Immediately the car pulled over in Hakarat Mall, and April and the guys stepped down. She ended up picking a place, she had specifically chosen because it was closer. She watches Jordan and the driver make some comments before, he walks over to them.

"Let's go! Once we are done. I will call him, " Jordan says, now bringing out his phone.

"I'm hungry, " Anu says.

"Let's go get something to eat first," Nike says.

"Nike, who brought you here?" Jordan asks almost immediately.

"You!"

"Who is footing the bills?"

"You!"

"Then keep shut, until I say otherwise," Jordan says, making April smile. Nike could be annoying but cute In a way.

      A waitress joins them, and immediately they were settled in a chair. Jordan had no choice but to give in to his cousin's demands. The girl was terror in her own way.

"Welcome to Hakarat, please place your orders." The smiling Waitress says.

"Thanks, we will make a signal once we are done," Jordan says calmly.

"I need Cheeseburger," Anu says.

"Ice cream," Nike says, making Jordan glare.

"Ice cream too," Anu says with a cheeky smile.

"Nike, this is the I'm hungry?" Jordan asks.

"April?" Jordan asks turning to her direction.

"I'm okay." She responds.

"Seriously?" Jordan asks and smiles.
"You aren't comfortable?"

"Eating out." She responds.

"But you wouldn't mind if it'stakeawayss?" He asks. "Why am I asking? take away it is." Jordan says. While April uses her eyes to take in the beauty of the environment.

"Four plates of ice creams, a cheeseburger. I want these in takeaways." Jordan says referring to some items in the menu.

   April who had no intention of picking anything, even though Jordan asked her too, turned to Nike who seemed busy staring at something. April noticed she was a lot different from Jordan and Fisayo. Carefree, playful. Unlike Jordan who was kind of stuck up, she hadn't seen much of Fisayo, but to her, she felt Fisayo was also a cold person.

April is still lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice when Jordan got close to her.

"You still don't like anything here?" Jordan asks with a raised eyebrow. Meanwhile, April throws one glance at the bracelets.

"No!" She responds, turning to Jordan who looks at her like he was trying to read her thoughts.

"April, losing up. I won't bite you." Jordan says.

"Brother Dayo," Nike calls out, totally grabbing Jordan and April's attention.

April turns only to see the older version of Jordan. She needed no one to tell her, they were brothers.

  She watches the alleged Dayo, picks Anu up playfully, and ruffles Nike's hair, before turning to them. She could see the shock on his face, which he is too quick to mask up.

"Jay! Babysitting suits your personality." Dayo jokes. "Hey!" He smiles at April who couldn't help but smile too, his smile was contagious.

"Hi!" April says.

"Not funny!" Jordan keeps a straight face.
"Meet my older brother Dayo." Jordan turns to April.

"Jay. You won't even tell me her name." Dayo jokes.

"April," April responds with a small smile.

"Call me Derick," Dayo says with a smile before turning to Jordan.
"Thought you guys were going for a fair?" Dayo says directly to Jordan.

"We are back," Nike replies before Jordan could talk.

"I came to meet someone, I  was on my way home. It was nice meeting you April. You are beautiful." Dayo remarks.

April lets out a small smile.

"She is blushing." Dayo jokes. Making April burst into laughter.

"Senior Jordan!" April calls out, trying to indicate the salesperson wanted to see him.

"A minute," Jordan says before turning to his brother. Who had a mischievous look on his face? He understood what was going on in his brother's head.

"Can Nike and Anu go home with you," Jordan asks almost immediately?

"Now, you are joking," Dayo smirks.

"Be your brother's keeper." Jordan chuckles.

"You are a lot different from your siblings." April acknowledges while they step out of the more. She could feel Jordan's hot gaze on her from the corner of her eyes.

Nike and Anu had left with Dayo minutes back. She and Jordan had practically roamed around the mall, like lost puppies, before finally deciding the call it a day.

"Dayo has always been the jovial one. He is likable too." Jordan smiles.
"Fuck! I forgot to call the driver." Jordan says while he retrieves his phone immediately. April watched him talk to the driver on phone, without uttering a word. Once he was done, he put his phone into his pocket. "He will be here soon, let's roam about till he gets here." Jordan chuckles.

"Jay!" Someone calls out, making them turn to the direction which they heard the voice from.

  April could feel Goriola's intimidating look on her. He had this look like he was judging her or something. Like he wanted to see through her. It was obvious he disliked her.

"Gori!" Jordan calls out with a calm smile.

"I came with mum, I knew you were the one, although I saw you from afar," Goriola says not taking his eyes off April who seemed uncomfortable.

"We were actually leaving, my driver is on his way," Jordan says in a carefree manner. "He is here already," Jordan confirms.

"I will go catch up with mum. Stay safe." Goriola says throwing a last glance at April.

"My regards to her," Jordan says.

"No biggy," Goriola says before running along.

Jordan turns to April who looked rather too uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"It's nothing." April acknowledges with a small smile.

In less than a minute the Range Rover Sv is packed in front of them.

Jordan opens it, he uses his eyes to pass the message. April who gets it, enters into the car, and he joins her in some seconds.

     The driver speeds up immediately. They both dwell in silence. April stares through the window, she was practically enjoying the view. While Jordan concentrated on his phone.

   It's been almost 45minutes since they hit the road. April who noticed they were almost close to her Street turns to Jordan.

"Thanks for today." She says. Jordan puts his phone away.

"Thanks for joining me too." Jordan smiles. April nods her head in response.

"He should just pull over at the first transformer," April says referring to the junction.

"We can just take you home," Jordan suggests, meanwhile April smiles.

"This is enough. Thanks!" She chuckles. "There are a lot of talk actives in my street. They will just twist the whole thing for my mum, if they see me getting down from this." April smiles.

"Pull over!" Jordan says to the driver, who does as told.

  Jordan quickly gets off immediately, and April follows suit.

"Thanks for this!" She says referring to the snacks he got.

"You have said thanks for that a thousand times today." Jordan chuckles.

"Bye." She smiles.

"Wait," Jordan calls out, she watches him approach him slowly. He keeps his hand in his pocket. April's eyes bulge out, and immediately she sights what he was holding. It sparkled.
"Since you refused to pick something, I picked this for you instead. Sorry for whatever I did the other day." He says not to lose eye contact with her.

"I thought you were going to sleep there!" Wunmi says sarcastically, immediately April steps into the room. April laughs while she hands her the nylons.

"The guy is sensible at least." Wunmi jokes while she checks the items. "I can smell old money."

"Sister Wunmi, which one is old money again?" April laughs.

"That bracelet on your wrist says it all" Wunmi says. April takes a good look at her wrist before turning to her sister.
"Hope that boy isn't aiming at something. Because no guy gives you something expensive as a Tennis bracelet. Just for nothing." Wunmi says.

"Sister Wunmi, you have turned everything around." April chides.

"Go to a jewelry shop and ask for the price of that. Natural is bae has an empty brain." Wunmi says, making April smile. "I spoke to mummy today." Wunmi finally says, meanwhile April's facial expression changes.

"Did she sound okay?" April asks immediately she joins Wunmi on the couch.

"She said she is feeling better than before, but we will be spending this Christmas in the village with her," Wunmi says.

"That's no problem, I want to..., "

"April!" There is a knock on the door. April knew it was, without being told.

"Homa, the door is open!" She calls out. Meanwhile, the door gets open.

"Sister Wunmi, well done! April, come and weave my hair please." Homa says casually.

"Just give me some time, let me go and pour cold water on my body," April says.

"Make it snappy." Homa rushes her words.

"On top abeg oh?" April chides.

"Are you not my friend? It's your duty." Homa says making some sounds with the gum she was chewing.

"You aren't serious then!"

   Immediately Wendy gets downstairs and her facial expression changes.

She looks from Tari to Clara, before walking over to a corner. She knew they hadn't noticed her yet.

"You look like someone going to receive an award or something!" Tari says, making Wendy wonder if he noticed when she worked in because he was busy with his phone.

"I like your outfit!" Clara compliments.

Wendy is clad in a long silver gown and a black platform stiletto.

Wendy mutters thanks before turning in Tari's direction.

"Wendy, your Mum said I can get a white bow from you." Favour who looked ready for an outing says.

"Check in my closet!" Wendy responds.

"I'm not ready for this nonsense!" Kenny who was dressed in a suit says while he walks into the sitting room.

Tari burst into laughter immediately after he sights him.

"Who did this to you?" Clara laughs at her cousin.

"Mum said we have to look classy!' Kenny chides while he tries to knot his tie.

"You look classy indeed." Tari chuckles.

"Kenny, you look like a goat in that, just so you know," Wendy says while she picks up her pause.

"Hope everyone is down? None of you should waste my time, " Monica says immediately after she gets downstairs.

She is elegantly dressed in a red gown, coupled with Rodan krevan.
Her long weapon graced her back.

"Aren't you coming with us?" She asks immediately she noticed Tari wasn't dressed.

"No!" Tari responds.

"Are you okay?" She asks taking a good look at him.

"Yes," Tari responds. All this while Wendy's gaze was on him.

"Where is Favour?" Monica asks.

"Here Aunt!" Favour says while she runs downstairs. "Mum said I should give this to you!" She says directly to Tari, who retrieves what she was holding.
