{I love you}
♡-------♡
Hoseok smiled as you sang your favourite song on top of your lungs, which was deafening, while he drived to the location you all were headed to.
Yes, all. Jimin, Jungkook, Lisa, Jennie, Taehyung, Jin, Namjoon, and Jisoo. Did I miss someone?
The destination where you all were headed to was Bukchon Hanok Village, a perfect place for a break.
In front of your vehicle, was Jin's black Koenigsegg Trevita, with Namjoon in the same car's passenger side. Behind were your brother's with Rosé in Jimin's Lamborghini Veneno. Behind them were, Jennie and Taehyung in his Lykan Hypersport. You two were in Hoseok's Bugatti Veyron and Jisoo and Lisa were in their car Pagani Huayra which Lisa borrowed from her father.
You were wearing blue shorts with white top matched with white converse. Hoseok was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, white tee and a blue cardigan on top, match the colour of shorts. You were completely weirded out by his choice of shoes, since its laces were complicated than your life.
The nature surrounding the road was amazing, greenery, and little birds everywhere. Trees bend over the road, welcoming the guests at the beautiful mesmerising upcoming village, which was stole millions of people's hearts.
You were so engrossed in your singing, you didn't notice the car halting to a pause until Hoseok pecked your cheek to gain your attention. You didn't blush, after all, you weren't the shy kind of girl anymore and Hoseok made sure of it. He wanted his girl to be just as dominating as he was. Wink.
You smiled at his direction, confusion written on your face as to why they had stopped.
Hoseok chuckled, "Look outside, baby. We have arrived." Your eyes widen and you turn your head to look outside the window, your hair smacking Hoseok in the face.
You gasped.
So beautiful.
"Can I step out?" You asked softly, mesmerized by the place.
Hoseok, who was already out the car, laughed, "You dumb or what? Of course!"
You didn't look to any side, and opened the car door immediately. A cycle's horn grabbed your attention. You gasped as you realised it was gonna hit you.
An arm around your waist pulled you away from the way of the kid, and you sighed in relief. So did the one who caught you.
It was definitely Hoseok. Duh.
"Jesus, girl. Look I know you're excited and all. But calm yourself a bit, please try and stay alive till we reach the rooms." He sounded annoyed but you were the wrong one here. So all you did was pout and nod.
"Noona!" Jungkook's voice called your attention, and you smiled at your baby brother, before jogging towards him.
"Yes?"
"This place is beautiful! Isn't it? Jimin Hyung said mom and dad came here before I was born. You were a baby back then."
Your heart thumped against your chest as you took in the new information. "Say what?"
"Yeah, I wasn't that old, but there are some pictures in the family album where mom had marked Bukchon." Jimin came to join in the conversation with a smile on his face.
Jimin was now slowly accepting the fact that your parents are gone, and they left him two angels to take care of and grow with. He realised what's gone is gone, and he should cherish the new moments he could create with the ones he loves a lot.
You were glad that Jimin decided to change. Heck, everyone was slowly changing. Jennie was becoming a softie for Taehyung, and Hoseok, he was becoming responsible for you, and was trying to accept the Kim Brothers as his loved ones.
You smiled.
"Well then, it's time to recreate memories, make new ones, and add them in the album just beside the ones they had taken. Ready to enjoy this?" You grinned when Jungkook and Jimin pulled you in for a group hug.
"Ahem." A voice called out and you all turned to look and see Jin smiling softly at the three of you. "The rooms are booked, let's go."
"Okay." Jimin smiled.
Thank god they are cooled a bit now...
Jin left and Jimin sighed.
"It's gonna take time, Jiminie." You smiled.
"I know." He chuckled. He draped an arm around your shoulder and Jungkook, and grinned. "Let's go, kids?"
"Yes!" Jungkook exclaimed.
"I am twenty for God's sake." You rolled for eyes.
"Shut up, Ji." Jimin argued.
"You're a Ji too, ya know."
"Where is Hoseok when you need him?"
"I--"
A whole week in the break had already gone, and now it was time for you to leave for New York tomorrow.
Things were amazing. New memories with their loved ones, getting to know about each other's lives, learning to accept their faults and them. It was all for good.
You realised your baes were gonna debut as a group from six months from now. You knew they were hiding something, but they had to do so because of the terms set by their entertainment agency. Jin declared he was planning on adding changes to the will of their entire household, whatever they owned. Jimin and Taehyung were now officially trended as top models on international level and were called from Chanel for a shoot. Jungkook's exams were near.
More importantly, you got to know more about Hoseok. He had finally let out everything.
His father had killed his murder when she realised he was cheating on her with the Kims' mother. Since his parents were forced into a marriage because of the will set according to his grandfather, they had no choice but to have kid within a year of their marriage. If something went wrong, his grandfather would have taken back the company from his father's hand. Hoseok said he was never loved by his father, it was like he was an insect to him he felt disgusted at the sight of.
His mother on the other hand, pampered him with every love she could muster. He was like a diamond to her eyes. She loved Hoseok's passion for dance and wanted for him to be able to do something he would find his solace in. Though, her death turned Hoseok into a cold-hearted, selfish person. The immense pain her death caused him was too much for him. That's when he realised he won't get himself into relationships.
Though, he never expected to be the way he had turned after meeting you. He declared you were everything for him, everything. Just like his mother was. He also admitted that Taehyung and Jin had always been there for him, even Namjoon, but that dude was a bit stuck up as they were the same age.
You told him about your child hood.
You had always been the princess of your house, even now. Being the only sister among the siblings, you had always received a special care and treatment from every member of the house, even Jimin and Jungkook. You told him the story behind the surname thing, you even told him wht it hurt you when you saw a beach.
Beach was the last place where you all had spent as a family. It was actually way to calm a nervous Jimin before he had performed on his competition the next day.
You told him that beach actually held a bittersweet memories. It was the place where you had met a cute little boy, crying to himself while sitting near the shore. You recalled how his rosy cheeks were covered with trailing marks of tear drops. His lips looked like cute pout. The exact same beach Hoseok's his house at now.
You And Hoseok both figured out, it was Hoseok himself.
He told you he met this cute girl when he was small, making him smile while he was mourning over his mother. That small moment had stole his heart and to cherish that little girl who was a grown woman now, he bought a house at the same beach.
That little girl turned out to be you.
He was visibly happy. He couldn't believe the little girl who made him smile even during the pain, was now a grown beautiful woman whom he loved and held in his arms every night.
Not for long though.
You wiped the tears as they kept on flowing out of your eyes as you added new photos to the family album, and you smiled through the tears.
Bittersweet memories of mom and dad along with the joyous memories of the new ones.
It was night already, and Jungkook and Jimin were already asleep. Your bags were packed and were kept downstairs in the living room, already prepared so no hussle in the morning.
You kept the album properly and switched off the lights and went back under the duvets.
You looked outside the window, gazing the moon and drinking bright stars. Weirdly, the night sky reminded you of the night when you almost got raped and Hoseok had saved you. It was the day you realised you were in love with him as he made love to you.
A sob escaped your lips and closed your eyes, trying not to cry too loud or you would disturb your brothers.
You didn't want to leave. You just got everything settled, and you had to go now? But things couldn't be changed. You wanted to be a photographer.
Photos always held a special spot for you. Your mom had a fetish for memories and loved to collect them as photos. You had to make her wish come true.
You sighed heavily, trying to calm yourself but failing to do so. So eventually, you picked up your phone and dialled Hoseok.
It didn't take more that two rings before you heard his raspy sleepy voice. "Ji-ae? What's wrong?"
Of course. It's 1 in the night and you were crying.
You sobbed and Hoseok heard it. "I want to see you, Hoseok..." You whispered.
You could hear shuffling and rattling, and you realised, Hoseok was already out of his house. "I will be there as soon as I can. Come out when I call."
"Okay."
The call ended and you wiped your tears and got up from your bed. Without making too much noise, you grabbed a cardigan, wiped your face, and headed outside the house, waiting for Hoseok to arrive.
After twenty minutes, Hoseok pulled in and gestured for you to get in, which you did.
The drive wasn't long, before you were two already in front of a small park. No one said a word, until you reached the swing. You gripped it tightly as a loud sob escaped your lips once again. Hoseok immediately pulled into his warmth.
"I love you," He whispered, already knowing what was the reason. "I am yours, no I won't leave you. I will always be yours. Even if you leave me, I will be you to come back because that's how much I am in love with you."
You hugged him tightly, "I will leave early Hoseok....I won't get a chance to see you. My flight is at 5 am. I should be resting. But....I couldn't. Jimin would be awake in two hours, and I will have to go home soon....But I don't want to let go of you...."
"Hey, let's stop crying and enjoy a few minutes we have left. Besides, I will kill you if you just called me here to be your napkin, girl." He sounded serious.
You wiped your tears and smiled. "Okay."
You did nothing, as Hoseok held your hand and walked with you around the park.
"So weird." He chuckled and you look up. "What?"
"I mean, it's weird. All I did was stop you from killing someone and didn't expect things to turn into this. Not. At. All."
Now even you smiled.
"Jungkook asked for help, I don't know why, but I felt like going after you. It was like a string pulling me towards you. I was sad when I was allowed to leave the hospital but you weren't. And that night turned out to be..."
"Our first night together. My virginity taken away? Yes." You chuckled.
He smiled, "The next morning, I swear I had never seen someone so beautiful, like...that's when I realised that I had a soft spot for you. When later things turned a bit scary, I realised further that I was in love. I realised I couldn't keep lying anymore about my feelings. But that brother of yours had to ruin it. I won't lie, he did it for your own good." He smiled sadly.
"Things to go this far were seriously not expected. It's really weird if we think." You giggled. "But what do we do now? I am in love with a horse and probably would be for the upcoming future."
Hoseok stared at you, before pulling you closer and kissing you. You wrapped your arms around him in response, and closed your eyes.
I am smiling.
You both grinned.
We are in love.
You both looked into each other's eyes.
We are forever gonna be in love.
You touched your foreheads and closed your eyes.
We were linked by the string of fate.
Tears flowed from both your eyes.
Love is not described in words enough sometimes. It's love.
Your memory feels like home to me.
So whenever my mind wanders, it always finds it's way back to you.
You opened your eyes again, and grinned at each other.
Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can't wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement.
They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.
The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it's like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn't exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day's work and always brings a smile to your face.
In their presence, there's no need for continuous conversation, but you find you're quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there's a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible.
You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that's so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile.
Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.
"I love you."
And the tears didn't fall of misery, but joy.
____
So, basically, this is the end. The next chapter would be the last chapter and and after that may or may not be an epilogue.
So, yeah.
Stay tuned.
I decided to bring Roses and Flames. I already did a Hoseok fic and now it's time to add Tae. Oh god...I hope everyone loves this story.
Like, I don't know...what's even likable about this story? :(
Take care! Love you!
