Morning Glory
"That was totally uncalled for," whined Layton.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Angelo. Do you not like getting left high and dry? You were gone for a whole damn week, Layton. What the hell? I thought I actually meant something to you. Wow, was I wrong? Did you even think about me? Coz, I don't think so. You were probably having the time of your life with Jamie, right?"
Kiandre was letting his rage consume him. His jaws were clenched as he took a deep, stuttered breath to stop himself from continuing to snap at Layton.
Layton let her normal, cool demeanor fade as she snapped back at Kiandre.
"Would you just shut up for a second? Look, Jamie was, and always will be my best friend. If you got a problem with that then tough luck, bud. You really don't know how much you mean to me, Kiandre. As soon as I realized you were in trouble, I came running. That surely has to tell you something. Or do I need to show you?"
Kiandre was taken aback by Layton's bold suggestion. Things were heating up. The rage soon turned into passion between the two. A fiery, carnal instinct took them over. They needed to feel the heat radiating off each other's bodies and Kiandre took the first step in doing so by taking Layton up on her offer.
"Fine, show me."
And with those three words, Layton stepped forward and grabbed Kiandre by his shirt. He soon followed suit as he crashed his lips onto hers, claiming them. Layton's legs gave way and the two of them collapsed onto the bed
In between the heated kisses and hot breathes Kiandre whispered, "Fuck, Bellissima. How haven't we done this sooner?"
Layton smiled against Kiandre's lips and bit down on them gently. She opened her legs so that he could position himself in between them.
"Don't stop," she moaned as his hand began exploring her curves and grabbing onto them with force, marking his territory so no other man would dare touch her the way he was doing.
He definitely was in charge, dominating every move made between the two, his new favorite sound were the moans escaping from Layton's lips.
He stopped kissing her and looked into her eyes, commanding her attention while his one hand gently grabbed her jaw. "Never again can you leave me, Cruz," he said before claiming her lips once more.
"There's no p..p...place I'd want to be without you," she stuttered as she began to lift Kiandre's shirt.
He stopped her. "Not tonight, Bellissima. I still owe you a date. Let me do things right by you," he pulled her on top of him and cuddled with her, allowing them both to catch their breaths.
Both eventually drifted off to sleep.
Layton woke up to Kiandre's manhood enjoying his morning glory by making his presence known to her from the behind. She giggled but then bit down on her bottom lip when she realized just how "manly" Kiandre was.
"Good morning, Angelo," he noticed his bulge pressed firmly against Layton and tried to cover it up. He planted a kiss on Layton's cheek. "Wait here," he said before scurrying off.
Layton used the opportunity to check her phone messages.
"I'm totally jealous now. I don't get to see my best friend first after an entire week," Rose messaged at 7:30pm
"You better be getting some. That's the only excuse I'll take for your tardy replies," Rose said at 8:15pm
"Remember, gloves are love!" Rose texted at 8:30pm
"Hey, sweets! Everything worked out okay?" Jamie asked 6:45pm
As she laughed at Rose's texts, she was taken aback by Jamie's. "Was I imagining some tension between us?" she thought but was brought back to reality by Kiandre calling out to her
"Come with me," he ordered.
He led Layton to her bathroom where she found candles lit, setting a beautiful aura to the room, a tub filled with flower petals and her favorite essential oils with a lather beginning to foam.
"I picked the flowers from outside," he said coyly
"This is perfect," I said.
It was a simple gesture yet it spoke a thousand words.
Three weeks had passed and everyone was enjoying their senior year. Kiandre had met one of his father's childhood friends, Mr. Keita, who introduced him to the world of biking. The two even began fixing up an old motor bike together so that Kiandre could learn how to ride.
He was a natural on the bike, he made the machine work for him. There was an upcoming race Kiandre knew he could win. There was some good prize money. He could afford to pay Cassidy back for bailing him out and have some money left with him.
"Why not kill two birds with one stone? I can take Layton to the races for our date and dedicate my win to her. That'll be something to remember and I can test out my new skills," he thought.
The day of the race:
Layton looked as sexy as ever with her hair tied up and rocking some leather, proving she could fit in anywhere Kiandre did because he was her North Star. The two of them being in each other's presence was enough to help Kiandre's nerves be in control. He sat on his bike, wearing a tight black t-shirt with a pair of jeans and his hair tousled, screaming "bad boy that can bring heaven to you."
"I'll be waiting for you at the finish line," Layton kissed Kiandre for good luck
"You waiting for me is all the motivation I need, love," he said.
Layton's P.O.V.:
As I watched Kiandre make his way to the starting line, I was in awe. This guy was able to make my stomach do back flips by just giving me a look - one that says "you're mine and I'm yours".
Then something caught my eye, a black Chevrolet Impala, one straight out of my favorite T.V show. I watched keenly to see who would be driving such a magnificent beast and to my surprise, it was Rick, dressed as casually as ever but his look was so alluring
He caught a glimpse of me and I smiled. He didn't smile back and instead ignored my presence. Wow! Okay! Rude!
I watched Kiandre win the race with ease and I beamed with pride. I felt someone gently grab my arm.
It was Rick. He whispered, "Come with me."
I obeyed as he ushered me towards his car.
End of P.O.V.
As soon as Kiandre crossed the finishing line, all he wanted was to get his prize money and leave with his girl. He wasn't interested in the praises showered by the crowds. As he searched for Layton, he saw her standing and talking to someone he didn't recognize. He began making his way over to them.
