Efe takes a sip of the can 33 immediately and smiles. He was basically trying to annoy Gideon, who had asked for a sip, so he simply told him off.
"Only God knows how you smuggled that in!" Jackson says, sparing a glance at Efe.
"Oga. Mind your book! Is he drinking it from your mouth, or did he smuggle it in your bag?" Excel, who appeared irritated, attacks. He had put away his bowl of Coco Pops, which he had been drinking.
"Baby Excel. Coco pops drinker. I wasn't talking to you." Jackson responds, clearly prepared for any exchange of words.
"Make una try dey shut up," Tari says while he walks into the room.
"Based on?" Jackson asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Your boss just walked in," Tari says, laughing instantly.
"Do we blame you?" Jackson asks.
"Jackson is surprising me these days. Since he returned, he has been attacking everyone. I wonder what he ate over there." Efe laughs and sips his drink.
"He will rest once I finally break his nose. Initial garagara." Excel says.
"We aren't your books!" Lights says with his thick accent. Meanwhile, Jackson adjusts his glasses.
"Light, abeg say what someone will understand. This is Nigeria." Gideon who had been sulking because Efe refused to give him his drink finally contributes.
"Please don't cry to me. I was not the one who refused to give you a drink." Light says. Everyone laughed except Nimi, who appeared to be deeply engrossed in his book.
"Schoolbag is talking. Why aren't you with your girls?" Gideon attacks?
"Yen yen yen. No one laughed!" Light says, making Efe spill his drink while laughing. "She isn't complaining. Jealousy." Light mocks.
"Come, Nimi. What are you reading with so much seriousness?" Tari asks while he snatches the book away from Nimi. Making him glare in the process.
"Ways To Tell A Girl You Love Her." Tari reads out in an amusing tone.
The looks on Nimi's face is priceless.
He yanks the book away from Tari with a frown.
"Mind your business!" He says, facing the book.
"Loverboy." Tari mocks. "A playboy never falls in love. " I can remember you guys mocking me during my time."
The look on his roommate's face is priceless. They looked very amused.
"When has approaching a girl become an issue for you?" Tari asks.
"Tari, abeg leave that one, follow me. I just set a compass, that girl with big ass and boobs in SS1, I know that's what you like, that's why I want to warn you first. I will fuck her before you do, because I met her before you. So don't act funny when we get there." Excel says.
"In fact, I am not escorting you again," Tari says.
"See this one, who is begging you. Efe are you up. You get to have a taste when I have drilled her." Excel says.
"Please, I am reading!" Jackson says with a raised eyebrow.
"Jackson. Thunder fire you there!" Excel attacks.

"How are you doing Mr Chidebere?" Professor Nsirim asks while he adjusts his glasses. "You can have a seat, sir."
"I'm fine. Thank you. And you?" Mr Chidebere inquires while taking a seat.
"Nancy. How are you doing?" Professor Nsirim inquires, looking up to Nancy, who is standing in a corner with her school bag slung over her shoulder.
"I am fine, sir!" She responds while adjusting her glasses.
"She has been having these attacks lately. She spent the entire break in the hospital. She was discharged two days ago." Mr Chidebere explains with a serious expression.
"Do not worry. She will be properly cared for. Hope you have spoken to her guardian?" Professor Nsirim asks.
"I will see her before leaving," Mr Chidebere assures.

Darlintina and her friends gather at the entrance to the Social Hall. Almost every Saturday, they would spend their free time there.
"Wendy. I forgot to tell you that your stepmother now lives in our estate." Boma makes a comment. Totally capturing Wendy's attention.
"She is no longer my stepmother. She and my father are now divorced." Wendy responds.
"Marriage that hasn't lasted." Precious comments quite amused. Meanwhile, Wendy mutter some incoherent words.
"Do you realize how much I dislike Senior Goriola?" Darlintina suddenly speaks. Everyone follows her gaze, only to find Goriola and Jordan walking in the opposite direction. They appeared to be very focused on whatever they were saying.
"You are talking like you're stating a fact." Boma laughs.
"Honestly. I don't know what he is feeling like, some God or what. As if he is the most attractive guy in the world, he has no idea I do not do fair dicks." Darlintina says in all seriousness. Her friends began laughing.
"But do you have dark dicks?" Boma asks.
"Boma you are just too corrupt. They will only see you when people are talking dirty." Precious attacks.
"Darlintina, is it because you like him and he has not noticed you yet, regardless of what you do?" Boma asks with an innocent expression on her face, ignoring Precious.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Darlintina asks sharply.
"It implies you do not actually hate but like him," Boma says.
"You are sick. What would I do with a snub? I don't know what girls see in him and Jordan. There is no time you see them smiling. To be honest, I prefer Wealth over them a thousand times. Even though he is a womanizer. But at least he is normal." Darlintina rushes through her sentences.
"Isn't that the ghost girl?" Precious
suddenly asks totally putting an end to the current conversation.
"Honestly. I didn't get her description." Wendy looks at the supposed girl they were referring to. She appeared to be deeply engaged in conversation with a member of the school's staff. She is accompanied by an elderly man, who Wendy believes is her father.
"Is there anyone you know?" Darlintina asks.
"You and I know you should take that back. I know practically everyone in this school. Even if you get enrolled today." Wendy laughs. "I didn't just get her description, her name is Nancy, she was in SS1B in SS1. She is the quiet type." Wendy laughs. "One more thing she comes to school extremely early."
"You have finished work. Titi, do you have any defense?" Boma asks, impersonating a commentator.
"The only thing is. I might not know their names. Just point any person, I will give you the important information. there is nothing that goes on in this school that Wendy doesn't know. I can even give you the list of boys who comes into girls hostel." Wendy says.
"Oshey. Minister of Information." Darlintina laughs.
"There is nothing someone won't hear in Hallel Colledge. I was wondering when we started schooling with ghosts. Who even started that rumour?" Precious asks.
"Efe you are blind right?" Boma attacks immediately after a sheet of paper gets thrown on her body.
"Short thing," Efe responds immediately. He does not walk past them; instead, he comes to a halt in front of them, causing Excel to do the same. Tari does not stop; he continues walking forward.
"I will slap that stupid smirk off of your face!" Boma exclaims in rage.
"With those shorthands, or what?" Excel smirks.
"Excel you weren't involved in this. I would appreciate it if you could simply mind your own business." Wendy chips in with a calm tone. Making Excel turn to her during the process.
"You were not involved, either!" Efe confronts Wendy.
"Why can not you stay without speaking to me? Like I do not want to talk to you. Is it by force?" Wendy inquires in a mock tone.
"I wonder oh." Darlintina backs her up.
"Always looking for trouble, big for nothing," Boma says.
"Boma, you know it won't take me anything, to give you the beating of your life?" Efe says.
"As in," Excel says, not missing the expression Boma gave him.
"You aren't ashamed. You want to beat a girl up, have you finished fighting with boys your age? Shameless He-goat." Wendy says this while leaning completely against the wall.
"Efe. You and I know it's just the mouth you are making. Near me, if I won't stab every part of your body." Boma says with rage visible on her face.
"Wendy. You know I ignore you for a reason. Your cup shouldn't full." Efe says.
"Come on, shut up!" Wendy responds almost immediately.
"Imagine, throwing paper on me. Like I did anything wrong to him." Boma tries explaining.

"Nancy. Make sure you do not forget to take your medication." Mr Chidebere says as he opens his car and pulls out her belongings.
"Don't worry sir. She under my care." Miss Ann. Nancy guardian reassures.
Nancy simply nods as she organizes her belongings. This was the first time her father took her to school. Apart from the day she was registered. It has always been the driver. She knew it was because of how bad her health was.
"Are you sure you can carry those?" Miss Ann asks.
"Sure!" She mumbles.
She didn't like the way everyone one was treating her, like she would die that day or the next.
"Should I get someone to help you?" Miss Ann asks with a lot of concern evident on her face.
"I am okay!" Nancy responds. Before bidding her father farewell. As soon as he was out of sight, she turned to Miss Ann.
"If you need me. You know where to find me," Miss Ann says.
Nancy watched her until she was out of sight. She takes a deep breath and becomes light-headed. She approaches the wall for support.
"Am I now seeing things?" She immediately recognizes the voice. Even though she had her eyes closed, she recognized who it was. She observes him staring at her for some time before deciding to initiate a conversation.
"Why are you staring at me as if you are a ghost?" She glares.
"Because I was wondering?" Light tries to say something else but stops.
"What?" She inquires with a raised eyebrow.
"I was wondering why you had not resumed earlier." Light says. "And I literally begged for your phone number and social media handle, both of which you flatly refused to provide." He speaks in a calm tone.
"I told you, I am not on social media."
"Which girl around your age would not be?"
"The one standing in front of you!" Nancy scoffed. In the meantime, Light rolls his eyes.
"You have no idea how you look when you do that!" Nancy says, maintaining a straight face.
"Why didn't you resume earlier? There is a rumour going around the school that you are a ghost. Light says. The look on Nancy's face is priceless.
"Huh? Ghost!" Nancy asks.
"I traveled for my grandfather's funeral. That is ridiculous!" Nancy says, trying to maintain a straight face. Meanwhile, Light gives her a good look.
"You have lost a lot of weight." He speaks. "Sorry about your grandfather," he says.
"It is his time!" Nancy tries to smile as she speaks.
