๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ a laugh as she watched another ping pong ball land in Marks cup.
"This feels cruel," Mark groaned as he took the cup in his hand,
"Don't blame us because you're shit," Lillian smiled as she stuck her tongue out,
"I hope you're happy drinking then," Dylan responded as he was quick to take his next turn,
"I can take that one," Ethan muttered as he watched the girl grab the cup,
"I can handle a cup of beer Ethan," the blonde shot back as she rolled her eyes,
"I was just saying," the brunette was quick to raise his hands in surrender as she grabbed the cup,
"I got it," the girl explained as she began chugging the contents,
"Can you two hurry up and play!" Mark groaned as he was oblivious to the stare that the exes held.

Lillian day in the backyard of the frat house as she watched two of the boys push each other into the pool,
"I'm glad they were never your type," Ethan sighed as he sat down in the seat next to her,
"Pardon?" Lillian asked as she whipped her head around to see him,
"Football players," the boy explained as he raked his fingers through his hair,
"I'm glad you don't find those guys attractive," he added as he rested his back in his chair,
"How do you know that I haven't had some type of awakening since we dated and started liking them," the girl shot back as she crossed her arms,
"If they were you wouldn't be sat here listening to me," the brunette spoke in a duh tone as he watched the boys girlfriends come to the pool irritated,
"And besides do you really want to have to fish your boyfriend out of the pool like that?" He added as he leaned over his chair to say the last part quieter,
"I had to stop you from pushing a few guys into pools," the blonde smiled as she let out a soft giggle,
She hadn't felt this carefree with Ethan in months.
"Don't act like they didn't deserve it!" Ethan scoffed as he shook his head,
"What?" He added as he noticed that the girl was just watching him,
"I like talking to you," Lillian confessed as she assumed that it was now the alcohol talking,
So much for a quiet night before game day,
"Good," the boy nodded,
"Because I like talking to you too," he added as he bounced his leg as he realised that he should probably mention something else too.
"You know, I'm sorry I didn't come to more of your games." The Canadian chewed on his lip as he pictured Indigo's lecture from the beginning of the year,
"What made you bring that up?" The girls eyes went wide as only one person knew that it was an issue that Lillian had with Ethan,
And that was Indigo,
"Just felt like saying it," the brunette explained as he wiped his now sweaty palms on his jeans,
"Where are you going?" He added as he watched her get up as though the gears in her head were turning,
"Just to get something inside," the blonde grumbled as she knew that she had to go and talk to her roommate,
That was the only logical reason for why Ethan now knew about it,
"Don't take too long," the boy called out as he watched her leave, completely oblivious to the fact that she was absolutely fuming.

The blonde tried to remain calm as she found her roommate,
"Do I want to know why you're dragging me to the bathroom?" Indigo asked as she saw the door shut,
"You've got some nerve you know that?" Lillian spat as she sent her roommate a glare,
"What?" The striker grew more confused as she was oblivious to the matter,
"You couldn't keep your nose out of my business with Ethan!" The defender explained as she let out a scoff,
"How'd you?" The brunette began as she thought that Ethan would be smarter than to admit what was said,
"So you aren't even going to try to deny it?" The blonde felt her jaw clench as she was quick to see red,
"I'm not sorry that I spoke to him if that's what you are asking me," Indigo shook her head as she still believed that she had done the right thing,
Both girls were very stubborn,
"I just want to be able to decide what goes on in my life without someone else fucking deciding to go and meddle!" Lillian explained as she waved her arms around as she let out a groan,
"He deserves to know that you still love him!" The striker shot back as she matched the younger girls tone,
"That's not your call to make!" The defender pointed out as she thought that it should have been clear,
"Where are you going?" The brunette asked as she saw her teammate move back towards the door,
"Out of here," the blonde muttered as she raked her fingers through her hair,
"Lillian," Indigo let out a sigh as she pushed her lips into a thin line,
"Let's talk this over," she added as she didn't want to go to bed angry with her best friend,
"I'd love to but I'd be too scared to find out what else you choose to tell people about me," Lillian shot back as she knew that the comment was a little bit unnecessary,
"I confide in you because you're my friend," she clenched her fist as she was indeed hurt by it,
"Not so you can go and tell everyone!" The girl added in a duh tone,
"What?" She cocked her head as she watched the older girl remain silent,
"I wanted-" Indigo began but was cut off when the door opened causing both girls to turn to see who interrupted them.
"Lillian," Rutger cocked his head as he locked eyes with Lillian and let his gaze soften as he could tell that she was irritated,
"I'm leaving Indigo," Lillian muttered as she pushed past the freshman as she needed to get out of there,
It was weird how she always felt the need to comfort conflict head on but hated the arguments that followed afterwards.
"Lillian!" Indigo called out as Rutger was quick to stop her,
"I'll talk to her," Rutger explained as he ran after the girl,
"What happened?" He asked as he grabbed her wrist quick to stop her from moving any further,
"I don't want to talk about it here," the girl explained as she let out a sigh,
"Can I stay at yours tonight?" She added as she cocked her head,
She would have asked Mark but he was busy talking to someone,
And don't even get her started on the idea of asking Ethan, which made her physically sick with nerves.
"Of course," Rutger nodded as he looked at his watch,
"I was just about to head back there anyways," he added as he let go of the girls wrist remembering the warning that his older teammate had given him.
"Let me just go say goodbye to-" Lillian nodded as she turned to go and talk to Ethan,
But unfortunately for her she was met with a girl that was sat in her seat who now had her hand wrapped around Ethan's bicep,
"Never mind," she added as she shook her head before she followed Rutger choosing to swallow the pain that she felt when she saw Ethan with that girl.

Rutger watched as the girl put her bag onto the ground,
"Where is Luca tonight?" Lillian asked as she cocked her head,
"He's apparently found a girl that he is going to stay with," Rutger explained with a smirk as he was proud of his roommate for getting some action,
"So it's just us tonight?" The soccer player smirked as she decided that she was going to do something,
"Is that a problem?" The hockey player asked as he watched her walk over to him,
"Nope," Lillian shook her head as she smiled,
"I just wanted to know that I'd be able to do this without anyone coming in," she added as she leaned onto her toes and she kissed him,
She didn't know if it was the fact that she was subconsciously trying to get back at Ethan or maybe the fact that she was trying to regain control of her relationships after what Indigo had said,
But all she knew was that it just felt right.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rutger asked as he pulled away remembering the whole Ethan thing,
"Come on Rutger," the girl groaned as she sent him a pout,
"We're friends and in college," she added as she could tell that something was holding him back,
And it definitely wasn't rejection.
"I know-" the boy nodded as he let out a sigh,
"So who says that we can't have a little bit of fun?" The soccer player asked as she cocked her head as she looked up at him through her eyelashes,
"Please Lillian," the hockey player let out a groan as he nodded,
"I'm gonna need a little bit more than that to carry on," Lillian pointed out out as she watched his fingers dance with the hem of her shirt,
"Up," Rutger muttered as he helped her push her shirt over her head before he sent her a smirk,
"Rut," the girl whimpered as she began to feel bare,
This was the first guy who had seen her in her bra since Ethan,
"You're perfect," the boy smiled as he pushed her against his bed before he began placing sweet kisses against her jawline,
"Please," the soccer player moaned as she fell against his bed,
"I've got you," the hockey player nodded as he pulled his shirt off before he went back down to kiss her,
"Don't worry," he muttered through the kiss as he placed his hand on her waist as he couldn't help but praise himself that he was getting one of the prettiest girls that he had ever met,
Somethings in life were definitely worth not listening to your teammates about.

AN: Lillian finally gets a little bit of fun, and I felt like Rutger low-key made the most sense to have as that character.
I originally wrote this chapter and then came back to add the last part in which is why it might not make a lot of sense in the last piece.
But anyways how do we think that Ethan is gonna feel when he eventually learns about it. Also before anyone gets ahead of themselves the girl that Ethan was talking to tonight was not a girl that he did anything with (in my world he goes home alone lmao)
