You know if you want some help I could always come over," the boy proposed as he used to help her out with that kid of stuff,

"I think I can figure out how to dress myself," the girl explained as she let out a snort as she shook her head.

Lillian laughed as the girls spoke about the memories from the season,

"And then Lillian got sent off for fighting her exes ex!"Avery smiled as she looked at the younger girl,

"In my defense she deserved it," Lillian pointed out as she raised her hands in surrender,

"And we stand by that," the team cheered as they had another sip of their fruity flavoured drinks,

The moment was the perfect way to end the season.

"For real though I'm surprised that you guys didn't get back together before the end of the season," Jenna explained as she turned to the girl,

"Really?" Lillian felt herself grow surprised as she didn't think that any of them paid attention to that stuff,

"We made bets on it and everything!" Taylor pointed out as she scoffed still mad that she had lost ten dollars,

"Who bet on it?" The girl asked as she watched all of her teammates raise their hands,

"Was anyone right?" She added as everyone shook their heads,

"I predicted Christmas," Indigo explained as she shrugged,

The only thing that Lillian thought about was the way that she wanted to tell Ethan about what her teammates had done.

Lillian walked into the boys home as she smiled,

"No that idea sucks!" Mark groaned as someone let out a laugh,

"What are you boys talking about?" Lillian asked as she found them in the living room,

"Lillian!" Luke smiled as he turned to see the girl,

"Our Halloween costumes," Dylan explained as he watched the girl nod,

"Can a girl get a few hints?" The blonde cocked her head as she wriggled her eyebrows,

"Just-" the boy began as he was going to tell the girl the whole thing,

"Nope!" Ethan shook his head as he cut the boy off,

"Why not?" Lillian pouted as she cocked her head,

"Because you haven't told me what your costume is," the brunette explained in a duh tone,

"Because it's a surprise," the soccer player matched his tone,

"Ethan where is your room?" She added as she was reminded that she was in her dress,

"Why?" The hockey player asked as he cocked his head,

"Because as much as I can't wait to see what we're watching for movie night, I need to change into something more comfortable." Lillian explained as she motioned to the orange dress that she was in,

"To the left of Marks," Ethan nodded as he watched the girl give him a thumbs up before she made her way up the stairs,

"Go follow her!" Luke spoke in a duh tone as he reached over to hit Ethan because this was a clear moment he should have been up there,

"Why?" Ethan asked as he furrowed his eyebrows,

"Just do it," Mark mumbled as he got up to go and get a drink,

Ethan nodded as he got up and made his way to his room,

"Lilly?" The brunette asked as he knocked on the door,

"Wow," Lillian let out a laugh a she had been too busy just taking in the room,

"This room is so you," she added as she looked at the boy who was now in the room with her.

"Is that a good or a bad thing?" Ethan asked as he cocked his head,

"Good," the blonde nodded as she smiled,

"What can I take?" She added as she felt like she was in unfamiliar territories,

"Your favourite pairing?" The brunette proposed as he handed her two of her favourite pieces of his clothing,

"Perfect," the girl nodded a she smiled,

"I'll go downstairs and save you a seat," the boy proposed as he was about to head for the door,

"Wait E," Lillian called out,

"Yeah?" Ethan turned to her as he waited to hear what she had to say,

"Could you help me with this?" The blonde asked as she motioned to the zipper at the back of her dress,

"Yeah sure," the brunette nodded as he watched her move her hair to the side letting him find the zipper much faster,

"So you got the red into your outfit after all," he added as he noticed the red bra that she was in,

"Couldn't let you pick my whole outfit," the soccer player smiled as she turned to face him when the zipper was all the way down,

"You two better not be fucking!" A voice called from down stairs ruining any and all possible moments that were available to come from that,

"I should get dressed," Lillian spoke softly as she looked at the clothes that were on the bed,

"Yeah," Ethan nodded as he made his way to the door,

"I'll see you down there," he added as before he shut the door behind him letting her get dressed.

Lillian came back down stairs to see that there was only one seat left,

Next to Ethan,

On the loveseat.

"Did you guys seriously move around for this?" Lillian asked as she let out a laugh,

"Yeah," Dylan nodded as he let out a laugh,

"You better watch your backs," the girl warned as she looked at the boys,

"I'm still a good cuddler," Ethan mumbled as he watched the girl sit next to him,

"You better be," Lillian muttered as she leaned against his arm,

"What are we watching?" She added as she cocked her head,

"Cars," Luke explained as he took a second to notice that his teammates hand was now resting on the girls waist but was quickly hidden as Lillian pulled a blanket over her body,

"Why?" Ethan furrowed his eyebrows as he had just learnt about it,

"Why not should be the real question," Lillian shot back as she smiled looking up at Ethan noticing that he was looking right back at her,

"Start this freaking movie!" Mark groaned as he saw the moment between the duo,

"I'm glad you could make it," Ethan whispered into the girls ear not noticing how she turned a shade of pink as shivers went down her spine,

"Me too," the blonde nodded as she smiled,

"You looked really good in your dress today," the brunette explained as they both spoke in a quiet tone trying to not take away from the others,

"But?" The soccer player asked as she cocked her head,

"You look even better right now," the hockey player smirked as he saw the girl in his clothes,

She might not wear his jersey at games but she does still feel the most comfortable in his clothes and that was enough for him.

"The girls said something funny today," Lillian smiled as she ran her fingers through the ends of his hair,

She always liked it long.

"What?" Ethan asked as he forgot how much he enjoyed the feeling of her long nails in his hair,

"They bet that we'd get back together-" the blonde began but was quickly cut off,

"Shut up you two!" Mackie groaned as he threw a pillow at the duo as he  could still hear them,

For the first time in a long time Lillian and Ethan forgot that they were no longer together.
